Way to go, Cab! You are becoming the email King, lol. And, I agree that it is a good idea to update folks and keep GTEL in everyone's thoughts (not to mention in print).
Sorry, Rocky. I guess this old noggin' is not working so well these days. I probably made the mistake because you give us so much info all the time, I figure you know everything, lol.
BTW, Happy New Year to you, and all. Here's hoping GTEL does well in the coming monthe and year(s). Good fortune to us!
Wonderful posts, thanks! Rocky, you used to post some great charts on RB. Would you consider posting a recent chart with comments here? I am trying to work out if it looks like GTEL will pull-back into the single digits once more before the "big bang" in Jan/Feb. I should have a few more bucks soon for more shares and I am hoping we get one more pull-back. I really appreciate your help, all of it. Thanks.
There's the 300 "take them down". Would love to see it ignored!
WOW! I have been ignoring GTEL lately but happened to check in today for this lovely surprise. Nice to see it above .10 again. Hope it stays there this time. And, I hope everyone is enjoying whatever holiday time they have. Go GTEL!
Welcome, Soren. It is lovely to see someone from Denmark on the board. I had the good fortune to visit your lovely country many years ago as a young person and fell in love with it.
Good fortune to you and to us all.

Good morning, everyone. What an exciting two days we have had. What comes next? I suspect either a gap-up with a short run then a pull-back with some major profit taking or just a pull-back. The third and most delightful possibility would be a continued controlled rise in pps with a possible blow-out upon reaching .15. There is no way to know for sure, though past experience lends me gut feelings. Whatever happens, I wish us all good fortune and look forward to GTEL's adventures in 2005.
Is anyone else holding their breath?
new interday high at .0770. Yes!
this is what they call accumulation
Perhaps spurred by the news. Having the military show interest is favorable I would think.
Yes, that is true...and, why I have been staying away. It was making me crazy, lol. But, I am curious about the volumn.
pps is moving now, though in the wrong direction. Sure would love to understand what is going on.
I see it. Would certainly help the volumn, eh?
Hello everyone. I have been lurking but have to say I am happy at the p/u in volumn. Have not seen 7mm by 10:15 in some time, though, I have to admit I have not been watching everyday as I used to. Here's hoping the pps continues to climb. It would be a great holiday gift to see it at 10+ again, hum?
Happy Thansgiving to you, too, Cab, once again, lol, and, to Everyone. Here's hoping we all have a good day off and a good day back on Friday. :)
Good Morning. GTEL moving up with strength. Sure would like to see it brake .08, and, it is trying. Luck to us all.
Thanks, Rocky, for all your good posts. This is one huge disappointment. Yes, I know that in a few years it may go somewhere, but, that is quite different than what I had hoped. I am down more money than I can afford with no hope of seeing it come back for a long time. OK. I'll stop griping; this is why I rarely post now...just nothing good to say. Hope you are well. It is getting cold here in Maine.
Hi Guys. Been too depressed to post but I have been watching. I see we are now in the .06's. Seems like by now we should be moving a bit higher, but, then what do I know. Here's hoping GTEL did actually make some money and that their predictions are good on the 15th (and that they we do hear on the 15th.) My fincial situation is bleak. GTEL moving up would bring some seasonal cheer. Luck to us.
Well it managed to push the pps up above .09 again. But, there is still no volumn. This whole penny market seems anemic.
Thanks to all of you for your helpful energies. :)
OT: Hi Cab, Sorry it took me so long to reply. Yes, the end of summer
has been much better than the rest of it. It now finally feels like summer, lol. I never did get to go swimming this year as it was too cool and nasty. But, these past 2 weeks have been gorgious; been walking the local beach with my dog frequently, reading will seated watching the everchanging light show and digging toes into the sand. The rose hips are ripe and eddible, though the flowers are still coming and smell so very sweet. The garden is overflowing. Good food fresh from the garden daily.I am so happy to have this time.
Hope you are having a good end of summer, too. 8)
We have come a long way. Last = .1050. Seems like we are still off on the volumn, though, for having passed .1030. Good luck to us. :)
Some of us bought into the TA provided by a certain Stocktrigger guy would was continually advising us to "buy the dips" from .19 on down and to "hold, as this is not the time to sell", and, it was about to "turn around any moment and go to .20+". We were ignorant suckers. With all my heart I wish it were not so. This damn trip has cost me everything.
I am so down and there is nothing I can do now. So don't ask me
"what's to feel bad about."
bugged = budged
The news has not touched the pps; it has not bugged. Rocky, what do you think? TIA.

GTEL Releases Second Quarter 2004 Results; Announces Updates by CEO on Company W

High-Tech Writers / Business Editors
MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GTEL--
GlobeTel Communications Corp. (OTCBB:GTEL), with the
filing of its 10QSB for the second quarter, announced today that for
the three months ended June 30, 2004, the company had revenues of
$3,790,085 and net losses of $867,304. For the six months ended June
30, 2004, GTEL had revenues of $7,000,419 resulting in a net loss of
$2,160,870.
Timothy Huff, CEO of GTEL, pointed out that revenues actually
increased for both the three-month and six-month period, but that
overhead costs increased as the company is undergoing an expansion and
moving fast forward with the Stored Value Card and IP telephony
programs. Mr. Huff stated, "We are all excited about the future of
GTEL. We have hired experienced personnel who will ensure the smooth
business transition as we concentrate more on our value added
applications, along with the carrier side of business. We are
confident that our investments in 2004, in personnel, technology and
applications, will result in healthy, profitable operations for the
years to come."
The company also announced that Mr. Huff has posted his letter to
the shareholders detailing his visions of GTEL's operations as well as
his forecast for the rest of the year 2004 through 2006. To read the
Shareholders letter please go to the following link:
http://www.globetel.net/letter.htm
The revenues for the three-months and six-months ended June 30,
2004 represent increases of 26.50% and 14.90%, respectively. The
gross margin decreased substantially as a result of increased costs of
terminating traffic and also due to related party transactions in 2003
that had significant margins that did not exist in 2004. Gross margins
were $101,417 for the three months ended June 30, 2004 compared to
$869,028 during the same period last year. For the six months ended
June 30, 2004, gross margins were $147,009 compared to $1,845,268 in
2003.
Good post squ1dk1d (like squid kid?,lol, I love it!).
Glad to have you aboard. These are amazing times, in this old woman's view. Insane and charged; dangerous and full of potential; frightening and fascinating. The stock market seems to mirror this tension in both obvious and subtle ways. Needs such endless attention but is a fickle playmate.
Good luck to you. I'll be watching for your posts.

I am really glad it is not raining today here in the Northeast; the sun seems to help keep me sane. The sun and the garden. Hope you are all coping, those of you, like me, who have been watching your principal being eaten up for some time, and, even more, today. I wonder if it is safe to average down at .08. Truth is, I have not a clue. Perhaps this lowering of the pps is indicative of the Q2 news coming, and, it will go lower after it. No way to know. Back to the garden.
Maybe not .06 but possibly .08. What do you think, Rocky?
Guess it mostly depends on whether we get a really good Q2 or not. There is really nothing else that is going to move GTEL now except good earnings, imho.
Good Morning, Rocky, lol! Hope the market likes the news. Cannot imagine why they would not. BTW, when are we expecting 2nd quarter news? You have prob. already posted this and I missed it, but, it should be coming up this month, hum? At the meeting maybe? TIA

B: GTEL's Remittance Program Endorsed by Major Filipino Overseas Worker Organizaion
MANILA, Philippines, Aug 3, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- FAME (Federated
Associations of Manpower Exporters, Inc.) announced its intention to endorse GlobeTel's (OTCBB:GTEL) Stored Value Program for 2.5 million Filipinos working overseas. FAME represents over 75% of overseas workers through its member associations and has strong support organizations in many overseas countries, particularly in the USA, Asia, Middle East, Japan, Hong Kong and Europe.
The GTEL remittance program, an application of the Stored Value Concept, will provide a low cost, easy to use, convenient, risk free remittance capability while adding significant other benefits to users of the program. These benefits will include low cost international calling & loyalty discounts.
Leigh Coleman, President of GTEL said: "This endorsement from one of the Philippines most prominent organizations representing overseas workers, shows that GTEL's programs are leading innovations in money remittance programs worldwide. The Philippines is third only to Mexico and India in total value of
international money transfers. We are excited and honored by this recognition from FAME and look forward to providing significant benefits to all workers who shoulder the task of working overseas remitting valuable funds to families at home."
Eduardo Mahiya, Chairman of FAME said: "We at FAME are very careful about endorsing anything that will affect the lives of our people. However, we feel the program offered by GTEL is exactly what we have been looking for to empower our people to better handle their own finances. The program is superb."
Thanks, Cab. Wish GTEL would just give us a run, even a little one. to restore my faith in it.
As I speak, seems to finally be moving again. Here's hoping. :)
I echo that thought! We have hit ten again. Go GTEL!
Very very nice. Thanks, Rocky...and, GTEL.
Have a good w/e everyone. Maybe next week will bring us some good news. One can always hope. ;)
Perhaps they are getting ready for a run-up? Oh, please, please, please, lol!
It is too depressing for words. Everything will sound like either panic or whining. The market stinks and there is not a blessed thing we can do about it. If I had a money left, I would buy some more GTEL whereever it bottoms (.08?). Since I don't, I am spending my time working in the garden, tearing out weeds with personal names on them; very satisfying. At least the sun is shining again (it was hiding for most of spring & summer so far) and them helps keep me from total depression. And, of course, there is the weeding. My best to you all.
Thanks, Cab, for those articles. Very interesting.
new LOD = .0990. Geez. All my profit is gone. This stinks. Time to go do something else, like figure out another way to get some money before I bloody starve. Wolves are at the door and GTEL failed me again. Maybe next time? Or not. If there Q2 is not good, which I suspect will be the case, that should finish us off for awhile. Back to low numbers. Oh hell, I am out of here. Can't stand to watch this any longer. Have a good w/e, all...I will try, but it will be hard.
I am sorry, but I find .1070 at this point disgusting. I mean, the test was apparently a great success. Were we not all waiting for this as a moving point to bring the pps higher? I have doubts about the coming Q2 being sterling, so, frankly, I do not see us moving higher or even staying flat for some time to come. If I did not have so much riding on GTEL, I would not care...would just wait. But, this is getting ridiculous. JMHO.
