I guess it depends on the ticker. I tried a few and it still was vary fast for me.
Oh, first part of your question - you didn't do anything - the site had to be rebooted today and it gets flaky right before that happens.
Can you give me an example of what you're searching for and what board?
Boards can be created with different colors at the time of creation or an admin can colorize them later. The colors don't signify anything in particular.
Click the number from your Favorites page. It will clear it.
Is this still a problem? I just did a board search and it was speedy for me.
Looks OK now?
Sorry, no good way to do that.
I'm sorry but I can't duplicate your results. I can set my account to the same level as your account, log in, see messages and post on the board in question. I see that you can post on other boards. There's nothing special about the one you're having problems with.
I'm not implying that I don't believe you, but I can't fix what I can't duplicate ;)
Have you tried a different browser? Let me know what happens.
Test post - please ignore.
What happens when you "click here to return to where you were"?
Nice. ;)
Unfortunately, having worked for several large corporations, you can't always depend on something like that being a giveaway that it's not legit. I've seen worse examples from 5th generation 'Mercans ;)
FINALLY someone appreciates my gruel. It's a secret recipe.
Yep, I'd say fake.
Probably not. Hard to definitely tell without seeing the actual message, but if you're in doubt at all, call your bank before clicking.
Easy enough - done. Any bets on how long it will take for someone to complain? ;)
Try clearing your cache on your browser.
Test...
The pickles do exactly that. And you're right - baloney soup was awful. My mom and sisters still remember it and give me crap about it almost 40 years later ;)
It pauses for 2 seconds then goes on now.
I eat peanut butter and dill pickle sandwiches. It was one of my childhood creations that turned out pretty good (baloney soup was a notable failure).
It's hard work to get someone to actually try a PBDP sandwich, but once they do they like it ;)
Fair enough. Done.
Oh and sorry about the TOU violation on your post - maybe Matt will realize it was testing... ;)
Certainly it would be possible, but the way it is gives feedback that something actually happened. People are funny that way.
Matt or Grub will make a judgment call on you, but just so someone else doesn't try to follow your ill-thought out example:
From the Terms of Use:

Anyone can send a PM to Matt, Grub, Bob or myself.
The hole is gone now.
What's your explanation for opening another account? I predict Grubmaster will be showing you one of our spacious cells in the iHub Jail.
Test...
Only edit.
I don't see them. Can you give me links?
I've kept your message for future reference.
The first suggestion is not workable now, but may be sometime in the future.
The second suggestion is very close to something we're kicking around internally.
I see your post showing up twice, I don't see anyone else's showing up three times. I assume you were referring to Svein? There are no duplicate or triplicate posts from him or her.
At this point, I'm more inclined to think there is something whacky going on with your PC rather than a problem with the board.
t-h-a-t
Better?
The innards of the ignore feature have changed a bit.
When reading normally (next, previous, etc) ignores will be honored.
When clicking on a direct link to a message, you'll see the post even if your ignore criteria would otherwise hide it from you.
When Favorites indicates a new post and it's a post that meets your criteria for being ignored, clicking the number in Favorites will take you to the first unignored post prior to the ignored post.
Same as every night, eh?
It is for Firefox, not for IE - I'll have it fixed shortly.
Try highlighting now. Should leave links and whatnot alone.
Apparently so. Try it now.
