If anyone from the board is going to be there, can you try and write up a report about observations. Would also be nice to ask the questions we have discussed on this board and try and get some answers to report back here. Anyone attending from here?
Sircooper, I agree with you and I am holding long and strong...however I think people do not value the company or (PPS) very high right now because of little knowledge of "documented" sales/orders/contracts and profit. Not to say that there isn't other orders pending or contracts that have been signed. I guess there are just a lot of unknowns still to many people.
In your post, are you hinting to anything?...I know in one of your previous posts (I believe it got deleted) you mentioned about some upcoming business relationship you were in with them??? I could be mistaken and may be someone else I am thinking of.
Thanks triple...looks like I am going to chart school!
Very interesting triple crown...I appreciate you taking the time to explain this. Please keep up the good work. Do you have any long term predictions yet?...also if you can point me in the right direction, where does a guy like me with moderate investing experience start? Any good books you recommend? I'm always up for a challenge and learning new things.
Triple crown...you stated "imagine getting into an elevator with foreign speaking people and not having a clue of what they said."
...to be honest, that is how I feel after reading your post. Can you possibly explain all this mumbo jumbo in layman's terms?
WOW...The last time we had a million share day was back when the stock was going up. Now it appears to be in reverse and everyone is dumping their now unrestricted shares. Do those long time holders know more than us? or are they just complete morons?...I guess Rock's theory was a little off and more people are able to cash in at a faster rate then we thought. Hope it doesn't bottom out at 30 cents again.
Looks like more unrestricted shares being dumped again...wonder what the the bottom will be this time???...just when things looked like they were improving. Still long and have faith...
Is this article/order possibly talking about Bourque's Vests/armor?...just a hunch. Thoughts please.

Rockford SWAT Team Getting New Armor
Rockford alderman approve the purchase of new vests for the city's SWAT team.
Posted: 8:31 PM Feb 21, 2012
ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Rockford's SWAT team is getting some new start-of-the-art duds.
At Monday’s city council meeting, alderman approved the purchase of new vests for the SWAT team. The 28 vests will cost $45,000. Having the latest technology for the team means they'll be better prepared to handle intense scenarios, like hostage situations and tactical entries.
“Every year its incumbent upon our commanders, our commanding officers to review and inventory their equipment and to keep current with what's available and what's out there,” says Deputy Chief Michael Booker. “Anything that we can do to keep our officers safe as they conduct their missions and go about doing a dangerous job, we want to provide that gear and equipment for them."
The new vests should be delivered by this summer.
I like what I'm hearing atl...can't wait to see the finished product. Seems like everything is coming together at Bourque. Ready for the site to launch and orders to be announced and anything else the company might have in the works. Keep up the good work.
Atl...with all this talk about the website, I have been looking at many other armor sites. A few things I saw and liked and you may consider adding if you haven't already would include a question and answer section or FAQ for potential customers to look at. I also liked on armor express's site they give the proper steps and links to follow for government assistance/funding when purchaseing nij cert body armor. Just a couple ideas. Their website is very informative and layed out nicely for the user.
woah woah woah...wait a second. Who confirmed that Kryron was being tested by MIT? I don't think we can confirm this yet until we have some type of proof. Maybe it will be mentioned on the Discovery Channel special.
Thanks for the reply Pacco and I appreciate that we can have a civil debate. As I said, I am not 100% pro Bourque and I like to hear the good and bad. Just so you know up front...I am not trying to belittle your comments. Reading over your post, I will try and comment and answer what you have wrote back.
I agree that Bourque's current website is "poor" and needs improvement...but as we all know this is being worked on by ATL who has the expertise and experience in designing professional websites and will most likely list their products and specs that everyone wants to know about. I checked out Armor Express's Website and agree that it is very professional and gives the user a lot more information then Bourque's currently (remember Bourque is still a startup company). I am also assuming that the new website will offer a phone number (that was one of ATL's biggest concerns) and sales information...but one must remember that they need to be operational and the kinks worked out before they get bombarded with calls like KZ mentioned.
Once again as mentioned before, just because they are both rated at a level III does not mean that it is equivalent. I did a search on the Aries series and did not find any demo videos on their plates. If they had a plate that stopped that many rounds and had the same stopping power, I sure it would be plastered all over the internet and they would be marketing everywhere....but I have yet to see that.
Moving on...I agree that Armor Express's triple curve plate is probably more comfortable to wear compared to the flat "fat boy" plate. Once again, they are still developing new products and maybe introduce a curved plate down the line...we will have to wait and see.
I do not believe weight is a game breaker. Bourque's armor is approx. 3.8lbs heavier...and as far as I know, still out performs any other armor I know of as yet. Just so you know, I am a law enforcement officer and do wear this type of gear. Most of the time, you are only wearing the vests for a short period of time, therefore a little extra weight with the superior protection of ricochet, shatter and spall...I would choose the Bourque plate over any other at the moment.
I cannot answer this question for the Military, because I know those guys wear their vests for much longer time periods and 3-4 lbs of extra weight added to their already extremely heavy vests might not fly. However, talking to friends who have been in the military they have told me that many of the guys take the plates out at certain times and place them back in the vest while in combat zones. IMO I personally would suck it up and choose to wear the few extra pounds if it was a life or death matter.
Cost - Many in Law Enforcement know that saying "you pay for what you get."...when buying LEO gear to include (guns, scopes, body armor, duty gear, etc)...I always do a bunch of research and never go cheap. I wear the duty gear everyday and know the beatings that it takes. I'd rather have a product that lasts a long time and is reliable on a daily basis than jeopardize my life. To answer your question, I have heard that Bourque's "fat boy" plate is around $800, with a possible LEO/Government discount of around 15%. With any new product and technology, the price usually comes down over time.
Availability - Not sure what it is at this time for "fat boy" plate, however I ordered one of the level II trauma plates and they over nited it to me. I currently wear it on active duty. The level II retails for $180.00. If you look at the Glocktalk Review and the Guns and Ammo demo video you will see the results.
Lastly, I agree with you that there are many many many questions that need answering and hopefully they will come with time.
If the company succeeds, I will be looking forward to that Keg of beer you will bring and one of Max's cigars.
Thanks for the update Pigs. I am not a chart reader and have no experience...any updates or information based on your expertise would be greatly welcomed on this board. Thanks again for the heads up.
Pacco posted:
"I have posted about one competitor
in an earlier post.
When trying to sell a product it would be very foolish to ignore other products that can do the same job and maybe do it better. To discount other competition would be foolish. You can be sure that prospective buyers will make the comparison before making a large purchase especially when human life is at stake.
Just because I am more pragmatic you have no cause to belittle my comments. You seem to like those who are 100% positive but you pick on those who have a more broad outlook. This board should be about reality and information, good OR bad."
....Pacco I browsed all 109 of your previous posts and found these two in reference to competition (if I overlooked one of your posts that provides specific information to a competitor, please refresh my memory and provide a post #). Below are the two posts...my questions and comments to you sir are in RED.
I know that KZ doesn't like us to mention the competition but there is a body armor plate for sale off the shelf that has been NIJ certified at level III stand alone and is presently under contract with the US marines.
...1) what body armor might this be Pacco??? Please provide a specific company name so I can verify on NIJ List. This is like me saying the Navy Seals wear a level IV nano tech ceramic vest...no sources and nothing listed.
Type certification- NIJ level III stand alone.
Weight- 3.2 lbs (that's 60% lighter than Bourque)
Configuration- triple curved for comfort and reduction in back face force compared to the Bourque flat plate.
Material- polyethylene, not fragile as is ceramic and capable of multiple hits.
Cost- approximately 1/2 the price of a Bourque "fat boy".
Bourque's NIJ certification at level III is really a moot point.
2) Does this 3.2 lb polyethylene plate have the same stopping power as Bourque's fat boy plate? Did it stop all 6 shots during NIJ Cert?
("In NIJ testing at Oregon Ballistic Laboratories in October of last year, Bourque's Level III stand-alone Kryron Terminator Armor System demonstrated its industry-leading multi-impact capabilities by defeating all six 7.62x51 FMJ NATO rounds within the standard 44mm back face deformation standards. Bourque reached this performance milestone on all of its Level III body armor panels tested.")
3) Does this competition plate you speak of have the same explosive protection as Bourque's armor?
....Then you state the following in this post
Post 7997
Well Sir I disagree with you. Most, if not all non ceramic armor will do the same and they are certified to stop AP also.
4) Most ceramic armor will do the same as Bourque's multi impact armor? Really...??? And certified to stop AP also? I have seen plenty of ceramic plates shot (one specific level III plate made by Point Blank Body Armor) get shot by a regular .223 round and it cracked after 2 strikes and that was certified to a level IV.
Multiple hits? Not likely. 60? Not going to happen in the real world. You are being blinded by the "snow".
5) Multiple hits very likely. A shooter could easily get off 6-7 shots from a semi auto rifle in a matter of a second. If each of these shots was center mass...then bourque's armor would defeat the rounds. A ceramic plate would most likely crack...unless this competitor plate you speak of does the same. I agree that 60 hits is not likely...but I would rather have armor that takes 60 hits compared to one that takes a few.
Be aware that Back face defamation is not the same as Back face force. I would direct you to the first video on the Bourque web site (awful presentation) where you see the clay behind the Bourque plate flying out upon impact from the bullet. That represents broken ribs, blunt force trauma to internal organs, stomach contents and almost certain death.
6) ....in one of your other posts you state that the Marines or Army is looking for armor that is certified at level IV. Can you provide source for that where I can verify? Doesn't that statement contradict your previous statement of "there is a body armor plate for sale off the shelf that has been NIJ certified at level III stand alone and is presently under contract with the US marines." If Bourque's armor is a level III and the Marines are currently using this competition plate that is Level III, then why wouldn't they be interested in Bourque's Armor?
...I agree with you that it is foolish to ignore other products that can do the same job or better, but as of yet, I have no specific information/videos/NIJ certified products that have the same protection levels as Kryron to include; ballistic and explosive protection and eliminates ricochet, shatter and spall.
Someone please prove me wrong so I can continue my research and look into other products that that may outperform Kryron. I am not all about 100% positive posts as you claim sir... and like a balance. Again, if I overlooked one of your previous posts with specific information...I apologize and you can call me out on it. Please provide me a post number so I can refresh my memory and I can research and verify the information. Thank You.
Also stated in the Dugway video (I believe)...it was mentioned that the other ceramic armor was compared to drywall in comparison to Bourque's Armor. I am sure the military knows about other companies producing different types of armor and probably gets 100's if not thousands of requests to demo their armor to the high brass. I don't think Bourque would have been asked back multiple times to perform numerous demos if the government was not interested. That would just be a waste of people's time and money.
I agree Sircooper. Pacco if there are other prducts out there that are rated higher and perform as well or better than Kryron...please post your demo videos or sources. As we all know, just because something is rated at one level does not mean it cannot out perform a higher level. We recently just saw the news story out of Phoenix where the officer's level IIIA Kevlar vest did not even stop a 40 caliber bullet...and that was NIJ certified.
As of now, I know of no other product that has the capabilties of Kryron.
in reference "However as has been posted some time ago, I am not 100% sure where BORK is regarding their capability to answer a rush of calls, requests at this time, primarily due to the fact that they are likely quite busy 'reading up' for the Discovery Canada TV shoot.. "
...KZ I agree with you, however this is the time to start signing orders and producing product.
According to JB "“The timing of the certification is perfect, as we are now bringing online our new large-scale manufacturing processes to be able to meet the demand for our newly-certified Level III armor systems.”
With all the hard work over the last year traveling across the country and other countries to put on expensive demos and included countless man hours...I do not think this is the time to delay anything.
I hope they can multi task and get orders signed and get prepared for Discovery. This may be the time to hire some qualified people to get things rolling.
Thanks PW...don't remember seeing that on the board.
Great posts all...let's get the word spread. There are so many people that are unaware of this company and it is going to take a lot of hard work. I put a request into popular scicence magazine...thought it would make a good article.
On a side note, pwron....is there any update you can share about the p&w meeting that was suppose to take place? Anything new?
I agree John...love the gripshot video too. Very clear and explains what is going on. These guys know their stuff!!
Another good video (Range officer actually explains what is going on)...posted by same user on Youtube.
I know this is probably off topic so pull post if you want...but thought it would go with the demo video I posted.
Article is about the Guns and Ammo Garage in Vegas...With the types of weapons these guys deal with, I think they know what they are talking about when they recommend Bourque's Product.
http://www.travelweekly.com/North-America-Travel/Indoor-gun-range-seeks-to-attract-visitors,-locals-alike/
Don't know if you guys have seen this video yet, but I discovered it on Youtube today. It was a demo/video taken from the Guns and Ammo range Garage in Las Vegas. Video was posted recently.
"First, 24 shots of .223 into Bourque Industries' Level III in-conjunction plate at 12 feet with no penetration.
And then a whole lot of pistol fire, including two rounds of .44 Magnum, into Boruque's BRAND NEW 12 oz. Ultralight. Again, no penetration, no ricochet, and no spall."
Thank you for your service Bama...with the increase in violence and officer shootings/stabbings lately I would think this letter would draw the Police Chief's attention in Mobile after the incident that took place on February 3rd.
For those unaware...link provided.

Thanks again!
Just read this article again and thought this part was interesting:
Article: http://www.policeone.com/police-products/body-armor/articles/3772320-Your-next-body-armor-might-be-made-of-Kryron/
"If Kryron passes the NIJ tests, BAE Systems might change their tune, or another manufacturer could buy or license the technology. If not, it will be difficult at best for Borque to succeed, even with a superior product. It’s difficult and expensive to bring new tech to the law enforcement marketplace, no matter how good your wares might be. I, for one, wish him the best of luck."
With the certification in hand...hoping BAE Systems changes their tune.
Did anyone else notice on facebook where Bourque posted the "As promised, here's the news release for the NIJ certification" and the comments posted? There were 11 comments as of yesterday and now only 10 today. The very last poster stated something along the lines 'this company is a hot stock and has multiple large contractrs with big companies'.
NEWS!!
As many of you know, I attended the Naples Demo back in August and had the privilege to witness ballistic and explosive testing against Kryron. You can refer to post 4502 to read entire review of demo.
At one point at the demo, I was standing next to JB and a individual who was some type of boat builder and had a discussion with JB about armoring his boats. This is what I had wrote in the review:
"The specialized boat builder was specifically interested in bulletproof engine armor for his craft, there was quite a lot of testing at the demo related to him trying to determine which of the (4) types of Kryron plates would best work for him. Wanted 50 cal. and .308 protection for his application. He stated at one point that his boats kept getting shot up by 50 cal. He was impressed, and JB indicated he was working with him in Florida to develop the correct plating. JB had a couple different “custom” thickness plates that they tested for the boat builder. Towards the end of the demo, JB and the boat builder agreed to meet up before JB departed his business trip to look and inspect his boat."
I do remember that the boat builder was especially interested in the material, but required that the product be certified before any contract or negotiations could be made. He mentioned that he built the boats and retrofitted them with the armor and sold to government agencies, but I never had the opportunity to find out exactly who he was or who he worked for. The last thing I remembered was he mentioned that some of the boats being used were in Mexico.
I started to put things together with everything going on in Mexico, but I also obtained some info from a source that this deal may be coming together soon (can't give you any exact date).
With the NIJ Cert in place now and the mention of a new facility/production location in Mexico I am thinking this is a possibility. As we all know, good armor is extremely important these days...especially in Mexico with all of the drug cartels. The boat builder never specifically said who was shooting the boats he made/sold, but I can only speculate based on past articles I have read that the Cartels are a major problem.
Here are a few sources/articles that have been reviewed and discussed on this board.

Thanks for the great update sag. Are you putting on the demos? Hope with nij in place, these departments show some serious interest. Do u know how much the level 3 plates cost? I ordered a level 2 plate and received it quickly and wear it on duty now. Please post any links with news coverage as they come available. Thanks again
3HolePunch...how about you stop being one of those "first time posters" that asks all the same questions over and over again without doing any of your own DD. Mikeg is just trying to help out and point you to the right direction for some useful information.
If you read some of the posts, you would know that they had issues with their website hosting company and a new professional website is in development (as I write this) by one of the Assist Mod's company (ATL).
The NIJ has been ongoing sometime and we are all in the same boat. Instead of having everyone answer all of your questions...that the members on this board do not know)if you have a mouth and a phone, why don't you call bourque yourself and find out an update for all of us. (520) 624-5248.
Welcome to the board also buddy!!!!
Has anyone heard back from any of the politicians that were sent emails or letters in reference to NIJ? We are now into February with still no NIJ cert and no status updates. Anyone have any update or what the problem could possibly be? I know others on the board have mentioned in the past that they would be concerned if NIJ cert was not granted by January and we are now well into February. What is the deal?
Interesting Article that was released today...
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/46159633/ns/us_news-security/
...would be nice for the US government to get bourque's armor to our troops overseas, but also to our local LE and politicians also as more knuckle heads like these guys appear in our own country.
Found this on FB...just in case anyone wanted his contact information or had any questions about the plasma spray, I am sure he could be emailed.

Looks to be the same guy that is posting on Facebook. He wrote a great review and took some pretty good picks. The review is similar to the one on facebook. For those that said the gunshow would not be worth it...I guess this proves you wrong because word is already spreading and he is just one that has purchased the thinline plate. Need to find out how to order one of these myself!
This now gives us some more information about pricing...thickness and protection. Just more pieces to the puzzle.
Staying positive for now and feel good things are possibly in the works.
I like your attitude and positive thinking noguts...trying to stay strong and keep my head up. Holding long and ready to see those fireworks.
To add to Lucky's Post: It is not a confirmed fact that Obama was speaking of Bourque...but it is a possibility. Would be very cool if he was. Either way, I know for a fact that Bourque's product is superior to any other product I have seen (witnessed it first hand), however we all know there are other companies that have been working on products and R&D for years. Good catch though Lucky...now we just need some news to confirm this.
Taken from Transcript of State of the Union Speech. Source below.
"Innovation also demands basic research. Today, the discoveries taking place in our federally financed labs and universities could lead to new treatments that kill cancer cells but leave healthy ones untouched, new lightweight vests for cops and soldiers that can stop any bullet.
Don't gut these investments in our budget. Don't let other countries win the race for the future. Support the same kind of research and innovation that led to the computer chip and the Internet, to new American jobs and new American industries.
And nowhere is the promise of innovation greater than in American-made energy. Over the last three years, we've opened millions of new acres for oil and gas exploration. And tonight, I'm directing my administration to open more than 75 percent of our potential offshore oil and gas resources."

Hate to say it...but this this ship is tanking faster then the titanic and this captain is going down with the ship. Still no peep from anyone in the company...even with the many FB messages desperately asking for something. And we know that is checked and read by the company.
"OH, almost forgot, Borktube user, check in with your friend and see if he is still gainfully employed at BORK. Or did they tell him to call before he came back from the holidays?????????"
From doing a little DD...I believe his friends name is Aaron Johns.
I found this post on FB from an ex employee of Bourque.
Christopher Hicks: Just wanna give some much deserved recognition to aaron johns for introducing Bourque Industries to the idea to use this technology and finding CTT for the company...way to go bud!
If I remember correctly...BTU stated that "his friend" was the one who introducted the plasma spray for Kryron.
Through friends of friends...I found out that Christopher Hicks and another individual are no longer employed by BI.
Don't know any of the reasons as to why...just heard the info.
Yep...that tends to happen with stocks 60
LOL candyman...at least I still get a laugh out of some of posts here. Extremely hard to stay positive at the currnet moment...but posts like that cheer me up a little bit.
Oregon ballistics labatory. You can find article above in ibox above
If we continue like this...no news, no orders and no website, looks like rock is going to be right again. We will soon be in 30 cent range if not lower...have been saying this for awhile now. Don.'t know what is going on, but it doesn't look good. Also, I knew of two people that worked for BI that I followed on Facebook, and they no longer work there. Does not give me a good feeling. Don't understand the website issue either. I am either that dumb or this is some type of grand plan BI has been working.
