Here's a press release from Kens which states "Exclusive" rights in the DR for on-line casino:
http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/dominican-republic-grants-exclusive-live-casino-broadcasts-to-kenilworth-systems-corporation-and-caribbean-casino-and-gaming-corp-78853212.html
Kenilworth, pursuant to an exclusive Test Simulcast Agreement with the Dominican Republic Government and their casino Regulators extending over six (6) months (the test period), will begin global simulcast online (Internet) broadcasts from a Roulette table located in the Sosua Grand Casino that held its grand opening on October 24, 2009. The casino is now the centerpiece in the Sosua Bay Resort at Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, the largest and most populated Caribbean Nation.
Please read this:http://www.dominicanrepublicpage.com/Free_Zone_Information.html
It will explain about tax breaks in the DR including on-line casino's. Hope this answer's some questions.
"Going private" is the process by which a public company ceases to be a public company. Rules of the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") permit a company to de-register its securities and thereby "go private" when it has fewer than 300 stockholders of record. I think CGAQ has more than 300 stock holders of record.
A quote from the US State Department:
The dangers present in the Dominican Republic are similar to those of many major U.S. cities. Criminals can be dangerous -- many have weapons and are likely to use them if they meet resistance. Visitors walking the streets should always be aware of their surroundings. Be wary of strangers, especially those who seek you out at celebrations or nightspots. Travel with a partner or in a group if possible.
Sorry for the typo, even if we adjust the figures, CGAQ looks good!
We find this in any area where tourists go to, in the States, Caribbean, and Europe - all over the world!. Try and tell me a high tourist area were there is no crime?
A question was presented today about how many people on vacation will go to the new casino? Will it pass the Susoa Casino in revenue? I myself bring extra money to a resort with a casino, and yes not everyone gambles. We can say at least 1/4 of the 860 rooms will bring some extra cash to spend in the casino, lets say a $200.00 limit per day, on a 5 day stay, 210 rooms x $200 x 5 days equals $210,000 per 5 days x 6 (30 days)= 1.2 Milllion dollar possibility in gross profit, if everyone looses. Even if the casino has to give back to winners $200,000 a month, we are still talking close to 1 million a month gross. Without the other 3/4 of the hotel not dropping a dime in the casino. This does not include the drinks, food in the casino, disco, shows, boxing events, special events, locals, other visitors from other hotels and lets not forget the yachts! JMHO
Quote from press release:
The Luperon Marina Resort, considered the most desirable marina on the North Coast Waterfront of the Dominican Republic, is stationed along a tranquil bay that hosts nearly a 100 yachts. Numerous residents live aboard these yachts while the marina has become a fantastic transient destination for sea going vessels.
CEO Steven Swank stated, "This is a gold mine for CGAQ as the overhead expense and investment are minimal compared to the Sosua Bay location and includes a captive audience in a remote waterfront location."
The hotel features 860 rooms that have been reserved at 100% occupancy until Easter 2011 and is expected to produce 1500 - 2000 visitors per day. The location includes the Galactic Night Club and is the only casino and nightclub within a 40 mile drive. (We all know that the hotel is booked past August 2011)
Mr. Swank continued, "Our conservative preliminary revenue estimates initially expected to equal or exceed the Sosua Bay location which made it an obvious acquisition, however taking into consideration the final costs and economies of scale, we expect the revenues from the Luperon location to far exceed that of the Sosua Bay location. Further, it continues to increase the book value of our company."
Half full or Half empty? I used to barter in my business, some of you might have in yours, same thing used with CGAQ shares, common pratice when you don't want to give up cold cash... about the numbers, here's an article from Casino Gambling web about Las Vegas casino's, they took a 4.9% loss in July 2010! What the heck do I need to look at the amount of profit in this penny stock and nit-pick at it with a fine tooth comb? Why all the talk about the numbers and how they spent it, we can't control it, we must rely on Mr. Swank's game plan,we must have faith in it! CGAQ is not a DOW 500 stock. It's very simple in penny land, we gamble, we pray, we stay or take a loss. Look at the bigger picture, within their 1st year, this baby went from birth, price went high, it was everyone's gleam in their eyes, we all picked it up, smiling, feeding it our cash presents with great thoughts of it's future, a college fund, then we had to feed it... cash, gleam dims as we find out how much we need to keep this baby alive, we cry, ball and yell at each other like married couples confused at the amount of money it takes to raise a child, not noticing how we are scaring others who's never seen the baby before. Now this baby is starting back on the floor crawling, I expect it will be walking by the end of this year, yes we need to feed it some more, after all we have one more on the way! an we all hope all 3 kids are running by mid 2011, besides, after all, the children could help support my retirement, like all good children should. As long as CGAQ is still in business and striving to make more profits for all, I think I'll stick around and hold, 2nd casino in better location with more rooms in a hotel booked past August 2011. JMHO.

Thank you for your kind comments. I hope by giving out my DD information can be helpful for others to form their own opinion about this company. I feel that the internet provides us with enough info to fill voids that we have missing from corp. news. It can show us locations, population and most of all pictures. Now, right now is the time to expand, stats prove that just in the amount of tourists that have visited this island alone, close to 3 million tourists visited Dom. Rep just alone this year and its not over yet. (See chart below) Dom. Rep. is the Most Visited Island in the Caribbean now. Passing the Bahamas, Aruba and Purto Rico with their many casinos. So JMHO I think the time is ripe to expand. The Dom. Rep. goverment is pulling the largest amount of new construction dollars in the caribbean and giving tax incentives up to 5 years for foreign owned business. This new casino has to the showcase casino, the "Golden Goose" not only to impress the tourists, but to show Hotasa CGAQ can go into the other properties without casinos. Again JMHO
This site will show the visitors stats:
http://www.onecaribbean.org/content/files/Oct26Lattab10.pdf
I agree... I only have 1 gripe with CGAQ...Their wesite needs help! There is no current news or any photo's of the construction phase on casino 2, this would be a catalyst for more stock buying and quiet the negitive remarks about building and putting out the money for the 2nd casino. It also need a stock ticker showing current up to date quotes. Mr. Swank... Pease get it current.
Gee I think they are telling you how it is on this board, If you had shares here you would see a different picture forming, some of the longs can see a future here and are not pulling up their stakes. If you don't like this casino, pick up your chips and cash out.
I thought that Flipper went off the air in the 60's, but something about your messages reminds me of him hmmmmm something fishy here.
Right you are! Here's another construction project with actual photo's http://www.marinatropical.com/English/latest_pictures.html
It's the $90 million Tropical Luperon Marina. I could go on with finding more, but it seems that a great deal of money is pouring into Luperon. Bigger marina, bigger boats and more customers with cash!!!BINGO!!
Your right, I did not think an upward movement this quickly would happen, but after the news broke for the Luperon casino location I did some investigation, there is a current project for a 1.5 Billion dollar mega marina and resort area in Punta Alma area which is very close to the casino! Please see this site for some info. http://www.legacyirp.com/properties.php (click on Puerto Luperon box on map) I don't know how long this project will take, but it seems world class, it would be nice to have a world class casino sitting very close to it, plus the Hotasa guests and the other hotels in the area, "BINGO!!" Nice vision Mr.Swank!(JMHO)
Sometimes you have to sit back and do DD on a stock, look at its quest to grow, anybody can dump money into a pool of pennies and not care where the he** your putting your money into. I played that game, most of the times you loose unless you are willing to put 2K or more into many high risk pennies, banking on good news to come out and finding when it comes out, how long do you hold before you cut & run, most go into the crapper. This stock however has staying power. So you got into a double your money stock today, good for you!, but how many did you loose on today? (JMHO)
It is a combo of European vacationer’s and US tourists , In the 15 nations of the European Union, by law all full-time employees must be given a minimum of four weeks’ paid vacation per year; the same is true for part-time employees who have worked for at least 13 weeks. The notion of “accruing” vacation time doesn’t apply; you are generally entitled to your four (or more) weeks of vacation from the moment you’re hired. And these vacation days are in addition to statutory holidays scattered throughout the year. While most US tourists spend 7-9 days on vacation in one place, most Europeans spend 14 or greater, thus most "Hot Spot" areas like Luperon Beach fill up fast with extended stays. We sometimes look at this venture only as a US attraction, not true, Germany was the world leader in 2009 for the most tourist dollars spent, 81 Billion, US second with 73 Billion, but if we factor United Kingdom 3rd at 50 billion and 5 other Europe nations, it becomes trillions of Euro’s spent on vacation. We must look at the global picture where CGAQ money base will be coming from, most likely from Europe, where the Euro is worth more than US dollar and they get more value for their dollar when visiting the Caribbean, more value for the Euro, more spending in casinos!. (JMHO)
I will agree with you up to a point. With CGAQ's built-in captive customer base at Hotasa's Luperon Beach Resort with 662 rooms, lets say 330 guests have a $200.00 betting limit per night, 330x$200=$66,000 per night or over 24 million a year, (Personally I think this will pass double the take from the Sosua casino, the population of Sosua is around 12,000 and Puerto Plata is around 230,000, this doesn’t include locals or other people coming from other hotels in the area with no casino's.(King Solomon's 386 rooms adjacent to Hotasa) Hotasa is booked solid through June 2011 and it makes me believe this move is golden. If you build any business around a good customer base and run them respectively and honest any company will succeed. Sometimes building them fast, newer and in the correct locations, chokes out the competition. (JMHO)
Great post.. close to retirement myself. There is only 1 casino in Puerto Plata that will give CGAQ competition,Ocean World Casino, most of the others have 20 or less machines. My guess is that the Hotasa casino would put the smaller casinos at risk since people who can't find a machine at the smaller one will go to the larger ones and spend cash with more updated machines, clubs and shows. I tried to book a room at Hotasa for the week of 22 to 28 May and they are booked solid! I thought this was a good time to see the operation in full swing. Look at the built in customer base!(MHO). I think you will catch up to your investment an get into the green, but like you said it is a long term investment.
This is a brick and mortar company, Casinos take in CASH CASH and more CASH,there is no warehouse for product, no fleet of trucks, no postage to mail out your product, no drilling for oil hoping to hit the big one, no gold veins to find,no finding the missing DNA cure, not producing a crop (except a cash crop)not having to import their product and hope it sells. Please, show me where any company on any stock market that will not use their common stock to fund their progress? Look how long it took to build the casino in your area, my guess... not overnight. This stock will rise again.(MHO)
Kenilworth has formed two new subsidiaries, they are doing this because they now have too many eggs in their basket and low funding. I think both of these stocks, CGAQ & KENS are betting on, no pun intended, the figures from the "Live" casino profits to come out to woo new funding and investors. Lets all realize that Nueva Rumasa S.A. owners of Hotasa hotel group is no small company, it is not cash poor and has a large investment group, check them out. If everything goes to plan with the casino, I would think they would look deeper at the consepts and possibly help fund both companies.JMHO
I agree. They must draw money from the pool, if not there will be alot of loans with interest to pay. Do you think Mr. Swank pulls it out of thin air? Here's an ad from a casino for sale in D.R. look at the asking price, it's about the same size as Sosua, so where do some of you think this type of capital is raised, that's why you invested.

Internet gambling and betting law in Florida
Before going on to consider in more detail the situation regarding the sort of betting activities you can enjoy on a night-out in Florida - you might be interested to know what the situation is in Florida regarding internet gambling and playing online casino games like poker, roulette and blackjack. Please be aware that, when reading this, don’t forget that the Federal Wire act of 1961 could be applied to online gambling in Florida. Otherwise, Florida actually currently enjoys a fairly relaxed attitude towards internet gambling. Basically in the US states are divided into those that have passed laws to expressly prohibit placing online bets and those that, to date, haven’t. As you might have guessed from the lead up to this - at present Florida state law does not expressly prohibit internet gambling and betting, so playing online casino games would appear to be quite legal here.
Chance, skill and betting law in Florida
Across the United States determining if a game is one of chance or skill is often used to determine whether or not betting on the outcome of a game will be legally allowed. Where the outcome of a game is merely deemed to be down to chance the likelihood of betting on it being allowed is very small indeed, whereas betting on a game of skill may well be allowed. To illustrate this point the outcome of a horse race will be affected by the skill of a jockey - but most states will assert that a game of poker is mere chance, dependant of the cards randomly dealt and not considering any skill on behalf of the player in deciding what to do with those cards. So, a game of chance is likely to violate state gambling laws but a game of skill is not likely to; to determine if a game is one of chance or skill the ‘dominant factor test’ is applied. Florida is one of only seven that doesn’t apply that test when determining if betting on a game can be allowed. Whether this is a good or bad thing for gamblers in Florida is difficult to assess, but it would certainly account for the difficulty in locating a roulette table in the state! Of course an irony here is that Florida does allow lottery gambling. So, if you live in Florida and want to play some casino games like roulette, your only recourse might well be to play online roulette.
Dutch auctions are used to fund a company to go IPO:
If a company is using a Dutch auction IPO, potential investors enter their bids for the number of shares they want to purchase as well as the price they are willing to pay. For example, an investor may place a bid for 100 shares at $100 while another investor offers $95 for 500 shares.
Once all the bids are submitted, the allotted placement is assigned to the bidders from the highest bids down, until all of the allotted shares are assigned. However, the price that each bidder pays is based on the lowest price of all the allotted bidders, or essentially the last successful bid. Therefore, even if you bid $100 for your 1,000 shares, if the last successful bid is $80, you will only have to pay $80 for your 1,000 shares.
The U.S. Treasury (and other countries) uses a Dutch auction to sell securities. The Dutch auction also provides an alternative bidding process to IPO pricing. When Google launched its public offering, it relied on a Dutch auction to earn a fair price.
JMHO
We all hope so.... Kens.pk put out a nice press release today. As you know CGAQ uses their system for "live" roulette
All I see is that we have about 4 states that want internet gambling, Florida and New Jersey are the closest to amend their internet rules. The only rub I see here is that each state requires from $200,000 to $500,000 cash, not a bond. That’s a big chunk of cash to put out right now, and if UIGEA is defeated, CGAQ would have to contend with the pay-up cash in 50 states. I think JMHO if UIGEA is defeated, the feds will tax each state from their revenues and leave it up to the States to collect their fees and taxes from the provider sites, how else would this work if each state wants a piece of the action?
I will do my DD on Florida and I know that our governor who is running for the senate, an Independent, Charlie Crist pro casino man who gave Las- Vages slots and Black Jack to the American Indians and our racino's.
Just another follow-up on some press release doubters out there, Fibre-optic cable article from a Sosua newspaper:
All news about Sosua can be found here:http://www.drsol.info/drsol-external-link.php?link=http://www.sosuanews.com
8 December 2009
Fibre-optic cable reaches SosúaThe main road from Cabarete to Sosúa is currently being dug up along the sides, to allow a new fibre-optic cable to be laid, which should give us all far better telephone and Internet connections. The company Codetel-Claro is carrying out this work, replacing old copper cables with new fibre-optic alternatives. This new cable is therefore no longer mounted on tall poles, but is buried underground. The new telephone and Internet connections should result in fewer technical problems and much faster speeds. Internet connections, in particular, should be MUCH faster! This is something that residents and tourists alike have been complaining about for some time now. Another advantage is that the cable is no longer a target for metal thieves. Up to now the old copper telephone cables were often stolen.
Fibre-optic cable reaches Sosúa
The kilo price for copper is so high at the moment that thieves will take all kinds of risks in order to steal it. But there is no money to be made in fibre-optic cable, so hopefully all our problems will be resolved by this new cable.
They pay lobbyists to grind out their message to congress and senators.
BTW I have a photo from Google Earth of a pole very near the Sosua casino I think you can see an optic amp, could be wrong, and it would be nice if CGAQ would take pictures of what they did during construction:
http://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/static.panoramio.com/photos/original/10481632.jpg
Another artical states:"Harrah's Entertainment is one of the gaming company's based out of Las Vegas that has openly endorsed online gambling. The company has launched online casinos in jurisdictions of the world where online gambling is regulated, and Harrah's is prepared if and when the laws should change in the US".Kens & CGAQ have the "live" rights in the US. Harrah's entertainment could be a big boost to CGAQ either way.Someone at CGAQ should start talks with them.JMHO
Here's the lastest news from CGAQ home state:
http://www.casinogamblingweb.com/gambling-news/gambling-law/legislation_filed_to_regulate_online_gambling_in_florida_53940.html
Does it really matter if we lease or buyout a property? If you have a good product and set goals, act aggressive when the opportunity is presented to you and look forward to improving your business plan as you grow, you will make a profit. This company is just 1 year old! Look at what they accomplished! I’m really surprised that so many negatives came out here and I’m confused that many of you are not rallying around the company when they accomplish a big step. Yep you’re “darn tootin” that this stock will have its ups and a lot of down days but if YOU believe that the company is spending your money wisely stay in for the long haul, it's your option, nobody here is forcing you to keep your hand, so maybe look at your cards, keep them or fold, The pinkies are the world’s largest internet casino and you can move from table to table at will.
Anyone know which type roulette wheel they use, U.S. or European?
It makes a big difference with house odds and attraction from the Non-U.S. players who can play live on line. Most European players shy away from wheels with 00, because the house advantage goes up from 2.7 on single 0 to 5.25 on 00. I would like to see a large audience from the Europeans players and lower house odds than chasing them away from a game they won’t play as much.
Thank you, I don’t think this is much of a crapshoot stock like most oil and gold penny stocks and yes I would like it to shoot 1000%. I think we have to look at most of the positives here, unlike an oil or gold stock, there is an existing resort and 3 casinos that all will be up and running by the end of November per PR news. They made inroads with ESPN for fights, not an easy task, they must have a good facility, I don’t think that ESPN would broadcast from a “run of the mill facility”, and they sold out the tickets and had to relocate to a stadium, talk about locals supporting sports in that area. We can talk about the Live gambling broadcasts forever, it has to prove itself in reliability and not so much getting the people to gamble, if its not reliable, they will seek other sources to gamble, I hope, just like you all, that its reliable for a great period of time. We all know that online gambling is estimated above 10 billion a year and I hope this takes off to grab a big chunk out of that pie.JMHO
I'm new here, but I have followed KENS for over the past 5 years and even held some stock at one point. I don't know how many of you have traveled the Caribbean islands, but most of the casinos are small. Even in Aruba with over 12 casinos, they are smaller than most ballrooms in a major Vegas casino. I see the potential in owning 3 casinos when you have a location “Locked Up” with a newspaper and radio station. The hotel is 4 stars, not an easy accomplishment.
“Live” on line gambling will hit like a hurricane in the Caribbean and the rest of the world and I see in the future, JMHO, a larger casino group possibly buying in, and why not, they have the technology rights in over 50 countries, not too shabby. I have dabbled in many penny stocks, and lets be honest, unless you think that things happen overnight and you will become a millionaire, well I had that dream once, and learned that the penny stocks operate like a casino, the stocks are the house and you are the better, most of the times you loose, but one day you may hit the jackpot. I have researched and did my DD and decided to put some chips on the table.
To find out about the sour crude market, please read the following:http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/saudi-aramco-switches-to-argus-sour-crude-index-for-us-deliveries-66952527.html
Crude-Dude,
Downtown Humble is located on a salt dome and most of the petroleum production is shallow and encircles the city by about a 2.5 mile radius.
I agree that this is an open forum, but one could privately sue you for a libel act, there is no "Blanket Coverage", by any company or person for libel acts. Newspapers go through this everyday, internet postings are the same, they use this statement, and I quote: "Messages posted by individuals may be misleading, deceptive, or in error. If you disagree with a posting, feel free to voice your opinion . It is the policy of iHub to allow our members to freely discuss issues in a free and open manner, and we will not take sides in disagreements or disputes involving our members,(side bar, this does not cover you as far as libel statements, big word here is member, it does not mention outside the member group) so don't try to bribe us. We do however want the conversations to stay civil, on topic, and insightful . They will be placed on a special archive for reference purposes. You may disagree about a topic or issue, but stay objective and do not turn it into a personality battle".
The other statement in iHUB policy is and I quote: The rules of the road are fairly simple in principle. Conduct yourself generally as you would at a gathering where polite people might attend. Watch your language. Avoid rudeness and flame wars. Stay on topic and stick to posts relevant to the board on which you are participating. Otherwise, behave legally, morally and ethically. This statement in my opinion was to cover iHub against any libel acts from their members.
Again, I'm not a lawyer, but it's my opinion that everyone who posts information that pinpoints any person or company by name, uses false information which can not be proven as truth, is libel. Just somthing to think about when anybody writes any statement and not an "opinion"
I agree with you on your anger about the Pump & Dump, but you should take in consideration about the words slander & libel. In today's world, even if you type words of anger about a person, without their prior knowledge or consent, without reliable proof, yes even on a message board, its considered a libel act against the person you a writing about. That person can request through a lawyer for Investorshub to give up your information, thus slapping you with a lawsuit. Be very careful about your opinions, make sure you use the phrase that "It's your opinion", do not use your statements as facts without factual proof, articals published, recorded meetings or anything that can be backed up by reliable sources that will "backup" your statements. I quote from Wikipedia, "If it is published in more durable form, for example in written words, film, compact disc (CD), DVD, blogging and the like, then it is considered libel. Remember if you put out a statement, not backed by proof, it's libel, if you put out your honest opinion, its not. Thus I will say I'm not a lawyer and my statement to you is just my honest opinion.

I'm stuck here like everyone else, but I do know what needs to happen to drill a well and I know these costs need to come from shareholders pockets. I do not praise anything that is happening with this company, yet I do feel that somthing positive will happen IMHO. LGL8084 there is no connections with Joseph A. "Socks" Lanza racketeer and a member of the Genovese crime family, he died a long time ago,October 11, 1968,so don't use this as an example, not true. This Lanza is crude, manipulating and calculating, and I don't give him the credit what "SOCKS" acomplished as a member of the mob.
Cost to drill wells, IMHO
Black Dragon will need to secure a lease, secure a title opinion from an attorney,BD will need to settle surface damages with the landowner. BD will need to have the location surveyed for a permit. BD will need to get a permit from the state to drill; BD will need a bid from a contractor to prepare the location for drilling. BD will need to get bids from drilling contractors to drill the well. BD will need to get bids on whatever you decided to furnish to the drilling contractor in the way of mud, water, fuel, Etc., unless it is a turnkey bid. BD will need bids from the logging companies to do the surveys after the well is drilled. BD will need bids for pipe for the conductor pipe, the surface casing and the long string. BD will need bids for the tubing, packers, and subs for the completion string. BD will need bids from cementing contractors for cementing the pipe in the ground or plugging the dry hole. BD will need bids for the wellhead, valves and gauges. BD will need bids from the casing crews to run your long- string. BD will need bids for the tanks, separators, heater treaters, meters and gauges for the surface equipment. BD will need bids from contractors to install the surface equipment. BD will need bids for pipe to run flow lines from the well to the pipeline. BD will need bids from contractors to tie in the flow line to the pipeline and set the meters. BD will need bids to clean up the location, build all weather roads to the location build cattle gaps or gates to protect the landowner’s property or livestock. Add up all of the costs and that is what it takes to drill a typical well. There is no such thing as a typical well anywhere. The costs of the overhead and geological work should be included in your estimate somewhere, as these costs are real. Every price is subject to the market availability on any given day. You had better figure in a contingency for problems that develop such as a blowout (you can get blowout insurance) stuck drill pipe, fishing jobs when stuff breaks off and falls in the well bore, Etc. and now in today’s economy , most services will be paid in cash upon delivery. You will probably need a consulting engineer on the project at about $1000 per day. Piece of cake! If I left out somthing, please correct.
