Sorry everyone for the delay. I call Bruce on this number and left him a message not more than 2 min. ago.
I can not understand why Bruce couldn't get financing from Feb to July, all banks were giving them. However now, no banks are giving any loans, any they deem risky, even with an open flow test, until the bailout goes through and market settles down. Take it from someone who deals with many of the major banks in NYC. On the Today Show this morning, some crazy economic analyst stated that as many as 804 (notice the specific number he gave) over next year or two can go down. He also stated "that if you have money in the stock market, to take it out and not invest in it for at least five years, if you want to eat". Lastly he blamed everything on 9/11 stating it all started at this time, when we were in a recession and the gov't intervention is being felt now. This is at least the worst case report I've heard of since the early 1990's (I called him crazy because he blamed it all on 9/11, a little far fetch in my eyes).
Are you sure of the min. percentage, I got the impression that they owned the land as well (500,000 acres+). If thats so, why would they own only a min %. Who owns the acres then, like I said, I got the impression they owned the land.
How did you get this info. It's really interesting and yes if he didn't report it to shareholders on the filling, then I agree that we may have fraud here by mgt. Is there a body that can be contacted to investigate this matter on behalf of stockholders?
Does anyone know exactly how many shares are issued and outstanding? and how many shares are authorized?
Lars:
If you got a phone number for Bruce, please email it to me and the time of day you spoke to him. All my attemps have been NG. My time is USA EST. I believe you live in Europe, so maybe when your calling him, it might be in middle of the night where he lives and he's talking to you in his sleep with out thinking, which would be alot closer to the truth than in middle of day. Forward email to A44975@Iwon.com.
Thanks
Bricker: I'm glad you see it my way. but whats not mentioned here is that everyone is talking about Gas. Back in June they announced that a test well in Kansas produced 65 BBLs of oil (on 500,000 acres they own). I don't exactly remember where I read this, but an article at the time stated that they can put up to as many as 10,000 pumps on this land, over a period of 5 years. Why is no one talking or getting any info on this. I have been out of the loop for a while, any new insight since June on this issue is worth memtioning.
Mike: I understand your worries. But I thought that the reason the shares went up was in trade of debt. Did they issue additional shares outside of those for debt? Can they issue additional shares without approval of stockholders?
I'm not farmiliar with trade laws on this issue. Your thoughts would be appreaciated.
I don't understand the negative talk here, it's all just spec. what you say. Fact is, the connections of the pipes are done, the gas will start flowing, might be some down time until all the bugs are worked out, but I see positive news ahead.
I just spent about 1 hr making various Long Distant calls. My calls were to try and reach Edwin Mah (there are many Mah in phone book). I also called bruce again and again left message on his voice mail box for him to call me. As for Mah, most of my calls were NG, however there was two in Calgary, CA. One just gave you no idea you reached a voice mail box, you talk and leave a message. The other one, when I said I'm looking for the MAh who work for PPTL, I was hung up on. I called back and got a buzy signal. I tried 10 min. later and still got a buzy signal.
Did any body speak to Edwin Mah (Sec. of PPTL) or even Doug Mc Clennan (Member of Advisory Board). If you did, can you please give me his phone number. As I said I don't know if I got the correct phone numbers.
Thank for your thoughts. But it's still hard to sit straight for long periods of time, without the mussel supporting the chest hurting. This will go away within a few weeks, as my stength rebuilds.
How about this for a thought, instead of calling bruce, we get all of the BOD personal mailing address (must be in phone book somewhere) and send them acutual mail, telling them of our concerns, asking questions and reminding them of their fiduciary duty to shareholders. Maybe someone will respond, even if he/she doesn't identify themselves. With sometime on may hands before I go back to work in 2 weeks, I will give this avenue a shot (it might be a shot in the dark, but a shot never the less).
Not a plug. I was in hospital with heart bypass surgery, I was really out of the loop for a while. Do you know anything about this Kansas oil find (Any news).
Thanks: It looks like I purchased 150,000 shares 2 days before all this happened, just my luck!
I have been out of the loop for a while.
About a month ago this stock was selling for about .005 per share, can anyone tell me what happened to make this radical change?
I was out of the loop for a while, besides the Gas operations, did you hear anything about the oil find in Kansas and what they are going to do about it?
Greg:
Yea tell me about it.
Just got out hospital, hard to sit straight for long period of time, until I heal, seems like a few people got through to Bruce, but no new info seems to be coming out.
I don't understand what everyone is so concern about AJ Belfour, they are an investment house buying up stock below .01 and selling at .01. I have seen this happen before (including to me by Paine Webber (Now UBS). Thats why I don't use them anymore.
Question is whats next? Do we sit and wait some more? I don't know! The only thing left I can think about is contacting SEC, see if they have a legal department and ask questions what to do? What do you say/think?
P.S. Greg, Now I see your asking really good questions, which should be answered. Keep it up. I'm sorry I had to push you to it, but now I think your truely concerned. Go back to being moderator.
Thank Greg.
Listen for all of you. My heart condition is due to Diabities. Unknown to me, I developed it 4 years ago. The diabities attacked my heart and gave me 3 baby heart attacks which I never new I had. The moral is to keep an eye on your blood sugar, in U.S. if your count is above 120, bring it down (mine was 363). Europe and Canada has a different count system, so have it looked into when ever you go to the doctor.
I agree, I will try one more time tomorrow. Hopefully he'll pick up instead of his answering machine.
Turnning Bullit: Thank you for being tackful, but as Greg knowns I'm upfront. I am getting ready to go into hospital for a major heart operation in two days (5 bypasses). I will not be on line for at least 2-3 weeks (doctors says I have a 95% of getting through O.K.).
So I hope everything goes well for everyone!
I'v called bruce and left messages 3 times over past 2 weeks. No return call yet.
Pigfarmer5, I don't know exactly what you ment to say, but I'm talking from liveing through it, here in NYC, and the Farmers Almanac has been wrong for the NYC city area for last 17 out of 18 years (1993 being the only exception).
Sorry I counldn't get on line yesterday, one of my co workers walked into office, felt dissy, sat down and died of a brain anurisim. You can imangin the confusion going on here.
I did get on line last night and filed my complaint to OEC, I hope everyone did also. Maybe It might trigger some response or even a statement from Bruce.
Please send me where you saw this, last I saw it was incorporated in Canada.
I hate to tell you, Farmers Almanac doesn't take into account Global Warming. It hasn't been right since 1993 about it's winters here in North East USA. The only reason it was right in 1993 was due to Mount St. Helen with it's ash blocking the sun. That lead to one snow storm after another in 1993. Since then Almanac has been wrong.
To Delspam:
All your findings are/is old news to us. We have gone through this before. Islandkim spoke to Bruce in June of this year. He told her that he will make an announcement in few weeks. Today is Aug. 29, 2008, 2 1/2 months has gone by and still no announcement. I have been calling for a mass complaint to OEC. A bunch of us will file a complaint on Sept. 2, 2008 to OEC (Ontrio Exchange Commission) asking for an investigation. It's clear mgt has disreguarded it's fiduciary dury to it's investors. They either gave vague announcement since it's findings of flowing sand oil or announcement that ment nothing (Like hiring an engineer) or kept quiet (like it's doing now). Many of us sent email, regular mail and made phone calls with no response. Only Islandkim and Greg were ever able to talk to Bruce. From the looks of it, Greg hasn't spoken to Bruce in a While also. The only recourse left to us is to make an official complaint. If enough people complain at once to OEC, than maybe they will look into this company.
I'm making a complaint to the OEC (Ontario Exchange Commission). I already tried the SEC, sometime ago, they referred me to my state, which is of no use because the company is not incorporated in NJ. It appears to be a Canadian company. Which nis why we should complain to OEC.

Anyboby know whats moving the stock up today?
Greg. Good point about chamber of commerence. I'll see if I can reach them. By the way what the name of the town that is near the Lake. I'll see what I can find out.
ZMAN2773: Many of us have waited too too long and we ever got was vague info at best. It's now over six months since his last info. I just finished a refinance job for three buildings for one of my clients and it only took 4 weeks. I just started to work on refinancing 2 Hotels in NYC for another client and it should only take 3-4 weeks. Six months is way too much time to get financing. I believe they just living off our investment until all the money is gone. Then what? Will they declare bankruptcy? Maybe sell off the assets to another entity they created for themselves? Or maybe they have an agreement already in place for another entity totake over PPTL at .001 or .0001 per share?
Join us, on Sept. 2nd, hopefully many of us will file a seperate complaint with OEC. With many complaints, maybe they'll start an investigation! The more complains, the stronger our side will be.
Next week tuesday (day after labor day), we all should make a complaint to OEC. With enough complaints, espicially on same day, OEC should look into this.
For Turning Bullit and Lars, Labor Day is a holiday in U.S., stock market is closed, so we make the complaint on September 2nd instead of Sept. 1st.
I'll pray to the energy gods that your right.
Dear Wise 312:
You still refuse to see the global picture. How many times was it announced that when a company finds oil they also found x cubic feet of gas as well. It happens all the time. It's you that has a narrow focus of a company and not a global focus. Why do you think most of these companies names include "Oil and Gas".
Wiseguy: Your coming into what I hope is a silly end to a debate on gas and oil. So I don't expect you to understand unless you read all of the messages involved.
To make the story breef. I was explaning that maybe the stock of HTOG was going down last week Friday, was maybe due to oil prices going down. Then I had to go on and explain the global aspect of speculation of oil and gas buyers. However certain individuals clearly tried to make themselves look superior by segmenting oil from gas (As HTOG mostly produces gas). But speculators don't really segment, they buy and sell based upon market.
I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. That is HTOG stock can go down based upon the price of oil going down (Last week Friday it was down $20 over a 2-3 week period).
Yes; another reason is profit taking.
I don't know why the filing wasn't done. But as an accountant (when I was in public accounting), We couldn't file on time once also because we couldn't get all the information from other endencies by the due date. Maybe their accountants are having the same problems. It will eventually be filed. Keep on the look out for it.
Maybe Bruce was carjacked or should I say oiljacked.
Try the fact that when the price went up, people started to use mass transit more. Here in NYC alone, the MTA announced a 7% increase in ridership since January 2008. So when you think that 3.5 million people use MTA everyday times 7% about 1/4 million people not using their car. Meaning less oil used. Use this average to the country and you'll get about 2 million BBLs per day. Meaning less demand for oil which brings price per BBLs down. This will eventually get back to income to companies, less income means lower price of stock!
Price of oil is going down, what did you think would happen?
As they say in the song The Limbo - "How Low Can We Go?"
ok I'll give Jack a call early next week. I'll let you know what he says.
Looks like those shareholder lost their money, is this what's in store for PPTL?
Thank you Turn Around, I'll try and call this JAck guy by end of week and let every one know what I'll find out (If not next week).
However Turn Around, I do have two questions for you.
1) Why am I not able to save or copy and save?, what you attached.
2) Why does the attachement shown look alot like (95%) part of the "Free and Accepted Masons" monthly filing report to the States Grand Lodge (I should know, not only am I a Free Mason, but I'm a Secretary of a Blue Lodge).
Other people are claiming what you found is a lie, while others claim that Jack is a liar.
I'm not accusing you of lieing, but before I make a fool of myself with Jack, How did you find this site? and Why did you look it up?
