Let’s hope. Only time will tell. Wonder how the Kipping…or should I say “Keepem” hearing went today. Was continued to today at 1 PM PST because the court ran out of time on 1/21 with all his BS arguments & deflections thrown at the wall.
Look up “without prejudice” and get back to us.
Other than opinion or speculation, show the proof there aren’t talks going on.
Yep…I believe it was Apple’s expert witness that stumbled & fumbled trying to explain the difference in dialing a prefix for an outside line on a PBX system, how callee/caller IDs work, and how their so called version would confuse an international dialing prefix with the PBX precursor for the outside line.
Right. And the plaintiffs are using all the legal tools at their disposal to fight to defend their issues patents. The patents have been upheld as valid through 12 IPR attempt! So why do some consider VPLM the scam and not the defendants? Aren’t they both doing the same thing with the legal system?
Really? So share price is the only indication of company value? Ever heard of GameStop? 52 week low of $ 16.15 and high of $ 483. PE of 0 and EPS of - 2.02. And the price volatility is twice that of VPLM. Is this company really worth the current price of $ 151.57?
There are many reasons why share price doesn’t always correlate to company value. Patent plays take time to work through the legal process…it’s easy to see why people get bored because these companies are not the dopamine rush, quick riches kind of stock.
Lol…iHub the new therapy dog!
No idea on the exact date. I know FB & VPLM agreed to an extension to re-file the motion due to the FB corp name change to Meta. I’d have to go back through the court docs to see if Meta re-filed to motion yet. I thought they did but can’t recall.
Just read the 10K and a key point is being missed…10Ks are delayed in reporting and this one is for the period ending 9/30/21.
All DJ cases in N CA where VPLM is the defendant except 1 Verizon case filed this past July are closed. There were a total of 7 DJ cases filed, 1 was dismissed in August, 5 were closed in October and the Verizon case is stayed pending the outcome of a transfer motion.
Since the 5 cases were dismissed after the 9/30 accounting period end, they would still appear to be open in this 10K.
Thanks. I’ll check it. I haven’t real the 10K yet.
Counter suits? The only open case that show VPLM as a defendant is the Twitter DJ case 5:21-cv-02769 in N CA for the RBR patents. I don’t see VPLM as a defendant in any other open cases on Pacer. Where is this old news coming from?
Thanks. I missed that on my first read of the filing. Appreciate the correction.
I believe it when I see it. I believe those dates are for summary judgement hearings and based on the info I have read, highly doubt ANY patents are at risk. Sounds to me like this could go nicely for VPLM and finally rid themselves of these cases…of course there’s always the appeals process but we’ll see how that works out.
Weird…if all 3 principals of the company live stateside, why set up it up as a Foreign LLC? The tax benefits can’t be that significant…seems like a way to skirt liability and make it difficult to sue. Hmmm…
Hope you’re correct Bud. In my opinion, I don’t think anyone here with concerns is asking for any fluff PRs…hell that would be worse than not knowing. We’re just looking for some HONEST follow up on the info the Doc has previously put out…even if the news isn’t great regarding Dubai, licensing, lawyer letter, yield sign, etc. Then at least people on the fence about staying invested or moving on can make a somewhat intelligent decision.
From many comments on VDRM, sure feels like lots of hype & cheerleading on “inside info” is what got many hooked here. Not saying that’s right or wrong, just pointing out what seems incontrovertible. I’m long and strong here due to the last dump in PPS but it sure would be nice to know, as Bugs Bunny always said, “what’s up Doc?”
Agree on all points…especially the comment on loading up. I’d happily take another few million shares of VPLM if my money weren’t tied up elsewhere. Ugh…c’mon Doc!
Truth.
Yep. Will be glad when we start seeing more movement in Waco…Hudnell just keeps turning the screws tighter & tighter and eventually one of the defendants will crack. Kind of like the prisoner’s dilemma…textbook game theory!
Very possible scenario on the combination V. I also think these cases will never make it to trial especially if there is any hint of a deal or agreements that come out of the Apple & ATT dismissals “without prejudice.” The only unknown is the forever long Kipping case in Nevada but even the judge Clark county is tired of his stalling BS and ordered a FIRM bench trial for Jan 31-Feb 2 so that whole charade will be coming to an end real soon!
Make sense and may be possible. The issues I see right now are the RBR & MG cases were ruled in N CA to be unrelated and I don’t see anywhere that the cases in Waco have been officially combined. Unless I’m wrong or something has changed, how can VPLM go to hearings and argue cases not scheduled to be heard that day?
Rapz…not sure that’s right. The 3 cases listed in the PR are for the RBR patents according to the court filings.
True but if you look at my case status spreadsheet. All the info is there. That’s part of the reason why I decided to put it together…to keep all the court info in one place. Here’s the link if you need it again.

Right. Sell high buy low…isn’t that the right thing to do?
Was thinking so because on the comment about “new licensing deal.”
V - the PR is for the original 2020 WACO cases against FB, Amazon, & Google on RBR patents. I believe many of the RBR cases were consolidated long ago but would need to double check the court docs. The MG patents are all still standing on their own.
No new filings or negative news that I’ve seen. I have had many more people request access to the case status spreadsheet. Maybe some didn’t like what they saw. Who knows…people sell stocks for all kinds of reasons.
Thanks. I did a quick search and can’t find any info showing any relation or is associated with ViaDerma or Dr. O. If you have links that show any connection, please share.
For anyone interested, the VPLM Case Status spreadsheet is updated. Use your existing link or the one below to access. It works best with a GMAIL account.
D4L - VPLM Case Status
Ugh..freaking autocorrect. Meant “thanks” Rapz.
That’s for the confirmation Rapz. Hope all is well.
P2…I believe the only shares Emil exchanged for warrants were the shares he was granted through the anti-dilution clause he entered into when he bought the company. I don’t recall off the top of my head what the exact amount was but feel it’s in the 600M range.
True but it feels like Viaderma was an “accidental” develop from his true passion of podiatry but that’s just my opinion.
Well said. Agree 100 percent!
Thanks to both HD & Prophet for the kind words. I’ve been extremely busy with work stuff over the last few weeks but hoping to find time to update the case status spreadsheet this weekend. Stay tuned.
Agree. It’s painful to watch the continual downward trend but, as a user of the original product, I do believe there is tremendous upside to this company…if only it were managed better or bought outright!
All great point…it’s a Rapz!
Proof here that all the iHub cheerleading in the world can’t help an ineffective CEO manage VDRM in a way that benefits shareholders.
We’ve heard it all before…no more toxic debt, the yield sign is coming down soon, the attorney will fix the letter, CEO had death in family, etc etc. Right now all that seems like a bunch of excuses to cover for inept management! Lack of company transparency breeds contempt & suspicion from shareholders. Sad.
Exactly right! Thanks for the Qualcomm comparison.
Who’s they? The defendants? If so, VPLM n has a right to fight consolidation. Also, if they (Apple, Samsung, et al) consolidate the cases, wouldn’t each defendant need to be transparent with each on their defense strategy and arguments? If so, it wouldn’t make sense to share company propriety tech & software source code with long time business rivals to defeat little Ole VPLM.
LOL. 2 new lawsuits against some of the largest cell phone makers in the world equates to “no measurable activity.” Can’t make this stuff up.
