Your a funny guy. I do agree on one point. CV bank account is very lean.
Lean? CV has burned though cash and equity plenty. Please!
Seems to me CV needs to pony some some $$ it doesn’t have. I guess it’s better to not address the reality of the issue!
Can you seriously make this statement?
Again, this is a CV board. Please speak to CV going from 8 bucks to 15 cents or does this no matter?
This is a CVSI board. Other than to take eyes off CV’s inept management, why should there be updates on CW? Rhetorical question!
GT, CV doesn’t need dilution to hurt the stock price. This will stay at 15/20 cents until mgmt shows this company more than CBD in a bottle.
What happened to the gum so highly touted here - nothing. Let’s see what they tell us going forward.
CV will NEVER surpass CW - NEVER.
I would think unclaimed funds would follow state escheat property laws. Doubtful funds will be returned to the source.
I think the bigger issue is overlooked here.
Seems CV has found itself labeled with shady behavior more than once.
Replace mgmt with a quality team and give it a little time and CV longs should quickly make some good money.
Alternatively, hope for the space to lift off and CV goes up as a result. Not a strategy!
Agree but not confident for this near term.
Logical progression for CW. Great post!
* your 100% on the catalyst…
Good post Dunbar! However, I don’t think any CBD company will post great numbers for Q4.
Your ?? on the catalyst point. What’s important now is the forward looking comments for both companies.
Read this on another board - Good stuff. Doubters will continue to doubt but a lot going at CW that definitely started prior to the CEO change and coming out now.
CW remains best in class! Cant ignore the positive realities much longer.
That’s right!
I do wish all CV longs to do well. The diehards deserve it! This is an immediate buy in if the CEO is replaced.
Just may happen! The recent move and retrace was a failed pump N dump on the basis that CBD repels Covid. Let’s get real here.
C’mon man! There is no compare regardless of the stock prices. CW is the better company!!
CV players are banking on the SCA nicotine gum. Isn’t it still like pre clinical at this point? Wherever stage, the company can’t afford it and if stock is used as currency, dilution on steroids.
Regardless, both CW and CV will see a bounce at some point just because they are so oversold.
Gladys, why bring reality into discussion?
I was looking for different outcome but CV’s latest report shows little innovation or expansion ability.
Pricing pressure is hitting CV just like other players. The cash burn will eat CV alive or at the bare minimum materially dilute shareholders.
And for those believing the merger possibility here, don’t get your hopes too high. There’s nominal enterprise value in the balance sheet or the CV name for that matter. Ahh, but there’s the bubble gum idea that’s gone nowhere thus far. This product is miles away from approval and it’s abundantly clear the CV teams lacks expertise to move this across the finish line.
You should listen better. DE clearly stated sales velocity is up but weighted by the lower priced products such as gummies. Nothing whitewashed. Her responses to CC questions are direct and on point.
I find it odd when someone hands me a hose when their house is engulfed in flames. CV is running out of money and its obvious and much dilution is coming. The lack of innovation and serious expansion plans will only grow.
Also, the convertible offering may bring CVs share count even higher when they can’t pay it back.
CWs capital structure is well intact and well positioned going into 2022.
Conference call was much more useful. CW is well positioned for growth going into 2022.
People should pay attn to what’s actually developing in the CBD space right now.
No doubt that CBD stock performance totally sucked the last two years but look at what CW is actually doing vs. it’s competitors during this time. It’s called building an business which takes a lot of investment. Serious money will be made in CW in the coming years.
You will be rewarded with patience.
Singular points of view are so blinded they will completely miss the coming CBD run.
CBD seems to be finally finding bottom. Thus, now is precisely the time to start taking a hard look at adding $$ to this sector over the next 6 months.
CW will be the clear winner!
Why respond by deflecting. Just back up CV on its OWN merits vs trying to make it look less worse than something else.
CBD et el had been torched and CV is no exception having gone absolutely nowhere either. Who do you think your fooling?
CBD showing some signs of life lately and still needs at least another qtr or two. If CV plays things right, it will have its run.
GLTA
It was at that level for a very short period of time but its irrelevant today.
Just accept the situation. The MJ and CBD sector is mired in reg flux and we’re now starting to see some light. IMO CBD will surface first and any good company with rise from these ridiculous levels.
I really don’t get how you troll CW when CV trades at 20 cents. Fact is both are caught up in the same downdraft. In my way of thinking, I would smile if CV went to $2 and all of you make good money.
You forgot the other half of the comparison. CV from 8 or 9$ to 20 cents.
Let’s keep it real! Almost everything related to MJ has been chopped up.
Not really. Review the capital structure!
Very true! I don’t think we can mention CW in the same sentence Amazon or Tesla but the point is valid nonetheless.
This is a post we can all agree with. FDA is a bought and paid for institution by big pharma. I guess one in awhile pharma needs to lose one!
Serious post. While I’m not a fan of the CVSI C suite, I do follow what’s going on from a short distance as I believe the space is near the bottom.
My question is on the Walmart stuff circulating here. Why is the market not reacting to this?
TIA
DY: I don’t recall but do you know where CVSI sources it’s raw material from?
Thanks in advance!
This will stop or at a minimum create long delays for the marginal a CBD players wanting in the CA market.
The pundits that say CW is wasting $$ on ‘this and that’ will now see why they invested the time and money in “this and that”.
Other states will follow CA. Just a matter of time. CW will be the clear winner!
Great post! We’ll see I guess…
It’s funny how people sling mud from their own pig pens.
There is no question that CW is the premier company in the space in every aspect. There is no question.
How does this compare to CV going from around 8$ to 30 cents? CBD / MJ ugly for almost every symbol AP!
Exactly! The upside to the cash burn on infrastructure, process, product and quality improvements will be very apparent when the day arrives - and it will!
Weak players will disappear in the process and there will be many.
What the naysayers fail to recognize in CW are the necessary investment made in infrastructure and branding.
Thought times today but this shall pass.
