Maybe this is the reason why ZJMY is keeping very quite about their position on electric buses. They don't want to tantalize the E bus giant for now. They put their effort onto electric tax, electric delivery truck, low speed electric car. Based on the presentation given by ZJMY, my judgement is that the E taxi market has vacuum and there is very little or no competition.
Companies get government contracts through bidding process just like here, only difference over there is that more corruption might be involved and your connection (Guanxi) could be more important than your offering.
Once ZJMY enters electric bus arena, they will be in head-on-head competition with BYD because that is their domain. There will be no working-together between the two. If ZJMY gets decent order, it will find partners who has bus production line and experience but not in competition with each other. There are many bus manufacturers in China.
I saw somewhere earlier that ZJMY is hiring bus exterior design engineer. I feel that electric bus business is happening.
Right now BYD dominates electric bus market in China. The landscape will change soon with ZJMY joining the competition.

ZJMY does not release any details on the quantity of government procured buses, or if there is any pending orders from any municipality. There are hundreds of large to mid-size cities like Bengbu, Anhui in China. An order from single city could easily reach hundred million dollars.

It appears to me that this company has a business scope of resource management, assets management, financial management, industrial investment, asset securitization, etc.
There are many financial jargon in the company business description which is beyond my comprehension. But there is on thing popping up in my eyes: electric vehicle sharing. Is this new thing like bike sharing? What type of EV for sharing? electric bikes, electric scooters? electric tri-wheelers? low speed electric cars? Is ZJMY making those EVs?
WANG Dequn bought many quality companies in the last few years in the areas of financial services, media and communications, cultural and arts. He will buy suitable companies and assets and put them under new energy umbrella.
There will be a surplus of assembly lines of fuel vehicle manufacturers and EV manufacturers who do not have superior technology and products . He probably is going to buy some of those assets to boost ZJMY's production.

Around 6:00, she started to talk about their charge/swap station. Their model is superior than the Israelis model. They are looking for Agents to operate the station. The license fee will be 3 million RMB. It is estimated that the initial cost will be recovered in 3.3 years.
The procurement of electric school buses could be small trial for the government. So I don't think the number is huge. But this is a good start. This is good news for us.
She did say the government procurement of their electric buses as well. I forgot to mention about it in earlier post.

I don't know the price but should be much cheaper.
The dealer plate number is something like D.9907358. The character in front of D means "Electricity or Electrical", is pronounced as "Dian". D stands for electrical. So when you see plate number starts with letter D, it means electric car.
From the sequence of the number, we can assume that the sequence starts from 9900001 and D.9907358 is the 7358th car they produced. We don't know when this delivery was out of shop and how many more are produced till today.
That first character with square symbol with the vertical line through the center of it is pronounced as "Zhong". It means Center or central. Once upon a time, China was thought to be the center of the world, and China in Chinese means central state or central country.
I was told that ZJMY and the China National Agricultural Real Estate Company shares the fifth floor of the office building at 149 Weizikeng Road, Fengtai District, Beijing. The two companies have no business relationship.

I think Huaju (Torch) was planing to build a fully-fledged EV manufacturer with 2 billion yuan. That plan did not materialize so they merged into JB for their expansion. So my guess is that either Torch or Panther does not have that much assets right now. We should see that in the upcoming financials.
Since the central government liberated the low speed electric car market by giving registration and road right, the other parts of China will follow the trend and open arms for low speed electric cars. We should expect surging demand for our low speed EVs.
We don't know how many cars were delivered. Shandong province has well developed economy and road system, and has a population of over 90 millions. My guess the number could be in tens of thousands.
I asked the same question about three weeks ago. Jinbo told me that Huabao (Panther) and Huaju (Torch) are the same company. It is like one entity with two names. After Panther was bought, Torch becomes inactive.

Both articles mentioned about the fact that Jinan city, Shandong Province has assigned special lane for low speed electric cars. This is where the batch of our low speed cars were delivered to.
