PA's Repub candidates for U.S. Senate debate tonight, 8:00pm - if it's on C-SPAN, I'll watch.
Hey, give FL's legislature a break - they're busy banning storybooks and fighting with Disney.
Again from CNBC, the board's offer is $54.20/sh - T's close on Friday: $48.93/sh, per YAHOO Finance.
Regarding Elon Musk and Twitter, reports this morning on CNBC indicate T's board is on track to make a deal with Musk.
And if Eastman doesn't and challenges the judge's ruling, what then?...he could run out the clock by taking this ruling from court to court - TFG's gang have been good at doing that.
Dems have to give voters a reason to vote - watching TFG at his rally in OH last night spewing his usual hate speech should be enough.
Update results: Macron: 58.8% vs. Le Pen: 41.2%
That is interesting.
This was Le Pen's 3rd try and 3rd time voters rejected her - it sounds like she will now concentrate on the Parliamentary election in June.
France's President Macron wins 5 more years...Macron: 58.2%, Le Pen: 41.8%
I saw Charlie Cook (political analysist) this morning on C-SPAN, and he confirmed what many believe - the Dems are in for a "blood bath" this Nov...To nobody's surprise, the party in power loses seats in following election, but add to that the pocket book issue (inflation) will effect the enthusiasm of Dem and Ind voters to turn out.
Cook said his analysis shows PA's senate race will probably be won by a Repub, and Georgia's gov race will probably be won by the current gov, Brian Kemp (R).
Reports indicate if the GOP does well in Nov, TFG will seriously consider running again in 2024 - which would be a disaster for this country...Fingers crossed Putin's other friend, Marie Le Pen loses her election today in France.
Oh he knows he lost but he needed a schtick his fans would fall for and bring in money.
I agree...TFG's ego could not handle losing again.
I was reminded this morning by NPR of the book, The Velveteen Rabbit - a wonderful lesson for children about what is real.
Good for you!
Totally agree.
I don't agree. While I understand the emotional anger regarding reproductive legislation, it's not constitutional to exclude a certain group from voting on an issue - we see this today with Repub pols trying to exclude a certain group of people by gerrymandering Districts.
How about the judge remind MTG she is under oath.
She's been coached to not give direct answers - it remains to be seen if she's being too cute by half.
Bad news for McCarthy.
MTG is having a hard time dodging questions..
This hearing is televised on C-SPAN.
France's Le Pen wants to pick up where TFG left off.
IS THE RUSSIAN MILITARY A PAPER TIGER?
At a critical juncture in the war in Ukraine, logistical miscalculations and poor planning have revealed key weaknesses in Putin's armed forces

It seems to be the consensus of most people who watched the debate that Macron bested Le Pen.
It's no surprise Le Pen would rally her troops - disdainful and disrespectful are code for "elite", a word TFG uses to gin up his fans.
.
I watched the entire debate - 2.5 hours, and although I am not totally familiar with all of France's issues, it was obvious Ms. Le Pen is a somewhat shallow candidate who appeals to far-right voters.
My nephew lives in France, having graduated from McGill Univ and meeting/marrying a French gal, so I have more than a glancing interest in France not electing a Islamophobe/racist, and the minute Le Pen said she will prevent wearing a headscarf in public places, I felt she buried herself. She also said she'll raise everyone's salary - Macron was quick to remind her she cannot do that. Macron referred to Le Pen as Putin's candidate, reminding everyone she has never paid off the loan a Russian bank gave her. Her defense was no French bank would give her a loan, a very weak excuse that did not explain why she hasn't paid back the Russian loan - leaving the impression she is beholden to Putin.
Le Pen is obviously using the Trump playbook - appeal to racists and those who feel they are not getting their fair share. I hope France is smarter than the U.S. was in 2016.
I liked the debate set-up - candidates were seated at desks facing each other, there was no audience, four topics were chosen to discuss, and the candidates chose the two moderators.
He's desperate for $$$.
Excellent - bone saw and all!
A French journalist posed the key question for French citizens when they go to the polls in 4 days - Do you hate Macron more than you fear Le Pen?
That's nonsense!...You can post here with facts, but conservative-only Ihub Boards block anyone with a different point of view.
France's President Emmanuel Macron and challenger Marine Le Pen debate later today, days before France's election for president.
Macron will probably hammer Le Pen on her close ties to Putin, pointing to the loan she recently received from a Russian bank, and what he will call her hidden agenda for France to leave the EU.
Le Pen will probably try to make Macron seem like a know-it-all who does not care about people who are struggling and try to stay away from her affinity for Russia.
France24.com will cover the debate to begin at approx 3:30pm U.S. time today.
Part 1: THE POWER OF BIG OIL last night was interesting....
Part 2: Tuesday, April 25,
Part 3: Tuesday May 3.
Just end Disney's donations to FL Repub pols.
I'm a huge fan of Julia Roberts.
GERMANY ENLISTS DEFENSE FIRMS TO SUPPLY UKRAINE WITH WEAPONS
44 Minutes ago
(Bloomberg) - Chancellor Olaf Scholz said Germany has enlisted the country's defense contractors to help boost deliveries of weapons to Ukraine after exhausting available stocks from its own armed forces.

Where do the Republicans find these people?
I am watching France24.com now and the panel has expressed that very thought...the Russian people have no idea what is happening in Ukraine as Putin has effectively shut down all information sites in Russia other than what HE wants them to know.
On the discussion of Putin's threat to use nuclear weapons, Western countries have become intimidated...Also, the number of weapons Western countries have supplied to Ukraine is not nearly enough to hold off the Russian military.
Delaware's Sen Chris Coons is in Europe now and his chore is to keep NATO countries unified - I'd like to believe Sen Coons will also discuss Putin's threat of using nuclear weapons and a definitive reaction from NATO countries should Putin be so reckless.
If Ukraine does not cease fire by a date certain of May 9 set by Putin, will Putin resort to using nuclear weapons regardless of what Russia's Foreign Minister Lavrov said, what then?
MTG belongs back in high school, not in Congress - no offense to high school girls.
I would prefer to see MTG thrown out of office at the ballot box, but we're talking Georgia, the state who put her in office.
