My wife and I are still confident that someone(s) on the Fresno council wants this deal to expire. For what political or practical reason is anybodies guess. The pusher of the project moves on to greener fields and is lauded for his service to tye city, however now without fan fare the project will die never besmirching it's originator. Politics at it's finest. One would almost quesrion/wonder at the timing.
1. The champion isn't prepared for the initial presentation.
2. Members of the council aren't prepared (haven't studied the material sent over) for the second time around.
3. The champion announces moving on to brighter future. (Retiring)
4. Council proclaimes Champion Day. Honors years of dedicated service to the city. Wishes champion well in the future life outside the city.
5. Project appears to be now ignored by city. No champion around to push the agenda.
6. October 8th quite death of project.
7. World moves on. All happy except for those that got the shaft. The rest got the house.
Does make one wonder now doesn't it.
Ah yes. You mean when we actually posted hopes, fears, and logical discourse when we did post?
"Time is a circle never ending"
Yeah? Well all I can say is yada, yada, yada!
Yeah Mark , did you enjoy the boreing down turn tye market too on goodnews of no rate increase? Jack ass traders everywhere.
Big Fed day. Could be a wild ride. GLTA
FINALLY a piece of logical rendering. A well written, no emotional crap, piece that leaves the reader to have their own take on what has happen so far. Yes, I think there is some form of fraud here, however the question is WHO is committing the fraud. There is no evidence being presented in this piece that allows us, encourages us, to point a finger at ANY ONE ENTITY as the guilty party.
Logical discourse beats emotional spewing every time.
Bottom line, there is a problem Houston, however we can't seem to figure out where or what it is just yet. Please standby for further details as they become available.
All suppositions without supporting facts are no more than that. SUPPOSITIONS!
They all piss me off one way or another, but when I'm not pissed I would have to say TD is better than the rest.
If you have to dance with the devil I don't think they use their horns as much as some of them do.
Sub SLTD and a couple of others and I think you have the same story. The fact that naked shorting is illegal means nothing if it can't be enforced.
Although I said I was done posting here, I find I must post one more. Thank you for sound, sane thoughtfull well research opinion along with some useful facts.
It is more than refreshing to see this type of post. A rarity. I only have one tenth of your interest, however my interest is not exceed by yours. We can do nothing but sit and watch as the story unfolds. Crys of scam, fraud and deceivers will change nothing as to the outcome. GLTUAA
Exactly. The SEC is allowed to suspend trading, driving a company into the gray market through no fault of their own, and is the SEC held accountable for running a company out of business because of their ill conceived knee jerk reaction. NO! That agency can be ten times more deadly than any scam.
In case anyone has forgotten today is 9/11. In the overall scale of things in this world the crap we post here means nothing. That is unless you consider how we got the right to be obnoxious and also what it cost to have that right. Our freedom didn't come cheaply. Our right to insult each other comes with a price tag that some fellow citizen somewhere is about to pay so we can have those rights.
Just in case anyone has forgotten, today is 9/11. Maybe a stop fora moment to be thankfull for what we have, and why we have it!
THE MARKET IS NOT CLOSED TODAY!!! I just completed a trade.
Exactly what answere areyou looking for. If it is "is the market closed?" THE ANSWER IS NO! It probably should be though.
Not sure you would call it a holiday more of a remembrance of thousands that died in the 9/11 attacks.
Gee, you mean to say there are rules to cover things like that? OMG! What is it all coming to?
Well we have at least two voices of reason today. In case anyone is wondering I hold a little over a million shares, so ask me if I'm concered about what comes next? Damn right I am. On the other hand I have to look at my divy amount and say well done. I won't break even if this all goes away but I won't have lost it all.
Now, having been part of a couple of mergers and take overs, I can tell you that the joke we all do that we call DD is NOTHING compared to what goes on in buyouts, mergers etc. absolutely no stone is left unturned. A highly qualified team of managers, VPs and accountants, experts in every phase of a business, like mining for example, descends on the companies and by the time they are done they know every little secret of each other. Of course they all sign papers promising not to act on this knowledge should the deal fall through, but still they know. And if there are anomalies they will need to be addressed prior to any deal being consumated. Oh yeah, did I mention that in the case of publicly traded companies that the SEC will be right in the middle of it all.
Cyberslute opinions aside, there is no way to hide anything when two companies plan a merger. Cry fraud, scam etc. all you want. You will still be dead wrong and a asinine opionion at that.
I have little doubt that this circus will be ending soon and that only the true investers here will ever know what happened.
Please provide proof to back up your speculation. It would appear that the feds did'nt and don't agree with your Assessment.
Couldn't agree more!

Personal Message from Chief Executive Officer & President, Adam Carter
"Before considering this decision, every possibility was explored. Due to the stock price and delisting to the Grey Market, the board of directors saw no alternative but to execute this course of action.
"We are expecting solid growth and do not want to repeat previous errors that were committed by third party institutions. We wish to step away from the public markets, which have only put financial pressure on the Company with no guaranteed end; and instead point our efforts on growing and generating more revenue.
"I would also like to pass on some information that we are working on. In addition to our existing copper mines, we are looking to expand into gold mineral exploration. The merger with Milagros Del Cobre Mineria S.A. DE C.V. has created an excellent opportunity for old and new investors to capitalize on our growth. I encourage investors interested in receiving an investment proposal to contact us immediately."

Ya think? Maybebuyingback stock isdifferant.
Just sittin on the dock of the bay wastin time.
Look like nothin's gonna change
Everything, still remains the same
I can't do what ten people tell me to do
So I guess I'll remain the same.
Proof of statement please. i could just throw one out tyere that says 90% return to profit.
And ur point is?
And every case ends tye same way? Right?
I have no idea. Ask your broker.
This company has a history of making statements regarding the business. The lack of a statements at this time only means they haven't put together an informative non speculating, thought sequence. Unlike most they appear to be thoughtful, or have been in the past, rather than inciting speculation that can not be proven one way or the other. Any such speculation on our part is simply not logical and is just that. Speculation.
And I have traded for many years longer. I am in my seventies and doing quite well. I do however tend to,ignore those who make statements and then tell,me to do the research to validate or not validate a unsubstancuated statement.
And you of course have checked the follow-up and history of all these companies listed? Or Is it your assumption that because they were listed and suspended that this was the death knell of the company, believing so with no proof? A list doesn't equate to a death certificate. And please, do not lable meas someone who assumes, unless of course you choose to make assumptions. Please break down ala Felix the word assume.
Please list your supporting documents for your facts. I am not one to , just take my word for it. If you are going to make bold statements then please provide support for such statements.
What is really fab here is tye ability of the company to buy back stock at a really really cheap price. They can get the stock off the market without spending the entire treasury. Yep, guess I'm stoned! But won't be the first time I have made a bundle off others stupidity. Keep it coming. Will enjoy every last penny when I cash out.
I would have to guess that it is because the broakerage houses havn't updated yet. I suspect what we can see is dark pool or telephone activity.
Let me see If I have this right. The company is cleared of wrong doing. Tye company stock resumes trading. The PPS takes a nose dive based on the above good news. Exactly what part of this senerio is the stupid, not well thought out, ignorant part?
Absolutely amazing! You get told there is no scam here and you respond by craping all over the PPS!
Well keep driving it down fools. It just makes it that much cheaper for me to buy today and laugh at the fools tomorrow as I count up my profits.
The cheap loan will probably have to be renegotiated if the Feds raise interest rates. Fresno is set up differantly than our goverments here. Apparently they can carry old business into the new financial year. Most all here if you didn't act in the budget year you have to start over. Anyway, I think if they approve the project before the feds act they should be ok.
And it has no bearing on the PPS. No single factor has any bearing on what the markets around the world are doing. Even good news today in regards to work force etc. had no positive affect. It is what it is.
What browser are you guys using. I use chrome on the imac and can not see what you are talking about. I mean I don't see text running outside boxs etc. is it a pretty page to look at? No. Could use quite a bit of work. I wonder if it is because of Googles new policy in regards to mobile app, HTML 5, readiness?
I don't believe that anybody here who is paying attention to the world markets thinks that Fresno is the cause of our non movement. If you haven't noticed the whole world is in a slump.
Fresno was never part of JN's guidance so why should anyone be worried. Getting it will just be icing on the cake. In the meantime I feel that all shareholders have a right to seek any updates they wish to have as to it's status.
We have an ignore button for those who don't like to hear about SLTD prospects.
Good news. We need more of this kind of exposure.
I took lessons from Don Rickles. He was never the same afterwards.
