the recent filing of the 2005 annual report clears another potential hurdle for getting on the otcbb and eventually the nasdaq. i think the current price of .015 is a low valuation if the comibol contract is signed.
the current business plan of the company appears to be a finalization of the comobol deal for the management of the silver mine in potosi and the building of a new processing plant at the facility. the wild card is that after the company is officially sanctioned by the new government, it may open up a]other exciting ventures in Bolivia including the oil and gas development.the point man at the shaw group for the gas plant proposal has left the company; however, once the first deal is done, there may be others iF NOT the Shaw Group thAT can partner with fmnj.the real exit strategy for the early shareholders like those on this board is whether there should be an exit strategy at this early stage before the real plan and possibilities for the company is known.of all the companies i have invested in this has been the most forthcoming as to what it hopes to accomplish.the head of the company jamie malgarejo appears to be a real honest hardworking executive tring hard to build a company using his ties to the fate of the current government and the average bolivian as a springboard to a successful business.we may be in on the ground floor of a major success story.

bought initially in oct 04 at 1.5 cents and was looking to see 5-10 cents at that time. the company seems to be developing a nice business plan. i am holding to see how it PANS out. good luck
good luck guys. no body ever went broke taking a profit. it seems me and the mart man are the few strong holders here. i guess the dizzying height of a penny plus is too much to expect.what ever happened tothe theory that you sell the losers and let your winners ride. i guess that doesn't apply to the pinks where runs are often confined to a few days.
I believe that those who were smart or lucky enough to get a big position under a half penny will reap bIG REWards if t5hey are not cauyght up in the emotionalism of this First move up. @When the comibol agreement is signed, the news will generate huge volume upwards of 200 milloion shares as people clamor to buy a 3-4 cent stock. Profit taking at the current level is ridiculous as the buyer at a penny plus can see a 5oo to a 1000 percent profit. RELAX GUYS!! Go on vacation if possible. FA as the originator of this bosrd you especaially have to calm down. We are only at the beginning of a major breakout. Please dont punk out now.
the w on the chart is pretty bullish. it would be a good time for the company to post audited financials to get the relisting process started. while otcbb is only slightly better than the pinks, it does give us a bit more credibility. as to the question whether one is comfortable, i like to respond that i make a living.lol
volume and price action confirms some big events coming out soon. a deal which the goverment of bolivia signs off on will be a huge coup.looking for a big volume day tomorrow with a possible gap opening. a penny for your thoughts.iman
volume and price movement will te3ll the tale. need to trade at least20 million shares today to confirm momentum.
lowest volume week in recent memory may be the calm before the storm. the competitor compaqny emis has made a big move. i hope it was frontrunnig the novartis progress and milestone to ugne for their oreal calcitonin phase3 development.if we are on the nasdaq by the summer we could easily see a nice 6-8 dollar marginable stock price with some big institutional holders. i am very bullish at this stock price level and recommendation initial or incresed purchase for those who do not have their final position. stock at 3.70 with strong support at 3-50 and resistance at 4 bucks. looking for a strong upside breakout soon
he pr guy fmnj hired to free up jaime to attend to corporate stuff and not ir is andrew austin tel.832-248-6211. not sure if he affects website.the company is doing a lot of self promotion of late and i believe that listing on otcbb would take the stock out of micopenny status. i hopeing for a big upmove soon.
welcome aboard silver-bars. good initial posts regarding mining stocks in general. you seem to have a good feel for the industry.i believe a whole new group of players will be investing in the company if the comibol contract is signed.appreciate your advice that pink sheet stock investing is usually treacherous.i agree. if jm can get the audit completedwe will hopfully be on the otcbb in the near future. if these two events occur can anyone give a reasonable evaluation as to what the fair market value of this stock can be.while the huge 1billion or so outsanding shares seem prohitive, the small current market cap appears to allow for significant upside multiples. i think that a 5-10 cent value would not be out if order.if the sgning orf the contract leads us to an opening of credibility with the government, maybe the gas procssing plant proposal can be revived. good luck to all.
Nitetrak- My technical analysis friends agree with your charting as the stock almost filled the gap and looks like it as completed a small head and shoulders formation. Your wife should appreciate your handling of her money and maybe will reward you with her own form of T and A for your excellent TA. She probably will also appreciate your bottom fishing. The only caution here is that we are close t moving below the 50 day moving average. As for me, I continue to take profits from time to time and add at times like these in the hopes it is only short term weakness and the long term trend is up. While TA is fun and may sometimes be a self fulfilling prophesy when obvious supprt levels are reached such as the 3.50 level here, there is nothing like some good old fashoioned fundamental news to move a stock to a different level. I have heard rumors that some nice news will be coming soon. Be prepared for a gap up and hope Mrs. Nitetrak doesn't get angry if you don't buy back here shares on time. Remember the power of women is that they control 50% of the wealth in the world and 100% of the vagina. Good luck to you and the little missus.
Interesting after hours release by the company on Bolivia prospects. Hopefully where there is smoke thre is fire and one or both of the projects will be fulfilled. As to the political change in Bolivia, I don't believe anyone can realistically guess how the government change will impact the company and its prospects. The wild card is if the Shaw Group is scared off by the political uncertainty. The new guy doesn't sound as crazy as I once thought. How novel to let a country contol its own resources from foreign ownership. Sarcasm guys. This seems to leave the door open for foreign investment in developing the oil and gas and metals potential of the country. The risk reward here for the company and investors buying in here at a fraction of a penny seems enormous. I may buy more here if I can convince myself that the reverse split will not cause the usual post split price decline. Hmmm.
Now that we have hit a new year, I believe the stock has entered a new phase of legitimacy. Relisting on nasdaq should occur as early a March and the stock should be comfortably above the $5 area to qualify for marginability. If earnigs come in at the .05 area for the 4th quarter (announcement probably in early March and the company remaoves its going concern caveat, large institutional trades can make the stocktake off. $10 price is not out of the question this year!
I can't open PDF file so I could't read December newsletter if it was written. Perhaps Jaime is awaiting the election tday in Bolivia. We need Quiroga to upset Morales, the left wing anti-american candidate, to have a good chance that Jaime can consummate the Shaw proposal for the natural gas processing facility. If the election is cose(less than 5% between the candidates) there is a good chance the legislature will choose Quiroga. According to todays NY Times, the winner will quickly move to nationalize the energy indusry and Quiroga is most likely to enlist foreign support eg.private US energy companies to move the poorest South American country. As an aside, if someone can summarize the November newsletter, I would appreciate it. Keep your hopes up for a Jorge Quiroga upset today.
I have been unable to access the November newsletter on the website. If someone can cut and paste he November and December (when it comes out) letters, I will appreciate it. The election results in Bolivia may have a major impact on the possible deal with the government controlled Oil and Gas company. If anyone has been in contat with management lately I would be interested in their take. This may turn out to be the poker hand where we all wished we went "all in". As for the ong term holders on this board, I encourage you guys to keep the faith. I took a big position in anoher stock 10 years ago and loaded up when it crashed to the 40 cent level. For years mage boapor an stockholders criticized management as the stock languihe but I contineud to hold and add as the fundamentals and the story was sound and intriging. Well this little biotech is now over $4 a share and people are applauding that same management. My faith and guts have been well rewarded and ironically managements ineptness permitted me to get a stock position I may never have been able to afford if I was right at the first investment juncture 10 years ago. You never know. I am now well able to afford taking chances and loading up on longshots. I am very impressed with the info and candor of the current ceo. All we need is to move the decimal point over a notch or two.
Consolidation this week between 4.40 hi and 3.90 low with a close at 4.25 is very strong technical confirmation.I expect the next move up to take the stock to the $5 level. This point is crucial before the stock becomes a tenager sometime in the next 12-18 months. Fundaentally I expect the stock to be listed on Nasdaq by March 15,2006. Then the stock will be marginable and can be bought by major institutions and funds. Hang on for a wild ride! Iman
You, sir, are so uninformed and ill-mannered that your comments can I can barely contain my angst and embarrassment for you. The poster gave you an example of a candid and informative CEO and all you can do is use a perjorative expression based upon your disappointment of the current stock price. My obvious advice to is to sell this investmentand move on to something you are more comfortable with.
Turning a $400 investment into a $6000 gain is certainly something to be proud about and I applaud your foresight and tenacity. This stock is unique in that it has a good hard core following of investors and posters who have lived through the ups and downs of the company for many years. They are now been amply rewarded for their faith, perserverance and finally luck. They are mostly a middle aged cadre of men( and I include myself in that group) who became very battle scarred while attempting to believe in a biotech company with a checkered history. Who knows? maybe you can turn that $6000 gain into a $600,000 in value portfolio. Its been done before!! Good night and good luck.
Pretty nifty chart as the stock closed at $4.25 today, a new high. The price still looks cheap to me as I expected this price on approval of fortical. If we get word of China approval and/or a pth milestone, there is a potential for a move to $6 short term. I now believe that a pe 30 multiple gives us a realistic shot at $15 by the end of 2006. Institutions seem to be starting to buy. While the BI Research recommendation was a big catalyst for the move to +$4, coverage by a major brokerage will make this move seem like small potatoes in retrospect.
FA- Do you know anything about the upcoming electons in Bolivia and how rthe results might affect the company's apparent good relatios in Bolivia? When is it and who do we, as shareholders, root for to win? Is there a stability and civil safety issue going on currently in the country? As I am considering buying more based on the action, I would appreciate any knowlegable posters information and opinion about our chances in Bolivia. Thanks Iman
Earning 9 cents a share for the first real profit in the company's history should make the Street sit up and take notice when stock opens for trading. Conference call may try to downplay as startup windfall for fortical but the smart money will realize this is a new company that is now on track to earn 40-50 cents for the next 3 quarters. I am giving this stock a $15 target within 6 months based upon a modest pe ratio of 30 times earnings. If China approval is completed within the next year that target may prove to be conservative. Booltah.
Checking the chart provided by Financial Advisor on the info page, I have noticed a curious increase in average daily stock volume this past month or so. I think someone is accumulating stock for a potential upward move in the near future. With gold hitting a 17 year high, I am somewhat surprised that the stock has not reacted better. Any encouraging news related to Shaw or positive developments in Bolivia may be a catalyst for some movement off this flatline level. If the Catalina project was divested, it may be that Jaime is cleaning up the operations to concentrate on better prospects. Good night and good luck.
Now that stock has consolidated to the low $3 level, I expect a breakout generated by the earnings announcement due in a few days. If this company shows real revenues the stock can take off to the $4 area near term. China approval and sales in 2007 will put the company on the map. I bought more yesterday in anticipation of the next event. Good night and good luck.
s I understnd the news, Jaime has been authorized to act as an agent between the Shaw group and the Bolivian oil and gas company to build a gas processing plant for 30 million to be put up by the Shaw group. If a memo of understanding is signed, my feeling (hope) is that he stock could run to 2 cents on the euporia.IT may keep the gaIn as it gives the company instant credibility and a presence as a trusted intermediary for US based companies that seek to do business in Bolivia. We should know soon as Jaime has stated that the proposal will be revisited with the Shaw offer in hand sometime in November.
The beautiful times have just started for this cmpany. With potential nasal caclcitonin sales annually of $20 million if they get their expected share of the Miacalcin market, this stock is undervalued using normal p/e multiples. If the company gets its phase 2 milestone payment around $10 million, we could easily see a $1-$1.50 move in the price. Once a stock hits the $5 target, it becomes legitamized, becomes marginable (after listing on Nasdaq) and is followed and eligible for investment by major institutions and big investors. I hope to see $7 in the near future.
Dear diary. Well another month has passed and ugne has now hit a new high of $3.54 a share. In approximately three weeks the company will file its 10q for the Sept 05 quarter and we will see revenues for Fortical , its nasal calcitonin product, which was approved midway thru the quarter. I expect the stock to run up to the mid $4 level prior to the announcement since I hear rumors that sales are going better than expected as people sithch from the more expensive and less pure form marketed by Novartis known as Miacalcin. After that, I am looking foward to upper price movement as the company approaches relisting on Nasdaq. Still olong and strong but I wll not be averse to taking some money off the table during the next run-up. It sure is lonely here at the top.
The company's association wit the Shaw group seems to be as a go between Shaw and the bolivia government gas company to build gas processing plants in Bolivia. It appears that Jaime is saying in his Friday release that he can now offer Bolivia a 300 miliion dollar investment via Shaw to build these plants. If Fmnj has the political clout with the new man in charge, this can be a major source of big revenue for the company. Jaime is going down to Bolivia at the end of this monthHope we can have a nice November surprise. I am considering further investment at these levels. The selloff on Friday, when the uninformed who panic bought based on an announcement they didn't understand, got bagged at the .0045-.0052 level, may turn out to be positivefor shareholders. At the very least, it got some attention and hopefully we wll remain IN PLAY with a much higher average volume before some actual good news gives the street reason to buy this pony. Definition of a long term capital gain: a short term trade that didn't work out. Hopefully the company's escapades in Bolivia will turn out better than Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
I think he picked up the shaw grp from the co's sept 2 newsletter . Frankdetroit post 934 advised to go to website and hit investors and then newsletters which is on the top. I found the aug icon but my computer could not get in. In any event I am hopeful they can close the deal with the Bolivians and the December election bring some stability to the government and the economy. Up to now we were working on a shoestring budget. Selling bars of gold to raise money is more like a mom and pop shop than a major corporation. I Shaw hope they show us the money. Will be interesting to see how the stock reacts today. A rise of 2mill would put us at half a penny. I've got sixpence to last me thru my life. Not a Jesse Livermore quote but I've never been a big liver fan. If we get lucky this investment can make me a high liver. If only Jaime can deliver.
Where's the play? If an association with a reputable oil firm such as the Shaw Group, at the very least, gives Fmnj credibility as well as some financial clout. Possibly they intend to use the relationships Jaime has developed in Bolivia to make a substantial investment. The current natural gas crisis certainly can't hurt. I expect this stock to move now based upon positive expectations.
Jessie was a great speculator and the approximate quote I remember was <be careful you don't lose your position> A very interesting book based on his acumen and failures is LeFebre's Confession of a stock market manipulator. It is hard to find but well worth a read if you are a stock market addict. Jessie profited by getting news early when communication was poor. He had a heads up on the San Fran earthquake and made a bundle on Union Pacific I seem to recall. Geting real news on Bolivia might put us in a similar situation since obviously this company can yield eormous percetage increases if the compay is real and can generate income. Nice to have you back.
The last news I can access in the company website was an update on Bolivia dated June7. Appreciate if you could summarize the Sept 5 update you reference. Does it give an hope in a foward looking statement. TIA
I expect a breakout to the upper $3 level in the neart future as the 3rd quarter is almost over. I hear that nasal calcitonin sales for the fortical drug is doing very well. If the company turns a profit, the stock soon will be a candidate for relisting on nasdaq.
I called the company yesterday and was put through to Jaime's voice mail. The recording stated that he would be out for 6 weeks and would return the end of May(obviously an old message) If somebody wll post the email address, I will write to see if we can get an update on the company. With gold approaching the $500 level, it would appear that the co's gold reserves have appreciated considerably along with the value in spending money to mine. If I get any encourgement, I believe that this can be worth a shot.
Starting to be concerned that the turmoil in Bolivia has totally disrupted production. With gold at a 17 year high and the stock hitting a new low yesterday it appears that we are in big trouble. Has there been any talk about nationalizing the maya project? Has anyone had any commumication with Jaime recently? Is this invesment as moribund as it appears? What up.
It sure has been quiet after JM promised that investors would be given more insight as to corporate developments. Does anyone have a handle on the Maya project in Bolivia. Why no recent updates or sec filings. The stock volume has dried up to a trickle.
At these fractional of a penny levels, it is insignificant to try to bid to buy stock on the bid or in between. An investment here is the equivalent of placing a bet on a crap table on a proposition bet. you will either win or lose all your money but the risk reward ratio is outstanding. I have now accumulated 5 million shares with the hope that the company and management is real. The danger is that there will be a substantial reverse split to get the company to a creible price. It is usually smarter to buy after the price drops when the split takes effect but since I am on a hot streak and can afford to take this as a total loss I feel why not go for it. If the company gets current eith ts sec filings and moves to the bulletin board, we can see a nice move. I think JM really cares fr the company and is a legitimate person. Time will tell.
Rawnoc and Nitetrak- I hope you are around for the ride. The $3 level has now been breached and I believe that we can see $5-$6 within 6 weeks if the nasal calcitonin earnings are there. Wait until the institutions come on board when the stock is listed on tne Nas.
The current price around 2.50 does not nearly reflect the fair value at this stage of the co's development. While approval of nasal calcitonin legitamizes the technology, it also permits all other events to possibly come to fruition. Cash flow will permit the company to continue R&D as well as starting up China sales. The $3.00 level will start a snowball effect as the company can then be listed on a more liquid exchange and not be subject to the vagaries of market maker manipuation. If you own enogh Mr. nitetrak you will be very wealthy soon.If you don't, I encourage you to buy more at these levels sinc it won't be here for long. Anyone of three ot for possible events should cause the price to move t the $4-5 level in a Vioxx heartbeat.
