Well let's see here. Even if, by some miracle, JP/FDIC, whoever is found guilty, that will probably be weeks if not months down the road. By that time, the transition of all the WaMu branches to JP Morgan Chase will have been completed. So, IMO, it will just make more sense for JP to either buy out the remaining shareholders for the closing price of WaMU before the takeover ( I believe it was around $4 and change ) or offer some kind of share swap( which I think no one here wants ).

Anyone else have educated guesses ?

Yeah. Maybe the big boys know that there are flippers out there who are all too willing to make their profit, so they keep the price down while at the same time accumulating those shares.

Hey Rich, I feel your pain. I too have been royally screwed by Peacock in the past, including the hole JP Trucking fiasco. However, it could also be very possible that it is him and his buddies buying up the shares. It that scenario, he could still do a R/M without a R/S. Could that not happen ?

For some people it was a long-term investment until they were raped, so now some are averaging down to flip at a certain price to recoup their losses. Others might have just sold out to save whatever little they had left.

Let's just hope that there is something left for us remaining shareholders. At this point, I would settle for 0.15. That would allow me to basically break even, but I'm pretty sure that many others would need a much higher PPS to do the same.

Let's hope that there some agreement come about that would benefit all involved here. Who knows, maybe JP Morgan grew a conscience over the weekend and decided to offer $1 a share( not likely, but hopeful) .
