GM Densters, two out of three up today, the other churning, all lookng good for the faithful.
The big question is, did you get tickets?
I agree.
Go Hawks, should be a good series but the Hawks will win.
We play Vancouver, we have a pretty good chance. Sure not the same as playing the Caps, but you guys could win, I hope so.
Not good. Ovechkin will eat you alive. J/K
Good post, isabear. Have been doing exactly that recently. I'm way overloaded now in EIGH, and am buying C at these high prices (had accumulated before at much lower prices) because I think it or GRNO will squeeze before EIGH. I think all 3 are great, and there is no serious mistake in accumulating any of them, it is a judgment call. I do think it's important to have some dry powder for Monk's next call, which I did not have when GRNO was recommended, to my detriment.
Kings are having goalie trouble, playing the first goalie who is in a slump. The second goalie, Jonathan Bernier, is better now. I hope your Habs do well, as long as it isn't against the Kings.
GM YM, looking forward to a very green week. Hope you had a good weekend.
I am a primary Ducks fan, but since I am in LA my second choice is the Kings. The Ducks will rise again, but have to wait until next year. Congrats on the Habs and good luck.
Joel, good philosophy. No need to retire if you are doing what you like or love every day. For me, I could retire tomorrow, but then I'd starve to death.
GM Board, agree with Joel on EIGH, but not in his hockey picks. Kings rule!
Gm Board, and Skunk, excellent poem, should be a stickie.
Ctay, for a "newbie" I believe you are doing quite well. As far as EX, he is a perfect example of Paying It Forward.
Don, thanks for the pic. It seems like the Monkinar attendance is growing since I went to LA2 in January, when it was also very good. Smart people.
As opposed to being a WAMU stockholder.
Then I have mixed emotions and won't watch, LOL. My daughter is a big hockey fan, we go to Ducks games on occasion, but she has a crush on Patrick Kane.
I'm with you, although now that I live in California I'm also rooting for the Kings, who are a young team on the rise, but not on the level of the Hawks yet.
Congrats, I agree, looks like a very wise investment for the future.
Maico, that's a nice piece of change.
Mikita, a natural athlete. As long as your wife doesn't hang you along with the picture, it's all good, LOL
I like the Hawks a lot, best pro sports team in Chicago. Do you remember the glory days, when they had Bobby Hull, Stan Mikita, Pierre Pilote andn Glenn Hall? This team is 1-2 years away from the Stanley Cup, IMO. Depends on the goalie.
They broke the mold when he retired. Do you remember Jack Brickhouse and Harry Creighton? I guess I'm dating myself.
The Cubs shall rise again, like a good cake. Never say die. Remember "Bleacher Bums." Where's Ernie Banks when we need him?
Beautiful city, high class, excellent small college.
Thank you, Monk.
Hi, Sidney, are you in Indy yet?
Congratulations, Cowboy.
Sounds like a pretty healthy addiction if you have the money.
GM ctay, about 30 days for you now and counting!
GM Connie, you can appreciate the weather even more when compared to all that rain in Eugene.
GM, Mr. Cub, you know you can't keep a great team down!
GM Den
Thanks again. I appreciate your responses. GLTU
I'd rather not say, I'm a private guy, and will be highly embarrassed if it doesn't work out. I remain cautiously optimistic, what else can I do? I don't want to sell at this low level. I hope that you and all of the rest of us longs do well here.
Thanks again, Chiro. I hope we get a different result this time, I've got a substantial position here, although I rarely post.
Thank you very much for the explanation, Chiro. When did that occur? I better understand now your sentiments expressed here.
Chiroman, I am not familiar with the Barrons debacle. Would you please fill me and the rest of the board in, you have been here much longer than most of us. Who is Barron and when and what happened? Thank you.
Have fun at Indy, you might be the valedictorian there. Say hello to Monk and the gang there.
YW. The Monk stocks should make everyone cheerful here, as well as the friendships and camaraderie on our boards. A true respite from the negativity and chaos of most other boards.
