Tightening Nickel Supply Threatens Electric Vehicle Boom
According to a new study by BloombergNEF, EV makers will be driving demand for nickel about 16 times to 1.8 million tons in the next years.
Class-one nickel, a high-purity material used in batteries, is expected to see demand greatly outstrip supply in the next few years. That will be fueled by meeting the large Chinese EV market, and other global markets where demand is expected to grow.
That need for class-one nickel will outstrip supply within five years, according to the study.
One problem has been a lack of real investment in new mines for materials including nickel, Tesla’s global supply manager of battery metals, Sarah Maryssael, said at a Washington meeting in May. That could drive up prices as battery demand increases greatly.
Australian Mines' Sconi project and other mines are a valuable commodity as this supply crunch unfolds. Expect AMSLF 's stock price to rise dramatically in the near future.

European Union's Strategic Action Plan on Batteries
Securing access to battery raw materials is essential to meet the EU’s ambition to become competitive in the global battery sector.
To reduce the EU’s dependence on imports of batteries raw materials, access to primary and secondary EU domestic sources must be facilitated, and a secure and sustainable supply from resource rich countries outside the EU must be ensured. Australia is where the world is increasingly focused to get these critical minerals for EV batteries. Australian Mines LTD (AMSLF) will play a vital role in this plan. The stock of AMSLF will rise tremendously.

Carmakers, battery manufacturers are calling nickel companies direct as supply shortfall looms.
New mines are not being developed and so global stockpiles are dwindling. Forecasters like Wood Mackenzie are predicting a pretty substantial nickel supply crunch in the mid-2020s. As a result automakers are now staffing up their own battery metals procurement teams and are signing direct contracts with mining and chemical supply chain players.
So do not be surprised to see Australian Mines LTD (AMSLF)sign off take agreements soon for their remaining mines because they are a hot commodity right now and in the future.

Could Australia Replace China as the Rare Earth Supplier?
Sources have confirmed a report by The Financial Times that the US State Department is working with Canada and Australia to better understand what critical minerals each country has and how these can be developed.
‘The three countries have sought to bring together high-level government support for reducing the reliance on China for strategic materials.
‘Australia’s response to the US call to arms has seen Austrade put together a prospectus of so-called “critical minerals” which could be developed with the help of capital from the US, Europe, Japan or South Korea
‘To speed these developments Austrade has led trade delegations to the US and north Asia and will take another group to Europe later this month.’
Australian Mines LTD (AMSLF) is increasingly becoming a valuable option for countries to ween themselves off of China's dominance as a supplier of critical minerals. This stock will explode.

Australia's mining boom is far from over
Signs that the mining boom is continuing strongly
One of the first announcements of 2019 that indicated the mining boom is far from over was that of lithium mining companies in the Pilbara region. With plans for millions of dollars of investments into expansion, and more jobs being created, this is a strong indication of further growth in the years to come.
Eyes are also firmly on the Perth housing market, which shows a direct correlation between the mining boom and increased house prices. With prices sliding over the past four years, the Australian Financial Review predicts this year will see prices stabilise as the resources industry booms into the future.
Over in Queensland, several mining companies have been given the green light to explore parts of the state for resources. This includes following leads towards the finding of zinc, lead, copper and silver north of Mount Isa, and a search for coal, gas and minerals is taking place near existing mining regions.
There has also been a $75 billion investment into iron ore mining, the gas industry has announced expansions, and more money is being thrown into LNG and gold. This will result in the creation of thousands more jobs located in Western Australia.
And the positive signs don’t end there. Another indicator of a boom – or the continuation of the existing mining boom – is stock prices. Many experts are putting much faith into mining’s rising stocks, including some producers of gold and precious metals, as well as graphite and lithium.
There are many positive signs that the calls marking the end of the mining boom have been incorrect. The mining industry, it seems, is set to go from strength to strength in the coming years
There is no doubt that Australian Mines LTD (AMSLF) is one of those companies that will have a rising stock price for many years to come.

BMW to source cobalt from Australia for EV batteries.
"The move is designed to combat child labour in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and will impact its vehicles from 2020 onwards."
Australia is becoming the place for mining as the DRC is becoming less favorable. That should help Australian Mines LTD (AMSLF). AMSLF will have no problems getting supply contracts for it's mines. AMSLF is going to soar.

Cobalt shortfall now much closer thanks to closure of the world’s largest mine. Experts believe the mothballing of Glencore’s Mutanda cobalt mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo will likely be the catalyst the market needs to spur prices higher.
Mutanda is the world’s largest cobalt mine with annual production of around 25,000 tonnes, or a fifth of global supply.
“This should be enough of a catalyst to see prices rise going forward, and although it is too soon to tell how significantly, it appears from early indications that they have already begun to react,” Caspar Rawles, senior analyst at Benchmark Mineral Intelligence, told Stockhead.
“However due to the uncertainty, people will look to start to secure material or be prepared to pay more for it and early indications are that prices are rising as a result,” he said.
“Furthermore, looking to 2020 and beyond, without the roughly 25,000 tonnes of cobalt from Mutanda the market will be moving into deficit far sooner than was expected.”
One ASX-listed cobalt player, meanwhile, says the premature closure of the Mutanda mine validates what many commentators have been saying for a long time about the instability of the DRC as a supplier of cobalt.
“These things are in the back of people’s minds anyway, so when you see these announcements from Glencore it just confirms that what people have been saying may actually be playing out,” Australian Mines managing director Benjamin Bell told Stockhead.
“It certainly helps us from a commodity pricing point of view.”
Australian Mines is advancing its Sconi nickel and cobalt mine in Queensland towards production.
The company recently locked in an agreement to sell all of the mine’s yearly nickel and cobalt production for at least seven years to South Korea’s SK Innovation at full market price.
The pair had previously negotiated a deal that would give SK a discount on Australian Mines’ nickel and cobalt if it injected $80.3m into the company by subscribing for 669m shares.
But SK decided not to go through with the investment and will have to buy the nickel and cobalt at full price.

Nervous Asian battery makers are turning to Australia and Canada for early-stage cobalt projects.
"Mine developers say interest from Japanese and Korean firms is particularly strong as they compete with rivals from China, which has built deep supply chain ties with the Democratic Republic of Congo, the world’s top producer.
The central African country accounts for nearly two-thirds of global cobalt output and production is set to rise despite concerns over the use of child miners and rising royalties.
“We are starting to see the first signs of an arms race to secure long term cobalt supplies,” said Joe Kaderavek, chief executive of Australia’s Cobalt Blue.
“With over 85 per cent of new global cobalt supply over the next decade coming from Africa, in a region where the Chinese have entrenched relationships, the Korean and Japanese cobalt processing industries are very focused upon Australian and Canadian projects.”
"South Korean battery maker SK Innovation Co. Ltd. locked in a seven-year supply deal with Australian Mines last month, helping to win funding for a project that has yet to make a final investment decision and does not expect to produce any cobalt until at least 2020.
At least half a dozen Australian and Canadian mine developers are currently in talks on potential supply deals with battery and automakers for production at some point beyond late 2019-2021, company executives told Reuters."
It is evident that there is a race to secure raw material for EV batteries as they expect car manufacturers to ramp up production in the near future. Australia is one of the countries that is going to benefit from the EV revolution. So Australian Mines LTD (AMSLF)'s raw material is in demand. That is why SK Innovations signed the supply contract with Australian Mines LTD (AMSLF). THEY DESPERATELY NEED THE RAW MATERIALS FROM THESE MINES. So, when Australian Mines LTD (AMSLF) financing deal is announced expect its stock to skyrocket. The financing deal should be announced any day now. Expect the stock price rise substantially when that happens. Also, be expecting supply contracts on the rest of AMSLF's mines soon. This company is going to explode!!!

Europe needs its own battery supply chain
"Europe needs its own battery supply chain to meet the needs of carmakers as they shift towards electric cars, according to Umicore, the Belgium-based producer of battery materials. Giant battery factories planned for Hungary, Poland and Germany need to be supplied with materials processed in Europe rather than Asia, Umicore’s chief executive Marc Grynberg said. “Given the sheer size of the requirements to the European industry similar to what’s happening in Asia it makes most sense in my opinion to have a regional supply chain.”"The world’s largest battery producers including Korea’s LG Chem, Samsung SDI and SK Innovation have all invested in battery factories in Poland and Hungary. Last month Mercedes-Benz owned Daimler also said it would build a factory in Poland. "
So we can see that SK Innovations needs Australian Mines LTD (AMSLF) raw materials for batteries for Europe. That is why SK Innovations signed the supply deal with Australian Mines LTD (AMSLF). AMSLF stock price will skyrocket once they get the financing to start building the plant for it's Sconi Mine. The time is now to invest in AMSLF!!!!

SK Innovation urged to secure raw materials for battery production.
This is according to a report by the Korea International Trade Association. It said: "Korean companies are strong in the battery sector, but are inadequate to secure raw materials that account for a huge portion of battery production costs," and "Companies need to mull ways of stably securing raw materials and make efforts to develop next-generation batteries, nurture relevant personnel and establish relevant infrastructure."
That is why SK Innovations signed the supply contract with Australian Mines LTD (AMSLF). That is why we expect the financing to go through for the plant for the Sconi project.
The report also said "sales of EVs in the European market grew 33 percent to 408,000 last year from a year earlier, with the sales volume expected to surpass 4 million in 2025. The scale of the EV battery market is also expected to grow to 250 billion euros in that year. But they will inevitably face fierce competition in Europe in 2025 when European companies are expected to complete their investments and begin to produce batteries on their own."
So there is a race to get battery materials. I expect ALL of Australian Mines LTD (AMSLF) mining projects to get off take agreements signed soon because there are all trying to secure the raw materials for batteries. So now is the time to get in on this stock while it is very cheap because soon it will go through the roof.
