Haod, I'm guilty of spending too much time tuned into Coast to Coast with George Noory ( Steve Quayle's on tonight, doom and gloom city)...I'm still miffed at ENMD management being less than truthful about the phase 1 new panzem trials starting spring of 04....There is building boom here in Texas too, but there's a catch. The banksters and real estate boys pulled a fast one. They lowered the finance rates, but jacked up the prices. Add soaring insurance rates and property taxes, and that 200K fiber board shack doesn't look so good. I paid my modest house off years ago,I feel for the folks making $1500 a month payments. Getting off topic now, I'm through with the rant.

Haod, my investment guru predicts the markets are going to tank later this year, ushering in a multi-year recession. He cites the huge budget deficits, 550 billion this year, 7 trillion fed debt. Rising rates could pop the real estate bubble, it's already started, mortgage bankers are laying off folks. I expect a financial accident triggering a crash, probably from the currency arena. I'm still holding ENMD though, I hope she survives the crash

The plot thickens....ENMD goes flat @ $3.50 for many moons during the phase 1 healthy trial....The trial is over quickly, NC sez the goals were met...Remember the reformulated slide show?....Celgene stops revlimid drug trial, presents at 3 conferences next week...It'd be a hoot if the reformulated panzem is off the charts, Celgene is loading up,and fixin to put one of thier guys in charge. It's interesting that during the CC, NC stressed emphatically, and more than once, that the property belonged exclusively to ENMD.

Looks like NC is playing close to the vest. The phase I new formulation trial took just 6 weeks. If I recall ENMD sought outside help to address the bioavailability problem. Then surprise,surprise, ENMD chooses a liquid form. If the new formulation is off the charts, I doubt if NC would divulge that info at this juncture. I'm anxiously awaiting that "not too distant future" FDA-new formulation-in-myeloma-trial decision. Anyone have data on how bioavailability results compare from mice to man?

moberylane, the remission and stable disease is from the myeloma trials using the old panzem formulation, the phase II's at Mayo and Dana Farber. ENMD has to get a green light from the FDA before using the new formulation on myeloma patients.

potsy great point...NC said there are currently two phase II myeloma trials, Mayo and Dana Farber. He also said there would be an update on FDA/ new formulation in the not to distant future. Someone asked if the new formulation is still taken orally. NC said 3 goals were met 1. increased bio availability. 2. no toxicity 3.taken orally
