Delete SIGO Instagram? Nope. Untouchable.
We plant our next crop on 2/23, next Friday.
SIGO published a schedule, did you see that?
Good point, surfkast, we are buying more.
You saw the schedule in the PR?
Cali will count SIGOs money, yes
Those Moon Rock pics are crazy. Never seen a product like that before. Of course Snoop Dog has - he's an original market researcher.
Can charge more too.
Agreed, can't tell what's going to happen from day to day. California is the fastest growing MJ market in the world right now. Became legal just 45 days ago. We just got our first license less than a month ago.
Before we got our license, everything was more predictable. As long as we did not have the license, this stock was not going to take off, so easier to think shorting would be a good idea.
But NOW! Oh man, game is on and news could come from anywhere at anytime. This is a monster industry in the making.
In less than 60 days, we'll start a true two-week perpetual harvest cycle that will continue indefinitely. Net income could be achieved also.
We have solid "next wave" catalysts approaching:
* Multi-Tier greenhouse architecture (anytime)
* Investment news (anytime)
* First Harvest Revenues (Late Feb/Early Mar)
* Second Harvest (3/12)
* Second Harvest Revenues > First Harvest Revenues (Early Apr)
* Start of indefinitely perpetual harvests every two weeks (4/6)
* Net Income Achieved (Apr)
* Yield Increasing (Apr/May/Jun/Jul)
PRs and 8Ks focused on the above would create a nice story-arc for future investors.
$7 - $9 bottom by Apr
Everything is delinquent, really.
Nothing is agreed on by everybody.
Did you see the Moon Rocks! First I had heard of them. Real MJ Candy right there. I wonder how easy they are to sell? What do you think, surfkast?
WARNING: MONEY BEING MADE HERE. MAY CAUSE HAPPINESS
Been 4 days since last harvest. There will be a time when we'll stop counting harvests because there will be so many, and, well, we'll get tired of counting 'em.
shorter plants for multi-level?
7K per month
SIGO has been on a tear with the press releases, 8Ks and advancements towards their mission.
The price will follow once we get revenues published. Market wants to see the dollars in a financial document submitted to the SEC.
Seems like extending the current greenhouse 5-7 feet is a good option, IMO. Could be the least costly. The multi-level system can be built completely separate from the greenhouse; no strain would be placed on the extended frame by the multi-level frame.
LED Lights: Looks to me they keep these LED lights on all night during the vegetative stage. Then when sunrises, they turn the LEDs off.
Go SIGO. Nice developments!
SIGO to learn the manufacturing ropes from pros. REI putting up the funding for equipment and operations. Very smart, IMO. I doubt this will be the only joint venture deal for SIGO.
About $150K planted in Bay 4.
A conservative guess, IMO, and only factoring the flower sales.
SIGO Instagram http://www.instagram.com/vbfbrands
provides a nice visual account of daily progress towards timing goals declared in a press release. That's a gutsy move to publicize the schedule in such a manner because it adds more accountability. Advantages are numerous: The schedule provides 20+ harvest dates, each one a catalyst moment, that can be shared via Instagram. When the plantings happen sooner, like Bay 4, we get to say "ahead of schedule."
Agree, simple Instagram platform enables shareholders to go along for the journey. This will be my best reality show series, going all this year and next.
SIGO PROFITABLE IN 2-3 MONTHS
They are figuring out the operational costs of one greenhouse now. The model greenhouse. Investment helps them create greenhouse (version 2).
Then its: REPEAT!! REPEAT!! REPEAT!! FIRE FOR EFFECT!!!
Licenses give credibility. Check.
One has to try really hard to ignore the potential opportunity here given ALL the facts. I believe readers of this board are smart enough to figure things out here.
Seriously, good luck.
Not everyone wins, good luck.
Choose your perspective wisely.
The situation is evolving...not wrong
At any point in time, they give the perspective they have at that point.
SIGO is constantly learning and evolving their operations in the best interests of shareholders. I'm glad they are nimble - need to be in this fast-moving industry. They are also conducting many tests at once. They have 5, soon 6, bays to try out new things. They may plant more in one bay, then plant less in another.
Again, I see absolutely no problems with how they are trying to keep everyone informed. I am grateful they share as much as they do. Allows us to live the dream/fight the battle with them. They are in a rapid learning curve, and its entirely possible that past operational statements have evolved. THIS IS EXPECTED from an entity trying to maximize value. Change is good.
BTW, I'm rooting for the Eagles, like most everyone else. Hope we have a great game today.
We want max yield, not max plants.
Adding more plants does not mean we get a greater yield. More plants means more stems and leaves, which block light from bud sites. There is a diminishing return with yield per plant as we add more plants. Also, more plants mean more drip lines; more cost.
Let the pros figure at the approximate number of plants. Spacing between the plants is key.
They may also determine that they can narrow the walkways. Won't know until we get some harvests under our belts.
We think faster than these plants can grow. Patience is key here.
We're okay here; no problems.
I guess 25 x 100 foot space in each bay; some of the space used for walkways.
Based on this photo and using the dudes for perspective...

..the black tarp covers the plants at about 7 feet.
It's possible they could run a row or two down the center of each bay on a second tier and the ridge height of the sloped roof would provide enough space.
This photo give a good look of the greenhouse from the outside:

They have "begun" to plant Bay 4 and appear to be partially completed -
looks like half is done.
I tried to determine by counting the number of crates used in a row. The crates appear to be at least 1" wide by 2" long. I couldn't get an accurate count, though, do to the diminishing perspective.
Sativas grow taller than Indicas. I believe some of our strains are Sativa dominant, so I would assume a 5 foot plant. Then need to allow a few feet of space between the plant top and lights, so the bottom level needs to be at least 8 foot high, or the size of a standard room. If using LED lights, the plants can be closer. The top level could allow the plants to grow into the rafters. Maybe they grow the Sativa strains on top and the shorter Indica strains on bottom.
Lots of variables to consider, and I believe SIGO is going through that analysis right now. Over the next month or two, they will gain an incredible amount of knowledge.
This is probably a dream problem for an operations-minded person, like TJ.
"Isn't doing as expected" ???
Not sure where you are getting that impression. Based on the Instagram pics, they are definitely getting results. My expectations have been exceeded, at least, IMO.
Vertical is just one aspect of retrofit.
One of the big changes in the "new method" is how they water using a drip system. Also, the spacing and pruning of plants is a part of the new method. Also, the new LEC and LED lights. Even the use of the black tarp seems new.
SIGO needs to learn ROI of each method.
It is best that they make incremental changes to their methods. Making too many changes at once does not allow them to effectively pinpoint the impacts of any one change, because they changed too many variables at once.
Get the watering, spacing and lighting down first, then makes sense to add a second tier. The second tier will be closer to sunlight, which could have an impact on yield by itself.
Second greenhouse may need to be built taller. Building a second-tier in existing greenhouse could help them determine future requirements.
California is the largest MJ market in the world, right now. Are we in the right place with SIGO, or what!
Off topic - The other night, I finally told my parents that I'm investing in MJ. I'm a grown man (45); yet, I still hesitate to tell them things like that. LOL They are very old-fashioned types; however, I was pleasantly surprised that they thought it was a very smart decision.
I'm not sure if there is a level 2 being constructed in Bay 4. The image angle does give that illusion, and I can see how one would think the white-floored area is a second level. That white-floored area may actually be Bay 5 and then next to that is Bay 6 with all the clones and mother plants.
If you look at the cross bars going across the Bay 4, they appear to be holding up the black tarp only.
However, building out a second-tier in one of the bays to learn the logistics would be a great idea. The lower tier would have to depend on the LEC and LED lighting.

Federal government has plenty of illegal grow targets to go after that impact public health and wildlife due to use of rodenticides. SIGO runs a clean operation.
How exactly would a California state-run bank for pot shops work?
http://420intel.com/articles/2018/02/01/how-exactly-would-california-state-run-bank-pot-shops-work
I wonder how SIGO's corporate structure facilitates or hinders their ability to bank.
January was the biggest month yet for marijuana legalization, despite Trump's new war on pot
http://420intel.com/articles/2018/02/01/january-was-biggest-month-yet-marijuana-legalization-despite-trumps-new-war-pot
"California at the beginning of the month opened the world’s biggest legal market for recreational marijuana"
That's next Friday. Then, according to schedule, they will be going through a retrofit period in Bay 1, I assume, given the 1 month time period between next Friday's harvest and the next planting on 3/9. Once that retrofit is complete, appears that they can harvest and plant on the same day in Bay 1. To accomplish this same-day swap, they must be moving the plants to be harvested out of the bay, and immediately move in the "planted" plants. The actual cutting, or "harvesting" must be done in a transition space.
I won't be at this next Shareholder Tour, but I hope those who go can really dig into their processes - I find them fascinating.
Scared of their piles of cash getting robbed, I get it. Security is important in this industry.
Excellent visual side-by-side comparison of grow ops. SIGOs looks so much more refreshing, organized and clean. Thank you
AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME
Awesome, I am buying more shares. Thank you for all the time you have put into your DD and research.
