I just re-read all of RLaR's posts...seems to be offering honest opinions. Good interaction on the tech with Rick for example.
Buzz's comments echo thoughts that are on many of our minds....thanks X and Rick for clarifying them with your opinions and expertise. That's the way this MB is supposed to work.
Just read the Nitro, Buzz, Six, Invet, Snez exchange...spit my drink out on my computer. Can we all promise to wear name tags at the LWLG celebration party with our IHUB aliases on them please?
Who, what, when?? Here are the IHUB LWLG message board?? No way...haha
From Lightwave Logic website.
Headquarters:
Lightwave Logic has been headquartered in Longmont, CO since January 2014. The executive management team is located in Lightwave Logic’s headquarters at 1831 Lefthand Circle in Longmont. Also stationed at the Company’s headquarters is the Company’s Vice President of Product Development, support staff and administration.
At this same location, the Company outfitted a separate optical testing laboratory and class 100 cleanroom that contain the precise measuring equipment and software necessary to calculate advanced optical measurements, and create prototypes for testing. The combination of an advanced synthetic laboratory along with a facility capable of conducting optical testing and developing prototype devices, enhances the Company’s commercialization efforts.
It's possible that since they haven't responded or addressed the timelines yet, they are nearing something important...remains to be seen. Scientists celebrate holidays too, don't they?
Great slogan Wise! "Let there be Light"
All on LWLG MB...I appreciate the efforts all of you make, researching and explaining various theories and opinions on this company. (Even the bickering and arguments we sometimes get into.) Let's have a great holiday season and hopefully a solid 2015.
The X bashing is getting old.
Thanks for taking the time to ask those questions of John Cohn and for sharing. Is he going to get back to you on the second question pertaining to LWLG?
Could Pyongyang be behind it? Are they abandoning Sony for LWLG?
Two new posters coming out of the woodwork...one yesterday and one today...one name referencing tech not delivered and the other basically meaning anonymous. They are very crafty these two...(or maybe they are one in the same) Very crafty indeed.
Hey Vap or Poo...see the rock...crawl back under it.
I'd rather it said "Star Trek-like longevity" but my guess is that in scientific speak, "acceptable" is fine because they exceed current industry standards. They seem to be trying different mixes in these prelim tests to see which work best. Baseline is very good. Further testing in progress.
Hey Richard...please comment anytime...the more the merrier...bits and pieces that may not mean much to you might spark something in one of us. Reds slacks=golfer?
Moving on up, to the East Side, to a deluxe apartment in the sky hi hi....here here SS!
Status on clean room? Eom
Thanks SS...Interesting...eom
Germanium sounds like a nasty metal/mineral.
Thanks SS....remembering those that have come before and all I am thankful for.
Well Proto you have a wishbone wish to use this Thursday...make it a good one! LWLG related...or World peace maybe.
To the Belgians....Happy belated Armistice Day!
Agreed Gates...and George great job...one of my favorite movies and great play on Pit's post.
Providing the tech is well tested and proven...i was thinking...
Buyout=short term $$ (sell and move on)
Partnership=short term SP gains/mid term SP steady increase
Go it alone=short term patience needed/long term maximum return
Not sure if my thinking is accurate or not but thanks for the opinions.
From a business standpoint, what would most of us prefer to see...
Buyout, lock, stock and barrel?
Joint venture/partnership with a big gun?
Go it alone, prove and sell the tech?
Thx KC...eom
One new post today but not showing up...I guess deleted
History smistory...Six you've been a Debbie downer on this since you sold a month ago...sounds like you'd like us all to divest our LWLG shares as well.
I'm excited about what I see in recent news about major player's interest in this industry and I wouldn't have very much interest in this board if Rick wasn't offering insight. Maybe that's me being naive but I enjoy all the opinions here. Now, how about you picking up some more shares and let's rock brother!
So Rick, Facebook plans to use a novel in-house data center fabric...IBM incorporates NVidia's NVLink and calls it enterprise level technology...INTEL uses in-house Knights Hill chip/light pulses and is competing with NVidia...
Please correct any of this, but it seems these guys are choosing sides and backing what they feel is the right approach. Question is, can LWLG's tech sweep in and augment all of the above??
I understand enterprise level technology to mean tech that is too large or complicated for individual or small business use.
My take is that if IBM is incorporating support for Nvidia's, NVLink in their next gen Power chips then it's a game changer that should be included going forward.
Purely a layman's thinking on my part.
Understood. Thx.eom
Thx Rick...Do you think LWLG tech, when proven, will augment or replace entirely current data center infrastructure?
Hi Rick. I read the Facebook link you posted...read but certainly didn't fully comprehend...would you say it's FB's effort at managing data center issues with a novel approach using current technology? But that LWLG tech would surpass and disrupt their approach?
10-Q out...eom
There's only one reason, in my mind, to revamp the website.
It's very positive.
Yeah Dent, comments like that are not given any credance, coming from a newcomer with no rep on the board....long time watcher, first time poster doesn't cut it either. Explain yourself logically and in good faith or disappear please.
I'm not sure investing in a developmental stage company is a good investment strategy in the first place. At least a much larger percentage of your portfolio should be with lower risk investments. Everyone has their own reasons for investing in a developmental stage company. Ideally we want to buy shortly before they become commercial and all the hard work and waiting is over. Depends how long you can wait. During that wait, connecting what we believe are dots is what keeps our interest and spirits up.
I would suggest investing what you can afford to lose or waiting on the sidelines, ready to pounce, until a major announcement is made.
I have no idea if they are collaborating or not. Rick would be able to give a more educated guess. Seems at least some crossover in approaches and personnel, right?
EOM only works when your post ends within the subject line...meant to keep you guys from clicking needlessly.
Sounds good Wise..eom
If I may...
