Dandream: My guess that having a SECOND highly-experienced energy/government adviser would serve as a very strong confirmation that Evolution Fuels has some very serious aspirations and intent. Upon releasing news of an additional adviser, I believe that EVFL could easily go to the $0.0018 to $0.0025 range.
Additionally, I personally consider the PRESENT fair value of the stock to be roughly in the realm of $0.0020 per share: "Over $12,000,000" assets divided by the recently-stated 5.99 billion outstanding shares.
Dandream: So that I might also provide an answer, I would like to know what "big news" you were referring to.
Dusty: Trusting your understanding of things, I would like to ask you the following: I bought additional shares on June 12 and June 15. These shares were bought after the June 10 Record Date, but before the June 16 Ex-dividend date. Would I be entitled to receive dividend shares? (Whether the Record Date or the Ex-Dividend Date controls.)
The number of pre-dividend shares has remained the same. I do not following your reasoning.
Rather than getting upset, ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS TO REFUSE TO SELL OUR SHARES AT THESE RIDICIOUSLY-LOW PRICES!
Anyone choosing to sell at 2 is a LOSER.
See Post #5591: TD AMERITRADE IS NOW ACCEPTING BUY AND SELL ORDERS ON ALL NON-DIVIDEND SHARES! (Information only)
Irondog: Just placed a sell order for some of my original shares. TD AMERITRADE IS NOW ACCEPTING SELL ORDERS ON SHARES PURCHASE THROUGH YESTERDAY! BE AWARE THAT THE SHARE COUNT EXCLUDES THE STOCK-DIVIDEND SHARES.
Irondog: Same here, and thank-you for advising me of that.
Irondog: My TD Ameritrade account shows the same in the Gain/Loss section. Be prepared to see those shares SEGREGATED INTO TWO GROUPS, shares having the EVFL symbol and others having number: The original shares entitled to the stock dividend, and the stock dividend shares themselves (most likely to be assigned a numerical designation).
Ten minutes ago, TD Ameritrade made an entry in my Account Activity section, with the dollar amount being "0.00":
REORG-NAME CHANGE 6/16/09 EVOLUTION FUELS 30049F106 Auto Reorg #64462 STOCK PAYM (EVFL)/ (27031F102)
The remainding sections of my account remain unchanged.
Dandream: Placed the order with TD Ameritrade about 2 hours before it was filled.
Dandream: Placed the order with TD Ameritrade about 2 hours it was filled.
Just bought 1.7M at $0.0003.
Thank-you JT. I appeciate and understood your answer. Want is left open is whether we will be getting stock dividend shares in a company having the trading symbol "OOPS."
Regarding my Post #5935, can anyone give me a yes, no, or maybe?
General information: Regarding the EVFL chart on BigCharts.com, I believe the chart is in error. It ERRONEOUSELY shows a 2:1 stock split and a historical low of $0.0001. The low should be shown as $0.0002, irrespective of the 1:1 STOCK DIVIDEND.
General comment: I believe the EVFL chart on BigCharts is incorrect and will be changed. The chart incorrectly shows a 2:1 split, and a historical low of $0.0001. The historical low is $0.0002, irrespective of the stock dividend.
In response to your question: I bought the majority of my shares on or before May 15. I bought more shares on June 12 and June 15. For all of these shares, I received the dividend shares.
I am confused as you are, however since this was not a cash dividend (wherein the Ex-dividend date routinely preceeds the Record Date), I am quessing that in our case, the Record Date is of no effect, any that only the Ex-dividend date controls whether one is entitled to receive the dividend. In other words, that one must buy before the Ex-dividend date to get the dividend shares. I have no informational confirmation of this! Somehow, sometime, we will find out.
I fully agree. If I was running a company, I would want all of my loyal shareholders to be given a level playing field, even at the expense of disappointing those persons who have been promised news. To do otherwise would be to risk immense justifable criticism. The playing field will be leveled until every shareholder receives his tradeable shares.
As to my TD account, the dividend shares now appear in the Gain/Loss section (under the Account tab). The symbol shows as "EVFL." However, I am unable to sell either the original shares or the dividend shares. Sell orders are being rejected.
The outstanding shares number has increased to 4.1 billion shares. As part of that announcement, the assets were stated to be "over $12,000,000." At the time, the two numbers indicated that the book value was roughly $0.0029268 per share.
I believe (as the Company announced), a stock dividend paid (the record date being the staed June 10, 2009 date). NOT A SPLIT, forward or reverse! Iapplying the T+3 criteria, to receive the dividend, it was necessary to have bought the stock on or before last Friday, June 5. (Trade date + 3 business days = June 10,2009).
As a separtate matter, the Company announced having assets in excess of $12,000,000. That amount divided by 4.1 billion outstanding shares yields an "apparent book value" (loosely construed) to be roughy $0.00293 per share. As I post this, the EBOF trades occurring at $0.0003 are only 10% of that $0.00293 figure.
