Those are likely high estimates considering the PR was misleading. Cisco is not actually partnering in the general sense of the term, but rather just providing digital entries for doors and combining this with their network. Pretty simple stuff however Identiv does do this well, but this won't lead to significant revenue gains. The market now knows this and the pps is back to below 10. Now that said, the potential is still there for a buyout, but now somewhere in the range of 14-17.
Interesting day today. Highest volume day since September. Huge volume to bring it down to 9 then painted it back up end of day.
I'd have no problem not buying more in the 20s if it didn't get there as I am already in.
Can't get to 60s without 40s first and things look for 60s longer term, that's for sure. In the meantime, I will wait for my chance to buy more in the 20s.
Where does this land?
Been following this stock for several months, recently bought in ~40, but it appears 20s is likely. Knowing that though, I look for another pop into the 60s in the next couple months.
New to this stock, seems like a good company that has been growing and continues to grow, but does not get enough exposure. Has there been any talk about getting off the pink and into the QX or QB? Or, given enough growth and considering ~160m shares outstanding, reverse split and into the Nasdaq? Seems this would give them much more exposure and lead to greater increases in the pps.
My question was more directed at how could Shuster leaving be considered a good thing?
And since you brought it up- no, the pps drop isn't 100% due to Shuster leaving. I would say it's more about the poor Q1 results combined with the company not meeting expectations. Shuster leaving was just further confirmation that things aren't good, unless someone can state otherwise.
Could someone explain how this could be considered good news?
Indeed, they failed to achieve what they said they would achieve last year with no profit and revenues down significantly, so my trust in management is all but gone. My original plan is intact though, to still remain in this until the end of the year since the potential is still there for this to go to 50 cents or better with a breakthrough. However if things continue down this path, this could very easily drop to the sub penny range, especially given what happen last fall.
Nice to see the end of day price at 23 cents.
Good to see someone bit at that ask. Hopefully a sign of good things to come.
Turned out to be quite a bit of volume today and a lot on the buy side, including me.
Q1 report should be coming up here next week?
You have previously said a couple times that there is a large buyer of this stock. Is this any different from those previous times and if so, how is it different?
Also, do you believe they are still on track to report positive earnings for Q1 this year?
Thoughts on earnings and PR?
Lower revenue than expected but future seems bright.
Word is they might be bought out.
It seems like the drop is positioning for a potential buyout in the upper teens, near 20.
Highest the ask has been at since the summer.
Maybe it will hold this time.
This held up much better than I figured.
That said, trying to be optimistic, which is one of the most difficult things to do with this stock- is there any chance at all that they switch to only reporting on a yearly basis, starting with this year?
Which is disappointing since if they were actually reporting, even if they weren't making any money, a pump might actually lead to something more sustained.
Cool...another pump and dump...
This thing has already hit its high of the day and will drop from here. Same thing has happened several times in the couple years as it's the only time it ever goes up. As with the other pump and dumps, it always lands somewhere lower than it started. So the question is, where will it end up next week? I'm thinking somewhere in the .0005 (Trips!) to .001.
Whenever I see that someone has bought this, I have to believe they've done no DD whatsoever. Sad really.
Large volume today kind of out of nowhere...
October has arrived- 9 months since anything from the company. Giving them another another 3 months before cutting my losses.
Agreed about nothing being wrong with the company. Wish I had funds available to buy more currently as I get the feeling I will get my wish to buy more at 5-7 cents, but will have to wait about 2 weeks as I didn't think it would drop so quick. Musick selling might just be the gift for all of us to buy more before the real upward trend!
Yep, appears to be headed back to the single pennies again. I started my position around 15 and plan to add more if it gets in the 5-7 range again. Seems like a no brainer if you trust what management has to say, i.e profitable within a year with revenues increasing each quarter by %400. So far in my limited experience, they have done what they said they would, so we'll see if that holds up. I don't plan on selling until 2016 either way, unless it hits 1.00 before that.
Great report as expected, albeit nothing new that I could see. Hopefully this is only the beginning of the uptrend in revenue that should occur in future reports, which should go along with a pps increase as well.
Hopefully the q3 report will be out within a week. Looking at the Aug 12 PR and doing some hopefully correct math, last year's first three quarters had revenue of 27000, so a 4-fold increase would be 108000. So far this year for two quarters, the revenue has been 28000, so I'd have to assume q3 revenue to be around 80000.
Also stated in the Aug 12 PR that the coming quarters should continue the 4-fold increase in revenues. If this turns out to be true, VODG would be a 1m company next year.
Bought in after the announcement this past week, seems like this company has potential. If they manage to achieve profitability by early next year and continue to increase revenue, this could be closing in on $1 by spring/summer.
Something tells me though that Weiss doesn't do much with CHRI any longer, but it's good to know the company is likely still in business however bad for us since it's so dead. PPBL will be an interesting watch next week after their RS. I'd have no issues with that occurring here too, at least it would be some signs of life.
I don't think CHRI being profitable again (maybe still profitable, maybe not, who knows?) has anything to do with it since they were only losing money for 3 or 4 quarters and prior to that they still reported regularly, even when bringing in pretty good profits too.
The CEO no longer being there is an interesting find though and might have something to do with it.
Let us know what you find out, if anything. While this was a total gamble stock, still odd for them to just disappear, but then again maybe not for a Chinese company. Still probably won't cut my losses till closer to the end of the year though, considering I've waited this long for them to report.
Big dump today. Bound to happen not reporting all year. Been in this stock for almost two years and considering cutting my losses myself. It's a shame as they had always reported regularly. Makes you wonder if they even exist anymore as it sure appears that they don't.
Does anyone know why there hasn't been an E added to the symbol like what has previously occurred? I have to assume they are no longer under the rules of the OTCBB?
