Short term? A reverse split. Long term? Get PPS above $4.00 a share. They are already fully reporting, they just have to meet the requirements to be listed on the NYSE.

I'm right there with you! First stock I have ever purchased, and I have spent the last 9 months acclimating shares.
GO KBLB
Sounds interesting... I have no clue what that would even mean though.

Wow, I have actually heard of about 50% of those companies.
Better yet, who thinks there will be news tomorrow? Anyone else smell a distribution deal?
The silk industry alone is a $8.5 billion dollar industry. 5% penetration into that market with and additional 5% demand for the spidersilk itself is still $850 million, and easily obtainable. That is 8 times higher then our PPS today or about $1.52 a share. If they announce a commercialization deal, I think it will take 1 week to hit that price.
Here is a paper they wrote together a while back. I used to have it but can't find it now for some reason. I used it in a paper I wrote on the company back in September for school. Kind of cool that I used Kaplan in a paper and he ends of working with the same company.
http://www.sciencemag.org/content/329/5991/528.short
But if there is no news by Friday, the price will drop quickly either at the end of the day Thursday or first thing Friday IMO.
Maybe now we can email the NY Times. They may think about running the story since Kaplan is on the board now.
Wow... That was awesome.
LOL! Mojo, I like you. I didn't at first, but now I do.
"Yes you have.......some people simply can't take their blinders off."
well i did my best to help you with those blinders..oh well..
I don't know why everyone gives you such a hard time. I mean get real everyone, he does have a lot of good points, and even though they are probably wrong, there is no way to prove they are... which is basically what he is saying - there is no way to prove this is a sure thing. No one can prove Calm Seas is out of the picture, and I'm sure KBLB will maintain that line of credit until they have a steady stream of revenue. They even bash your misuse of the word "too" (LOL!). You even said that some of their speculation could be right. Maybe it is because you don't praise every PR, or maybe it is because you are a realist. I can only say that you should try cheering occasionally, you may like it.
Personally, I know in my gut this is a sure thing, and I am sure you would agree that something would have to go horribly wrong for this to fail. It just makes sense, and all of the cards are falling into place. The fact that Kaplan joined the board of advisors pretty much made this a done deal - I heard of him a couple of years ago, and this guy wouldn't sit on the Board of Advisors for a scam. Of course I know you will say there is no way to prove that. That being said, I'm glad someone is telling everyone not to counts the eggs before they hatch.
GO KBLB!!!
Power hour is looking good!
It's true. He is cited in just about every Biology book I have ever read in college.
Many firms charge extra commission for penny stocks. I use Zecco, which has no upcharge for pennys.
We shall see...
My bet is that we will finish around .19, with a high of .21
Well said.
Someone may have mentioned this, but I getting malware alerts from just visiting the ihub page because they have links to KBLB.....
I use Google Chrome :)
The website should at least allow you to leave comments
I'm in San Diego... May be interesting to see :)
I agree with everything except for when you said "he is only allowed to discuss the information that SIAL approves".
I think he can talk about the technology and how he uses it, but SIAL has to approve any official PR's put out by KBLB.
I would have to agree with you there. The 8k or 10k or whatever (All Races to me) will probably not have anything new in them.
Is there a time frame a public company has before disclosing when they sign a deal? Maybe they did it 2 weeks ago?
I still believe they will announce the CC once the financials come out - even if they have been busy fielding calls the last 2 days.
Exactly.
I'm just really surprised that the PPS is still below .15. I would think the Gen 1 worms would be worth more then the current PPS alone.
Of course! Duck Tales was one of my favorite shows as a kid. No sea monsters are getting my fortune though.
You've been an assistant for months I think. Manshoon added you a while back.
Done.
One thing I have noticed by these "pumps" is that their information is still pretty accurate when they have mentioned KBLB. Hopefully anyone who reads these and sees SIAL will dig a little deeper and realize that this is the real deal. I found KBLB on a pump email in September of last year, and have kept building on my position since then.
GO KBLB!
I know the press release KBLB put out it does say "Sigma-Aldrich Becomes Kraig Shareholder"
http://www.kraiglabs.com/Press%20Release%20Kraig%20Sigma%20Deal%204_12_2011.htm
It's right below the press release title.
I guess it really depends on what types of shares they received. Did they receive some restricted shares making him more of a partner, or did they dilute and give out regular shares. I highly doubt it was the second one, but without the financials it is impossible to speculate.
I think .11 is a good resistance point for tomorrow if we do happen to trickle down again. Then again, they could announce the conference call the same time they release their financials. That way the excitement of the conference call will overshadow the financials everyone should already know we will have. IMO of course.
GO KBLB
I believe some people are hoping to find some information on how SIAL will be compensated for providing their CompoZr Zinc Finger Nuclease (ZFN) technology to KBLB. If they accepted shares, that is good news because they see value in the company. I don't think zero funding will necessarily hurt the PPS because anyone who has done any DD should have already known that tomorrow will not show any new revenue. People aren’t investing in KBLB because of the huge revenues they believe they should be receiving; they are investing because of the high profile entities involved, the potential of this technology, and the proven scientific methods being used to develop the spidersilkworm’s.
Now i'm all excited! Hope ur right :)
GO KBLB!
Alright, almost "power hour" if such a thing exists. No posts in a little while. I bet everyone is saying "your going the wrong way"!
I know I am
GO KBLB
I agree.
Depends on the type of fiber they produce first. I wouldn't be surprised if they have already obtained a means of manufacturing the 1st generation that was announced back in Sept. As far as the Gen 2 (High Performance Fibers) and Gen 3 (Medical applications) i believe they are still a few weeks off of achieving 100% spidersilk (according to the press release). Probably the end of the year IMO.
That is awesome! Something I have always wanted to try to do... and maybe now I will be able to afford it lol
I agree with you there, but remember that they are only trying to reach pure spidersilk to compete with Kevlar and other extremely high performance textiles. There are still many applications this hybrid silk such as clothing (and maybe airbags or parachutes)
I think antibiotic is the wrong word. It assists in the healing process because of it's ability to fly under the human immunity radar, not because it kills or slows down the growth of bacteria. The human immune system usually attacks foreign bodies like implants, but spider silk over comes that, allowing things like pacemakers integrated into your heart and tendons.
I bet this new process will help them achieve homozygosity straight out of the gate. From reading about the technology, it sounds like the ability to remove the unwanted genes also means that they will not be passed to the next generation
Wiki link to Sigma-Aldrich....
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sigma-Aldrich
And with two hundred proprietary spider silk sequences, that gives them 200 separate fibers that can be used for just as many applications. Does Dupont even have 200 different fibers they can market?
