That would something likely rather unpleasant and tough to deal with for the shareholders, but something that, good or not, comes with this territory.
Spock
For ONCE, luck came my way. I sold off about 95% of my position here yesterday after I could find absolutely no justification for the huge jump in share price.
Looks like SEC/OTC is starting their Spring cleaning early. BE ADVISED.
spock....gonna take a good look at some of the new positions I've been considering. GOOD DD with some common sense can help investors avoid these rat traps.
If you have watched the daily trades it is very clear to see this company has been trading like a big board stock for months. As long as the post-split price generally goes up, I'm good with this. If not, then not.
In the meantime there is an important issue at hand. If someone at the top actually told shareholders no RS was forthcoming this year, his or her credibility issue is an issue for both the company and for the shareholders. Lying boardmembers can rapidly erode share value. They need to change, stop or leave.
I'm buying a bunch more at opening bell.
Spock....who begins each day with....well...it's not terribly important or interesting.
I've been adding shares of this for sometime now. The more time I spend in the otc the better my intuition becomes. Good intuition and good DD makes a tough strategy to beat. Not impossible, but very hard. Fate can still be random and counter-intuitive.
Seeing how the company is putting itself together is very telling in my book.
Let us support one another both in and out of the market. The truth is that we need each other and we need to grow up in a couple of ways but that's another discussion.
Spock...your friend for all time.
PUGE is setting itself up to do some good things. Getting current, having very expensive audited Financials, two year's worth. These are excellent ent signs of a company making sure they are firing on all cylinders.
Spock...keep adding. The next catalyst sends this into a strong upward path.
Spock.... it's already showed some of its muscle.
If there is no news coming like within 30 minutes, I would say that this price jump IS in response to some significant change coming that we will likely learn of officially within 48 hours. IMO/
Spock........ I love where this is going and how its getting there.
I'll say this: this company has bent over backwards in my view to keep shareholders apprised. Information IS gold. This open transparency tells me important things about the integrity of couv.
I am definitely Not selling once they return to active trading . To be honest, the very fact they were suspended at all is quite unclear to me.
Anyway, if they just keep doing things the way they have been, this company rocks. I
Long, Grey mkt or not.
Spock...... I love transparency.
Dusty, shame I even have to, ask this in an environment where I thought that even if all of this wasn't yet resolved, at least we'd have alot more information than we do...but,is it reasonable or necessary to have so many restriction in place that just sitting down in a chair requires papal approval from the Vatican?
As an average retail buyer I still have nothing from the company or anyone else. Wjere do these restrictions come from?
That's the first thing.
Next, seems alot of big chunk buying is happening despite the looming threat of a split that makes no financial sense, yet th split seems to be part of some deal that was made in an impropritous manner.
The more I type the more questions arise, I'll stop here.
Spock....you poor earth people.
Ive had a bid of 10 shares for $10/share up for three sessions now yet regardless of whatever sale that transpires, my order is ignored.. If I am not getting outbid then why no execution? Bid $5 Ask $15
What am I missing here?
Spock
I must confess I am feeling confused. Updating your shareholders by way of a third party......do I really understand this correctly? I think it may be time for me to liquidate very soon. I am not seeing leadership here showing understanding of what is going on or how best to handle it.
WHat a shame. These are NOT the true colors I expected were flying here at all.
Spock
I feel certain we'll break into copper imminently. Whether or not this will plow through the usual Tuesday quicksand remains to be seen. It will
Get there. That much is pretty clear,. If it does back tomorrow I'm picking up some more. This is simply too good.
Spock
Tripled my position this morning. I've been waving the flag for this one since June of last year. This is a winner all day long and I am sure I will hold into 2022 at this point.
Bring your friends, we'll have a party.
Spock....
Doing the same. Now, if they can close that Dilution spigot a bit that would be helpful. O/S Up 1/2B in the past 30 days. Don't care for it.
Spock.
My broker no longer allows me to but this and I cannot buy from the company since I am not presently an accredited buyer.
Spock....what's a girl to do,?
Freefall. Text editor does that to me all the time. Thanks.
Appears we are now in freefall. Very disappointing.
I have purchased more. For the moment, I think they will correct this in favor of the cash that has supported them thus far.
With each passing day, however, I am less and less convinced, in this world of nearly instant communication with anyone in the world at any time, that all their lawyers, advisors and consultants are the ones taking this long to arrive at ANY solution.
Spinning the new page as something just wonderful just for the CLST longs, if I have the setup right, is insulting.
If they do not put a solution in place very soon. I will cash out and sit in the sidelines until the fix is in place and shown to be effective or a better play comes along.
Hmmmm.
Spock..... a sort of grumpy Spock Id say.
At this moment I'll confess a bit off uncertainty.
There has just been a sale of 1 share at 10: 24 est for $4.50. I am one of the bidsitters at $4.50 and I have not gotten that one share.
I think we'll just have to wait and see how things play out this morning. In the otc, these small sales get funky.
Spock.
You sure you're not seeing the price of the last sale from whenever it happened?
I'd love to know more about the weakening bid, myself . Personally, I have a hunch, just a hunch, this is turn into a big play.
Spock, maybe even Spocktacular.
Literally millions of homes have no power, no way to recharge phones or to run pc-s.
Spock....the whole darn ship is mostly dark. We're used to buzzing around at several warps. We're slipping sideways in sublight speed. Even the wipers are frozen on the bridges windows.
The windchill is like, 150 minus absolute zero.
My sense, not knowing any Ike history is that this may well survive this situation. I mean if the technology is real, then this could generate cash. I'm choosing to stick around and see what comes to fruition pist-suspension.
I don't have a ton tied up in it so if it bears any fruit it might be worth it anyway.
Spock.....people have made some fair points here. Very good.
This stock is making some decent gains, where is everyone?
Spock....is my scanner needing some recalibration?
I would caution anyone who wants to compare today's otc with the otc of several years ago. We presently have millions more unemployed people sitting idle at home with platforms like Robin hood. Many are looking for any way to bring in extra cash quickly.
What is the same is that the otc, more than any other factor, is driven by emotion, not even quality DD.
So, when any cheapie stock appears to be on the brink of becoming the darling of the week, emotion in the form of cash can push any stock from trips to dimes in just one day. What a windfall!!!
Now that vaccines are on the horizon, so many desperate people are waking up, feeling more positive about things, then logging in to their favorite trading platform to score huge.
It's much easier to see literally any stock explode in value for no valid reason. Screw great share structures, strong fundamentals, just find a good wave to ride.
This as never been how I roll, but I do understand the mindset of people desperate for any small pile of cash to brag about.
Spock.....Earth people are so illogical.
Oh, How many times have we seen a market respond in a negative way well ahead of actually understanding what is happening? This is been my experience several times. Of course this is going to come back and it's going to come back huge. This is why I rather wish a dedicated investor like traderbel would consider coming back , or rather, not selling off to begin with.
Of course this is coming back and it will come back in a huge way. This is an absolutely fantastic buying opportunity as has been pointed out by many here already. I have soaked up as many of these cheap shares I can with the complete confidence that I will be well rewarded for having done so.
Spock.....I am surrounded by madness, I tell you.
PoketStar...you're singing my song, brother.
I,too, possess plenty of patience . I can wait til the sun rises in the west.
Spock
Trader, I do hope you will very soon reconsider. Very best of luck to you, regardless.
Arrogance on the part of the CEO is warranted for great performance. In this case, some sincere humility is the right show, if some move has been made that demands humility. That seems likely here.
Being able to show humility shows strength by way of being able to set ego aside to demonstrate a willingness to be accountable, to be the one who holds the buck where that buck stops. That is holding authority in the most meaningful way. Very impressive.
Let us see what happens next. I remain very confident.
Spock
Been awhile since I was able to buy @$0.50/share. Hope its never this cheap again.
Spock....even with TV Green stamps.
If youve already made a hefty profit, don't think about all the water still running in the stream. Take your bucket, smile warmly at it and congratulate yourself for properly exploiting a true P&D. Don't be a bucket holder.
SPock
It seems to me that whatever the strategy is, this move -as well as the effect its having on share value- is somehow part of a plan.
Does anyone recall being frustrated with how much time things seemed to be taking, how very careful they have been with making sure they are in full compliance with everything, before even blinking?
Combine this with a Crack legal team threading everything so carefully ahead of daring to make anything public. Boy, I sure do. This must all be part of a strategy to which we are not yet privy. I can only imagine some very heated discussions where doing something like this would have negative repercussions and unforeseeable outcomes.
And,again, there's that one special Preferred share owned by Stephenson he can convert into 250M shares of common and he has 60% of all the voting power.. yup, I think there is a very big plan in the works and we don't know the details, but for damned sure what happened today was certainly no surprise to tds.
It was a calculated move and we will have to wait to learn more. I'm not thrilled about today, but this is the way I am seeing this right now. I am willing to unlearn and to rethink as info comes to light. My opinion may change.
Spock....looking for a beer.
If all this turns out to be nothing more than a last ditch tree shake, I say it worked pretty well for the treeshaker and it may explain the very ambiguous language regarding the RS in the annual report.
I can find no mention of the RS in the other sneaky places companies try to tuck it away to avoid detection, but which satisfy the 'Public notification" required by law.
So, who is responsible for creating value for we shareholders?
Anyway, as things stand at this moment I do not have enough information to make an informed decision . I stay long. Thankfully, and almost beyond belief , several of my other holdings are doing extremely well today..
Spock.....in my mind, doing a split on a float this small makes mo sense whatsoever and I have never seen anything quite like it before. Especially when it is appreciating the way it has been.
Never thought I would be able to buy at these prices ever again. Just topped off my position by way of fear. Hate to say it but, when people sell before knowing the true lay of the land, it creates buying opportunities. Wow.
Spock....wearing hat of capt. Obvious.
Exactly right, snelly. S
I am a true long here. I am not seeing a,reason to sell.
S
5schips, I totally get and fully appreciate your point. I ,too, have been dipped in acid with reverse splits, especially when I first started trading and did not have a very good understanding of why such an evil thing was permitted.
S.
One of the things rolling around in my head is the single solitary share of Special Preferred Series 2020 stock issued to Mr. STEPHENSON worth 250 M shares of common. And why 15:1 ratio for a seemingly unneeded rev split?
Could Mr. S. UNILATERALLY decide to cancel all current shares of common say for purposes of consummating an agreement , then convert his 1 special share creating 250M new shares of common, then executing a 15:1 Rev split that would bring us back to where we are right now in terms of pps along with a small bonus of value on each share of about 10%?
See what happens when Vulcans drink decaf? Everything goes crazy.
Well, 5schps, here's the thing. First, as far as CLHS is concerned, that's a pretty big IF to even start with.
2nd Any seasoned investor knows not every RS is bad. It depends entirely on the motivation and purpose of the split. Personally, I have been involved in two Rev splits that were smart and beneficial to the company and, therefore, its shareholders. As mentioned, the way it is mentioned at all in the annual report here is ambiguous at best and will obviously get proper clarification as to whatever it may have referred to.
3rd. Why would a company with 24M outstanding shares need a reverse split at all? That would raise the price per share beyond the purses of many investors. And it seems there has been keen interest in this company for some time. The price per share will fall within the listing requirements of several exchanges soon enough with no need for a split.
I'm choosing to stay the course. This usually works out well for me.
Spock....Vulcan hate freak outs.
Just keep in mind this company has lovingly served up 3 Reverse Splits to its scareholders in only 5 years. Two of them were only 3 months apart.
Can you make a buck here? Sure you can. Just watch the henhouse really closely.
This could've become a good company, but it needs new grey matter at the top.
Spock
Lucid, cciv & cstc.....watching all this closely.
This dip is a very good sign? Why, you ask?
When a company is receiving the kind of attention this company is , the smart market makers Take a good look at their inventories of this stock. They assess their need. Do they have enough on hand to meet the demand the anticipate.
If they feel that their inventories are a little light then they usually do what you see here. They dropped the price by 10 or 15% thereby triggering many stop loss orders Which down allows the market makers To purchase large quantities of the stock at lower prices.
In the next few sessions these very same shares will appear for sale At prices higher than what your seeing right now. This way they make money. So my advice, buy on this dip, by big. This is about to run.
Spock....
Hey, komm7. I agree with your assessment of retail sentiment. And even if it should evolve slowly, this is a buy and add for me. I grabbed a 1/4 M this morning an may do the same again after lunch or before next opening bell. It's already made a hefty return for me. For you, too, I hope.
Hey, what part of GDR YOU IN? What township, may I ask?
Spock..I recently did an intense mindmeld with a Tribble and emerged with a full beard. Strange.
