Your Post is misleading because it implies that it's possible there actually was an Expectorate backlog which delayed the La Planada sample results while Shawn has retracted that story and apologized for it.
So it's totally and utterly irrelevant that you and the company you work for would mislead potential customers just to make sure their money doesn't go elsewhere. Not everybody operates business that way.
"You wrote,
"I'm not attacking you but the problem i see with your story is this....."
That's misleading because there is no problem with my DD. And I take issue with you calling it a "story". It is not a story. I reported verifiable facts.
If you called Seacove IR, Shawn should have told you something like this,
"Gemini and Seacove IR are no longer alleging that the results have been delayed due to a backlog at Expectorate".
...but you're still making it seem like there's a chance that the assay results were delayed due to an Expectorate backlog.
And that's misleading since not only have Expectorate denied that but Shawn has also denied it.
Despite whatever possible scenarios might exist in some irrelevant hypothetical example you may concoct, the fact remains that in this case, the sample results ARE DELAYED FOR SOME OTHER REASON.
And nobody is saying anything about that unfortunately.
Your post is completely misleading.
SHAWN ADMITTED THERE WAS NO BACKLOG.
He said that Gemini has backed off of that allegation. He apologized for it and wanted no confusion in that Gemini has switched their stance and is no longer blaming Expectorate for the delay.
Furthermore, I didn't talk to somebody in corporate or sales, I spoke to the Nevada division where the lab is actually located.
You won't quote Shawn because if you were to quote him, you would have to tell this board that Gemini via Shawn were telling shareholders there was a backlog and now they are not saying there is a backlog, rather they will apologize to you for saying that there was.
Now, I'm telling you straight up, if you and other posters want to continue this fight, I will be in touch with Expectorate again and inform them of what is being said about their business and I will let them know that their ability to turn around gold assay results in 10 days, something they take great pride in according to the person I spoke to at the lab headquarters in Nevada, is now being publicly challenged by one of their clients and the shareholders of that client.
FIRST BATCH ASSAY RESULTS DELAYED OVER ONE MONTH
What happened to the "first batch" of assay results? Never mind the final "100", Gemini promised the "first batch" would be available by August 9th, 2007. Let's look at the timeline.
The July 18, 2007 PR:
"MIAMI, FL--Jul 18, 2007 -- Gemini Explorations Inc, ("Gemini") (OTC BB:GXPI.OB - News) is pleased to report that Minera Primecap Geological Services (MPGS) has confirmed the phase two broad-based channel sampling is well underway and the first batch of deep channel samples have been shipped to the labs of INSPECTORATE AMERICA CORPORATION (Inspectorate), Nevada, USA for assaying."
The PR says the first batch was shipped as of July 18, 2007. Expectorate has a 10 day turn around for gold assay analysis. We know there is no "backlog". Shawn at Seacove IR and Gemini have backed off of that allegation. (Such statements, if proved false, may carry defamation liability.)
From the July 25, 2007 PR:
"The assay results of the 100 sample shipment should be available in the next 4 to 6 weeks. Gemini expects to receive assay results from the first batch of deep channel samples in the next 10-14 days and will release those results as soon as they are received."
According to this PR, the "first batch" of assay results were to be released as soon as they got them back, 10-14 days from July 25, no later than August 9th, 2007.
What happened to the "first batch"?
This is a big issue.
Yesterday, Gemini issued a PR stating that samples for the Los Chorros mine would be available in 10 days. There's a bait and switch if I've ever seen one. No update whatsoever on the La Planada samples.
The Los Chorros samples are fairly irrelevant. They know there's gold in there and they've already told us how much. It's already being mined. Los Chorros is supposed to be a financing vehicle for La Planada. It's LaPlanada that's supposed to be the cash cow.
So what happened to the "first batch" La Planada assay results?
And what happened to the second 100 La Planada assay results?
Expectorate has a 10 day turn around which any of you can DD by calling them.
So why the deception and why no results?
Draw your own conclusions. Do you own DD.
I won't be here much longer. In fact, as long as other posters don't try to throw BS on my DD, I won't have anything else to say about this. It's not my objective to bash this stock mercilessly.
I've said my peace both bad and good. The price may go up, who knows. But I've lost faith in Gemini. I have no reason to post on this company any longer unless what I've written is challenged by other posters.
As for Shawn at Seacove IR, I have no reason not to believe that, regarding the "backlog" deception, he was probably just passing on exactly what Mike Hill/Gemini told him to pass on. I could tell that he felt pretty bad about having passed on info that turned out to be completely untrue. And he apologized for it.
But nothing short of a public apology by Mike Hill will suffice.
If he expects people to believe in him and his company, he should meet his own deadlines and when he cannot, he should not make up lies which effect the business of other hardworking people and companies. I do not want to be a shareholder in any venture which condones such behavior or to be partners with other shareholders who allow this type of thing to go unchallenged.
out-
Did you ask Shawn why they fabricated a tale that Expectorate was late in delivering the samples due to an imaginary "backlog"?
I've seen two of you say you spoke to Shawn but neither of you has posted what he said about this issue.
If you're trying to enlighten people, tell them what he said and how he defended a bold faced lie which they backtracked on, apologized for and retracted. I think its wrong to come on here and make it seem like Gemini wasn't engaged in a knowing deception and then chuck this post forward as damage control for the messages I posted.
Neither of you who spoke to Shawn denied that what I said was true. You ought to hold people up to a standard of excellence and truth.
I stand by my posts. Gemini was willing to disparage the reputation of Expectorate in order to explain why they didn't have the samples as promised in the PR.
Shawn said, "I'm sorry about that. We shouldn't have said that." DIRECT QUOTE.
People should be leery of new posters and old posters and all posters...
Nothing I have written is esoteric info. I feel bad that I assumed what Sean told me the other day - about the drilling phase PR coming 30 days after the mining show - led to an implication that the trench results would be excellent. I have a moral obligation to correct the record.
But people can verify everything I stated as fact for themselves by calling the same people I called and asking the same questions.
"you have to admit though..... posters around here are always a little leery of new posters, especially when they post strongly positive or negative posts...."
The OTCadvisory is an advertisement.
Sean at Seacove IR denies they were behind the ad and claims to not know where the ad came from.
"The advertisement is provided by OTCAdvisory.com...
OTCAdvisory an electronic broadcaster and publisher of this release, and hereafter referred to as "the company." Operates a service on behalf of securities issuers, newsletter writers, publishers, companies (including publicly traded companies), investor relations persons, advertisers, stock promoters or other third parties (hereafter referred to as "publishers") that publish newsletters, press releases, articles, or other publications containing information about a company or the company's securities..."
You can read into that if you like, but you'd be better off just calling Seacove IR and asking them why they said Inspectorate was backlogged. Then come back and tell the board what Sean says.
Do you own DD. Everything I posted is verifiable by using a telephone. I suggest you dont believe a word of anything that I write and that advice goes for every post, PR and other DD you may find. Don't be lazy. The info is always available.
Im new to IHUB. The DD doesn't take long if you know how to do research. I've been in research for many years.
But really, do your own DD. Take nothing at face value, ESPECIALLY management of penny stocks.
I don't like to be toyed with.
I'm looking at other companies and Im specifically looking for management that does what it says, says what it means and doesn't mess about with the truth. In penny stocks you've always got such a small amount of information to go by and you must take risks, but calculated risks.
I choose not to risk my money when I have DD that makes me question the truth of management. It appears they told a lie. And when confronted they backed away from the "backlog" statement.
Inspectorate is also doing business and their word is currency to them and I don't think they would appreciate people saying there is a backlog when there is no backlog. Sean admitted that they should not have said there was a backlog at Inspectorate.
There may be gold in the Gemini mines, but I want to find a company with management I can trust and believe.
Gemini issued earlier PRs saying we'd have the samples by now. I don't like it when PRs aren't backed up. If they had the samples and the samples were excellent, Gemini would certainly want to unleash them before or during the mining show. But if the samples aren't good, they certainly would not want to release them before or during the mining show.
So now they're telling us no samples until after the mining show. I really don't like the way that feels.
I don't know what the samples will say, but I'm not sticking around to find out either.
Do you own DD. This is all my own opinion. I posted positive DD earlier in the week and I feel obligated to post this as well.
DD re: Inspectorate Lab and trench results.
Today I called Sean at Seacove IR and asked him why there are no trench result samples ready for La Planada, recognizing that yesterday's PR promised results for Los Chorros in 10 days, I wanted to know why the La Planada results weren't available.
Sean told me there was a backlog at the Inspectorate Labs.
I had read this on the board yesterday and had already spoke to Inspectorate in Nevada where the lab is yesterday. I asked them about a backlog yesterday and they assured me there was no backlog and that sample results for Gold are on a 10 day turn around. Inspectorate told me that anybody who says there is a "backlog" past their 10 day turn around is full of crap.
Before telling Sean about my conversation with Inspectorate, I asked him if Mike Hill had personally told him there was a backlog. Sean confirmed that Mike Hill told him exactly that.
I then told Sean about my call to Inspectorate and Sean asked me to call back in 15 minutes so he could call Gemini and ask them about all of this since Sean was just going by what Mike told him.
I called Sean back 20 minutes later. And I just got off the phone with Sean and he informed me that they are retracting their statement that there was a backlog at Inspectorate and that the company's position is now officially the following,
"Gemini has no sample results at this time."
I asked him why they were saying there was a backlog and Sean apologized for saying that and for the company having said that. I then asked him why they said it if it wasn't true. He did not answer the question.
I told him, since I had published very positive DD on the Ihub board the other day, that I was morally obligated to publish the new, negative DD today.
Please be aware that I have sold out of my position in GXPI today.
I gots to tell you, this action right her fun. SWVC is pulling a big rush on the trading community. Flippers, longs, shorts... it's an OTC BB clam dig baby. Volatility is what we're all lookin for. So everybody just keep singing your own tune, keep the swings alive and ride baby ride.
Bashers, pumpers, dumpers... everybody is in the SWVC arena for a ride.
"I like to move it move it!" ... classic.
Trading is like going to a rave. First you hear the beat off the highway, and then...
We can all make money.
This isn't your typical little penny, no. There's a real company here. They're bringing new stores on line. Management has a public track record, nothing toxic.
NOTHING TOXIC.
OK?
I don't see anything toxic. Now, it's true, we might not make fast money, nobody can say for sure, but we shouldnt lose our ass on this. The worst case scenario is this run is over and you just have to hold for the next wave. But there's going to be a next wave.
Traders only for a moment [ investors can skip to the next paragraph.] Traders, this late action after the close is a freakin serious damn alert. NITE and the gang are basically messing without minds now. We don't even get an official close?
MMs are loving this and don't want it to end.
WHO CAN ACTUALLY SAY WHERE WE CLOSED TODAY?
They disguised that number...Got everybody waxing down their surf boards. "We're on safari".
If you've done your DD...(if you haven't...then do it now, won't take but one all nighter to get the picture)...
YOU know how to play this to make money within your comfort zone.
Don't be greedy unless you can afford to be.
People will get fleeced, but that's their own fault. The information exists and so does the trend.
Be careful.
new freak stock jive for the masses
Tried to call the company but it's a stupid phone message with some guy, I suppose Larry... appears to be picking up the phone and then you start talking as if somebody is there and you get a beep. Not very reassuring. I don't like it when a person doesn't answer the phone.
Was calling to ask them what advertising agency they've hired for the alleged TV ad campaign. Usually, a PR on such advertising would have these details.
Also, looked at the revenues in EDGAR. Am I missing something or did they make only $5000 last quarter?
what news "today"? Did I miss something?
last sale .135, ask at .135
if we go past .14, I we might see a nice flurry of interest
I believe the trenching results are not delayed and that they will rock us.
Just my opinion, but like I said, Sean TOLD me they will be releasing a PR, 30 days after the mining show, concerning specific drill plans for La Planada. I don't see how they would be so confident in being able to put that forth on such a specific timeline if they didn't have the trench results.
I felt like Sean's choice of words in this regard was very good IR. He got this message out to me in response to my questions about the trench results. I posted that DD and I do not believe that the there is any delay with the lab doing the test results.
The delay is bullish as it gets them a few days closer to the mining show. The only way this would not be bullish is if there were no trenching results before the mining show.
But I do not believe this is the case. I believe Sean when he says "this week or next week" and I don't believe there is any delay other than a smart move by GXPI to build anticipation before the show and give shareholders a chance to accumulate more shares.
just my opinion, do you own DD.
"This week or next week"... according to Sean at Seacove.
The web site has been updated with latest PR.
Trench sample results... cant wait.
Long.
"I like to move it move it!"
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CHART is off the hook. (I Cant reply to your IMs)
I'm not the best chart analyst, but from what I can see, and from Dart's comments, that chart looks AWESOME!
I'm way more of a fundamentals guy, but when the charts and the fundamentals are in harmony... the words of Frank Sinatra come to mind, "RUN FOR COVER!"
If anybody wants to go into more detail about this chart, please do, the more interpretations the better.
where's the chart? thanks
Yeah, I think it's very bullish what's gone down today.
Classic MM bait and switch. They put in a 30K bid at .10 to freak the ASK (.13), then sell lots of 5K at the ask without bidding anything near it. They dropped to 25k at .10,bought more between .12 and .13... and now they've got 5k left and have raised it their "public" bid to .103, but that's just to keep appearances up.
I like the action today. They didn't want to start a run, but they know a run is coming.
Yesterday's PR should be added to the web page soon.
I caaled Seacove, let them know that the latest PR was missing from the Gemini web page. Dont read anything into it, thheir tech guy will fix it.
I also suggested they might want to give the shareholders a break by releasing new PRs on the web site just prior to the wire, it's done all the time. Publishing on the web site is after all is a public disclosure.
at 3:40 PM, more weird spreads
bid = .115
ask = .13
what is going on with that?
In sorry , it was 30K, not 300K, and they've dropped it to 25K now.
My eyes are killing me from looking at the screen
apologies for the typo
ARCA trying to buy 300K at .10, very interesting.
Is somebody trying to cover? That is a huge order for this stock right now, it will almost double volume for the day.
Ridiculous bid to ask spread
was just .1072 bid .135 ask !!!
something is really strange about this stock right now
it just feels like there is true fear over a possible nearby short squeeze point... is it possible they have been adding to their short position all the way down here?
if they have, this could get VERY interesting.
im just wildly speculating but this level 2 action is not normal at all.
Level 2 shows MM playing stupid games...
was doing nice at .135
then tiny sales at way below that which never showed up in the Level 2 "ask", all the while the ask was .135
there were sales for 1015 at .133
then 2500 at .125
5000 .125
5000 .12
590 at .12
590!!!
and none of those were showing in the ask which stayed between .133 and .135 until 20000 sale at .111 moved it down to .12
SBSH was in cahoots with NITE on this one, but until SBSH showed up everything was going well, even NITE appeared to be letting the natural pace do its thing
im telling you, Gold and Silver bullion and all the miners are getting this treatment....there is a strong fear of the metals at the institutional level...
that is a ridiculous trading pattern of manipulation
you go and try to buy 590 shares that far below the ask, see what happens.
this stock wants to run, the MMs are defending .135 right now. If we get to .14, watch out, could be a nice move. it's obvious the dark side are defending .135
and they are doing it with finesse. if they lose that level it will take more than 590 share sales to bring it back IMHO
update:
NITE just moved ask back to .133
Not to mention they work with some nice up and comers. The main asset Seacove has is their reputation...
a. for being honest
b. for working with good companies
there's no upside and only downside for them to pump erroneously and I have found their responses to be very measured. But people should certainly call and have their most important questions ready, then gage the response and hopefully repost back here.
I thought GXPI did well yesterday on the news running from .08 to .139, about 40% swing.
Looking for good consistent volume to start bull run from here.
Im with you on all that, Marich.
This isn't your typical BS penny stock exploration company.
I've seen enough of those to know that Gemini is for real.
Everybody really needs to do their own DD though, because it will be that base of informed Longs that really kick of the first leg up for this new bull. Im posting the DD NOT so others will take my word on it, but rather will be inspired to do their own DD which I know will lead them to the same conclusions I have made. Only by finding these things out for themselves, rather than just taking BB posts for granted, will they be confident enough to invest real money in Gemini.
Gold futures at $721. New dollar low.
The estimates we've read for Los Chorros were at $650 per ounce, so now we're approaching 750. Gotta love that.
Long and strong GXPI! Thanks for the props.
GO GXPI GO!
NEW GXPI DD FOR 09.12.07 (part 2):
RECAP OF PHONECALL WITH SCOTT PLUMMER OF RMS-ROSS
Yesterday at 6:26, EST, I spoke to Scott at RMS - ROSS in Chilliwack, B.C., Canada. RMS - ROSS is the mining equipment company mentioned in yesterday's Gemini press release. Scott told me they are very excited to be working closely with Gemini on both of the Columbian mines. He also told me that Terry from his firm (who I believe is also his brother) is the head engineer on the Gemini project and that Terry is also on Gemini's advisory board. Terry is out of town and wasn't available to talk, but Scott seemed very excited about the relationship with Gemini.
Scott told me that Terry has been down to Columbia 3 times and each time has come back astounded by the potential. "Terry couldn't believe the area hasn't been mined yet", "gold is all over the region" and "the area where the Gemini mines are located is going to be a new hot spot for gold mining." Scott said that other companies they are advising and supplying equipment to are also exploring the area, but Gemini's development is farther advanced than anyone else they are working with in Columbia at this time.
This was very encouraging. I felt that Scott was relaying a genuine sense of growing excitement within his company pertaining to Gemini's projects.
He also said that Terry mentioned the city and surrounding area near the site are quite beautiful and that there were no security issues. Terry told him it felt like a very safe suburban area.
As far as specific details concerning their plans for restructuring the Los Chorros mine, Scott would rather Terry answer those questions. Scott said Terry would be available when he returns from out of town.
Scott also said RMS-ROSS is working with other mining companies across Central and South America and with the bull market in precious metals, business is booming for them.
Gemini appears to have its stuff together, working with excellent experienced management and supurb contractors in the field as well as Seacove IR. This company has its proverbial s**t together. I am very freakin' excited to be a shareholder.

NEW GXPI DD FOR 09.12.07 (part 1):
RECAP OF PHONECALL WITH SEAN AT SEACOVE IR
COLUMBIA GOVT EQUIPMENT GRANT and MINE SECURITY:
Yesterday, at about 2:30 PM EST, I spoke with Sean at Seacove IR. As most of you know, Seacove handles investment relations for Gemini Exploration. The first thing we discussed was the nature of the equipment grant from the Government of Columbia to Gemini. The Government is taking steps such as described in the Gemini PR to help foster growth in mining since this area is being touted as the next mining hot spot which will lead to great employment opportunities for Columbians.
Sean wanted to stress that this was a "GRANT" not a "loan". Gemini doesn't have to pay anything back to the Government. The equipment is free and is being done to help stimulate the local economy via more jobs and the federal economoy via taxes on mine production. Hey, if you think about it, this is also great for security, as the Columbian Government is essentially, via its tax revenues, a partner with Gemini Exploration.
About security at the mines, Sean said that the Government has a vested interest in keeping the mining corporations safe to operate and that the equipment grant effectively showed the Columbian Govt to be putting their money where their mouth is. In other words, they will be protecting their tax investment.
Sean also said that besides public security, Govt/police etc, there is private security at the mines as well.
TRENCH SAMPLES, COLUMBIAN MINING SHOW and DRILLING PLANS:
Sean told me the trenching samples for the La Planada mine would be put into a PR "this week or next week". He also told me that they are excited about the Columbian Mining Conference/show at the end of September and that 30 days following that event, they would be issuing a PR on Gemini's plan for advancing to the drilling phase at La Planada.
Reading between the lines of Sean's statement, I think we can assume that the trenching samples must have been very strong, otherwise, why would they be giving me a direct timeline for issuing a PR pertaining to specific plans for drilling La Planada?
Think about it.
The mining conference is at the end of September, 30 days past that brings us to the end of October. They will issue a PR at the end of October detailing the plans for the drilling phase at La Planada. Without positive trenching samples, how could they be so ready to advance to the drilling stage?
MISC:
I also asked Sean if he knew anything about bigger mining companies sniffing around Gemini. Sean told me, "Nothing that the company will discuss at this time."
All of this comes directly from Sean At Seacove IR. The phone number is listed at the Gemini web site. Sean was very friendly and told me Seacove likes to hear from shareholders. So give him a call with your questions and please post the DD in this forum. I smelled excitement so kept the DD going with a phonecall to RMS-ROSS, the company mentioned by Gemini in their PR yesterday. Check my next post for that DD.
(continued in part 2)
GEMINI EXPLORATIONS, GXPI...nice move today.
Ken, what do you think of GXPI performance today? 21% up on good PR, free grant of equipment from Government of Columbia for Los Chorros mine...
Hello board. New to Ihub and Gemini. I bought in yesterday. Volume almost doubled today. When the press release hit the wire today, price dropped to .08 a new 52 week low, but I knew it was gonna bounce big time, all the way to .139, close at .134
I have some DD coming in the AM. Got to get away from the computer for a few hours, too tired to do anymore today. Will post before 9:30 am Some good stuff though. Am very excited about GXPI and will be buying more tomorrow regardless of price.
