Thank you, whoever you are, for allowing me to buy a ton of shares at only 2 cents!
I spoke with Barry Clare on Wednesday using the old phone number and it was answered by someone working on the installation of a new computer system in Terminal 4. They said that they were very busy and Barry was now at the other building where much work has already been completed to support the present and future staff. He transfered me to Barry who was as gracious as ever and confirmed that the FAA was dragging their feet and that he was hoping for some good news soon. He also said that money is coming in constantly and they have no trouble financing this already long wait for certification. He also mentioned that the airplane is costing them nothing in Mi. while bringing it to JFK would be very expensive. I also mentioned that the 'lieutenant' had gotten Senator Chuck Schumer to send a letter to the FAA to encourage them to move on Baltia's certification process. He said letters like this from investors to political representatives has more weight than a similar letter from the company. We should all give a very special 'Thank You' to the 'lieutenant' for his initiative and perserverence. I am planning a trip to visit the company headquarters very soon as Barry suggested. I'm confident that we are soon going to witness the completion of a major milestone very soon. I also want to thank those of little faith who are making it easy for the rest of us to increase our share holdings at very low stock pricess.
Is anone out there tonight?
For every seller there must be a buyer! We will soon see who profits the most.
Patience is a vertue. Your friend isn't selling the stock, he's givig it away. I will be thrilled to pick up some more at .03. Wow, what a deal! Imagine the profit when some good news breaks. I've been buying up stock in 10,000 share blocks at .032 - .034 for a few months and feel those are bargin basement prices. Working my way towards a goal of 300,000 -500,000 shares so that I'll be sitting pretty on the big day but will only sell a portion after the price stabilizes to get my initial investment cash back and then let the rest ride and grow with the company. it's too bad others have so little faith.
Regardless of my price target (.173) I am looking forward to seeing your shares available to me at .02.------------Still waiting.
no inside information just common business sense. If they only had $38,000 at the end of the last quarter and they have to pay rent and salaries they must have run out of all their cash by now. In the real world new investors that see Baltia's potential arrive regularly, bringing their cash with them. Like every company Baltia's cash flow is a constant and they will only run out of money when real investors no longer see the bright future of Baltia Airlines. When you're ready to sell there are plenty of keen buyers, like me, prepared to buy at this rediculously low price. I have been loading up at these prices in preparation for potential serious growth but if you can't afford to lose, don't take any risks. (you can make a safe .75 percent in savings accounts).
(unless there are ulterior motives at play)
I think you hit the nail on the head with that statement!
Is a fact that as of today the company has only $38,000 to continue operations? That's hardly enough money to pay the rent at Kennedy for 2 months never mind incurring the rest of the cost of getting operational. If you can provide evidence that Baltia, at this time, has only $38,000 left to get airborne we should all bail out now! I think that the figure you're stating was the amount on hand on the day of the last filing and things change every day in this business. If that's all the money they had 3 months ago and no more has come in they should be broke today. Since there are many serious investors on this board with a lot at stake all statements of this nature should be backed up with rock-solid facts, unless you have a good reason to try and discredit this company and all of us investors. My guess is that you're just on this board for fun and haven't got a nickle invested in Baltia stock.
Wow! It seems that as investors we have developed into two separate fractions. On one side there are those of us, like myself, who believe that we are on the threshhold of becoming part of a new company about to make history as a brand new airline with a great business plan. On the other side there are those that may or may not be investors that are set out to discredit those that are working diligently to make our dream a reality. If those people that are not happy with the leadership or the business plan of Baltia would just put all their stock on the market at the same time so that the stock price would take a significant drop it would give people like me that believe in the company a great opportunity to load up at a once in a lifetime cheap price.-------------I'll be waiting.
I too have been buying 10,000 share blocks on a regular basis for the last several months at these bargin prices. We will soon be reaping the benefits.
Since you feel the stock price is eventually going to reach .015 would you consider selling all your shares for .02?
If your 'facts' are factual what part does Igor presently play in Baltia's leadership role? Is it true that Baltia has a mere $38,000 to continue running the company? That seems hardly enough to cover the rent at JFK never mind those that get a salary or buy fuel when they start their training and proving flights. I thought that they had lenders in the wings if they needed more financing. I would sure like to know how you managed to get these 'facts'.
I would be ready to jump in much deeper at these prices if Baltia would make any kind of a statement, good or not so good. The quietness is beginning to turn me away from this investment and I've been one of their most loyal supporters over the last four years. I will attempt to make contact with them for the third time in less than two weeks and report back later today.
Some shares sold at .0301 this morning. Someone is dumping----stupid, desparate for cash, fearful or tired of the long wait. I certainly hope we get some good news soon to bring the share price back to a level where most of us got in at 3 or 4 years ago (5-7 cents).
It sounds to me that you might be the guy that the Baltia team needs to complete their manuals so the FAA can finally approve them. It's great to have someone as knowlegeable as you about the FAA certification process on board. Now we can soon be on our way to becoming a real airline and start being concerned about the cost of fuel.
I truly agree that we are in good hands. Although I don't have the long-term friendship with these gentlemen that you do I spoke with them a number of times and truly felt their sincerity for making this company culminate into a successful operting airline. I stated that several times in the few posts that I've made over the last several months. If I didn't think that were true I wouldn't be continuously adding to my collection of Baltia stock whenever I have a little cash. Buying at these prices is like being offered a gift. I also understand why some on this board seem to be getting frustrated as time passes but good things are worth waiting for.
Its because we are inticipating that things are beginning to culminate with a forthcoming grand announcement. Follow this board closely and you will understand why. Most of us own substaintial quantities that, when the stock takes off, can change our financial positions in a very positive way. After many years of hard work the company finally owns an aircraft that is itching to take on passengers when we get the much-anticipated green light from the FAA.
I might be wrong but I thought the parking fee at JFK was $2000 a day, not $200 a day. Could someone verify what the actual parking cost is at JFK?
I'm glad to see that the mood is begining to show more enthusiasm for the coming of the First Passenger Flight.
Our patience will soon be rewarded!
Happy President's Day Everyone
I know how important it is for FAA approval of the manuals but it seems that's all that is being talked about lately. It would be refreshing to hear discussions about our first passenger flight to St. Petersburg which should take place in the near future. The manuals will be signed off soon and on we go to the next step in the process of becoming a recognized airline. I firmly believe that our pot of gold is just around the corner. It would be good to hear more from those that realize that the Baltia management team is working hard for a succesful launch of this airline. They have the most to gain!
As I said in my previous posts, the Baltia executive team will get rich when Baltia becomes a full-fledged airline. If it doesn't happen then he waisted 23 years of his life on this project along with the rest of the team.
These people have the most to lose or gain.
Your logic continues to make very good sense. Baltia management is just as anxious to get to the next step as we are. There is no question that we are at the threshold to completing this complex and tedious process. Many on board are just fearful that something might go wrong but every problem is fixable and this Baltia team is not about to let their dream go out the window.
Thanks for sharing this intersting article with us. Sounds like the Baltia business plan.
I well remember when flying was glamorous. Men would always wear suites and women wore their finest dresses. Today everyone wears shorts, flip flops, sneakers and geans. Baltia might bring class back to the flying experience.
If the aircraft sits out there more than one year from its last inspection it will then require another annual inspection. The annual is not as difficult as a major inspection that requires much of the airplane to be dismantled for closer inspecton and material testing. I understand that a major must have been done in order to get the aircraft back in flight status after being retired.
From my experience if minor changes to the manuals are required the re-checking process only requires review of the changed sections and requires very little time. I have seen military and FAA documents approved in hours after modifications were submitted. For more complex or multiple changes review can be completed in less than a week as only those sections need to be reviewed. I would guess that Baltia has been working closely with the FAA and its manuals were at least presented very close to a perfect document. These people at Baltia are working very hard in their quest to become very wealthy when our bird finally makes its first commercial flight to Russia.
Your military service and experience related to the aircraft industry draws my highest respect. I also was exposed to the aircraft industry as a design and flight test engineer at Grumman Aerospace for 35 years. Helping to certify and gain acceptance by the military and the FAA was always a long tedious process and involved tons of paperwork. When it comes to the government or commercial customer wanting every specification to be met there are no short cuts. The final product must not be compromised. The one time I saw an f-14 (A/C #2) go out the door in a rush to make a scheduled flight date it wound up burning in the woods 2 miles short of the runway.
I hope that you continue to critique baseless comments that you see in the future. The board needs knowledgeable experienced investors like you to help keep the sanity during our waiting period.
I'm glad that at least some of us are still upbeat on Baltia. Great progress has been made in recent months. For the first time ever we have a real airplane ready to start passenger service soon after we are given the GO by the FAA. That is a giant step for the company. When I first got on board all Baltia had was a dream and the stock price hit 16 cents. Imagine what will happen when you see a newly painted 747 with the Baltia name & logo at Kennedy Airport in a press release?
I wish more of the people at this site could see through their anxiety and review the tremendous progress the company has made over the last two years. Yes, I am very encouraged by our present position in the process and I'm quite confident Baltia is soon about to spread it's wings and fly. You are also right about our concern should be Baltia's ability to make a decent profit when entering this market at a time when many established airlines are struggling. I'm glad that you, 'THE LIEUTENANT', is so vocal on this board because you always base your 'opinions' on facts, logic and company history.
Once again I thought I would jump in with my 2 cents (or is it 3.7 cents?). I've been buying in since September 2007 for prices ranging from as high as 16 cents and as low as 3 cents with my average at 6 1/2 cents for about 1/4 million shares. I don't understand why our stock price is as low as it is, less than 4 cents, when after such a long time we actually have a flyable aircraft and are on the threshold of becoming a real airline. I know that we are all unhappy that it hasn't happened yet but I am confident that the Balta team is doing all they can to complete the process. After all, they have more to gain than all of us put together with their millions upon millions of shares they have earned in lew of a salary. I have a gut feeling that exciting news is very close at hand but will not be available until all is confirmed. Try not to be too negative while waiting because general negativity without confirmed facts tends to scare the weak hearted into dumping their stock which will act like an avalanch taking others along with them. Whenever I see that process starting it encourages me to dip a little deeper.
Sorry about that because I know that many of you do a great job. I was just trying to let those who work so hard in presenting good information on this forum know that they are appreciated. I also noted that I spelled 'authorization' wrong and no one mentioned it. Thanks again to everyone that contributes both positive and negative factual information. I don't often stick my nose in to this board but I am a daily reader.
Your thoughts and words are very wise and reflect those of someone who has thoroughly followed this company over a long period of time. I certainly agree with you regarding the care that the FAA must take in providing orthorization for a new airline to begin operations. I have been patiently holding a significant position of Baltia for several years and have been purchasing more almost on a weekly basis in anticipation of final FAA approval in the very near future. With so many of Baltia's officials working only for stock I'm sure that they are going to do whatever is possible to bring their dream to a succesful completion. Keep up the good work in providing everyone with meaningful thoughts. I sure am glad that you did not stick with your threat of dropping out as a contributor on this board.
I get a very strong sense of high anxiety amongst our membership. I'm sure this is all brought about by our waiting for some exciting news releases from Baltia. As a long time investor and follower of this company I have come to know that their management team is just as anxious as we are but are waiting to give out meaningful and accurate information when it becomes available. As I said before, I have spent my entire working life dealing with government aviation agencies, both civil and military, and understand that they concentrate on accuracy and safety far more than a time line schedule.
Why don't we stop striking out at each other and extend our hand in friendship to members on both the positive and negative sides of the issue. Those on the negative side are probably reaching out for information that will give them a better night's sleep. I doubt that they are trying to be the type of bashers that are found on Yahoo and Raging Bull boards. Personally I think that most of those bashers are trying to drive down the stock price so they can get in at lower prices, otherwise why bother?
My crystal ball is presently out of order but my best guess is that Baltia will be selling tickets before the birds come back North.
Be patient---------our time is near.
You don't hear from me much but I read the board several times each day. I find it refreshing that everyone on this board seems intelligent and respectful.
I also noticed that most people's spirits have been beaten down a bit lately so I thought a few words from this really old man might be helpful. I have been involved in aviation since I was three years old in 1942 by sticking two clothes pins together to create an imaginary airplane. While still in high school I soloed an Aeronca 7AC at my local airport. I went on to study aircraft design and mechanical engineering and worked for a major aircraft company for 35 years before retiring. I've worked closely with both military and FAA personal in our flight test department where we had to prove that we met every criteria before the customer accepted our airplanes, and that was never an easy task. Both the military customers and the FAA want to be sure that we produced a product that met every detail of their expectations. For that reason they never rushed in their certification process. I think that we are holding the self-created timeline too close to our vest.
The team at Baltia really seems to know what they are doing and will get us in the air soon enough so that we will all finally be well rewarded. Have patience and you will soon see the rooster. fly.
The Lieutenant is always thinking ahead of all the rest. I agree that many shareholders will hold out for a lower tax rate as well as for price growth and available shares might be very limited when the good news breaks out. I also think that many people are still holding their restricted shares and still need to get them into a tradable account.
We have some real smart people on this board as shown by their comments and the fact they have bought Baltia stock.-----By the way, its time for me to buy some more!
I'm guessing at 21 cents a day after some good news.
The great people on this informative board seldom see me post anything but I want to wish everyone a very happy and safe holiday season and an extremely prosperous New Year. I firmly beleive that the management at Baltia are about to make our dreams come true.
Well Said and very good logic applied. These guys have been around a long time and are right at the front door to becoming a real airline, no matter how small at the start. I've sunk a large portion of my investment capital into Baltia because I feel that they truly have the perseverence to succeed. Investing in a high risk but well managed company like this is the only way to make real money in today's stock market. Those who stay on board and not be fooled by playes that may be munipulating the stock price may be duly rewarded, big time, very soon. Why worry about a few months when most of us have been on board a few years? Working with the government is a very difficult and unpredictable task but I feel that success is just around the corner.
The Lieutenant seem to be a very bright and knowledgeable person.
Great deal! I just put in an order for some more but I don't think I'll get it at .03.
Anyone have any idea why the stock dropped 25% to .030 with high volume (382,431 shares) this morning when I checked at 10:20 AM? Looks like someone just decided to sell. Just checked again at 10:30 AM and stocked jumped to .035 with a volume of 412,431 (+ 30,000 shares). I guess buyer jumped in.
Only the foolish will be selling just before something very positive seems to be about to happen.
Thanks for helping to financially support Baltia on it's way to a successful first flight. Your loyalty wil surely increase your wealth sugnificantly and add a few dollars to my investment account. I only wish that I also had the ability make a substantial financial investment with this company. Compared to many I'm small potatoes but like you, I have faith in Baltia's management team and am confident they will succeed very soon.
Thanks again and I enjoy reading your post because they are interesting, intelligent and well thought out.
I've heard that Baltia is trying to raise some more cash to help pay operating expenses and salaries to the office help not being paid with stock. The officers have been accepting stock for services rendered and therefore have the greatest interest in seeing this company fly. From what I hear everything is moving forward but dealing with government entities is sometimes a slow process and bills have to be paid so in the meantime they need cash to cover their expenses. The best way investors that are looking to buy more stock can help is to buy their stock directly from the company and informing others of the opportunities that stock ownership in Baltia may someday offer. By buying direct you get a lower share price and I understand that you may also be offered great options for future stock buys. Buying through the open market doesn't get the cash where it is needed most, in the hands of the company. Those interested should contact the Baltia office.
Good luck to Baltia and all of it's investors.
