Well your wrong again. I posted that PR the night it came out.
Oh brother
Your wrong about being here long before me. I have called and e mailed the company many times and have always got a response. Brent is really good at returning e mails. Brent told me just a few days ago they are working very hard. I know that to be true. I even have his cell phone number. If you gave them your name they know how many shares you have. If you would read the PR's you would know what they are doing.
You don'y make any sense. ROFLMAO :)
aharfo just so you know 70,000 of my shares I bought at .024 :) just think of the rate of return when they are at $10
You can sell your stock now if you are worried. I see people buying right now. :)
Here is a car using vanadium http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subaru_G4e#cite_note-autotrader-ca-1
Subaru G4e

Subaru G4eThe Subaru G4e is an electric car undergoing development and testing by Japanese automaker Subaru. It was unveiled at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show.[1] The car seats five in a functional, accessible interior and has an innovative wedge design with a low 0.276 drag coefficient. It has a range of 200 km and can be fully charged in about eight hours from a home AC power source. A quick charge to 80 per cent of the batteries' capacity is possible in just 15 minutes.[2]
The G4e uses a new, next generation lithium-ion battery developed exclusively by Subaru which employs vanadium technology to allow the battery to store two to three times more lithium ions than conventional lithium-ion batteries.[2][3] The car's battery pack provides 346 volts, and is located underneath the passenger compartment.[1]

URST only has to hit $10 for that to be true. Just do the numbers on 200 millions tonnes of vanadium. Might as well figure twice that amount because after the next drilling results it will probably be more than that. Just sit back and see how the BIG money is made. :)
Yes, TSX listing will help....URST is yet to be discovered by the general market....Be happy you are in under $1
It's all good....More to come :) TSX listing next IMO

We should be hearing news about more drilling and TSX listing very soon. :)
They will be left behind with their shorts standing naked in the street :)
Together, (Harder) and I will help ensure the company stays ahead of and steers through any potential political and financial issues that may arise, and postion the project in the best possible way to potential joint venture partners or buyers." http://www.execdigital.com/Magazine.aspx?id=1585&page=26
joint venture partners or buyers !!!!!!! :) that says alot IMHO
gappa you are right about that :) the 200 million metric tons was a low ball figure. I believe it's atleast twice that much.
The future will be battery powered. The best battery will win. Vanadium makes the best batteries. In You WIN !!!!! IMHO :)
Yep and it's going to be great when they start pulling gold out of the ground and that could be in the very near future :)

I was very surprised to see that also.
I did call the company awhile back and was told pretty much the same as Jonh Paul's post.

Soltera is in the process of filing the 3 quarterly reports in 2008 in order to get current with the SEC. Once they do they can apply to get off the Pink Sheets since they were pushed down to the Pinks on Oct 2, 2008 and they only have to be there for a minimum of 12 months. I talked with the company on Friday (anyone can call them directly) and they are on schedule to do all that AND are working on getting funds together to start pulling gold out of the ground as soon as November. This is a sleeper ready to come back from its coma. Timing is perfect with gold over $1000 and the worst of the recession behind us.
Good to be in from .04 to .10 :) 105k
Yep the over 10 billion dollars of vanadium just went poof into thin air ROFLMAO :) In You WIN
The future will be battery powered. The best battery will win. Vanadium makes the best batteries. The increasing demand for vanadium from both highstrength steels and new battery applications is raising total world demand for vanadium. And because of the incredible magnitude of Uranium Star's Madagascar deposit, the Green Giant could well meet all the world's vanadium needs for decades. "We are positioning the Green Giant Mine to capitalize on the developing 'green' market and the need for efficient battery storage and to ultimately compete as a significant supplier of vanadium to the steel and renewable energy industry," says CEO Kirk McKinnon.
In You WIN :) IMHO
That's much different than how you twisted words saying this ( as even the company said it will take a few years to ascertain exactly what they have in the ground)
The company did not say this !!!!! ( as even the company said it will take a few years to ascertain exactly what they have in the ground)

Vale pays $1.4bn for increased stake in steel maker
The Brazilian miner will pay the money to Germany's ThyssenKrupp Steel
Posted: Tuesday , 22 Sep 2009
SAO PAULO (Reuters) -
Brazilian mining company Vale (VALE5.SA: Quote) said on Monday it agreed with Germany's ThyssenKrupp Steel (TKAG.DE: Quote) to increase its stake in steelmaker Siderurgica do Atlantico (CSA) to nearly 27% from 10% for 965 million euros ($1.42 billion).
The move follows recent pressure from Brazil's government for Vale to invest more in Brazilian industries such as steel.
The Brazilian mining giant said in a statement filed to Brazilian market regulators that it would raise its stake in CSA to 26.87%.
CSA, a project in Rio de Janeiro state that will turn out 5 million tonnes of steel slabs per year, is expected to come online in the first half of 2010 and its iron ore feedstock will be supplied exclusively by Vale.
The plant would be the first large steel mill built in the country since the mid-1980s and Vale said it would be the largest industrial investment the Latin American country has seen for a decade.
President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has criticized Vale in public on several occasions in recent weeks, calling on it to increase employment for Brazilians through the establishment of new steel mills. The government may have even tried to thwart Vale's reported bid for fertilizer giant Mosaic.
Lula's ruling party faces elections in October 2010 and the president will be campaiging for his chosen successor partly on the strength of the economy and jobs created for Brazilians.

The Variability of Renewable Power
Wind and solar power are inherently variable, meaning sometimes the wind doesn't blow and the sun doesn't shine. Then what? Fortunately, smart grid technologies can help manage the unpredictability of wind and solar to help alleviate reliability and stability issues caused by power fluctuations. This will become increasingly important as more wind and solar power is connected to the grid.
Automated demand response technologies will act as a lever that utilities can pull to help lower demand in the event there is a gap in renewable power generation—for instance, if the wind stops blowing. To address such contingencies, a utility may incent consumers to opt into programs that allow certain devices (i.e., water heaters) to be temporarily switched off during peak times.
In the future, storage technologies could also help utilities manage the short-term imbalances in the supply and demand of energy, sometimes caused by the fluctuations of a lot of renewable energy. Batteries will store energy during times of excess wind energy production and discharge that energy via smart grid automation technologies when energy demand exceeds supply.

It's great watching a plan come together and being part of it :)
In You WIN !!!!!! IMHO :)
“Vanadium may therefore hold the key to scaling renewable energy to national levels, helping reducing our dependence on fossil fuels. Beyond these large-scale uses, vanadium has also proven to be effective at combining with lithium-ion batteries to significantly improve their performance - so the next generation of hybrid car batteries may also feature vanadium.”
Well said :) Lots more News coming
In actuality, because of the incredible magnitude of Uranium Star's Madagascar deposit, the Green Giant could well meet all the world's vanadium needs for the next century.
After hours trade .553 just went through :)
Yep, and that's what they are doing now :)
GOT URST ? In You WIN !!!!!

Iron ore trading - financial community's new darling
Lured by increasing volatility, strong Chinese demand and the near collapse of benchmark-pricing, financiers are moving to a more transparent and market-based system
Posted: Friday , 18 Sep 2009
Reuters -
The financial community has stepped up efforts to provide an alternative pricing mechanism for iron ore, one of the few non-exchange traded bulk commodities, lured by its increasing price volatility and strong demand from China.
The move to create more transparent and market-based pricing scheme has gained further momentum this year as the decades-old benchmark pricing system has nearly collapsed following China's rejection to accept term prices agreed between major miners and Japanese and Korean customers.
Cash-settled iron ore swap contracts have so far emerged as one of the most popular tools, while introducing of clearing for these contracts has provided further transparency and helped attract more participants in this emerging market.
The following is a list of services provided by various companies.
BANKS
* Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank launched in May 2008 an over-the-counter (OTC) iron ore paper market, offering cash-based swaps, which are settled against published indices against spot physical iron ore delivered in China.
* Credit Suisse sees its iron ore OTC trade volume doubling this year to around 20 million tonnes, as the benchmark pricing system looks set to break down.
* Morgan Stanley trades cash-settled iron ore swaps against prices provided by the The Steel Index. The bank says their iron ore business is closely linked to dry-freight business.
* Barclays Capital said the bank was still looking to enter into iron ore trading, both physical iron ore and swap contracts, but the decision was yet to be taken.
EXCHANGES/CLEARING HOUSES
* The Singapore Exchange (SGX) launched the world's first cleared OTC iron ore swaps contract in April.
Trade volume jumped more than five-fold to nearly 1 million tonnes in August from its April launch but remained relatively meagre, accounting for less than a day's worth of imports by China.
* London-based clearing house LCH.Clearnet began clearing iron ore swap contracts earlier this year. The contracts are settled against The Steel Index, with the contract size 1,000 metric tonnes.
BROKERS
* London-based brokers Freight Investor Services (FIS) trades a cash-settled iron ore swap contracts, which are cleared by LCH.Clearnet and delivered to China including cost and freight.
The cleared contract operates as an OTC agreement with settlement against The Steel Index. Trades can also be settled bilaterally against the Metal Bulletin MBIO or Platts Iron Ore Index.
* The world's largest interdealer broker ICAP (IAP.L: Quote) in May launched a new brokering service for global iron ore derivatives, through which it delivers derivative trade facilitation, research services to producers and price transparency.
* London Dry Bulk (LDB), jointly owned by Deutsche Bank and London Commodity Brokers, has been brokering both physical iron ore and iron ore swaps since January 2009.
The company brokers non-origin specific FOB and CFR China cargoes of iron ore and as well as iron ore swaps cleared by both SGX and LCH.Clearnet.
LDB brokers these swaps in a voice-brokered OTC market and will also broker swaps settled against any of the three existing iron ore reference prices. But only swaps settled against The Steel Index Iron Ore Reference Price (TSI) can be reported to the clearing houses on conclusion to be cleared.
* Broker GFI (GFIG.O: Quote) started offering iron ore swaps in September, which are cleared on SGX and LCH.
