Does this company ever provide updates? Weren't they going to hire a IR person months ago?
He's MIA. Doesn't seem to understand all the duties of running a public company.
If Carona is the only thing holding back news, why was news not flowing up until Carona hit? The company hasn't provided consistent updates for a long, long time... which is one of the nain duties of a public company. At the very least, why have they stopped asked and answered? Now for the second time....
I tend to agree. I used to think Roger's silence meant he had some big reveals in the works... but at a certain point I realized silence meant nothing major was happening. When Roger has something noteworthy to say, he says it immediately (sometimes prematurely). So, no news is bad news imo. Which sucks, bc there's been little good news for a long time with FUNN.
They're terrible at communication. No idea why. Seems like such an obvious part of running a public company... but here we are at .01. So frustrating.
I hate to say it, but constant tweeting about another company probably indicates they dont have much good to say about their own company. These pink sheet company are so frustrating. They really dont know how to run public companies. They run them like private companies, which they are NOT.
Its absolutely ridiculous imo the company has is so silent. Its clear to me now they dont inderstand what running a public company entails. They run it like a private company, only problem is... its NOT! Shareholders been getting killed for years now bc they neglect their basic duties.
Why did asked and answered stop? In fact, why has most communication stopped?
Yea not sure why they're not updating on and promoting their own company. These CEOs don't seem to comprehend one of the major functions is to honestly promote their company and keep shareholders updated. These are not private companies...
I dont think the audit was completely their fault, but communication with shareholders and the market generally has been atrocious. They dont promote this stock or protect shareholders hardly at all. A public company needs to keep its stock price up by honestly promoting itself so it can raise money at reasonable levels and minimize dilution. To let the stock price keep falling while doing little to stop it is a direlection of duty imo...
I also believe FUNN will weather this storm, however, the company put itself in such a vulnerable position way before corona was even a thing.
For two years the company has done little to promote itself or protect its shareholders. In fact the CEO has gone mostly silent since the whole audit debacle began. To me this is FUNNs biggest liability, especially on the pinks. A company always has to promote itself and protect shareholders. I'll say it again... a company ALWAYS has to promote itself and protect shareholders. This is running a public company 101. For whatever reason this company doesnt do that, and hasnt for years. That is why we are in the position we are in. Corona was just the icing on the cake. Try raising money at this stock price... pathetic really, especially considering what a good story we had here.
In the end, the CEO and the company need to promote the stock, raise money at reasonable prices, protect shareholders....rinse and repeat. The laissez faire approach the company has taken running the public aspect of this company has brought us to the brink. Im pissed and saddened by this whole thing. A major aspect of running a public company has been neglected and it must change now! Otherwise we're all toast imo. FUNN the ball is in your court - start communicating with shareholders. Its your duty.
For whatever reason Roger doesnt communicate much with shareholders. Problem is this is a PUBLIC company and that is one of the CEOs responsibilities of a PUBLIC. He used to but the audit debacle appears to have changed him. Now, he runs this like a private company imo. I believe hes done some good things, however, he doesnt know how to head and navigate a PUBLIC company imo. He just doesnt have the experience.. a new CEO who understands the public entity aspect is needed in my imo.
One thing about this company is they have so much potential but I don't think they know how to navigate being a public company. Its run like a private company. There is little promotion of the stock and little communication to the markets at large... thus an inability to raise money at reasonable levels. Unfortuantely this alone could sink the company, let alone corona.
I think everyone that truly cares about the success of this company needs to email them and thoughtfully explain that they are neglecting a major aspect of what it means to be a public company. Cuz if they dont change things soon, we could all be toast...
The company has so much potential... but its leadership does nothing to promote the stock or protect its shareholders. The silence is sickening...
Everyone here should email the Ceo and tell him he's ignoring a big part of what it means to lead a public company.
Problem is Roger does not seem to understand the public aspect of the company... promoting the stock, raising money based off share price, protecting shareholders, etc. He hardly does any of this... He runs Amfil more like a private company. Until this changes, i dont see anything but dilution and increased AS.
I'm long and used to be extremely bullish, but ever since Roger went silent during the audit issues, my confidence has dropped along with the share price. We need a CEO that cares about share price and acts accordingly. Right now we dont have that imo and I'm pissed.
What are people's honest opinion of the long term outlook of this stock? Not looking for unrealistic opinions either bullish or bearish. Just honest opinions.
Obviously where we are is terrible. Yearly revenues are more than our current market cap. However, cafes are shutting down over corona and its unclear how much revs come in from other sources. In addition, the company has let the delayed audits completely define the company, and they do hardly anything to promote the stock. They need money and raising it at these levels is pathetic.
In any event, all honest opinions welcome...
It seems Roger let the audit debacle completely define the narrative and thus the stock price. At a certain point he went silent, which killed momentum... The CEO of a public company has to always protect shareholders, and he did not do that. He let the stock price dive into the toilet. Now corona hits and its exacerbating the situation. Through all of this, still Roger remains silent. Good luck trying to raise money at this price. This is business 101. The company didnt protect shareholders and longs should be pissed...
Roger doesn't seem to understand the public aspect of the company. He runs it like a private company, completely ignoring the stock price. He's ignorant in that respect...
He let the audit delay define the entire company. Doesnt seem to have any urgency on much ever since...
I still havent given up completely, though my confidence has certainly waned...
FUNN has to start promoting the company. This laissez faire approach is killing stock price and shareholders. Start promoting!
Problem is the company's lack of clear and consistent promotion allows CDEL to attack. Its like management is running the company like a private company... ignoring the public aspect of the company could ultimately be its downfall... and its sad to see.
I was so bullish on this stock until recently, but not seeing the company promote itself in any significant way, has made me much more skeptical. I think they're making a huge and risky mistake by ignoring the public aspect of this company...
Plow... what's your view of the dilution? Having to raise money at these depressed prices?
Unfortunately this stock is currently broken...and the company does little to promote it. Sad but true.
Unfortunately the company doesnt seem to want to fight for its share price. Theyre taking the laissez faire approach, hooing the stock price catches up with the underlying value. However, as rocket and others have noted, this is an extremely risky approach.
So you believe under .04 is the correct value for FUNN? We need to get our momo back and the only way I see that happening is if the company puts a concerted effort in to promote the stock....
Seems to be headed in right direction.
I think you're missing Rockets point, which is simply to tell FUNNs story in a professional and honest way in order to attract investors and get the stock price up. That way they can raise more money with fewer shares to fuel expansion. Thats the real win win. Your theory that a lower stock price is a good thing so investors can accumulate neglects the reality of the marketplace. You may have a zillion shares but if the company goes bankrupt because they dilute shares into eternity, your shares are worth zippo. Like Rocket said, thats public markets 101. I fully understand and believe what Rocket says is true... Ill be reaching out to Roger today.
Please post rogers email and other contact info so we can all present a united front.
Yea I dont see uplisting as a major caralyst... its still a penny stock. Just tell the story in a professional manner as you've stated... its a great story to tell.
Why would lower stock price be funny? Ulterior motives perhaps?
Funn is a real company with real revenues... 11 million and counting...
What is your best guess on the bid whacks? Flippers? Longs?
Here's the bottom line on this company... its big enough and successful enough that many, many people are carrying their games, visit their restaurants, and comment on their stock's message board. It also has enough potential that everyone here is devoting their precious energy towards the company... in the end that says it all!! Think about it ...
This is big on many different levels... sounds like they have some deeper pockets behind them now, which is huge.
Still dont know why the company doesn't hire an IR firm to tell the company's story? Its beyond me... There's so much good news to spread but investors are left to figure it out on their own...
Thanks Beevo for the effort...
Anyone who posts consistently on a particular stock board, must really like the potential of that stock. Funn for the win again :)
Soar? This has nothing to do with stocks and everything to do with basic decency :)
Yep. Sounds like you need a lesson on the proper way to conduct yourself...
I think its time to work on the way you conduct yourself jon. Every post i see of yours is obnoxious and meant to hurt others... is that really how you like to go through life? Time to clean it up!
Is this really how you spend your time... feigning disbelief, while at the same time trying to irritate ppl. Wouldnt it be better to quietly trade or invest according to your own DD, while being honest and positive. Seems like a better way to spend your days...
