Fidelity shows $.195 bid and $.55 asked. Is this an error or something new and crazy? Can anyone confirm the current bid-asked?
TIA
Lowman, The critical question is , " At what price will the short sellers cover?" There has been steady buying support around$.22. When HMGP starts to rise, they will have to cover and quickly. They may be manipulative but they are not crazy. I suspect that they have tried to drive down the price at a time that KA has limited disclosure of reserves, The rain has limited drilling in Kansas, and Wilshire is quiet. As the news turns positive, more buyers will appear and the shorts will have to cover. So, where is the cover point, $.30,.35. .40?
Can someone explain why anyone, amateur or professional is anxious to sell HMGP at $.22 in volume? If they simply wait a week or two, they can get a minimum of 20% more. I am mystified.
I don't believe it is short selling at this price.
TIA
Lowman, At what price do you think the short sellers will cover? I would think that they have significant paper profits on the drop from $.40. Concerted buying by dedicated HMGP bulls could panic them into covering as the stock price jumps. Thanks for any comments.
Is there an experienced investor who can explain the trading pattern in HMGP? 411 or 500 shares traded at the asked followed by 5000-10000 shares traded at the bid. Is it distribution? Is it sophisticated patient accumulation? The heaviest trading volume appears at the lower price.
I bid $.265 limit and was filled at .26 for 19,000 shares. I am not complaining but that only happened to me when a stock was falling. any serious answer would be appreciated.
mschere, Sorry. My wife called me away before I sent my message.
I am interested whether there is a reasonable answer to our question.
Why doesn't QCOM simply license the BRCM patents in question?
Can someone explain to me why Interdigital does not seek an injuction against Samsung, Motorola, Nokia, SNE to prevent the use of their IPR in the US, and China? It seems to me that the major mobile phone operators would be concerned about the availability of the highly publicisized 3G phones and would seek financial guarantees that they would be available. Apple would be a different example of a company needing a guaranteed supply of product after their enormous investment in the i phone. It is an aggressive strategy but the threat alone could aid the licensing program.
We have lift off. Now, I don't have to read about reverse splits, Marines, or grumbling. We are getting back to the increase in HMGP stock price. Put on your hats and enjoy the ride.
"People, Land, and Technology are the building blocks of value creation" according to Aubrey McClendon, CEO of Chesapeake Energy. He built his company into the third largest independent natural gas company in the USA.
Keith Anderson has the same beliefs and is in the process of building a amall successful company.
I own more HMGP than CHK and am frustrated by the undervalued stock. I am holding tight.
I am amazed that the fortune teller recommended HMGP. Please ask her what price it is going to.
Faithful and Gullible
The float is 20 million shares according to this site. If 20 stockholders buy 1 million shares each at $.30 or less for a maximum expense of $300,000, the aggressive sellers would be gone. I would appreciate any comments on this hypothesis.
Is the bottom in? Is Wilshire buying? Market is closed on Monday so there will not be a chance to buy until Tuesday on any announcement late on Friday.
I just bought 12000 shares at $.24. My wagon is loaded and I am ready for news.
An injunction against Motorola's new Razr 2 is needed. Attack the weakest major cell phone producer, not the strongest. Motorola has just introduce their latest and most advanced 3G product. They are under attack by Icahn. They are in no position to bluff their way through an IPR battle in the courts. JMHO
1581, give us the outline. You didn't say anything useful. Is there a pig in the poke?
nhguy, What is the secret? The market says it is negative because the stock has dropped. Help me here!
Confused and concerned! What does Wilshire want and why has Hemi given out their number to call them? What is going on?
I have loaded up but now I won't buy any more until this mess is cleared up.
Mike, Thanks
I can't get my order filled to buy at $.26. Fidelity shows .25-.26. I smell a rat.
Buy! Stop complaining about MM's. I bought on Friday and again today at $.30. Put on your HEMI hats and buy.
I worked in R&D for 40 years. After almost every invention, someone would say it was obvious. However, it wasn't at all obvious until it was disclosed. Science is built on preceding knowledge but discovery still requires imagination or a connection with another expertise.
The Supreme Court has just screwed up a patent system that has produced more benefits than abuses. This is a great day for IP thieves both foreign and domestic and technology consultants who will swear to the obviousness of a patent.
What do you think of my estimate that Hemi hat owners are holding tightly to more shares than the MM's are short? Wouldn't that add fuel to the fire?
I am buying, my wife is buying, my son and daughter are buying, and my nephew is buying. We now own more shares of HMGP than any stock I have ever owned. We can't resist a bargain. I am wearing my Hemi cap again.
I filled at $.41 but it never showed on Schwab. I ran out of patience at $.39 and $.40. Thanks for giving me the quotes.
I have moved up my bid to $.41 and no fill. Meanwhile there is a sale at $.39. I think the MM's are jerking me around. Please show me the current Bid-Asked.
TIA
Zguy No luck. Someone else got 5000 at $.39 not me. Did they move it up?
Thanks
Bid and asked, please. I am bidding $.39 and no luck. i am wearing my HEMI hat.
TIA
zguy, You and your friends are competing with me for cheap shares. I have to keep raising my bid and I am having trouble catching up to the price. I have stopped wearing my HEMI hat so people will stop asking about it and buying the stock. Let's keep this stock a secret until our stockings are stuffed.
What is the bid-asked now? anyone? TIA
stsamlouis: The MM's are not showing my bid at $.38. Attention Lowman, something smells here and it isn't fish. Don't the MM's have to show the highest bid?
I am trying to buy at $.38 but no seller yet. What is the bid -asked?
I am trying to buy at $.38 but no seller yet. What is the bid -asked?
Cramer and Forbes were right. IDCC is a litigious company. ( not like the leading corporations, Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, and Qualcomm.)
Nervousnellie, Thank you. I raised the bid to .42 and still can't get filled. Aren't there any sellers out there? Come on you skeptics. This stock isn't going anywhere.
Bid and asked,Please? I can't get filled at $.41
What is the bid and asked? TIA
my3sons, Is it gravamen or not?
Eric, Is it Gravamen or an existential elaboration of an unreconstructed postulation. I leave it to others more knowledgeable than I to decide.
My Hemi cap arrived today. My wife thinks it is too youthful for an old fogie like me. I am wearing it now as I place a large order to buy. I will show her when I buy a sports car with Hemi colors to match my cap.
