Bummer that the little price bump didn't hold.
What I like most is that $1.6M saves ENCR from diluting 11M shares (based on the recent financing) going forward in the race to profitability. A few unexpected orders here and there along the way and ENCR may avoid having to raise any more cash. Sure am enjoying those shares under .14 from a few days back :)
Well so far a bummer for all of us janey as nobody has had the opportunity to sell into a price spike this morning. This stock reminds me so much of many others I've held. Scratched my head for months or years wondering why they continued to remain undervalued and eventually each of them were recognized and the price went way up. It always takes so much longer than hoped for, this looks to be another case of hurry up and wait. But wow, the growth PYDS is showing this year is very admirable and exciting!
Are you going to sell if PYDS pops in the morning and buy back in a week or two?
Potential price appreciation appears neutered until Hoch is out of shares. How long is that going to take? 12 months? 24 months? In the meantime I'll enjoy buying little chunks along the way at bargain prices. I guess revenues and profits could continue to increase exponentially Q over Q and eventually penny-flippers, swing traders and value investors will find our golden little hiding spot before then. I wouldn't complain either :)
I love this little gem of a company. Keep that revenue pumpin and jumpin! Louie continue selling out your position, keeping the price deflated so we can scoop up more and more of this seemingly "sure thing" of a stock!
Funny stuff man, thanks for the chuckle!
If ENCR ever got to .15 again I was waiting to buy more. Got some under .14 today so I'm happy. If for some crazy reason it goes below a dime I'll add more there too. My holding period is months and years so if they want to wash some shares out for no good reason I'll add more and be thankful.
If this price action is signaling some bad news from the Great White North installation or more dilution then too bad for me I guess. You don't win if you don't play.
I'd pay more attention to the presentation released by ENCR. I will provide numbers with links to back this up.
If you finance an ENCR unit it is CASH FLOW POSITIVE in the 1st Year. See page 12. Why pay cash out of pocket if you can finance the equipment and it pays for itself with the electricity generated from day 1?
http://app.quotemedia.com/data/downloadFiling?webmasterId=101533&ref=9805221&type=HTML&symbol=ENCR&companyName=ENER-CORE+INC&formType=8-K&dateFiled=2014-09-15
As for how much it costs to produce units as speculated on earlier? Well, simply look at page 19 of the same link. Margins look good.
Projected cost, sales and revenue pages 19-21. If they project cost of production on 12 units in 2016 at approx. 7.7M (2mw units) + 2.5M (5 333kw units) = 10.2M. 2016 Revenue of 15M and if they hit that target (unknown at this time) then I don't see much needed in the way of raising cash or large amounts of dilution. I believe ENCR delays revenue 6-12 months before recognizing it due to the lengthy installation process.
I'd be happy to discuss this with you, but when the first sentence of your last 2 messages addressed to me either twist my words or assume I don't do DD leaves me not much choice but to stick with talking to others on the board. Maybe a little less of the condescending stuff in the future. Good luck to you.
Yes, to state that ENCR for 100% certain will not need to raise any more cash is inaccurate. Are you implying I said that? My statement in the post you replied to says I don't see massive dilution and ENCR won't require tons of cash to ramp up.
CEO said several months ago in an interview they forecast the company break even in around 18 months. Of course this also is not certain but it will require very few units sold to get there. Then they can grow either at the pace of units sold with little or no further dilution from there or they can raise more cash to expand quicker.
Sure it's risky but looks to have far better odds of being a 50 or 100 bagger than 99% of stocks I see out there.
Sure, but there's nothing really to discuss. This one is going to take 2 or 3 years to really start gaining momentum. Buy a few here and there, tuck them away and check the price in 2016. As long as the orders increase along the way no reason to sell. Can't think of a single reason why this stock won't run real good in the years to come except massive dilution. It doesn't appear ENCR will need to raise tons of cash along the way.
Goodness dshade, you turn up all over the place. I recently bought in to some CTEI at a pretty good price. Looks like a nice bargain at these levels. I keep bumping in to you and you're already in lots of these under the radar plays :)
Thanks for the additional PYDS shares Mr Hoch.
I'll give them a good home while waiting to see if revenues can continue the upward trend in 2015.
Yes, better. But still BOOOOOOOO! I hate waiting :)
I can understand the frustration of PYDS longs here.
Although the stock as gained 50%+ since Jan 2014 you would have thought with this kind of elusive hockey-stick revenue growth that the price should be skyrocketing.
For someone like me who has recently stumbled across this overlooked company the insider selling has allowed me open a position here this week. And from the look of things I'll be able to add all I want in the coming months.
In the end whenever the supply is exhausted this stock will run where it wants to go. I'm stunned to have found what appears to be an amazing bargain. Have no problem accumulating and then holding a few years. PYDS might really earn .03 or .04 in 2015, for .12? This is what you hope to find spending all that time digging for undervalued companies.
What I'm hoping for is CVE (it is CVE, right?) to be overjoyed with the current pilot test and throw down an order for XX or XXX additional units. At 1.8M per unit revenues would add up real quick.
What's really cool is the customer can finance the equipment and be cash flow positive the first year. No need to lay out multi-millions of $$$'s up front. The electricity produced pays for the equipment along the way until it's paid off. I'd love to finance a brand new car that began paying for itself when I drove it out of the dealership!
Yes, I'll keep the Z on watch for now. Had to add a little bit more RONE this week to lower the average. Sure hope the merger is finalized soon, get those quarterly dividends rolling in!
Not me today, but that "Z" one is high on my watch list :)
I tried on the bid as you both suggested with no luck today. Perhaps tomorrow. Could be my final attempt to add before pre-market news Monday making the merger official. Wouldn't that be a nice way to kick off the week!
I hope the 4 million is enough but am expecting them to raise funds another 1 or 2 times over the next couple years. Might need some cash to ramp up production due to an overflow of orders. Would be sweet if Russia got their ish together so they could blow the doors off!
Happy I could be of some help levelnever! I'm not so savvy on these reverse mergers but enjoying reading what you and db7 among other have to say on the subject. Seems like a fun way to sprinkle a little money around for potential nice gains while still being able to go about life for hours/days away from the stocks. Good luck to us all!
For anyone who has purchased RONE:
Have you ever put an order in somewhere between the bid and ask and had it filled?
There isn't really much to report until next year. Still slowly rolling the product out and probably getting ready to start taking on more orders. This should be a pretty dull ride news-wise until mid 2015 I would think. ENCR is beginning to set up shop in the deep, cold north right now and from what I recall listening to it takes 6 months or so to install.
Even while things are slow I'm still more excited about the potential of ENCR than any other stock out there. As long as there is minimal dilution until they reach break-even or possibly slightly profitable in 12-18 months.
OT: I had taken a break from researching stocks the last several years to grow my family and my own business, so no real good BK tips for now! Still holding my Lehman CT's for years. Some say they are worth zero, others say they will get face value with back dividends.
Otherwise one of the most interesting growth stocks I've run across in my recent spurt of research is ENCR. If management stays the course and things play out the potential revenues are vast. Wouldn't hurt to read/watch/listen to a bit of what they are up to. PXYN is a little post merger co. (PAWS) with revs growing quickly. Have my eye on END and KWK if they enter bk. Will post back when I find others :)
I hoped that might not be the case, but will be prepared to wait an unknown length of time. Usually I have a few BK plays in my portfolio so know all about hurry up and wait. You and levelnever have popped up on a few other boards I've been reading, will probably be waiting with you on some others fairly soon :)
If we wake up on Oct 7th with no filing, no news should there be reason for concern that the deal has fallen through? Or do they simply file something saying they need another 30 or 60 days?
Could be, who knows?
I did cash in some profits and lighten my load a little bit. Didn't want the entire paper profit to go up in smoke. Good luck to all of us!
OK, thank you! That is quite small so I guess Rampart is pretty unimportant in the overall picture.
Sure db7, if you know how far back to look that would be great!
I see in the latest 10Q page 15 there is a little chart with "cost of investment" and then a value as of 6/30/14. Rampart was listed as a cost of $1200, which seems like they own nothing essentially. But then my eye moves up to the line for Neuralstem and the cost was just under $7,000 and now valued at nearly $700,000.
Hope you find the links I provided earlier to be of interest.
Tip of the hat to you for mentioning the Regal One / Rampart connection mannken! I looked further the past few weeks at RONE and bought in there also. Not only do they have Rampart investment they also hold shares in CUR and warrants for more CUR @ $5. Lots of insider buying plus they are planning a merger by 10/6.
Not trying to pump as I'm holding for long term and it is super low volume at this time. Just found it interesting there are 2 publicly traded companies with ties to Rampart that are looking very intriguing. Thanks for the lead :)
Yay!
Managed to get a few buys in this week. If QUES hangs around here much longer might have to go for more :)
For anyone that missed it earlier. Love this interview with Mr. Sick.

Epic DD on this board, you guys have seen some nice rewards for your effort! Enjoyed reading back several hundred messages recently, appreciate having this to review. Finally opened a small position this week. If insiders have been purchasing at .50 .60 and higher then I should feel pretty good about it as well. Are insiders forbidden from buying for a certain amount of time prior to Oct. 6 deadline?
I started reading up here due to the deals with another company I own shares of QUES. Did not see the Rampart / Quest announcements mentioned here. May have missed that topic? Quest seems to love that Rampart technology! RONE still has an interest in Rampart correct? For anyone that didn't catch the PR's:

So much for that double bottom. Had to bail with a loss this AM when it was breaking down. Live and learn.
Mmmmmmmmm
Market keeps offering .038, so I had another helping.
We are in for probably a whole lot of these flat, unexciting days. Would be great to build solid support around .30 and then with successful pilot test in the great white north or other deals move up from there.
2015 should be popping with news and deals though.
OK, round 2 of trying to put in a double bottom. Hope this goes better than the last try :)
I'm thankful DRIO was so open and honest about no dilution until after Sep. 18! They gave everyone fair warning to get out prior to that. Will re-examine in the coming days/weeks.
Didn't quite make it, but another wonderful day of accumulation! I was considering adding a little more around .24 but ended up holding off for today.
So strong!
Have I mentioned this is my favorite stock of the moment? Have not discovered one with better upside. Do any of you have a ticker you like better than this one? Would love to hear about it if you do!
Yep, that was a huge point in favor of rolling the dice on PXYN. Actual SEC filings. Hoping the next 10-Q is better than the last. Eventually there will be a tipping point toward the positive.
That's the trick. Finding a handful of these companies that look extremely undervalued that aren't complete garbage and throwing a few bucks at each of them. Only have to hit one for 10x or 20x and then move on to the next round.
As you mention though short term trading is the best strategy for 95% of this garbage. I don't have the time to babysit my stocks most days so that isn't an option for me unless I get really lucky and one takes off shortly after purchase. That rarely happens for me, stock usually tanks moments after I buy :)
I'm still waiting to add around .15 :)
Don't think that's going to happen. Most small caps red today, ENCR so strong just 2 days after dilution. Very impressive!
