Securing access to battery raw materials is essential to meet the EU’s ambition to become competitive in the global battery sector.
To reduce the EU’s dependence on imports of batteries raw materials, access to primary and secondary EU domestic sources must be facilitated, and a secure and sustainable supply from resource rich countries outside the EU must be ensured. The stock of AMSLF will rise tremendously.
