I agree. They haven't filed in years. No press releases, no communication at all that I'm aware of. Any new shares being dumped now would have to be leftover from their last filing I suppose, if there were any. I have no idea why we have seen this recent price movement or the billion + volume days. To some that's promising. To me, I view it as suspicious, but I am biased.
He has, or at least had, the opportunity to turn it around. I have seen them do this share price run up a few times, and it always ends the same. It is just less effective each time because people aren't stupid.
Even now most of the bulls concern themselves with the share price and not the actual underlying company. For example, making and shipping new products is not the immediate goal. **Announcing** the intention to do so is what's important. Because that gets the share price up.
I would love to see someone take this company and run with it. So much potential and the products are (were?) great. I have used them and they are some of the best. But the CEO is more interested in these quick millions than building an actual solid company. And even though he has pulled the same stunt many times, he still has people on the hook that will tell you he is gonna do it the right way this time! Or at the very least will admit he is running a scam but if you play by his rules you can make money along with him.
And it's not a slow drop. The fins come out in the evening, and the next morning there is a mad rush of people trying to get back what they can once they realize what the financials are saying. They ran my 10k investment up to 26k or so over a month or two. Fins came out in the evening, I barely got out at even the next morning with 10k and within 10 minutes of market open most peoples accounts were smoked. Should I have told everyone what I saw in the fins before I was able to get out? Maybe. I still feel bad for the people that lost a lot. Now here we are a few years later with people that couldn't get out hoping for another run so they can get something back from their investments.
Thank you. Historically (many times in the past), James Ballas would "borrow" money from a friend. Usually around $50,000. Instead of paying it off with cash, even when they had plenty of cash on the books, they pay it off with new issue shares. These shares pay off the debt at a rate of .0001 per share. So 500 million shares for 50k in debt.
Then they would do a few PR's, make some promises etc. and get some volume and price movement happening. Once everyone is excited and buying up shares like crazy they start filtering in those new issue shares. To the tune of hundreds of millions of shares per day sometimes. Selling them at may times the par value of .0001.
So the debtor gets a huge multiple on his 50k, usually millions of dollars (The only 'speculation' here is that Ballas would get a cut. The rest is factually recorded in the financials).
50k loan = millions of dollars worth of shares. And when the fins come out showing the truth of all this, the share price plummets as people realize that their shares now represent a much tinier portion of the overall share count than was listed on the prior financials.
Then they wait a while, 6 mo. to 1 year usually, and start it all over again.
It's and effective scam, and based on the SEC's lack of intervention, a legal one.
I could tell you what it was the last 10 times this happened, but I'm really in no mood to argue with people today and mentioning the facts of this companies history is greeted with attacks every time.
She might agree if you explain they are on sale at almost 30% off today.
I can be converted with facts. Ballas needs to become current (in the USA, apparently I need to add that), and buy back some shares.
I got out around even because within a cpl minutes of seeing in the financials what ballas had done with the dilution I got out as fast as I could. Others weren’t so lucky.
It was at no bid for a long time, and nobody can explain definitively why it moved.
The pumping on the board from years past is still there for everyone to see? No need to take my word for it,all you have to do is look at the boards prior to that 20 billion share dump debacle.
I have facts. They can be found here: https://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/UBQU/disclosure and are the only facts that matter at this point.
I bring up history because ballas hasn’t done anything new to offset it. And I rarely bring it up.
No, that CZ filing in Ireland is completely irrelevant to ubqu.
The new cannazal.com site doesn’t mention ubqu or hemplife anywhere that I can find.
Betting on a company to become current when they are years behind, and then getting mad at people pointing out that they are years behind, is ridiculous. I hope you all do get rich off of them, but someone needs to temper this bait board with some damn facts. Too many people lost too much money last time because only the pumpers were talking and anyone not pumping was attacked. Seems familiar.
I told you I could be converted. I just need something besides big hopes to go on.
Man, you guys get riled up when someone posts something that's not wishful thinking. Anyway, is there an investor page like they used to have? I couldn't find anything on the cannazall.com website relating it to ubqu, but I'm sure it's there somewhere.
He probably cheats at golf too.
Most platforms also have a "market depth" screen, or something similar, that will show you a breakdown of all buy and sell orders posted at any given time. It's really useful for spotting intraday trends and such.
It's not a matter of belief or disbelief. I just can't find, try though I might, any sign that Ballas has changed his ways and wants anything more from this company than to scam shareholders like he did for all those years. If you have actual evidence to the contrary, or even things Ballas has done to redeem himself I would be very open to hearing them. How much everyone WANTS this stock to run, or how much they HOPE he has good intentions are irrelevant. For me, after the last time Ballas screwed me and so many other investors, only actions will speak to his intentions.
No. I was considering the implications of the new volume and other info posted on the board to see if I maybe wanted to jump back in for a small amount. That's when it occurred to me that it would fit Ballas' M.O. to do something like that. As has been shown in the replies, I'm not the only one skeptical of Ballas.
Careful. Considering anything negative will have the regular rainbows and sunshine people questioning your intentions.
Nah, pure speculation based on his past antics.
Hopefully the recent volume wasn't ballas dumping his remaining shares into a pending delist. I don't know if that's criminal or not, but it should be.
Lol, it's the delayed quotes.
Could be. Aside from the owners name, and "C-Z" being maybe a vague reference to cannazall, it doesn't seem to be related to UBQU at all. It's definitely not UBQU becoming current.
It says it's a private company registered in Northern Ireland in 2019, filing yearly confirmation statements. Says it has no assets and that James Ballas, born 1980, is the sole owner.
I don't own any. I got out at even when the 2018(?) fins came out showing that 10b more shares had been added. I came back to see if anything positive was going on with the company. Hoping for new management, updated financials, new products, anything to make it worth investing in. Found nothing besides the same "to the moon for no apparent reason" comments, no updated financials, etc. So you won't have to read more of my bearish posts as I did not find what I was looking for and will now be moving on to other things. Best of luck to you all.
How many shares do they have though? in 2016 ubqu had outstanding shares in the millions. By 2018 it was near 20 billion because ballas kept encouraging people to buy them and making 'promises' all while dumping shares into it and making himself a fortune at their expense.
I meant the same argument that ubqu can have some miracle run out of nowhere that will make everyone a ton of money, despite years of evidence to the contrary. I don't doubt some money could be made here. A move to .001 would make a lot of you a lot of money, and that's not an unreasonable target. Telling someone that this stock can hit 1.00 off of a tweet or some other ridiculous fluke is just wrong. I hope you all become millionaires from ubqu, but that same hope for a miracle has lead many people, some still on this board, to lose a good amount of money because they ignored the red flags all over the financials and the obviously dishonest actions of management.
I've been seeing this same argument for ubqu for years. I suppose it's possible that the share price could go on some kind of unjustified rip, but I'm not betting my money on a hope of a miracle. So realistically, even hitting a penny would make it a 200 million dollar company, which is just not a realistic expectation for a company that has been so poorly managed they are lucky to not be in jail.
That would make it a multi (20?) billion dollar company. Unless they buy back almost all of the shares, that will not happen. It was valued around 4m years ago when they were actually producing/shipping product, communicating regularly with investors and customers, and trying to actively grow the company. Right now it's valued between 7m and 14m depending on where the share count is between 10b and 20b shares.
You guys should make the breakout boards on just those damn "Boooooooom" "Booooooom" messages alone.
Didn't someone load up on billions in the 0007-0008 range the other day? That's gotta hurt.
You spoke to Ballas?
I saw some crazy volume and price rise this week. I hope it goes well.
That name change was announced yearly by ubqu mgmt. Never went through, but it did run the stock price up a bit the first cpl times they pulled it. They also like to announce new products that never see the light of day, and give early access ordering options to email subscribers. Those orders are rarely filled, but they will sure enough let you place the order and pay for it.
Not long after I got out it topped 20 billion shares. As far as I know they haven't filed in many years so I have no clue what it is now. I still say Ballas should be in jail, but he may not even be involved in the company anymore. I have no idea who is running things this time around.
It was much lower. Not even 100M. You can look back through their financials. They have many billions of shares outstanding now.
Are you guys loading up now or selling? This is what happens every time right as they prepare to dump billions. it has happened countless times.
Because James Ballas dumps billions of shares every chance he gets. Every share added by Ballas makes your shares worth just a little less. He has no conscience and should be in prison.
There was a group here last year, some are still here, that between them have to be pushing those numbers. They have been accumulating for years.
You guys that have been here snatching up a few mil a day for years should own the damn company by now.
Since the SEC doesn't seem to care, I wonder if you guys could file a lawsuit of your own. Ballas just straight up scammed everyone. No denying that part.
What are you trying to say, man?
This company was destroyed by corrupt management. It's right there in the financials, which any decent trader would have read. Now you're sitting people down and preaching to them like Cramer? lol.
I closed on UBQU with a minimal profit because I read the fins and saw what was coming. It tanked within 24 hours and never recovered. If you lost money here, maybe I should have sat you down and preached some due diligence to you?
