I missed the chance to get in at .09 Do you think putting in a buy at .10-.12 is good now, or should I just forego this one?

THANKS!
I new to this board. Just wondering why you would buy plkt after yesterday's PR.
"The unanticipated turn of events in the Canary Islands and Planktos' current inability to secure sufficient funding for the continued operation of its business plan, has forced management to consider a general winding down of its business operations until such time as it can better assess its priorities in relation to the availability of capital."
I have not done any dd on this stock, just started following Top Guns picks and have yet to purchase any of them.
I don't want to come across as a basher, just curious.
Thanks!
and...
care to elaborate.

Ribbon Cutting Webcast on H3 inc website.
Well said!
See the Ribbon Cutting webcast here
http://www.justin.tv/htre/archive
change the time to 12:18 and the webcast will begin.
It is over now. Dr. Ben said he would be back later today. Not sure what that means. There were 2 elected officials that spoke, just a few sentences each. Dr. Ben thanked everyone. They cut the ribbon. Included the founder's moms in the cutting ceremony - nice touch!
It is on NOW!!!!!
Dr. Ben said they have a Liquor Lic. in one of his webcasts. Also there is an indoor and outdoor bar.
Anyone else expecting a PR today? They have released one every day this week between 10:00 and Noon. I would hate to see what this would have done without the PRs considering it hasn't bounced on the news they have released. Maybe the PRs have kept it from bottoming out though.
I would love to buy some more, but I am all tapped out.
You're right! someone seems to be holding the stock back. That is not necessarily a bad thing. I would rather see a gradual increase and have it hold rather than a spike and have it bottom out again. At least for a long term investment. imo
Boomer - Thanks for explaining what a "gap" is. I haven't studied much on how to read the charts. With that said, could you explain what the color signify: white, red, black. THX
Is this the MMs keeping the pps down?
CEO of H3 Enterprises Dr. Benjamin Chavis Announces the National Grand Opening of the HipHopSodaShop on "The Cavuto Show" on Fox Business Network
11:09a ET December 11, 2007 (Market Wire)
H3 Enterprises, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: HTRE), the world's first publicly traded Hip-Hop company and parent company of the HipHopSodaShop, announced that its CEO and President, Dr. Benjamin Chavis, and Hip-Hop mogul Russell Simmons appeared on "The Cavuto Show" on Fox Business Network hosted by Neil Cavuto to discuss the impact of Hip-Hop on business and on Presidential politics. During the interview, Dr. Chavis announced that the national grand opening of the first HipHopSodaShop in Tampa, Florida will take place on December 18, 2007.
Dr. Chavis and Mr. Simmons covered a whole range of issues with Mr. Cavuto from Presidential politics to poverty to entrepreneurship to youth voting and economic youth empowerment. But the most compelling moments on the show related to Dr. Chavis' and Mr. Simmons' efforts to promote the positive attributes of Hip-Hop and its power to promote entrepreneurship and economic empowerment with our youth. Dr. Chavis also spoke about the need to address poverty in our country today and unite Republicans and Democrats and the public and private sector to assist our most vulnerable communities.
Dr. Chavis stated, "Hip-Hop has the power to bring people together like no other cultural force in the world. The HipHopSodaShops will be places where people can come unite through Hip-Hop culture and become empowered by entrepreneurship and business." As Dr. Chavis spoke, a picture of the first HipHopSodaShop in Tampa was displayed.
Neil Cavuto is the Senior VP, Anchor & Managing Editor, of Business News on FOX Business Network. Cavuto was named anchor and managing editor of business news for the FOX News Channel (FNC) in July 1996. He is now the Senior Vice President of Business News, while continuing to serve as anchor and managing editor. Additionally, he directs content and business news coverage for the FOX Business Network, where he hosts "Cavuto" at 6 p.m. Eastern. Responsible for anchoring the daily, one-hour daytime financial program, "Your World With Neil Cavuto," (4-5 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday) and a wrap-up program highlighting the week's business news, "Cavuto On Business" (10:30-11 a.m. ET on Saturdays), Cavuto oversees all business coverage for FNC and serves on the network's executive committee. "Your World" is currently the No. 1 rated cable news program in its 4 p.m. timeslot and covers the business world from all angles.
If that's the case, then do you plan on following their lead and selling off at the peak and buying back in at a lower price?
What do you mean a selling scare?
Break it down...

From whom did you hear that "they were going to be doing a dry run through with the staff the last week in november and grand opening on the first week in december." I would think this kind of info would make a great PR announcement.
Some thoughts to ponder...
"Mark Shelton of MA Shelton Construction said H3 has put in about $150,000 of the eventual $400,000 required to renovate the Fourth Street spot, but requirements for a large wall and disruptions over multiple utility easements were slowing the remainder of the renovations. He said work would take eight weeks, but permission has already taken months. City officials say they've not delayed the project."
- This is fingerpointing between Shelton & the city officials. However, consider that no progress has been made in getting "permissions" which makes me want to side with Shelton.
- Is that all the city said, or was only a portion included in the article to spin it.
- Did the author of the article ask the city to get their side of the story and all they could rebut with is: its not our fault?
- When have bureaucrats ever admitted fault (without being exposed that is)?
I agree with you that once the store opens it will give the PR firm some great ammo. But why would H3 need a PR firm at that point - they could announce the opening w/o them? I would think a good PR firm would be able to promote a company even without a huge event like the first store opening. Time will tell if TASC is for real or just another opportunity to attract big name celebrities.
All of this is just my oppinion (and not a lot of thought went into it). Just wanted some chatter on the board. It's been as quiet around here as H3 has been.
Happy Thanksgiving to All!
Not sure if this was posted before or not. I just found it. Has some interesting info.
Timing's everything for backers of Hip Hop Soda Shop concept
The Tampa shop will open first, fortuitous for two men.
By PAUL SWIDER, Times Staff Writer
Published October 14, 2007
ST. PETERSBURG- The first HipHopSodaShop will open in Tampa, not St. Petersburg, but the enterprise will contain organic elements of both communities and connections to both.
Delayed for more than a year, the health food restaurant and music-themed video-gaming business was to start in a former Chinese restaurant at 8901 Fourth St. N, but will instead open this year at 1241 E Fowler Ave., the former Bull Ring Sports Bar.
The Fourth Street location may open next year on a smaller scale than originally planned, the company said.
Investors in H3 have closely followed progress in the attempt to marry popular hip-hop culture and investment capital in a positive entertainment venue. Company officials felt they had to act fast after the St. Petersburg location was delayed by expensive zoning requirements triggered by its gaming component, said Dr. Ben Chavis, president and chief executive of H3 Enterprises, the company behind the concept shop.
"As a publicly traded company, it's in the interest of our investors to have a store open as quickly as possible," said Chavis, the former head of the NAACP who took over H3 this June. "I can't have us waiting another year."
Area entrepreneurs will be the beneficiaries. Eric Green and Eric Von Billington formed E&E Global Enterprises this year to pitch H3 on a Tampa shop for the second location. When Chavis decided he had to move fast, he had E&E as a ready replacement to manage the business.
"We were waiting in the wings," said Green, 49, who runs Everyone's Youth United, a nonprofit educational organization in Childs Park. "Now it looks like we're going to be first because we were prepared."
Green met Billington through the latter's work with St. Petersburg's city-run television station. Billington, 35, a Tampa video producer, filmed Everyone's Youth United events and later taught video production to EYU youngsters. The two found the Fowler site as part of their research for H3.
"We had every intention of opening after St. Pete," said Billington, who left his city job this year. "Now this is almost a turnkey."
Chavis said H3 signed a lease on the 11,000-square-foot Fowler property last week. The space requires only minor renovations to become a full-service restaurant with the multiple video games that make up the HipHopSodaShop concept.
"We have to do this right away, but we have to do it the right way," Chavis said of the concept, colors and features of the restaurant. "This will be the prototype. It has to be a real restaurant with games that work, but we don't want people walking in and saying, 'Oh, this is like Hard Rock Cafe or Dave and Buster's.' "
The restaurant will have dozens of Internet-connected video games and plasma screens. A business that has more than 10 video games becomes classified as a "commercial recreation center," Chavis said, and in St. Petersburg that forced additional renovations to separate the business from the adjacent neighborhood. Tampa's zoning is different.
Mark Shelton of MA Shelton Construction said H3 has put in about $150,000 of the eventual $400,000 required to renovate the Fourth Street spot, but requirements for a large wall and disruptions over multiple utility easements were slowing the remainder of the renovations. He said work would take eight weeks, but permission has already taken months. City officials say they've not delayed the project.
The new arrangement, though, is a further mesh of the principals, and principles, behind the Tampa location. H3 promotes itself as an entertainment venue but also an educational tool to show urban youth how to succeed in a positive investment environment. Green said that blends with the goals of Everyone's Youth United, which he will continue to operate alongside his work with H3.
"One of the things that caught my attention was the community empowerment, the hip-hop-meets-Wall-Street aspect," he said of H3's stated mission. "So this is a perfect fit. We'll be able to take kids to Tampa and show them the finished product, what happens when you get your head together and work toward something."
Green said he has also talked to H3 about E&E being involved in the management of the St. Petersburg store when it opens next year. Chavis said that 6,000-square-foot store will open but it may be a smaller version so the number of games doesn't conflict with the zoning of the property.
For a PR firm they have a lousy website. I have tried to google the T.A.S.C. Group and Lawrence D. Kopp and haven't found much useful info. Anyone else researched them?
Other Talking Points:
HHSS Tampa:
- Final Stages of exterior paint and accents
- Interior painting near completion
- Kitchen in final stages of preparation
- In 10 days people can begin submitting applications at the HHSS
- Updated picts coming to Website soon
Online Gaming:
- Trying to establish relationships with Microsoft and Xbox 360
- Target is to have online gaming up and running the same time as the HHSS opens
Meridian Beverage Co:
- Meeting with Jason Maples today
- In talks with Coca-Cola and Pepsi
Justin.tv didn't work for me either, but I was trying to watch it on H3Inc.com. However;if you go to
http://www.justin.tv./htre/archive
and change in 12:07pm you will be able to see the Webcast. The calendar date and time automatically comes up with today's date and current time.
Anyone else wondering why they waited so late (53 min. prior) to announce this. I realize this is the 2nd announcement, but I would have had it on the marketwire before opening bell.
Thanks, that would be great. I am from Charlotte too and since we can't go in person the updates you can provide will be great. Since FLSunChaser is only 22 miles from the Tampa HHSS, maybe he can post some more picts for us. I know everyone stays busy so we value your time and greatly appreciate you keeping us in touch with Tampa. When/if they open a store here in Charlotte we will do the same!

He said they were going to continue with the lease and still assess the situation in St. Pete before making a decision. (My opinion: They have a signed contract/lease and can't get out of it.)
The Tampa store has 3 areas: Gaming, Merchandise and Eating (both inside and a deck outside). There is a functioning DJ booth and a place for private gatherings.
Leon Ellis is in charge of the menu which will have BURGERS: beef, turkey and salmon burgers were mentioned. They will not use transfat to fry the food.
They are working with a special interior designer (no name given) and the color scheme is red, black and platinum.
GREAT IDEA to broadcast from the Tampa site!!!
Any SPECULATION as to why so much volume yesterday and virtually none today?

Well said, Boomer, Well said.
The problem is not limited to hip-hop, but affects every aspect of our lives. What is entertainment to one may be an abomination to another. I believe not only in freedom of speech (in all forms), but also in censorship - personal censorship that is. However, with freedom comes responsibility. It would be naive of me to assume that everyone holds to the same standards I have. So I personally censor what I and my children view according to my personal beliefs. It's not anyone's responsibility to do this for me - not even the government.
I guess this board is not the appropriate platform for my personal philosophy though.
G-max
Boomer - I just read this. Thx. Am I the only one dumbfounded by the doc's quote?
WARNING: Here come's my soapbox. So if you are offended stop reading now. If not, then here is my opinion...
Dr. Ben can't honestly believe that poverty and social conditions govern the attitude of hiphop. I agree that we need to "get rid of poverty, inequality and injustice," but that won't clean up hiphop. A wise proverb says, out of the heart the mouth speaks. I take that to mean that the character of a man is exhibited through his words and actions (whether we are talking about hiphop or not). We need to change the character of future generations by teaching our children to respect others and to value human life-- it doesn't matter if our income is $15k or $150k. Our economic situation should not dictate our actions.
One reason these hip-hop artists promote violence through their lyrics is that it sells their cds. To them, making a buck is more important than influencing young impressionable minds. I wonder what would happen if people stopped buying their cds?
Enough of my tirade. And of course, all of this is my opinion and in no way attempts to express the beliefs of H3, Dr. Ben or this board.
G-max
Did anyone see the special last night on BET? If so, did Dr. Ben mention anything re; H3 or the SodaShop?

Seems like September to February is six months, unless I forgot how to count? I don't recall when they put up the temporary structure, but if it was in August, then September would be month #1 and 6 months later. . .here comes February. Sorry for the sarcasm, but it has been a !@#$^%! week!
Thanks!
I missed the first half of the conf. call. Can anyone give me a synopsis of what Dr. Ben spoke about? What specifics did he mention about the Meridian Beverage Co. IF any?
