Is a "squeeze" when the bollinger bands come close together?
Thanks William, and good question Pit.
I'm all about good questions! Especially when their are people around to properly answer them.
Tech: I've been learning that when it comes to TA, patience is a virtue!
So... What technical indicators am I looking for now that will tell me when to sell a certain percentage of my holdings?
Tech:I stand corrected &:o) EOM
Look at those MACD lines, creeping closer, looks as if they will touch right above the 0.
This is exciting to watch from a TA standpoint, I am excited to see if this MACD theory really works!
Thanks for the links everyone.
Someone please help me understand Aroons.
Or please provide me with a link to a good description.
How do they help people swing trade and how do you know to use Aroon (5) for GTEL?
Thank you!
The lower MACD line has curved up and it seems as though it's going to touch the upper line just above the 0.
What do you think about SHRN's chart?
To me it looks great because the two MACD lines are coming together but I'm just a beginner at TA so please elaborate for me.
Any TA guys in here?

techbear: Although there are not many posters on this board, I believe that their are many people who read it.

lowtrade: Thanks, but what do you mean by signal line?
newguy13: IMO we are all waiting for news...
There is not much to discuss at this point. All the facts about this company are listed on the main GTEL board. Mr. Huff has told us what to expect, all we can do for now is wait on the expected events to occur.
I'm sure techbear and all the other TA people are waiting for news before they make their next predictions/analysis as long as the news comes soon.
It seams the MACD lines are moving further apart again. Any comments?
IMO: Krantz article
The fact that Krantz wrote an article on GTEL is proof that the stock is under many people's radars right now!
He must have been bombarded with questions relating to GTEL.
IMO
How is support on level 2?
I wonder if they're trying to fake what happened two weeks ago.
tech,

Thank you Techbear for volunteering your time to all of the GTEL shareholders and potential shareholders.
Rocky, this was an excellent decision.
Welcome back welcome back welcome back!

Furthermore,
the fact that there are people here that actually know what they are talking about and are experienced traders helps prove
to me that GTEL is a solid investment. As long as the TA is in relation to GTEL I think that it is an important topic.
With that said, I believe that it would be great if there was a seperate forum for TA on GTEL, a seperate forum for pure facts, and a forum for GTEL discussion but this is one of the GREAT limitations to using IHub.
In regards to my TA questions, I would have much rather sent private messages but I cannot do so unless I pay a monthly subscription to Ihub.
Final question,
how do you tell when the stochastics are showing that the stock is overbought?
Thanks again!
Yes, this has been a very productive day at charting school. So what other indicators other than RSI do people look at when they sell half their shares into strength? I think think I said that right...
wolfrun: yes i understand the RSI part, I wanted to further understand the confirmations. Also how do you get a real-time 3month/1year RSI reading?
So this is why these bashers and pumpers love GTEL!
tech: lol you're right... it's too late at that point to sell, I guess that's why it's better to have a bigger chart! (the web site says you have to subscribe for the bigger chart) So how do you know when to sell half your shares?
techbear, I've also noticed that when the MACD lines cross it can also bee a good indicator of when to sell a stock after a rally as can be seen in the following links:
http://stockcharts.com/def/servlet/SC.web?c=EZTO,uu[m,a]daclyyay[db][pb50!b200][vc60][iUh14,3!La12,2...
http://stockcharts.com/def/servlet/SC.web?c=GTEL,uu[m,a]daclyyay[db][pb50!b200][vc60][iUh14,3!La12,2...
Thanks everyone, the more I learn the better off I am. I have noticed that when the 2 stochastic lines converge the volatility is high, at least this is what I see in the GTEL chart correct?
Please, what is a stall in Stochastic?
Techbear,
Please post when RSI reaches 70, or when you think it is overbought.
Thanks,I want to try this averaging thing
Thanks for everything Rocky,
I've made a respectable sum of money so far because of you! Thanks to the new administrators for taking the responsibility of keeping this board alive.
Rocky, there are all kinds of message board formats out there that I'm sure would meet your needs, hopefully you can start a new one some day and if you do make sure you let me know!
All the best,
Fashionman
I agree, actually, the day that
RCO (Amex) split, every one the yahoo message board were telling everyone to set a sell price over $5.00 and not to set stops. The sp ended up going from 1.20 after r/s all the way over $5.00 in a few days. I'm sure that wasn't the only reason the stock shot up so high but it may have had something to do with it. I later set a stop at 4.11 and coincidentally the stock dove down to $4.00 and shot back up to $5.00. Whatever, at least I made a serious profit.
The moral of the story is not to set stop limits on the AMEX or OTCBB because the MM's/specialists/whoever play on them.

From my small amount of experience, I believe that it means we won't get walked down 30% until the next time we're on the list. lol!
Thanks wolfrun, is there an equation for RSI or do you just go to
http://www.stockta.com/cgi-bin/analysis.pl?symb=GTEL&num1=11&cobrand=&mode=stock
The reason for my question is because my live ticker's RSI level shows 60.85 and www.stockta.com shows that the RSI is 48.26.
Pit, remember when the sp was around .35 and you said that it was way overbought and that it was going to fall the next day...
What was the RSI that day?
