Nazzie,
Are you still holding on to some of your BDGR shares? I hope so!
Right LGL,
I am not disagreeing. I am asking if you have people who are witnessing the bootlegging?
Thanks Charts,
I wanted LGL to specify the bootlegging activities that his people are observing and wanted to know if he was getting his evidence together for possible prosecution.
When I was a kid, I had a neighbor who had been a "Rum Runner" during prohibition. So I learned all I needed to know about "bootlegging" back then.
Regards!
LGL,
Bootlegging of oil?
Can you please explain that for everyone here and note who is involved? Thanks in advance!
Wow, all this time I've been using my BDGR shares to wipe up spills, dry my hands, and blow my nose into. Guess I should start fishing them out of the trash.
LOL at the irony of the universe...
"NRI is "Net Revenue Interest".
Say 1,000 bbls of oil is sold at $80. Gross income = $80K
Let's say your royalty and overrides are 25% - a bit on the high side but makes the math easy.
So, your NRI is 75% (100% - 25%) and your gross income is 75% of $80K = $60K.
Out of this you pay all the bills. The higher the burdens (lease royalty and overrides) the lower the NRI. Higher or lower NRI is accomplished through having more, or less, lease burdens. No matter the NRI, lease operating expenses remain the same, all else being equal."
Thanks, Local. This is exactly what I was looking for. Now can everyone out there do the math?-
REMOVE LANZA OVERRIDES and you get a better return on your NRI.
OPTIMIZE WELLS AND REDUCE MAINTENANCE and you lose less to that kind of overhead.
Dragon can be and IS a profitable company being leeched dry even with the inefficiencies of the current regime and methods. Imagine what it could be without the inefficiencies and Lanza. So the question is, will people buy in if Lanza is gone?
I think that 7 run 11th inning 2 nights ago broke their spirit.
***Go Rockies to take the whole thing!!!
"who are you referring as rats? I hope you're not talking about any particular race!!!"
You mean like rat race? As in, the one you are in?
Or maybe;
Dirty Rat
Rat Bastard
Rat Fink
Ratatouille
Rat a Tat
Rattle and Hum
"we can give soso training to cure rat infested dens and other animals too. that be fun job. jane love if you un infest her eating place. went by her place this week week. too many rats and other animals there to try to get in and eat. was afaraid that they rats and animals would attack me and my friends. jane pays well for animal control at her eating place."
You should write children's books, Dragon Man! I like it! That was a great visual of a bunch of rats and animals lining up to go eat in her restaraunt. Kind of like "Animal Farm". But this may be a bit too close to the truth. Usually in a fairy tale you have to change at least some facts.
As far as Lou goes, I think you've got it all backwards.
"If the NRI postion got back to 75% plus, with reasonable expenses, I think you'd be immediately profitable. Right now even an epileptic, blind chimp can make money in the field."
Thanks for your reply. Can you walk everyone through briefly what exactly NRI is and how it can be revised upwards or downwards?
Local,
I have said this all along. It's nice that, even if it took you almost 8 months, you finally can see that.
Now I have a few questions for you if you will indulge me:
Let us say, for argument's sake, that we were free of these Lanza overrides.
I looked over the website that you linked to:
If BDGR were to switch over to such a low maintenance, low cost system and use some of the chemical solutions that you spoke of a few months ago, what do you think they could yield from the shallow wells? Enough to be handsomely profitable if you take into account the lack of the overrides going to Joe?
In other words, I am sure we would be cashflow positive just on the overrides removal.
But what kind of difference would streamlining these wells bring us? Would it be a good ROI that could be realized very soon? Or would the return come over a few months, years etc?
I am trying to get a handle on what kind of increase we could expect in combined production and cost savings in maintenance and overhead.
Even with the NRI's as they are at approx. 60-70ish %.
I didn't know that you found your own ignorance so amusing. You must be laughing all the time.
Soon, your eyes may be crying for a very different reason.
Good luck!
Baj van jövő részére Lanza
"In that case it will even seem more insane to you, et al., when it happens ;)..jmho"
Ok, jmap. Explain exactly how you are going to get anything out of Lanza. Maybe we could all learn something from you.
Go ahead, I'm eagerly waiting...
When faced with a no win situation, I will not accept the reality of it! I will keep on deluding myself until I climb under and get stomped by, the crushing force of the hard, cold truth. Or simply doggedly stay with my delusions and turn that mountain of facts into a huge dung mine.
- Possibly Retarded Thinkers ;)
Have you worked on rigs, Maverick? Are you from the area? Just curious.
I can tell you for a fact that there is no imminent settlement.
And even if there, by some divine miracle, was some kind of settlement, (which I guarantee would be delayed for months and months if not years and years) IMHO your Barnett would be too busy printing off shares to stop his press to actually get anyone to actually pump any oil. And trying to catch Lanza is like trying to catch a greased pig. Trust me, we have not caught him yet over at BDGR.
And remember, those leases are crap anyway. BDGR does not recognize revenue from those leases. If there are hidden gems over at BDGR, it is not those leases and you will never get a penny from BDGR. The premise of the case is too flimsy. It is nothing more than wishful thinking.
And you will be hard pressed to get anything out of Lanza. And if you did, you would have to get in line behind the BDGR share holders first.
Good luck but please have a reality check.
I think you are much more likely to get a PR from OMDA regarding "winding up of affairs" or further share dilution.
"for bdgr longs, imho a takeover from barnett might be able to
be mediated to the ultamate satisfaction of shareholders,
--to some this is unlikely however it is possible imho"
Now THAT qualifies as quite possibly the most insane statement I have ever read on this board.
Did we all enjoy that specialist trade of 276 shares ($10.74 total value) to bring the price down at the end?
"God knows this is the answer to my prayers and hard work."
What hard work? Being a little whiner and basher? How come you have never shown up in any of the shareholder activist circles?
Do you mean you are hard at work guaranteeing your losses?
What kind of prayers are we talking about here? Why don't you pray for some courage and intelligence?
It's really funny to me in retrospect that localoil came on here one day and started spouting off about maintaining the "honor" of the good hard working people of the oil business down in Shreveport. He went on to say that Lanza gave the place a bad name and made it harder for people like him to make an honest living.
Well, I'll wager that if oil was going missing, you would not find Lanza behind the wheel of a tanker truck. It would be good, honest, hard working folks from the area. Or maybe other good, honest, hard working companies in the area.
In fact, there is so much integrity down there, that I just can't understand why Black Dragon is not $10/share.
I don't know about you LGL, but I wrote that 10,000 barrels of oil off long ago.
Once I found out that they were in the tanks, ripe for pillaging, and found out that Mike Ellis was hiding in Georgia, not supervising things, I knew that oil was going to turn up "missing".
"BS" is definitely the appropriate word for oil in those tanks according to the PR, which was apparently written by a trained monkey.
Probably the dancing monkey of the organ grinder...
Who says I'm waiting for anything?
How would you know soso?
You have not contacted a single share holder activist anywhere.
Why don't you private message me with your name and some contact information and I promise I will contact you. Didn't you request to talk to me a while back?
Here's your big chance!
From the Ellis "PR":
"...I never had the opportunity to verify Black Dragon’s right to drill deep wells nor was I able to raise the needed funds because of Black Dragon’s reputation in the industry."
Yet you want to crawl back into the bowels of Black Dragon.
So which is it, Mr. Ellis? Is this company worthless or are you just trying to "poor mouth" BDGR and come in on your "white horse"?
I would venture to guess that you know much more than you are saying here. I would venture to guess that there is something very valuable that you want.
Are you sure that you could not secure funding only due to BDGR's reputation? BDGR's reputation with who or whom?
How about your reputation? Why were you not able to secure funding on your reputation and with your company behind you?
What about the drilling rig you spoke of? Where is that?
Please help me understand, Mr. Ellis. I agree that we need Lanza out. But please help me understand why you are the man for the job.
notomuch: "insider" with a third grade spelling capacity
soso: incessant whiner who wants to nuke everything in sight and provides no help to anyone
trooper: NON stock holder but mysteriously here for months and months
localoil: disgruntled jelly salesman with an agenda. Also a NON stock holder
wolfpack99: mouthpiece for Ellis
Everything coming from these posters should be taken with more than a grain of salt. More like a salt mine!
There is a lot of BS being posted on this board lately.
Bottom line, either Dragon does or does not have deep rights to their most appropriate leases.
Lanza must go.
As they say at my favorite bar; "You are leaving. Pick your window."
We elected Alfred E. Neuman as President of BDGR last week, Tommer.
Where have you been?
LOL
Just an FYI:
Things are getting very interesting at BDGR.
Not recommending a buy here but you may want to start tracking this over the next few weeks. Stock doubled yesterday.
MM's are artificially knocking the price down this morning with 2000 share bid fills.
I hope October 15 crushes the ever living begeezus out of the naked short interests. This is complete bullsh*t!
Sometimes I wonder if there is ANYONE honest in the stock market infrastructure.
They need to go to jail just like Lanza. Shorting their own inventory!
Ask yourself:
Why would anyone at BDGR want to discredit Ellis? Today? In the afternoon?
Ellis did NOT issue 100 million shares. The share count is as stated in the PR which is actually more favorable than what we thought.
The only bums here are the ones throwing stones.
Kind of tells you that there must be some pressure coming from somewhere, huh?
ME LIKEY!!!
If I may,
It is Lanza's hold on BDGR that appears to be falling apart. Of course, time will tell if we are successful. Keep your fingers crossed because if BDGR goes, you will never see anything.
Also, if we are successful, BDGR will be a good place for you to put your money. But not yet...
Hey day-trader guy,
Thanks for your wisdom but we are working on saving the company right now. Please keep that in mind and let's not bury the more important messages with day-trading theory.
Thanks in advance.
This guy is for real:
Share holders out there who want to do something give this guy an email. His name is Larry:
Kizzittoo@verizon.net
"Name, amount of shares and e mail address.
Further I will send info on the situation as it is generated and in anticipation of your comments, suggestions, etc., and cooperation,
Thank you,
THE NEW YORK SHAREHOLDERS"
We are gaining momentum!
Dragonman,
I'm sorry I meant phone number and email please. I only have a free account here, I cannot respond to your messages. Thanks.
Dragonman,
Please private message me with some contact information for you and I will answer your questions.
Thanks
Good idea about taking the time off, Mil
I will be partying in NYC this weekend (my old haunts). Already packed, locked, -and if I'm lucky- loaded.
Me thinks I may end up visiting McSorley's, near St. Mark's.
If you were to drop by, look for me in the back. I'll stomping Dragonman and Soso for being pains in the arses!

Think someone is f*cking with you?
Hey weak hands, you get what you deserve. You all should be holding until the teens or higher.
Good point Mars.
I always saw that SEC as our Nuclear Strike, obliterating everything.
I much prefer the Neutron Bomb strategy where we wipe out all biological units but leave the infrastructure intact for re-population by, of, and for the share holders.
Dragonman,
You really have been out of touch for as long as I can remember.
You know why I know that? Because I have never spoken to you or anyone who has spoken to you.
You state the same things on this board day in and day out like you are telling us all something new.
Lanza is bad. REALLY?????
The board is full of Lanza cronies. YOU DON'T SAY!!!
There has been misconduct and mismanagment to spare at Black Dragon. MY WORD!!!???
Sell your shares today. Go to the SEC and whine for an investigation. Then you will most certainly lose everything and ruin any chance of recovery for anyone else.
Think for ONE SECOND: You are operating in the dark. Other people here, even including- but not limited to your friend LGL, have been looking into things. LGL has his take on things, and I have mine.
Chances are, Lanza will go to jail sooner or later regardless of whether or not any of us have anything to say about it.
Black Dragon is NOT DEAD! Do you really think that in these times, with oil being what it is, that someone isn't sniffing around? We already know that (evil) TX-Holdings would offer us .25- .30/share in stock trade. Even if you cut that in half, that is still .12 - .15 cents or 6 to 8 TIMES what the current value of your shares are.
I would not take that offer from TX Holdings, but even as such, you are looking at a serious undervaluation just on the properties and oil in the ground.
OMDA has NOTHING. NO ASSETS. They have nothing to sell. WE DO!
Lanza isn't currently printing shares because he will get nothing for them. Even he can see that.
Right now someone could swoop in and buy 20 - 30 million shares without pushing the bid past .05 before anyone had any clue what was going on.
OIL is OIL people. It's just getting more valuable. Holding your shares and holding out through October for the audit is the way to go.
Hey, if there is no audit in October, then I think I would be inclined to agree that it is "over". But NOT today.
And all you desperate people would rather take ZERO. What's the rush to lose ALL OF YOUR MONEY FOR SURE?
I would rather take the highest bid, AND put Lanza where he belongs! But that's just me.
