Agree, it is also a mistake to disregard the effect that trimming the loss making low margin side of the business and the OEM partner (HP) restructuring had on the business (which they mentioned had already been rectified by mid November of this quarter). Plus we already will have added revenue from Snapcloud's beginning success and increasing income from the Exosphere's side of the business. GW on Azure will increasingly add to that in Q1. We are by all means as history will show, finally on the right track...
Mark this post if you like.
And they will be able to automatically sync with Active Directory from beginning of the year, which is awesome.
Nasdaq Investor Presentation with Microsoft
Presented with Microsoft executives who also attended Sphere 3D's NASDAQ bell ringing in June 2015
Sphere 3D in collaboration with Microsoft also showcased its technologies and product solutions during a joint global partner roadshow at multiple Microsoft Technology Center (MTCs) locations.
Since then, among many other milestones, Sphere 3D released:
- SnapCloud on Microsoft Azure
- G-Series on Microsoft Azure
- Glassware on Microsoft Azure
And became the smallest nanocap Partner in the Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance

Certainly looks like a satisfied and happy customer!
Aloha!
Sorry it is "just ONE" event tomorrow:
One at 2 pm EST - Go Live event with UPS
The company will be holding a "GoLive" event on December 17th, at 2:00pm EST to demonstrate the simplicity of provisioning Glassware 2.0 in Azure through a live install with a customer. Users can participate in this live webcast by registering at: https://live.sphere3d.com/.
Some went short and are now covering...while you cover u try to continue to do so while slandering...trolling...etc to cover as cheap as possible, logical no?
Exactly. Its actually very telling that they are now down to spreading rumors of this stupid kind, in so many ways a relief. If questioning has come down to such obviously wrong levels...then we can cheer up.
Likely the first or one of the first branches... As one hour event...
It is crazy how they constantly manage to fool companies into thinking that their product works, what was it again? Vaporware? No Glassware, oh I am so bad with names...
Very, very much agree. 2015 was the year for the shorts, 2016 is set up for a nice reversal in fortunes.
New G-Series Live Event Thursday
G-Series Cloud Edition of Glassware 2.0 on Microsoft Azure is here! Watch live on 12/17 at 11am EST, register here: live.sphere3d.com/login
Don't you worry....
And why did Microsoft invite them to the Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance AND praise them on multiple events? Oh, and attend the bell ringing, oh sure all cause they liked the little ball in our logo...
Thats how MS works... They like pretty logos...
"Keen's tweets don't seem like those of a disgruntled ex employee with an ax to grind"
Thats exactly what they sound like! Him and his little friend billjoy (history of never ending short statements also in the past) jumping around him, even defending him and repeating every word he says. Please...how more obvious can it be??
Come on go on Novarad's website, see Mark Watts talks about Sphere 3D etc.
And this:
http://www.newsfilecorp.com/release/9636#.VnBiYXrXeK0
Sure they are promoting Glassware, cause it doesn't work...ehhhm...sure....
Microsoft also needs to learn how to spot tech that doesnt obviously work
The only thing/one that seems to not be working is Keen...
Cant speak for SS, but he doesnt fall to such level. MK seems very obviously disgrunteled former employee. Still no job as it seems from his profile. Meanwhile he sees his former employer's flagship product on Azure while sitting at home eating chips...
So his frustration grows...or do we really think the timing is co-incidence??
Lol, u r funny
Thank you eom
Letter to IM resellers:
Sort of speaks for itself...

As to connecting to peripheral devices etc, for example, for printing etc, just tomsay while it wasnt specifically adressed in the webinar, they addressed it very clearly in the Go Live Video. So yes it does.
The the problem right now, whatever is not excplicitly stated, is automatically assumed no. So YES the company can and must do a lot better and I hope you can get questions answered, but that is coming.
As to financials, yes, of course, for a company that literally just announced the first instance of its flagship product coming to market, of course, during its development period the company bled cash and will lesser and lesser now, as the long awaited revenue ramp up materialises...
And again, agree the company needs to be more upfront in addressing and explaining the technology and its capabilities. The Go Live Events should certainly help.
Doesn't the timing of billjoy and Keen strike you?
We have just officially launched on Azure...no more deniability of product...VERY low market cap, and shorts still to get out...they must be VERY afraid of price rising and gaining momentum as then with green comes confidence against FUD...
The long battle (no pun intended) finally about to take a turn... for a change time is now on our side, not theirs
I think the shorts may have tried to get it down even harder, but sort of unexpectedly for them GW is now on Azure, which made the entire GW no way can do this, never will find it on Azure arguments laughable...
Suddenly, we went from NOT on the market to being very much ON the market. And that certified on Azure, and with an unpredictable sales force instead of "just us"...
To now be short the stock must be very "uncomfortable"
You would actually find it much more believable if you ever had attended an event
You know these events held by that small company called Microsoft...
Microsoft states clearly: "Your application or service must pass validation tests confirming that it runs well in the Azure environment and delivers a high-quality customer experience."
Even copied from Hugo's own post! G-Series AND Glassware clearly listed as Virtual Machines on Azure, must have been mistakes by Microsoft NOT just Apps after all??
Well, according to that company Microsoft anyway AND passed "validation tests" by Microsoft AND shown to deliver "a high-quality customer experience", certified by Microsoft?
And here we are shadowboxing with shorts on "public service"...
Don't you find the timing just a tiny little bit odd?
"That was then, today is a new day" he says about his opinion on Glassware...
So it went from "disruptive" (his own words) to what?
Interesting, I wonder what tomorrow brings?
Surely, there can't be any bad feelings?? After all he has been very much complimenting Sphere's management since he ehhhhm "left".... Oh no, he wasn't...
So no bad feelings, surely...now, is just "truth" time, ya right!
Well you didnt seem to think much of Keen before was allegedly let go, nor gave much to his blogs and tweets of how "disruptive" (his wording) Glassware is.
You want to read them?
Which card you want to play? His competence or incompetence? Tic, toc...
Sure, having Glassware now
1) on a global sales platform of Microsoft instantly available to customers on 20 global data centres - and used by more than 57% of Fortune 500 companies btw
2) on which it can be "paid for by usage"
3) Azure certified by Microsoft after extensive testing
won't make a difference at all...
Boy, oh boy...
Only one word comes to mind: Delusional !
You think the lack of buzz is because _________. Please fill in that blank.
Blank: We just "officially launched" yesterday! And that at a FRACTION of the cost of RemoteApp or Spoon combined with Remote App for that matter.
But its ok, keep looking at the past and ignoring all positive aspects, like oh, pricing of the solution, what a minor factor!
Never heard of its importance in the corporate world. Obviously. Lets just ignore that too!
If you dont really understand the huge cost difference, nor technical difference between Remote App and other techs, and Glassware, ask your tech friend, cant help you that much.
That said, I know playing ignorant is part of the role...
Reading this again, might help:
Here is some MSFT flavour of whats coming (Nasdaq: ANY):
TV promo from Microsoft, especially note THEIR wording:
Sphere 3D stands apart as the provider of Glassware 2.0™, which is the industry’s first Windows containerization technology. Though the industry has been abuzz with the premise that Linux containers are the new and efficient way to deliver application virtualization, it is often missed that these Linux containers do not apply to the majority of Windows based applications that are in production in corporate IT infrastructures around the world.
wwmtcstudios.com/en/Events/2016…
The only thing he has to do, or anybody, as a suggestion , is to read not even what the company states, but Microsoft states on Azure etc. it quite clearly states what Glassware, certified by them after extensive testing as a VM, as Microsoft also say, does.
Again, a suggestion
New article: Word starting to get out. What was the saying? Slowly, but surely....
Let a few articles pick it up from the others and then the news about that new to market container technology company, the ONLY windows container technology for application delivery working with Microsoft, can go viral from there

Talk about delusional!!
Very true Jeremy, which is why Sphere's management avoided the clients of LT and brought in their own investors last minute to replace them (and they wanted to participate and make it a much larger offering with some pretty obvious intentions). Agree, the timing and terms were unfavourable due to such last minute action to replace the "investors". The broker, LT, was however signed and he could not be replacec, so the transaction still had to go through them.
Your example shows very nicely that Sphere's management did very, very well in avoiding a large financing with LT's "investors".
IMHO of course
With pleasure, and as kindly requested:
