Philly I love your posts. You are such an optimist- to you the glass is always half full. When dealing with penny stocks it's a characteristic that can cost one a lot of money. Unfortunately I do the same thing-it's the only way I'm able to go to sleep at night.
Asus,Rover, and Cowboy-the three of you cast a long shadow on this board, and I for one will miss you greatly-hope the three of you will still be posting. And I would like to know when Asus gets his check from pbls. I would feel better to know that pbls kept the word on the buy back.
Thanks for the information-still hanging in there and hoping for some good news.LOL
Tony I've got the same game plan you have. I'm in axj to the tune of 33,000 shares. I've decided to ride this horse till it drops; I'm not going to get off now. I just have a gut feeling that Madum Wang has a game plan and is not going to let axj go under. She would loose too much face in China, so good or bad I'm in till the bitter end. Good luck to all longs, God knows we need it.
I've been long in nmkt for close to three years and own over 200,000 shares. I don't post often, but this letter was a BIG disappointment. I was hoping for some information about what we as shareholders are really paying to get nmkt China on a stock exchange, and PV said nothing new in that wordy/worthless letter. After reading the letter I'm surprised the s/p did not fall farther. Also does anyone know when nmkt is reporting 2nd quarter results-for some reason I thought it was going to be the 14th. I sure hope nmkt posts them today-we don't need another disappointment.
I can't see anyones IP addresses. I'm not very sharp when it comes to computer stuff. I opened this board so some of us axj longs would have a place to keep in touch with the closing of the yahoo board. I would be glad to turn the modulating of this board over to anyone who thinks they can do a better job. On other boards on I-hub the modulators post information about the company the board is talking about and do research on the stock-ect. I have been buying a little more axj at .15, but don't know if I'm throwing good money down the drain-time will tell. Good luck to all us longs.
Thanks for the tip on the IRA-I may just do that. I have been doing a little buying got 2000 share yesterday at .15 can remember paying $4.00 two years ago. I googled the two American board members and can't help but wonder why two such successful men would go on AxJ's board if they didn't feel that something big was going to happen to the company?
I bought 31000 shares Tuesday at .02 giving me 400,000 shares. I couldn't stand not buying anything at .02 when my cost base is .03. Is anyone else buying at these prices or are you all waiting for pbls to go under .01? One last question-why do I feel like I just caught a falling knife?
I just can't believe axj will end up BK. I'm down over forty k but I'm going to try to pick up a couple thousand shares today at 18 cents, some people-like me-never learn.
What's happened to this board, where has all the posters gone? I know that nmkt has been in a rut, but then so has the entire market.
I read this board every day as it is by far my favorite board. I have a small holding in pbls of 400,000 shares, and would like to thank all the posters on this board for their enteresting posts. I know some of you have made a big investment in pbls and I wish you all well, I hope pbls is worthy of all the trust you have put in it. If ever there were a group of investers deserving of hitting the big one, you are them.
Today was the first day since axj was kicked off the amx board that my Scottrade account showed the trades going through with the bid and ask maybe axj is now on an over the counter board of some kind.
Nothing has changed with axj from a month ago, except for the exchange, and we all new that the chances of axj getting kicked off of the amex were good so why the selling. If I didn't already own so many shares I would be buying more. It is a gamble, but I don't think now is the time to be selling axj. The up side is definitly bigger than the down side.
I sent a fax request for o/s to the fax # you listed and got this answer. Issued and outstanding at 6/13/06 is 148,503,231 as recorded. The sender whose signature I could not make out also said, 'This IS NOT for publication and can not be used on any filings." What do you think he means by that? He signed it with what looked like a M. Ota. Since when is o/s a secrete?
Schwab at the close on Monday shows axj with 26000 shares traded a low of .25 and a close of .38-up .03. Let's hope it does as well on Tuesday.
Both my trading accounts at Scottrade and Schwab have not posted the new symbol so I am unable to buy or sell. I'm sure many others are in same boat.
With the dropping of AXJ by Yahoo let me welcome all AXJ longs to I-hub. If anyone would like to co-modulate this board with me, I would welcome the help.
Las Vegas Nevada-500,000 shares
Charleio I've been reading your posts ever since I discovered this board. I've owned NMKT for several years and have been slowly adding to my share count. I enjoy reading your negative posts if for no other reason, they give me an opposing viewpoint to my own, but there is one thing I don't understand-why do you do what you do. If you don't own NMKT why do you spend so much time following the stock? Wouldn't your time be better spent helping out at a homeless shelter or finding a cure for cancer? What are your motives? They can't be just a desire to save us NMKT shareholders from the evil CEO P.V. If I knew what got you on this crusade against NMKT I would maybe listen to what you say a little more carefully. While I have been disappointed by NMKT many times over the last two years-I'm not ready yet to throw the baby out with the bathwater.
I've owned lqmt for over two years and I feel we are finally getting to the point where we can see a light at the end of the tunnel. If and when they get a contract for armour piercing rods for shells from the U.S. military- -this stock will take off.
Sandbath weicome to this board I have been enjoying your posts on nmkt for sometime as I am in that stock with you also. I think we have two interesting stocks with nmkt and pbls.
If NMKT posts on Monday, that alone will be a big positive, as I can't remember them ever posting on time. I was hoping they would surprise everyone and come out with the 1st. quarter report early-now I am worried that if they don't post on the 15th many longs will begin to doubt their many other promises. I own over 200,000 shares I don't want to be disappointed again. All longs let's hope Monday will be like Christmas in May and all the gifts we've been promised will be under the tree. Good luck to all and to all a good night.
Nmkttothemoon your last post was a good post to read before going to bed. Since I've found this board I've enjoyed your positive posts. I've owned nmkt for close to two years now but did not know of any message boards where it was discussed-I only used Yahoo's boards and they don't carry penny stocks. What a pleasure it was to discover this board and raging bull. It was very lonely out there in the dark holding 200,000 shares of nmkt and having no one to talk to for support as the stock went from .80 to .23- I started with 20,000 shares and averaged down as the stock fell in price ending with a cost basis of .51. Should have sold and bought back in but that is not my investment style. When I like a company I buy and hold- every time I've tried to time a stock I've shot myself in the foot. I did not intend to ramble- thanks again to you and all the other posters on this board- I feel like I've found a family.
Tedwitt I enjoy your posts and find them very informative, but in post 14560 you made a simple math mistake .80 x 1000000 is 800,000 not 80,000 off by a factor of ten. I'm surprised no one picked up the mistake. I made a small purchase of 200,000 shares of pbls in no small part because of your posts. No more mistakes now! LOL
I agree with sbc357 on letting Charleio post. No one could like nmkt more than me. It is a big part of my holdings and I have many friends and family in the stock on my recomendation. I find it refreshing to have someone take the opposite view. It's good to have one's viewpoint questioned when you have so much bet on that viewpoint. I believe I am right about nmkt, but having Charleio say the King has no clothes could be a good thing if I take a second or third look and notice that maybe there is a little too much bare leg showing or God forbid the King is naked. IMO Good luck to all longs!
We're here because we are long in nmkt, and while everyone should feel free to talk about perceived faults with nmkt try to also include some of the things you like so as to keep the postings a little more positive. Someone looking at some of these postings could very well have second thoughts about buying nmkt, and that would be both a shame and miss leading as I believe the majority of the posters on this board deep down really like nmkt and their only regreit is that they bought too soon, and they would recommend nmkt to a friend in a heartbeat if asked for a good stock to invest a little money in. And that's something I can't say about most of the stocks I own. GOOD LUCK TO ALL LONGS.
Would it slow done some of the selling every time the share price falls if NMKT came out with a statement that dividends would only be payed on shares of record that were held for say three or six months before the payment date. I don't know if it could be done or if it is legal to require a time of ownership to receive a dividend, but it would be one way to reward the longs who are not part of the traders that sell out after every positive announcement and help drive the s/p DOWN. Also the pieces of the pie being divided up among the loyal long term shareholders would be bigger as there would be a considerable number of shares not getting payed the dividend.
Both Yahoo and Scottrade took the .04 reading off so it must have been a screw-up.
Yahoo shows that some shares of NMKT sold today at four cents. Does anyone know how many and how does something like that happen. It sure screws up the share movement stats when tomorrow you look on Yahoo it will show the fifty-two week low for NMKT at .o4 cents.
I remember reading in one of Phil's posts that the sec changed the requirements and the old requirements were a fifty million dollar or maybe a hundred million dollar cap for a company to get on the amex-I don't remember which-. And that he was hoping to be able to be grandfathered in as nmkt had applied under the old requirements. The old requirements had no special share price to meet. I'm a long with a 200,000 share stake in nmkt. I love the company, but wish I'de bought in today and not a year ago-as then my stake would be closer to 400,000 shares for the same cost. But I'm sure I am not alone in that sentament. LOL
