Well, if this company turns out to be what I think it is showing the potential to be, this may be a hold for 3+ years, at which time we may flirt with a dollar. If Ken does a buy back at anytime in between, hold the fuck on. Life changer? Yes, but go do something else for a while :)
All the news is great but I am personally looking forward to an earnings statement a couple quarters to a year from now. That is what will drive these things at a permanent level, vice a quick run up and sell off. For now, let's see those SEC and FDA filings! SEC filings are priority #1, in my humble opinion!
People want to see results! Walmart is where it is today because it makes shit loads of cash! SSWC needs to do the same! :)
Well, the mainstream thing to do now is have two websites. The second one is made specifically for mobile phones. No reason the main site can't be flash as long as the mobile version isn't.
They need to show a positive revenue trend in their next statement. Showing a profit at all would be a big deal here. With all of these PR's, it's the income issue that's holding this one down.
I like the alternative energy category templates.
Sorta. They are reselling it appears. Look up all of the solar panels and turbines on Amazon. Much cheaper there ;) I think the money is in the Kenergy branded products.
The interesting thing about the QVC wishes:
Ken Glynn worked with the other spin off, BGreen. He put the VibeAway patent into that company and it was featured on QVC about a month ago. So it would seem he already has an in route for that.
You guys need to not view this as accusations, and more like constructive criticism. There are very few aspects of this company that we have any say, knowledge, or expertise in how it's run. Ken seems to be very skilled in this type of thing and is doing great. No way will we be perusing and modifying his business model, etc. But, as "professional" online consumers, we can look at the website and be like, "Damn, that shit is whack, dawg." And that should weigh heavily as feedback.
You don't want to give a false impression. It's sort of like your wife or girlfriend asking you if you like the shirt she just bought you, and you smile and nod, except you hate it.
With the right advertising the Kenergy products will sell anyway, but not AS MUCH as they could, and that is the whole point. I'm really doubting the resellers like the wind turbines and solar panels, but I know there are a lot of people who don't comparison shop. And they also lend themselves to B2B quite a bit. In that market, they just kind of pay anythign as long as what they buy will deliver. So there may be hope for those products there.
Have you ever taken a single class on marketing? Or been involved professionally?
This is not the time to grow complacent. Everything is going GREAT. With a professional website that communicates the level of company we believe this to be, things would be perfect. A website is the single greatest bit of marketing for new companies. I don't doubt that Ken even shares our views about the website. Hopefully he's going to get around to it, and that's fine.
That's a negative. Refer to some of the other websites for the top 15 on Ihub. In fact, making unique, attractive, functional websites is so commonplace now, that if you go to templatemonster.com, you can have it with the click of a button. All it would take is an IT guy to get it up for you. Just sayin.
I don't think you guys get it. Websites are easily done in this era. With the type of money Ken is supposed to have, it is relatively a nonissue to say you want your website to be professional and attractive. It's not an attack on Ken, so no need to be defensive. I'm actually surprised that you, as a shareholder, don't see the room and need for improvement.
This is actually my main beef here. With all of that advertising, first impressions will be a big deal. This isn't expecting too much. A phone call and about $500 could deliver something very professional. Don't you want to wow everyone? Intuit is the company that owns products like Quicken and Mint.com. I guess they have small business website solutions too. Those sites are typically cookie cutter though.
Again, pleased overall. Just see a prime opportunity.
It is fine. I think most of us just think that it really only takes a quick handful of cash to deliver something super.
That was from 6/2 though. Although volume hasn't been high, so that might keep it alive.
TEMPLATEMONSTER.COM KEN! Do it! lol. On the bright side, the shopping cart functions nicely.
Only the Kenergy branded products, I would assume. The rest is reselling at a high premium. Don't those will sell too well, but the branded products are really where it's at anyway. Mass consumerism. The resold products are by and large a little more on the B2B level. Not really worried about those.
I agree, but not everyone has Paypal, and may not be willing to sign up just for this. Everyone has a credit card though!
Without a doubt. I just really want that opinion to make it his way so he understands. Not everyone is web savvy. Gotta lend a hand where you can!
KEN LOOK!
Templatemonster.com!!!! Cheap!
FIVE FIGURE PRINT MEDIA ADVERTISING
For the website. Please, get that thing up to speed before so many people get that first impression. I hesitate to buy stuff on sites that look this generic. Just constructive criticism! I smell $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
WEBSITE IS ATROCIOUS!
But the products are AWESOME. Going to make tons of money. Please Ken, it is worth a grand or so to get a Pro to deliver a nice, professional website with credit card processing, graphics, logos, etc.
Well, it's simple, really. If this company is destined for greatness(ie. DOLLAR LAND) then it will be because the products sell so well that earnings statements will show millions upon millions in revenue. Investors will flood in and raise it accordingly. Luck is only a factor when earnings are like meh and you really never now if they will grow or not.
I thin we sit at this level or lower until the next earnings statement, which, I friggin swear, better show an upward trend.
I believe this is current as of June 15ish. FWIW

A lot of the old DD has vanished since all the speculation about what SSWC will become has been put to rest. There was an article about how Ken Glynn was acquiring financing for this company in beginning of 2009. There has been a lot of planning me thinks. I believe the reason we are and will be getting a steady stream of PRs is because there is a lot of shit in place already. Product launches on July 7th, can't get any clearer than that.July 7th: products being sold, generating revenue.
OTC just means we're under more regulations. It's a testament to transparency and accountability. Always a good sign and investors obviously like the jump from PK to BB, etc. PK and OTC can both be pennies.
It's above BB that the high standards start to kick in. For instance, to get listed on NASDAQ, at a minimum a firm needs $15m stock holder equity, $2.2m EBIT, $8m market cap, $5 PPS, 450 shareholders, and 3 MMs.
Interesting to think that the new volume today was from those who were in on any testing of the medipayment system. Would be a great sign.
Pinks are pinks for a reason, but remember that SSWC as Kenergy Scientific Group is a NEW company that is using an old ticker. In other words, let's not look at the pinky status and think that Kenergy is slipping and dishonest. This is the ground floor!
Someone also mentioned earlier that this will take time to generate revenue, because it is an upstart. True, and taking time isn't necessarily a bad thing. BUT, this company has been around in a developmental stage with Ken for some time now, and he is bringing it public as some of his products are all set to go. He didn't just have this grand idea a month ago and start making bold claims about getting financing in order to see his ideas come to fruition, rather that was all done in the past and by going public he's saying, "It is time."
How 'bout it's time for us all to get paid.
I think many of us are expecting this to graduate to OTC status in the near-term.
Awesome news today. I tripled my position, and I do want to thank the flippers for that.
Remember that there is a specific date in the short term here to look forward to: July 7th. Website + product launches.
Other big things to look forward to: FDA filings. SEC filings. Patent filings. Earnings statements. New products. Contracts.
Some of these are slated for the short-term, so HOLD!
I'm good with a dime. That's roughly a three bagger from the split.
Dollar Land?
COME ON!!!!!
And actually, there was a subtle hint Ken left in that PR about the float. You really should be buying right now.
Very exciting. I made a couple moves. Gonna try to double my position on Monday ;)
This is not good news. It's not necessarily bad, though. More regulations also implies greater acceptance. But the 3rd to last line should say it all.
No, but they short for a reason. The PPS is going down. A lot. There's not much reason to believe a squeeze is imminent. In other words, they are covering as they go because the falling PPS is allowing them to do so. You get a squeeze when they short the shit out of it but the PPS goes up.
Well if it continues to fall for the next week, we might not be able to count on a squeeze anymore.
Not sure if I understand this post correctly, but it happens frequently still. Do you not trade pennies usually these days?
Man we went over this months ago. Sorry you're new here but let's eep focus on what's going on right now.
