So happy for you Jollymon!!!
Worried about you. Let us know what happens tomorrow please. Hoping for the best for you!
I think your reverse merger makes sense... but I doubt Apple would ever buy Eontec/LQMT because Apple just doesn't buy manufacturers. We'll see though!
My thoughts exactly!!!
.158 please!
Perhaps a "special dividend"... one knife for every 1,000,000 shares!
Regarding patent expiration, we've got 20 years from the filing dates for all the CIP stuff... so they're not exactly "expiring" anytime soon.

You'll be sad at $15!!! ;)

I wonder if it's because they couldn't facilitate live streaming on the company's website, or if they are hyper vigilant about slipping anything that could screw up anything with Apple and/or Li so they deemed it best to just keep exposure minimal.
Management has not responded to my inquiry but a representative from the conference very quickly responded with: "Liquidmetal management elected not to webcast their presentation." They should probably let us know when they make decisions like that after announcing we'll be able to watch the live stream and/or replay. Very disappointing.
Does anyone find it sad that the person responsible for Media Relations at Liquidmetal Technologies has 0 connections on LinkedIn? I went there to find his e-mail address to ask him why yesterday's promised streaming presentation was never posted. I wonder if he even has an e-mail address...

AND consequently generate increasing service revenue which looks to be Apple's end game.
Any idea what happened to the live stream?
Jolly, put me in for .171 if it's not taken please.
Does anyone out there agree that it sounds so incredibly ridiculous when Tim Cook proudly exclaims, "This is the best iPhone we've ever made!" with every new iPhone announcement? Tim, OF COURSE IT IS! We aren't all here to listen about the not-best iPhone you've ever made. Someone in marketing needs to come up with a better line.
Absolutely bizarre! Can anyone on the board explain this?
To all the folks scoffing at the extension of the deadline for Li to transfer the remaining funds to the US who say it was easy enough for him to transfer the first $8.4 million... Isn't it possible that he already had $8.4 million parked in the US from other business ventures, so it needn't be transferred out of China? Maybe that's why the deal was broken into tranches in the first place.
Hopefully he's busy setting up the European sales network mentioned on the last CC!
Something that would be nice to see is U.S. patent filings involving Lugee Li.
I'm eager to be filthy rich reading about "how LiquidMetal changed the world":
http://sploid.gizmodo.com/how-aluminum-changed-the-world-1785706570
There is no relation between LiquidMetal and metals that are liquid at room temperature. These have no relation to our company.
Could there be a delay between the sending of funds by Li and the confirmation of receipt by LQMT? Is it possible funds have been sent but LQMT is waiting for them to clear before the announcement?
On the contrary, Apple might have brokered the deal to unite Liquidmetal with a capable Chinese manufacturing partner. Liquidmetal is not in a position to put pressure on Apple, nor do I think management is deluded enough to think they could.
I don't think we'd get any additional information from questions asked on the cc. It's all just empty words and talk is so incredibly cheap. I wish I could forget everything about LQMT, like a $20 bill stuffed into a coat pocket at the end of night out. Then many months later, reach into that pocket to find the forgotten bill had multiplied many, many times over since I last wore it.
I hear you Gorgol. I recently went through some very tough medical stuff and didn't check this board for over a month. I must say it was very refreshing not to read the constant speculation for a while. It sounds like you could use an extended break yourself! Give it a solid month and I promise your depression will lift! Hang in there. Don't let it get you down. I lost a ton of book value today, but this will eventually go up. I just can't imagine any other outcome. These guys aren't scam artists. It's just very tough to get this technology to market, but I really do think it will happen. I won't put a time horizon on it, but I think we're past the midpoint of the wait. It'll be worth the wait.
I heard that too! What was your interpretation of that? Was it Steipp/Chung??
Have you considered the possibility that China was a strategic move? Apple manufactures iPhones (and most if not all of their components) in China.
We wait 3 long months for these updates and questions are cut off ridiculously short after what appear to be "planted" calls. Respect for the shareholders would be a refreshing change of pace from management!
NO OTIS, and PLEASE outsource these to a reputable ad agency!!! LiquidMetal does not have in-house marketing savvy.
It always feels like Steipp runs away from the "firing squad" as quickly as he possibly can.
When's the last time you saw an Aluminum or Plastic commercial? It would be a huge waste of money to run a national ad.
Thinking positively, right now the share price is depressed by the uncertainty that Li's full investment will go through. Once it does go through, the price must increase significantly. Take away the uncertainty, and shares are inherently more valuable. I'm excited for the announcement that the deal has gone through. The question is: WHEN will the announcement be???
My bet is that nothing that has occurred since June 30 will be mentioned on the call. These guys love stretching news out as far as it will stretch. I hope I'm wrong!
The REAL breakthrough will be constant solar charging through the display!!!
I was SO CLOSE to liquidating my entire sizable position ONE TRADING DAY before the Lugee Li news broke. Luckily, my spouse talked me out of it. If I had sold out, I would probably have had a heart attack when the PPS doubled the next trading day after all these years of time/energy/money spent on LQMT. I have to stay for the long haul because I think the psychological repercussions of going to $0.00/share are dwarfed by the repercussions if I exit my position and then the stock takes off.
The alloy mentioned is different than ours... thoughts?

Note that he has ZERO connections on LinkedIn... is he THAT lazy?!?
