Drone Services USA, Inc. Announces Three FAA 333 Exemptions Granted since August 5, 2015
PR Newswire
FENTON, Mich., Sept. 2, 2015
FENTON, Mich., Sept. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Drone Services USA, Inc. (The "Company") (OTC Markets: DSUS) is pleased to announce that August and the first day of September 2015 has been very kind--on August 5, 2015, DSUS Director, Solomon Nieves was granted an FAA 333 exemption. On August 29, 2015, DSUS CEO & President, Joel Bredow, received his exemption notification. On September 1, 2015, Directors Mike Elliott and George Purdy of Drone Services Hawaii received their FAA 333 exemption.
"This is beyond exciting for the company," says CEO & President, Joel Bredow. "The stretch of time between submitting an application for this exemption and actually receiving a response, whether positive or negative, takes several months. While awaiting response from the FAA it was imperative that as a company whose operations depend in large part on obtaining the exemption we remain in lockstep, posturing ourselves for what's next. Although this can be very nerve-wracking, it's very satisfying since DSUS is resolute in not only providing our proprietary drones and our patent pending payload dropping system, safety & training is paramount. It is very difficult to offer all of this in one package without this exemption. Our aim has always been to stay one step ahead in not only UAV capabilities and related technology but in safety, training and repairs as well. These exemptions allow us to legally conduct demos, train and fly for commercial purposes," says Mr. Bredow.
DSUS is pleased to also announce that its director of SAR, FIRE & FAA Affairs, George Purdy, is presently completing negotiations at the University of Alaska for an FAA test flight certification program. Mr. Purdy arrived on August 30, 2015 and is expected to return to the Hawaii facility in the next several days where he is expected to announce the consummation of these negotiations and details.
More exciting updates coming soon!

George K. Purdy IV, Director of SAR, Fire, & FAA Affairs, Hawaii and Pacific Rim Markets:
As a child Mr. Purdy was always fascinated with technology, robotics and RC’s. Even then, Mr. Purdy would build, modify, fly & crash UAV’s just to repair and modify to fly again. Each attempt was to encapsulate exactly what was needed to create the perfect machine. As a true hobbyist growing up in his homeland of Hawaii, Mr. Purdy never imagined just how far his fascination with this type of technology could take him and how it would assist him in his deep desire to serve his fellow man.
As a young adult, Mr. Purdy began his life’s work in service with the United States Navy. As a USN veteran of Desert Storm, he then served with the United States Air Force. Finally he found himself back home with the State of Hawaii Airport Crash and Fire Rescue where he has been a first responder for over 17 years.
As a trainer for the Citizen Emergency Response Team (CERT) for the island of Lanai, Mr. Purdy is always looking for innovative ways and to add technology to our arsenal of techniques to protect and rescue the people of his community.
One of two veterans to establish Drone Services Hawaii, Inc., Mr. Purdy has set out to be the leader in sales, service and repairs for drones and drone related products in Hawaii. Working closely with the FAA, Mr. Purdy & DSH are working to assist in the integration of drones into the national airspace for Emergency Services needs.
As Director of SAR, Fire, FAA Affairs & the Hawaii and Pacific Rim Markets, Mr. Purdy’s contributions are in the research, development, marketing, sales, training and servicing of the entire future line of SAR drone products that DSUSA will produce. He is also responsible for and responsive to Hawaii, the western Pacific and East Asia markets for the variety of drone products that will be available.

Joel Bredow, President & CEO:
Passionately motivated by technology and electronics since early childhood, Mr. Bredow knows a thing or two about drones and their capabilities. Since the infancy of today's drone technology Mr. Bredow has worked diligently to position himself and his thermal technology company, IR Distro, to be at the vanguard of the industry when at last the rest of the world realizes just how significant a role UAV’s will take in our lives.
With an inherent ability to predict market trends and a keen understanding of logistics, certain that a marriage between thermal imaging and UAV’s is inevitable, Mr. Bredow worked tirelessly to ensure he would be ready to display his own technology to the world when it was ready to embrace what he knew would be the next wave of the future: In 2014, Mr. Bredow and IR Distro announced the IR Distro camera at the first annual drone show in the United States and the L.A. Drone Expo.
Side by side with the largest name in thermal technology, Mr. Bredow proudly and confidently provided an alternative option to what has presently dominated the thermal technology market, introducing his state-of-the-art product.
Having developed relationships with various entities throughout the UAV and thermal imaging world, Mr. Bredow works closely with manufacturers and other professionals who can quickly engineer and prototype new parts, tailored specifically toward our applications. As the CEO & President of Drone Services, USA, with his experience in the UAV world, a genuine understanding of customer demands and a drive to deliver, Mr. Bredow is to DSUSA what thermal imaging is to a Search & Rescue drone
