"if you don't fight like hell you're not going to have a country anymore"
Kind of ambiguous and left to a lot of word twisting.
One could "fight like hell" by:
Volunteering as a campaign worker
Donating money to elect candidates that you favor.
Writing letters to Congress and your political representatives.
I think you get the gist. It might not mean the same thing that was communicated to or allowed to BLM and AntiFa. You know, attacking federal officers, police, federal buildings , business owners and destruction of private property. Of course, those protestors/riotors, could have felt that they could do such things, after watching others get away with it.
You think?????
You might want to play a word game, but those supporters were found guilty of insurrection to riot.
So who was found guilty of "insurrection to riot"?
All I see from your links is that some "Oath Keepers" have been charged with Seditious Conspiracy. No one, as of yet has been found guilty.
However, you were right in one sense, my link was dated before yours and the charges had yet to be filed. My Bad.
But, your comment was : but those supporters were found guilty of insurrection to riot.
I did not see that in any of your links, nor can I find proof to corroborate your statement.
Do your own research,
How can you post such statements here without providing a link? I thought that was one of the board prerequisites of making such statements.
The truth is, no one, as of yet has been charged with insurrection.
Reminder: Not one person involved in Jan. 6 riot has been charged with 'insurrection'
"For all the Democrats’ talk of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot being an “insurrection,” it’s important to remember that not one person involved in the riot has been charged with that crime."
"One year after the Capitol riot, no one has been charged with sedition or insurrection, despite initial Justice Department claims that such charges were likely and former President Donald Trump being impeached for allegedly inciting an insurrection.
Surely, if the rioters’ actions were as seditious and Trump’s foolishness was as dangerous as Democrats have claimed, we’d be seeing criminal charges that reflect the seriousness of those alleged crimes. But that hasn’t happened.
According to the Justice Department, more than 225 defendants had been charged with assaulting, resisting, or impeding law enforcement officers; at least 275 defendants have been charged with obstructing a congressional proceeding; and about 40 defendants have been charged with some sort of conspiracy charge.
But, again, no one has been charged with sedition or insurrection.
Perhaps that’s why the vast majority of voters on both the Left and the Right don’t agree with Democrats’ characterization of the Capitol riot as an insurrection. A CBS News poll released this week found that 70% of the people who voted for President Joe Biden and 84% of the people who voted for Trump considered the Capitol riot to be a “protest that went too far” — which is exactly what it was.
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/reminder-not-one-person-involved-in-jan-6-riot-has-been-charged-with-insurrection
Perhaps you should take some of your own advice and do a little research before making such outlandish claims.
Perhaps you should take your head from Biden's lap and quit stroking his leg hair and state some verifiable facts instead of displaying Trump Delusion Syndrome..
Did Dems’ Video Omit Trump’s Telling Supporters To ‘Peacefully and Patriotically’ Protest at Capitol?
Of course they did. It did not fit the liberal narrative.
https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/trump-peacefully-and-patriotically/
You might want to play a word game, but those supporters were found guilty of insurrection to riot.
Please show a link for any of those involved with the riot, that were found guilty of insurrection or insurrection to riot.
NOW we see the kind of genius Trump was praising, HIS kind of genius, not very stable and not really genius.
OK, I get it. Instead we are praising a man like this.......
WATCH: Biden Says He Loves ‘Kids Jumping On My Lap,’ Details Bizarre Leg Hair Story
"In a resurfaced 2017 video clip, Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden talks about other kids playing with his blonde leg hair when he worked as a lifeguard and how he’s “loved kids jumping” on his “lap.”
“I got a lot of — I got hairy legs that turn, that, that, that, that turn blonde in the sun,” Biden recalled. “And the kids used to come up and reach in the pool and rub my leg down so it was straight and then watch the hair come back up again. They’d look at it.
“So I learned about roaches. I learned about kids jumping on my lap. And I’ve loved kids jumping on my lap,” he continued, according to The Daily Caller. “And I tell you what, the men are now all men. The guys I worked with down here, and they’re all guys at the time, they’re all good men. ”

GEEZ!! How scary is this????

Some Americans (and others) are questioning Putin's mental state
Russian President Vladimir Putin has changed, says a growing chorus of current and former U.S. and allied officials. He’s more isolated, more eccentric, more dangerous and, perhaps most worrisome of all, more desperate, bordering on irrational.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/02/28/some-americans-others-are-questioning-putin-mental-state/
It’s time to question Biden’s mental health
It’s time to seriously question Mr. Biden’s fitness for the job. His lack of availability to the press, his verbal stumbles when giving teleprompter remarks, his obvious confusion when visiting offsite locations — all should set off alarm bells of cognitive decline.

Sorry, Joe: Team Obama refused to arm Ukraine at all
"Joe Biden has said that by holding up vital military aid to Ukraine, President Trump “used the power and resources of the United States to pressure a sovereign nation, a partner that is still under direct assault from Russia … to subvert the rule of law.”
That’s rich. The aid in question is lethal military assistance that the Obama-Biden administration refused to give Ukraine.
In 2014, after Russia annexed Crimea and began arming separatists in eastern Ukraine with tanks, armored vehicles and rocket launchers, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko came to Washington to plead for weapons to defend his country. In an impassioned address to a joint session of Congress — with Biden sitting directly behind him — Poroshenko said his country appreciated the nonlethal assistance he was getting, but declared “one cannot win a war with blankets.”
The Obama-Biden administration was unmoved. The Wall Street Journal reported at the time that “President Barack Obama stuck to his refusal to provide weapons or other lethal military gear to Ukraine.” Why?
Team Obama feared that lethal aid would provoke Moscow.
So what did the administration give him? Instead of rocket-propelled grenades, we provided food rations. As one frustrated former Pentagon official put it at the time, “What kind of message does that send anyway?”
Answer: a message of weakness.
When Trump took office, he delivered a message of strength. In December 2017, the new administration announced that the United States would send the lethal aid to Ukraine that Poroshenko requested and Obama and Biden refused — the sale of $47 million worth of Javelin antitank missiles.
In May 2018, after Ukraine tested its new Javelin missiles, Poroshenko exulted on Twitter “Finally this day has come!” and personally thanked Trump “for supporting Ukraine and adopting a decision to provide Javelin antitank missile systems.”
For Biden to now attack Trump for a temporary delay in a new round of lethal military aid reeks of hypocrisy. It was on Biden’s watch that the United States refused to deliver military aid at all. Yet the same vice president who sat there impassively while Ukraine’s president begged for weapons now dares to cite the Russian threat to Ukraine in castigating Trump?
Talk about chutzpah.

The world is united on Ukraine, divided on America

I was reminded today that Trump did nothing about Russia's occupation of Crimea for 4 years.
Trump imposes major sanctions on Russian oligarchs, officials, companies
"The Treasury Department, in connection with the State Department, targeted seven Russian oligarchs and 12 companies they own or control. It also issued sanctions on 17 senior government officials, along with a state-owned weapons trading company and its subsidiary, a Russian bank.
Mnuchin cited a number of Russian activities around the world as support for Friday's U.S. action, including Moscow's occupation of Crimea and violence in eastern Ukraine, support for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's attacks against civilians, and Russia's "ongoing cyberactivities" and efforts to "interfere in the democratic processes of the United States and its allies."

On the question of burden-sharing you give Trump so much credit for, Trump simply continued Bush
and Obama's push for countries to boost their spending to the commitments they had made.
It is truly puzzling to me, how nothing Trump accomplished during his term in office can be accredited to him. And all the fuckups of others can be somehow attached to Trump. Have you noticed this phenomena?
No presidents are perfect, and no presidents are totally imperfect. That is, unless one is a totally biased partisan.
Thank God for those that are independents and have to ability of independent thought process, who are the plurality of the voting public.
Let's see how all this plays out at the midterm elections. That may be an indicator of how the electorate feels about the current political climate.
You know, maybe Biden did the right thing here, or at least his advisors got it right.
I view the incremental increase of sanctions as a measured response, to incrementally assess how Putin would react to each escalation of sanctions.
I was all for going balls and all, from the beginning, but this seems to be playing out better, by giving allies a moment to think about escalation, before deciding to do so.
What remains to be seen is if Putin is irrational enough to use dirty bombs or some tactic like Assad in Syria.
This looks like the beginning of a no-win situation for Putin. And Russian Generals and/or power brokers have methods of deposing Russian leaders that cause disgrace and embarrassment to Russia on the world stage.
Even though Putin has loyalists around him, it only takes one brave soul to make the ultimate sacrifice for the "Mother Country" of Russia. And that would not surprise me at all. Hitler, a cruel & deranged despot, suffered an attempt by one of his Generals, although it failed. That ending would not surprise me at all.
I Demand Pelosi to command Biden to step down and Kamala Harris to step in
Have you lost your mind? Aren't things bad enough? I just hope we can survive another 3 years without a recession/depression and nuclear holocaust. More likely to avoid both with Biden than Harris (the laughing jackass).
Obama Reportedly Warned Biden About 2020: ‘You Don’t Have to Do This, Joe’
Former President Barack Obama wasn’t so sure Joe Biden, his former veep, should run for president in 2020, The New York Times reported Friday.
“You don’t have to do this, Joe, you really don’t,” Obama told Biden earlier this year, according to a Times source, prior to the former senator jumping into the crowded Democratic primary field. According to the Times, “Mr. Biden — who thinks he could have defeated Donald Trump four years ago — responded by telling Mr. Obama he could never forgive himself if he turned down a second shot at Mr. Trump.”
The Times also reported that Obama met with top Biden advisers in March and, according to the sources, requested that the ex-veep’s team do what they can so that Biden does not “embarrass himself” or “damage his legacy.”

It appears, according to current polls, that Joe should have listened to Obama.
Making NATO Stronger’ Again: Alliance Chief Says Trump’s Message Having ‘Real Impact
WASHINGTON, DC — NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, in a speech Wednesday marking the alliance’s 70th anniversary before a joint session of Congress, asserted that U.S. President Donald Trump’s insistence that member nations pay their fair share for their defense “is having a real impact” on increasing spending by allies.
NATO allies must spend more on defense. This has been the clear message from president Trump and this message is having a real impact. After years of reducing defense budgets, all allies have stopped the cuts. And all allies have increased their defense spending. Before they were cutting billions, now they’re adding billions.
Since President Trump’s inauguration, NATO members in Europe and Canada have added $41 billion to their defense budgets, Stoltenberg indicated, adding that the figure is expected to reach $100 billion by the end of next year.
Stoltenberg continued:
This is making NATO stronger. That money will allow us to invest in new capabilities our armed forces need, including advanced fighter aircraft, attack helicopters, missile defense, and surveillance drones. This is good for Europe and is good for America.
America’s NATO allies provide important capabilities, including tens of thousands of intelligence personnel and cyber experts giving the United States better eyes and ears where you need them — from tracking submarines in the Arctic to taking down the cyber networks of ISIS [Islamic State]. And Europe provides the U.S. with a platform to project power around the world.

Remember when Trump shamed Germany during a NATO Luncheon?
In a major shift, Germany will send weapons to Ukraine
In a significant shift, the German government said Saturday it will send weapons and other supplies directly to Ukraine and supports some restrictions of the SWIFT global banking system for Russia
Germany had long stuck to a policy of not exporting deadly weapons to conflict zones, including Ukraine. As recently as Friday, government officials said they would abide by that policy.
But the country — which has the strongest economy in the 27-nation European Union — has faced criticism from Ukrainian officials and other allies that it has not acted decisively enough to help Ukraine fend off the Russian invasion. Previously, Germany contributed 5,000 helmets to Ukraine’s defense, a move that was mocked on Twitter.
https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/major-shift-germany-send-weapons-ukraine-83131834
I know it is hard for the liberal partisans here to admit anything good that happened during the Trump Presidency, but to make accusations that Trump tried to break up NATO is ludicrous and absurd. And Biden is the beneficiary of this, as well as Ukraine and Europe.
But who would he nuke, Ukraine? What's the point of invading if you're going to destroy the country and poison your own troops with radioactive fallout?
Exactly. Perhaps this is just a Kim Jong-Un ploy, but who knows. Maybe Putin has some mortal disease, like cancer and wants to go out with a bang.
My hope is this. Putin will be defeated in Ukraine. He will bring such embarassment on himself and Russia that he will commit suicide, or a Russian General will depose him in the "Russian Way". Perhaps a Russian General will do that before Putin can reach for the Red Button.
Putin Puts Russia's Nuclear Forces on Alert, Cites Sanctions
President Vladimir Putin has ordered Russian nuclear forces on alert amid tensions with the West over his invasion of Ukraine.
KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — In a dramatic escalation of East-West tensions over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, President Vladimir Putin ordered Russian nuclear forces put on high alert Sunday in response to what he called “aggressive statements” by leading NATO powers.
The order means Putin wants Russia’s nuclear weapons prepared for increased readiness to launch and raises the threat that Moscow's invasion of Ukraine and the West's response to it could boil over into nuclear warfare.
Amid the worrying development, the office of Ukraine’s president said a delegation would meet with Russian officials as Moscow’s troops drew closer to Kyiv.
Putin, in giving the nuclear alert directive, cited not only the alleged statements by NATO members but the hard-hitting financial sanctions imposed by the West against Russia, including the Russian leader himself.

China's Xi, in message to N.Korea's Kim, vows cooperation under 'new situation' -KCNA
SEOUL (Reuters) - Chinese President Xi Jinping stressed to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un the significance of cooperation between the two countries, North Korea's state media KCNA reported on Saturday.
In a message to Kim, Xi said China is ready to work, together with the Korean side, to steadily develop the China-DPRK relations of friendship and cooperation ... "under a new situation", KCNA said.

That did not take long. Now, on to Taiwan.
Putin has nothing to lose, he is fucked, just how far will he go, who knows, but right now he is committed, everyone else is just moving their little armies around.
I wonder how it is that intellectuals place so much value on statesmanship and diplomacy, when dealing with an ex KGB man. Or a religious zealot in the Mideast. Aren't they smart enough to realize, it just does not work. While the statesman and diplomat are blabbing about, despots continue going about their activities to achieve their objective. Meanwhile, all the other intellectuals spend their time praising the ineffective for their restraint and diplomacy.
Obama was a smart man. But, his shortcoming was trying to prove just how smart he was, by using diplomacy in both Syria and Crimea. His greatest accomplishment was when he killed Osama Bin Laden. When he said the hell with what Pakistan would think and killed Bin Laden in Pakistan.
There is a balance necessary to when diplomacy and outright violence or a bit of sacrifice will be the means of achieving an objective. Too often, intellectuals try to outwit their opponent, relying on their intellect, only to prolong a bad situation or allow it to get out of hand.
There are people like Hitler and Putin, that scoff at diplomacy. Oh, they will pretend to listen, but only as a ruse to better their own situation and preparedness for their eventual action.
Ukraine will fall and be subjected to rule by Putin. And Taiwan will be annexed to China. Simply because some put such high value on negotiation and diplomacy. And, in my opinion, Biden is no intellectual, to begin with. I would guess his greatest ambition is to make out like he is one, by trying to be one. It won't work with Russia, China, Iran or North Korea.
Suddenly, the republicans are fully supportive of illegal immigrants overwhelming a country. By force.
And the converse would be "Liberals care more about the border integrity of other countries, than their own",
It is not that easy
There's that word again: "EASY".
I learned a long time ago, that to achieve the best outcome, the easy way is not always the best way.
We have told our allies that if it comes to a financial hardship (especially if has Mid Term Elections coming up), we value our lifestyle and money more than our proclaimed values of protecting the freedom and lives of others.
Talk about easy. Putin learned about easy, while taking Crimea.
Wonder how many billions of dollars in arms and weapons Putin will inherit, when Ukraine falls? And how many Ukraine lives will be sacrificed at the alter of "The Easy Way Out" of this.
And how long will it be before Putin moves toward the Balkans? Or how long will it take for Ji to annex Taiwan?
There are no easy solutions to these things, unless low oil prices and comfort of your proclaimed allies is more important and easier to accept than to suffer some hardship for the values one proclaims to have.
Joe Biden doesn't have a strong political hand to play on Russia
Just 36% of Americans approved of how Biden has handled the situation with Russia, while 55% disapproved, Gallup's latest survey showed. The poll was conducted from Feb. 1-17, as tensions between Russia and Ukraine were rising, but before Russia invaded. Those numbers are largely unchanged since an August 2021 Gallup poll, which showed Biden's Russian approval at 39%.

Majority of voters say Biden is too lenient with Russia: poll

Then there is the Russian stock market, it took a rather large hair cut yesterday, and has not really recovered. Putin's big banks are restricted, and his wealthy friends are learning the hard way that their funds are not welcomed anywhere.
The Ruble also went down,
Russian Stock Market, Ruble Rise After U.S. Unveils Sanctions
Russia’s currency and its benchmark stock index gained Friday after Washington implemented new sanctions against Moscow but refrained from completely cutting it off from the global financial system.
The U.S. rolled out fresh sanctions on Russian banks, including two of the country’s biggest, but declined to disconnect Russia from Swift, the financial-messaging infrastructure that links the world’s banks. Russia’s central bank said it will support banks under sanctions.
Russia’s benchmark stock index, the MOEX, gained 14% Friday after shedding a third of its value Thursday. The ruble rose 0.5% against the dollar, but still remains near its weakest level on record.
The cost of insuring against default on $10,000 of five-year Russian dollar-denominated bonds using derivatives contracts called credit default swaps edged down to $829 a year Friday from $889 a year Thursday, according to IHS Markit.

and you want to eliminate SWIFT.
Perhaps you misunderstood me. I do not want to eliminate SWIFT. I propose that Russia not be allowed to use SWIFT for their transactions. Biden said it was still on the table.
As for reducing oil production from Russia, it is their financial lifeblood. Would it create hardship? Of course. I would rather pay $7 a gallon for gas than commit American Troops to the Ukraine invasion. Maybe we could ration gasoline, like we once did during wartime. Fits with the Climate initiatives as well, as well as warn China that we mean business when it comes to stopping despots from taking over areas of the world that are happy and just want to be left alone.
Compared to the potential chaos of unbridled annexation of whatever Putin, Ji or other despots feel they have a right to, biting the bullet, instead of shedding blood seems the better choice to me. Just how long do you think Putin could survive such measures? The people of Ukraine are shedding blood and will be dominated by Putin for years, all because we don't want the inconvenience of having to spend more money at the gas pump or could not temporarily afford a bottle of French wine.
I guess that sums up our real values, when it comes to other human beings.
The hearts and minds narrative, as well as our total support speeches are hypocrisy, if we are not willing to make some sacrifice to back them up.
Your pipeline is meant for Canadian tar sands sludge, for export and too costly to refine into gasoline.
The fallacy of your argument is that what can be produced by tar sands oil, is being produced by crude.
Think oranges here. What is good enough to put on shelves for consumption, goes on the shelves. Lesser quality oranges are used in the production of juice and flavorings. If you were to throw away the oranges,
not suitable for grocery shelves, you would have to use "good" oranges for those purposes.
So, tar sands oil would eliminate some of the consumption of regular crude, for purposes other than the production of gasoline and other fuels.
What I said recently... guess I'm right. 2nd or 3rd story down.
The more important facts are:
While our hearts and thoughts are with the people of Ukraine, our pocketbooks are not. If America and its allies wanted to stop this, we would have done at least one of two things. Kick Russia out of "SWIFT" or put sanctions on the Russian oil producers.
Russia produces 10 million barrels of oil per day. Of which, America purchases 555,000. So, in essence, we and our allies are financing what Putin is doing.
https://www.statista.com/statistics/265187/oil-production-in-russia-in-barrels-per-day/
https://www.forbes.com/sites/rrapier/2022/02/21/russia-is-a-major-supplier-of-oil-to-the-us/?sh=49b82dea18c3
The partial curtailment of our domestic oil production in this country also provided an additional incentive to Putin to do what he is now doing. Where we could have had some leverage in meeting our own needs and reducing the shortages of our allies, we and our allies are dependent on keeping the oil flowing from Russia.
https://www.lawenforcementtoday.com/russia-ukraine/
In addition, China has been sitting and watching, to see how committed we are to stopping Putin. Because we were/are not willing to suffer the necessary economic hardship (which is a lesser evil than sending troops), has given China a glimpse of how much we might sacrifice, if China should move on Taiwan.
So, as our hearts and minds are with the people of Ukraine, we will soon be espousing the same sentiments to the people of Taiwan.
Just my opinions.
You just can't write stuff like there are "record numbers of illegal aliens are coming across" without a link.
Here are a couple of links. From CNN and NYT, no less......
Illegal Border Crossings, Driven by Pandemic and Natural Disasters, Soar to Record High
Migrants were encountered 1.7 million times in the last 12 months, the highest number of illegal crossings recorded since at least 1960.
https://www.nytimes.com/2021/10/22/us/politics/border-crossings-immigration-record-high.html
US on track to encounter record 2 million migrants on the southern border, government estimates show
https://www.cnn.com/2021/03/31/politics/migrants-us-southern-border/index.html
And of course I know the difference between migrants and asylum seekers. But, migrants using the guise of seeking asylum, seems to escape your acknowledgement.
And finally, I represented myself as leaning conservative, not liberal.
Do you think China wants to get left holding the bag on all our debt?
The trend has been for China selling off American debt, when it can. China owns American Treasuries. If they were to call in the debt they own, it would be cataclysmic to the American dollar. Of course, that would strengthen the Chinese currency, something that would slow their economic growth significantly.
But, as you say, the Chinese are more methodical and longterm thinkers. They would love to end the dominance of the dollar as the World Currency. Is it worth the tradeoff? Only they can determine that. The Chinese are not averse to sacrifice, if it pays off in the long term. And sacrifice it would be, if they killed off their largest trading partner.
Like I said, it will be interesting to see how this plays out. There are just too many scenarios to even make a subjective guess at this point. But many facts to consider.
because russia is such an economic sewer, a one trick pony, shutting them off from credit to keep their doors open might be effective.
Ah, but annexation of Ukraine to Russia will change all that. And their ne BFF (China) is more than willing to suck up grain, precious metals and oil, in support of Russia.
Going to be interesting to see how all this plays out. Especially if our European allies become starved for natural gas and oil from Russia. The longer Russia can hold out the more advantages the annexation of Ukraine will prove to be.
Exactly.
It is all about the money and the Russian economy. Which begs the question, "How effective are monetary sanction and is it worth the tradeoff".
Yes, Putin realizes there is much ado over Ukraine right now, but given that taking Crimea has since been accepted, he knows the same will happen over Ukraine and he (or Russia) will be better for it.
Did you know Ukraine's largest trading partner is China? Now, Russia will have more to offer it newest BFF (China).
I was wondering how long it would take for someone to put the pieces together and highlight how ineffective American Sanctions might be.
Now the next question is, how will Biden deal with China, if they take over Taiwan? The same motivation is there for China as is for Russia. And how do you sanction debt trading for China, when they are the second largest debt holder of America?
China will help Russia, much like they supported North Korea, when sanctions were placed on them. And don't forget Iran, which is an ally of both Russia and China and gets support from both.
Guess ole Anthony maybe ain't "got the chops" to "gloss" the CEO being arrested on freaking FINANCIAL CRIMES
Rumor is that Anthony sent a bill for the work she had done for Kisa and much to her dismay, 7 days later, she received a bushel of GIFA Tokens via FEDEX. When she tried to cash them in, payment was refused by her bank. She told Kisa that she was returning the tokens and was requesting Susan B. Anthony dollars in exchange. So far, Kisa has not responded, and negotiations are at a standstill.
I just don't get the context by which Biden & Harris have been judged incompetent.
Well:
Our energy independence is gone to begging the Arab World (at yes also Putin) to increse oil production so that we can buy, what we once had such an abundance of, we were exporting it.
The withdrawal from Afghanistan was a total clusterfuck.
Can't say that Biden has wiped out the Corona Virus yet, but seems that it is diminishing on its own accord, like most other flu variants. And let's not forget the lack of testing kits that he felt would not be necessary.
Our Southern Border is so porous, that record numbers of illegal aliens are coming across.
The supply chain chaos still exists (but getting better I might add).
Inflation is the highest it has been in decades.
And, we are yet to see how this Ukraine deal will work out, but given history, I would assume it will be another takeover like Crimea, with perhaps more bloodshed.
Biden was a part of the administration that drew a line in the sand (Syria), was the only one in the room that was against killing Osama Bin Laden, and watched Crimea go to the Russians.
Crime and homelessness has grown exponentially.
And, his communication skills have much to be desired.
He picked a partner, as VP, that could not even finish the Democratic
primaries and is not idolized as a leader in foreign policy, economics or national security.
I'd say that about wraps up the consensus of a majority of Americans.
in the stinky TRNC while also running a pure CRYPTO CON special
Well, with the sanctions on Russian Debt, perhaps Kisa and Grandex Financial can get some business from Putin. Of course, Grandex can only offer GIFA Tokens as of this date, as GIFX doesn't even have the cash to file an annual report or pay OTC Market fees. LOL!!
The Bogeyman to the sanctions on Russia.......
China's Support for Putin's Aggression Toward Ukraine Confirms the West's Worst Fears
"Meanwhile its purchase of Russian oil—bilateral trade rose 33.6% year-on-year to some $140 billion in 2021—is likely to dampen the impact of Western sanctions. Following the 2014 invasion of Crimea, several Chinese state banks provided loans for Russian counterparts sanctioned by the West.
The unknown question for Xi is what kind of economic retaliation he could expect for any offensive on Taiwan, and it’s in this respect that Ukraine might offer an example. At $1.7 trillion, Russia’s economy is less than one-tenth the size of China’s. If Western nations can’t handle the hardship of meaningful punitive economic measures on the Kremlin, then how would they stomach sidelining the world’s top exporter and trading nation? “The Chinese have reasonable grounds to believe that, if and when they are ready to take Taiwan, they will get a similar response [to that Russia receives for Ukraine],” Tsang says. "

Wondering how Biden will handle this inevitability?
You're going by polling?
Joe Biden's Approval Ratings Are Terrible, Even in Blue States—Polls

And what do you go by? The readings of the "Democratic Underground"?
I used polls to point out the (your) fallacy in stating only Conservative zealots find Biden/Harris incompetent. I don't base my own opinions on them. I liked the Infrastructure Bill, even though it was used to include things I did not like. But, that is politics, and no bill is perfect. I just wish more of the money had gone toward repairing roads and bridges.
I lean conservative, but by no means am I a zealot. I find today's political environment much like that of the attitudes of "Pro Wrestling" fans.
I'm 74 and remember when compromise was the fashion of politics and a time when no matter who was elected, we hoped they would do what was best for our country. I may be old fashioned, but I still believe there are good and bad in both segments or parties of the political world.
Today's political atmosphere makes me wish (like George Washington) that there were no political parties and that candidates were elected on ideas, not political affiliation. Being a team member is and should be limited to sports, not politics.
But, those are just my opinions, as old fashioned as they may be.
Outside of the Newsmax/ Breitbart / OAN bubble, literally no one thinks Biden and Harris are idiots.
Perhaps not idiots, but certainly incompetent. You might want to check out the less biased polls.

Biden:
"Asked whether Biden is mentally fit, voters are almost evenly split, with 46 percent saying he is and 48 percent disagreeing. But that negative 2-point margin stands in stark contrast to Biden’s numbers last October, when voters believed he was mentally fit by a 21-point margin."

"Now, as Biden begins his second year as president, majorities of Americans give him low marks for uniting the country, being competent and having the ability to handle a crisis, according to results from a new national NBC News poll."

Harris:
"As of Feb. 15, 39% of registered voters had a favorable opinion of Harris and 52% had an unfavorable opinion — a net rating of -13 percentage points, according to a Times average. This page will update as new polls arrive."

"Each only draws approval of a third of independents. For the independents who do approve of Mr. Biden, and those who voted for the ticket, they also see her as a net-positive for the administration, but independents overall are negative on both her performance and its impact, and that's similar to the patterns for Americans overall.

Pretty sobering and only slightly better than within the Newsmax/ Breitbart / OAN bubble
Every time you take your cheap shots at Biden or Harris I will bury your lame ass with endless examples of the imbecilities of Trump.
I have to assume that what you are saying is "Because Trump was an idiot, it is ok for Biden and Harris to be idiots". Makes sense to me. LOL!!
You missed the Dr. simply believes it's the best prescription for your medical condition.
A bit of an interesting story concerning doctors. I once had a doctor that asked me "Do you know why they call medicine a practice"? He said often times a doctor will tell you, "We will try this". "There are no absolutes when prescribing a medicine for an ailment, thus we do some guessing".
He also said that he often asked a patient if he had suffered the same illness or malady previously and if the patient had been treated for it previously. He would then ask if the previuos treatment was successful or the patient felt the treatment was adequate. If the patient answered in the affirmative, he (the doctor) would prescribe it again, even if he (the doctor) thought he had a better idea. The doctor then told me his reasoning. He said that if he prescribed something the patient was confident in, half the cure was accomplished, simply because the mind plays such a big part in healing.
Some would say he was a bit unorthodox, but I have to say, he was one of the better doctors I ever had.
Unless biology intercedes, Donald Trump will seek and win the Republican nomination for president in 2024.
It is my opinion, and just that, that Trump won't run in 2024. He will be 78 years old and again, my opinion, he won't be up for the long hours of a campaign. He is being coy about whether he will run again. To me, that means 2 things. He realizes he can have some impact on getting others elected and at the same time, add to the coffers of the RNC.
Of course, that is is just my opinion(s).
It is time, again, in my opinion, to get rid of all these old war horses (in both parties) and pass the torch to a younger set. If any of them had any decency (Trump, McConnell, Pelosi, Schumer, Sanders, Hillary, et al), they would gracefully fade onto the sidelines and offer their opinions and advice from there.
There is not going to be a war
Of course there won't be a war. Ukraine will fold and Biden will watch, like Obama did when Putin took over Crimea. But, Putin will play this out, so he can reap the inflated oil prices. Biden is such a dumb fuck. He was stupid when he was a Senator and he hasn't gotten any smarter. Obama had to take out Bin Laden without the support of Biden, who was against it. What does that say about the size of Biden's cojones?
The we will be on watch as Taiwan goes to China.
I wonder how much Putin's Bitch (Biden) is getting to run up oil prices to bolster Russia's economy? And the longer Biden dilly-dallys on the Ukraine situation, the richer Russia and Putin get. Oil prices were $48.52 on Dec 31, 2020 and are now $91.62. That is about an 89% increase. And Putin is loving it.
Get this: "According to Rosstat data, Russia produced an average of 10.36 million barrels of oil daily in January-May 2021, while the average US output was 11.10 million barrels a day, making it the largest oil producer in the reporting period. Saudi Arabia came in third, with an average of 8.27 million barrels of oil per day."
https://www.rt.com/business/530435-russia-us-oil-output/
I suppose after Putin racks up enough oil money to recoup the costs of invading Ukraine, he will attack and we will see the same as we saw when Putin took Crimea during Obama's tenure.
Guess the Biden family has not yet worked out the financial agreement with China to allow them to take Taiwan. But should not be too far into the future.
I thought Carter was a fuck up but when Biden was told that Carter was the stupidist President in American history, all he could reply was "Hold My Beer"!! LOL!!
YUP!! Everything is lovely since Biden took over.
