Since mid-August, we have made some positive strides in decreasing our hard monthly operating costs and overall cash burn. Not only have we decreased the amount we are spending
on feedstock, but we have also been running efficiently in terms of our workforce at our Niagara Falls, New York plant.
We’ve also seen significant cash savings in the months since closing our recycling center.
We have also decreased any type of spending that is not relevant to our goal of making fuel. This includes a significant curtailment of any spending related to facility upgrades or improvements to the property and buildings here in Niagara Falls.
Although SG&A costs were approximately $2.73M during the third quarter of 2013, a portion of this expense, approximately $1M, was related to non-cash stock-based compensation charges for employees, and also the one-time immediate vesting of options of prior executives.
Additionally, costs related to severances paid in cash were approximately $180k. We are continuously working to keep spending at a minimum, and believe we are executing in that regard successfully.
Oh you can believe it's true.
The manipulated low share price doesn't make a difference at this time. When it reaches $20.00 a share I'll consider selling some. And guess what - that day is not far away as we have the best plastic pyrolysis processor the world has ever seen.
When JBI is capable of consistently running 2000+ lb/hr for 30+ continuous days over a 2-3 month period I expect we'll see major media lining up at the door for feature interviews just like buyers are lining up for processors.
Tick Tock
We shall see.
You're forgetting a number of things:
1) there is plenty of optimal plastic which can be obtained without much effort;
2) they save tipping fees;
3) they save expensive landfill space (thus the environment);
4) they create usable fuel that can be used their plants and in fleets (eventually);
5) tax benefits;
6) positive publicity
All of these things will assist making processors extremely viable (especially Waste Management Companies - and there are lots of those around the world).
I'm thinking we may see the share price climb steadily now. 4kids9pets recap should be quite revealing and should give us a pretty good idea.
With the eminent sale of Processors 4 & 5 there may not be a need for further financing.
JBI is very close to total success here. We'll all know for sure within the next 6 months. Financing is almost a guarantee especially with Rick Heddle (our largest investor) at the ready, if needed.
Mr. Heddle's comments from the Dec 10, 2013 AGM
"Additionally, we continue to be in talks with potential buyers for machines four and five.
We have received many questions regarding the business model of such a deal, and while we work out the specifics on a case-by-case basis, a potential deal would involve an up-front licensing
fee with continual royalties on fuel production, as well as machine maintenance, software maintenance, and our proprietary catalyst."
And so it goes:
The latest AGM provided very precise details of the progress made over the past 4 short years. JBI has evolved the technology to the point where they have a flag-ship modular processor that's capable of running in excess of 30 days with continuous clean-out, continuous through-put of over 2000 lb/hr and producing in-spec fuel.
Processors 4 and 5 are at least 75% complete and when sold will instantly provide in infusion of multimillion of dollars making the Cash Flow Positive.
7.00 was an anomaly as is .7
The best Plastic Pyrolysis Processor in the world has been created by JBI and to think that they did it with far less funds and in far less time than should have been possible. Sure, it would have been better if processor # 1 could have been the flagship but after a few months of operation it became evident that a new design was required. Processor # 2 was also expected to be "the one" but, without continuous real-time clean out, it too needed to be redesigned. Processor number 3 has real-time clean out and continuous operation of 30+ days.
The current manipulated share price has absolutely nothing to do with how well processor # 3 works/will work in the future nor does the current share price have anything to do with future share price.
When processors 4 and 5 are sold (hopefully in Q1) the company will instantly become cash flow positive. The designs/engineering are all in place for quick roll-out of the modular processors going forward.
Well every time it went down for the last few years that type of post was made so thought I'd say the same thing the other way.
Price on the rise. Someone knows something?

People aren't getting out - what's the point? They're in this for big returns. If someone sells 10,000 shares what will he/she realize, 6-7 hundred bucks?
Sure they're going to run right out and sell as that money is so very important. lol
Did Mr. F have some type of crystal all those years ago? How did he know whether JBI processors would be feasible or not.
It appears that he was wrong as JBI has created the world's best plastic Pyrolysis processor and they are on the verge of greatness.
The manipulated stock price has absolutely nothing to do with the success of this JBI.
If people are/were listening to advise on a stock message board they need to find some other form of due diligence.
LOL - If what they're doing is a success then JBI is Golden.
I wonder where they are storing all their toxic wastes and where they're selling their heated peanut butter like gel.
Does anyone know if Waste Management is still backing this company?
And, if you can provide the names of the companies in the 3 states I'll make some inquiries - see how it's going there.
I'd compare years of operation - I believe Agilyx started about 4-5 years before JBI and expect they will pass Agilyx 3 processor sales this year.
LOL - that link is a joke - some bitter person upset that he received a cease and desist notice for defamatory attacks against against JBI and it's officers and directors. I guess the Notice worked though eh?
totally agree.

I expect that technology is pretty much finished. They can't solve the problem of toxic wastes and toxic water. Disposing of it cost 100,000's of thousands of dollars.
The product is a peanut butter like goo that's sent to a refinery and added to other products for refining.

If you actually read the AGM you'd see that the hot tap in processor # 2 was added but it only worked occasionally. After a few months of operation they couldn't find a resolution to the issue.
Everyone here must remember this is new technology and there are bound to be unaccounted for issues arising (You don't know what you don't know.) Thus the creation of # 3 - The Flagship - modular, with continuous through-put, continuous real-time clean out and continuous 30+ days of operation.

Your are absolutely correct - those problems didn't exist in 2011 when Mr. Bordynuik went on T.V. When both machines 1 and 2 were built they fully expected them to work as anticipated. After a time each were found to have problems. Their claims at the time were true but soon changed when clean-out resulted in too much down time. They projected roll-out with each model but those unexpected issues resulted in the need to evolve the processor to where we are now. Processor #3 is much different than the first two processors with the early problems seemingly resolved (continuous clean-out and 30+ continuous operating days).
If that remains consistent then they have they're flagship. And there appears to be a huge market because as soon as they reported the early results, buyers started lining up.
Who is not being paid??
Absolutely not - especially when your main source of feedstock for processor #3 are crayola products from all the U.S. and the manufacturing plant in PA.
Where have you ever hear real-time clean out and continuous runs of 30+ days - I never heard that before. Those issues resulted in the creation of Processor # 3 which eliminated both problems.
Where is there any report that the company declared BK?
I'm a shareholder and there was nothing confusing to me. They admitted the cost purchased by the previous CEOs and their hires were very expensive and much of it contaminated. That's gone now - they didn't hid anything.
What's not good? Everyone heard the AGM. Everything in that suggests only great things are about to happen.
Exploited by JBI? There will always be a way to turn a great environmental initiative into a tragedy. You wouldn't think that could be possible.

Everything's a potential deal until finalizing. But isn't it great that one is in the works. Shouldn't be too be long now.

I know, they're good eh? Desktop model to the most advanced plastic pyrolysis processor in the world today - and in just 4 short years.
