TEC, that was funny.
I think there will always people out there that whine about everything.
I have said this before, but it is one my favorite quotes:
Patience is the ability to countdown before you blast off.
Lol! It's great to see that you started your own blog! I feel like I kind of know someone now. I'm following you now, and good luck in the future.
I feel you there. It cost me $91 just to get 22 gallons of gas in San Diego.... Doesn't help that I have a truck either.
I am pretty sure KBLB did the forward split so Kim could have more shares to stop a potential take over from happening in the future.
Does no one else find the human diagnostic technology KBLB has the rights to a bit interesting?
Ok, so here is a wild theory. You know how Joe Noel runs that direct to consumer marketing company? Well what if these diagnostic test kits are potentially a direct to consumer product? Maybe that is what he was referring to working with the company in some aspect. hmmm.... Thoughts?
That human diagnostic technology sounds very interesting. The other technology KBLB has the rights to is "genetically fused polymers for use in diagnostic test kits. These are fibers that have been fused with antigens" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antigen) "and reactive agents for testing blood, urine, or saliva." He calls it their "Human Health" aspect of their program.
IMO It sounds like it is a surface area composed of many fibers each coated with a different reactant that can be commercialized and purchased by consumers that may want to test for certain types of diseases or disorders. Possibly a year "check up" to test for things like cancer? Sounds awesome.
Nice green day today. Happy to see it.
Morning! Logged in with facebook, just wanted to see if anything changed.... It doesn't
Wow! Good find.
Ohh! Good choice! Also Brazil has a large silk manufacturing industry.
In order to do business in China, you have to allow the government 100% unrestricted access to the product, and they can use it for anything they want (I believe, can someone confirm?). I personally do not think it will end up there. Maybe India? Hopefully the quality of the silk can allow for US production, but I do see that as unlikely.

āwell KBLB aint a fortune 500 companyā
Why do you argue facts that were never stated? You think the process differs if your company is small or large? Simply put, the process is not simpler. Often times it is much more difficult because small originations have less resources to allocate, which causes deals to take longer then fortune 500 companies.
āwhat i did say was that the ceo should be putting information as to anything that is taking placeā ānot details but something to indicate hes actually in the process of accomplishing something with someoneā
So you expect the CEO to say? āTalked to X company todayā āTalked to Y company todayā āTalked to Z company todayāā¦.. Reviewed legal documents todayā¦.
Any PRās released without a concrete deal will look like the company is trying to raise their stock price on the āpossibility of a dealā. I have noticed many times you are well against words that are not concrete. Then why would you expect the CEO to release anything otherwise? I know I donāt want BS PRās unless there is some concrete development.
āim talking about the ceo publicly putting out something...not whispering sweet nothings to certain investors who then pass it along third hand...if the ceo cant put it out to the investors then anything he says individually is suspect..ā
Those sweet nothings are from people calling the CEO directly, and him having the courtesy to answer our calls and answer our questions without divulging information that can be constituted as insider info. And if there is a merger, you donāt want to announce it until the deal is done. Remember when Wells Fargo came in and purchased Wachovia from under Citibankās nose? Why, because the talks were made known to everyone. Who is to say another textile company will not swoop in an purchase a company from under KBLBās nose just to cause a delay in marketing their product?
Your trading strategy seems pretty sound, and you make a few good points here and there, but everything seems to be black and white with you. One of the laws of economics is that people make decisions based on limited information. With all limited information comes levels of gray the canāt be determined by a set of rules. While your method can make you money, you (nor I) have all of the information available, so we must decide to base our decision on the information we do know. If you have any questions regarding the known information, ask away, I am sure this board can answer most any of your questions.
Another reason this board is so adamant in defending the stock, is because we have done our due diligence. We have a vested interest in ensuring this company succeeds because we all believe in the product. We are traders, but we also see this product as a disruptive technology that has a real practical application in just about everything we use today (textile wise).
Well Congrats! You still keeping your paper to yourself? :)
Well now I read your post.... Will do :)
From reading many of your posts I don't think you have an understanding of how long it actually takes to close a deal. I work for a Joint Venture between 2 Fortune 500 companies, and let me tell you, deals take time. Especially when you have to decide which option best suits your business plan. The plethora of lawyers involved could take months just to figure out all of the legal stuff.
In regard to Henry Joe Cunnings, the former DuPont scientist, not only does he have connections with them, he was responsible for bringing polyester from the laboratory to commercial production. If you can honestly think people like Joe and Henry Wendt would tarnish their superb reputations for something that they themselves didnāt believe in, then you have a hard time noticing the clear signs in front of you. The company has been silent, but I have developed products before, and until you figure out the whatās, howās, and whenās you donāt really have anything to say. Again to emphasize my point, it takes more then a couple of weeks, and sometimes more then a couple of months.
Lol! You crack me up edward.

Nothing regarding KBLB, but I thought I would post the links anyway.
Cheers
To answer your other question, I highly double KBLB is focusing on anything else right now besides spidersilk. From reading Joeās comment it seems like there are other ideas that he would like to pursue, and if he sold the company for around $1.00 a share he would have the capital to do just that. KBLB does have rights to the piggyBac technology, which has many uses outside the realm of silkworms and spiders.
LOL. No problem. I was just replying to Manshoonās comment about the capability of other transgenic possibilities. But now that I read it again he was talking about other silk possibilities then spiders that could be injected into the silkworm, not whole species in general.
Sorry for straying too far off topic :)
Here is a link to the fuel bug:
http://solar.coolerplanet.com/News/3111002-bugs-could-solve-the-worlds-energy-crisis.aspx
I'm sure there are a lot of transgenic possibilities. There are certain bugs that when fed waste products such as wood chips or wheatstraw that secrete crude oil. Apply those traits to a bug that produces a lot of waste and you could have a viable fuel alternative. Just a thought...
Nice to point out that distinction. I'm sure if Kim does have 2 other "play" in mind they are probably both in the R&D stage, if even initiated. I don't think he would dedicate much time to anything else before KBLB gets a solid ground to stand on.
Also, who is ready to trade spidersilk futures?!
Well, I disagree with part of what you said.
1st, if my brother-in-law told me that he was going to be quiet for the next couple of weeks, and I let him keep my money, can I really get mad at him for not talking to me in a couple of weeks?
2nd, If your brother-in-law was a dirt bag, you would probably not let him borrow your money in the first place, but if your brother-in-law was a āgeniusā working with disruptive technology that can virtually change every aspect of the market and the world, wouldnāt you make an excuse for him?
Of course you are probably a great trader and your strategy has kept you from losing much money, but I would argue to say that this technology has a greater potential then any other stock on the market today.
Right! I read every day, but the people on the board cover everything before I even have time to research it. Then we have those who come in and spew non-sense.
In regard to KBLB, it looks like there have been a lot of ideas floating around as to what might happen with this stock. All I can really add to the conversation is that this seems have been Kim's baby for the last couple of years. Not to say that I am Kim, but if I was I would probably be doing the same thing. We all want a thumbs up from him to say everything is good, but sometimes no news is good news. Remember, there is really nothing else to talk about until something gets published in a science journal, or until we receive information about the shareholder conference in the next week or two. Those are my top guesses for the next PR that will be released.
Just a side noteā¦. Does anyone have any idea what the other two biotech companies Kim is involved in?
When you update the iBox, make sure the keep that provocative cartoon witch at the bottom of the page :)
Now that is awesome! Good work!
A+
Has anyone seen this article before? It is kind of old, but they created a pair of spidersilk socks by injecting genes from a golden orb spider into a silkworm.
http://www.gadling.com/2007/12/12/big-in-japan-spider-silk-socks-warm-the-toes-and-sooth-the-soul/
Not really worried, but it looks similar.
Quick question, and maybe because I have never seen it before, but if DuPont did try to buy KBLB outright, what would the shareholders get for the "potential" and intellectual property of this technology?

That is pretty much what the book said about Ray.
I posted a few months back about him, I will look for it.
Finally some upward movement! I got MNDP back in September, so anything to recover my losses since then is awesome. I'm hoping for a penny! Reach a penny!
I thought these articles were interesting about honeybee silk:
http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2010/03/100303092409.htm
http://www.popsci.com/technology/article/2010-02/aussie-scientists-create-synthetic-honeybee-silk-could-reimagine-textiles-composites
Maybe KBLB can combine honeybee with the silkworm to produce even more varieties of silkā¦
Added another 5k shares at .067! Hoping to add another 100k + before Jan (christmas bonus coming up!)
Hopefully Santa delivers on the lump of golden silk.
Ever heard of Arbitrage Trading? How can I do it? Sounds like a sure thing especially with the 38% price difference between the German and US markets.
