Looks to me like the bears are in panic mode - they know Quasar now has a competent leader that has the ability to execute a solid business plan. That competes with their agenda to spread fud. Looking forward to NRs of substance as Jeff's plan comes to fruition.
Makamai
Aloha CAT now of "Cat House" fame - very catchy so to speak
Well seems like a lot to do about nothing on the Q board today. Jeff is CEO and Joshua Henderson is COO - am I missing something here? Looking forward to the next NR - I suspect it will finally be one of substance.
Makamai
Didn't say that we'd only recoup our losses, however that in itself would be an indicator of increased shareholder value and I'm willing to take things one step at a time...
Makamai
Right now Jeff is focusing on restoring shareholder value. "We have a plan that is workable and will continue to move forward... Quasar's management is working to earn the trust of our shareholders"
I'm sure Dean is on his list of priorities, but nowhere near the top. Jeff's top priority is financing and creating a viable company. That's the only way shareholders will recoup their losses and hopefully come out of this with some gains. Sounds like we should be getting and update late next week or early the next with bit more meat to it. This update, as promised, lets us know that there is reason to be hopeful that he has a plan that will succeed.
Makamai
Jeff promised us an update in 1 to 1/2 weeks and was true to his word. Looks like he has a plan and seems very confident that he can move the company forward and save our investments. You da man Jeff...
Makamai
Aloha Cat et al...just found this board and it feels like a breath of fresh air. Hope it stays that way...
Makamai
I'll confirm that Cat - I checked earlier last week the Sole of Africa site sitll referred you to the old Quasar site. Now that reference has been removed. Definitely looks like good things are happening where MS & Quasar are concerned. I would expect a NR in the near future to clarify.
Makamai
The link under Patrons that refers to Quasar tries to go to the old website which doesn't work at the moment. However I suspect that will change in the not too distant future when the new website is functional.
Makamai
If there ever were any issues that would possibly raise an eyebrow where the SEC/FBI is concerned, the company remedied them by ousting Dean. That would be the only COA the SEC would be concerned about.
Makamai
Lets hope Cat that WAZZUP is finally something good and we'll be hearing about it soon. Would rather get an NR next week, however, than after hours today....as that's normally when bad news is dumped on the market.
Makamai
This is only a shell with no value unless the present owner sells it or finds a business to take public with it.
Makamai
Looking forward to the explosion Tom - been quite a while since I had a winner....
Makamai
Jeff is getting it done. This is awesome - IMO this opens the door for funding to take place WITH NO PREFERREDS ISSUED!! I guess Dean couldn't produce them because they were never BOD authorized. Definitely made my week!!
Makamai
There is a lot of truth to the saying that "many heads are better than one"...IOW "The Team"....also known as a "The Think Tank"...
Makamai
So in your estimation, when will the right end of the chart look like the left end of the chart? Then we'll have something to really talk about
Makamai
Had all the consolidation in the low .30's we need - time for the next run...
Makamai
Got my support on that one Cat
Makamai
Nice Hamma & nice close at HOD.

Picked up a few shares last week...

Tom - the "teams" work on behalf of the shareholders is exemplary. All owe each of those involved a big debt of gratitude for their selfless efforts. Hopefully we'll have a chance to express our apperciation in person at the first AGM, once rescheduled. When all is said and done, it's not what you have done for yourself that really counts in life, it's what you have been able to do for others that earns the greatest rewards.
Mahalo,
Makamai
I couldn't agree with you more Scotch - Jeff is putting his life on hold for QASP shareholders and we are all deeply indebted to him for this selfless act on our behalf...
Makamai
Your too easy to please - I can definitely do better than that
Makamai
Appreciate all your past support BIG TIME...
Makamai
Cat - good to see you posting again - we might just have a winner here yet
Makamai
From what I've heard, Kendrick liked Dean as a person, but not as a businessman. IMO MineSeeker is committed to Quasar, not Dean...
Makamai
I couldn't agree with you more Surf - we dodged a major bullet but now it would appear we are back on the road to recovery. The potential has always been here - just needed the right team to get us to the finish line. Where Jeff Landreth goes, it would certainly appear that he is still onboard if he is to be one of the keepers of the trust fund key where Dean's preferreds are concerned. The past is past - looking forward to the future..
Makamai
Scotch - IMO you are absolutely right about certain poster/posters that sold shares going into this battle - if that isn't trading with inside information, I don't know what is. If these folks action cause this company to fold, I'll be supporting your actions all the way... I hope I'm wrong, but what boggles my mind is that it would appear that funding could resolve these issues, yet IMO "The Team" is impeding its progress for what appears to be no other reason than not wanting Dean to take credit for it.....they forget that this is a public company and their actions and allegiance should be to enhance and protect shareholder value. Someone needs to remind all involved parties of their fiduciary duty and set egos aside.
Makamai
It's obvious to me that although Marty may have issues with Dean, he also does not have clean hands here or there would be no reason for the last August agreement he referrd to in his post. So who are we to believe?? All this bickering should have been done professionally behind closed doors and not spilled out onto a public forum IMO. It certainly hasn't been in the shareholders best interests as evidenced by the present share price.
Makamai
Absolutely bang on the money Surf...
Makamai
Surf - there are a lot of good people trying to make things happen in Quasarville - hope they make some progress this week and disclose some of the fruits of their labor. Still hanging in there by a thread...
Makamai
I'm totally in your camp Alchemist, and don't post much for the same reasons. Too many posters on this board spread nothing but FUD, and have their own personal adgendas. IMO the company has refocused itself of late, and is getting on with the business at hand and job #1 is getting financing. The company has unreal potential as long they stay committed to the business plan, and leave ego's at the front door before entering. There are a lot of talented folks involved with Quasar, and I'm counting on them doing an effective job of bringing value to the company and ultimately to the stockholders. That was my initial reason for investing with this company and with the latest additions of Jeff Landreth and Gene Johnson, that talent pool has gotten even better. I'm looking forward to much better days ahead...
Makamai
JR - glad to see cooler heads prevailing, with ego's being set aside and a renewed company focus on restoring shareholder value and confidence. I know there have been a lot of good people working hard behind the scenes to make that happen. I am not alone in my appreciation for all who got involved and I'm confident once again that great things are in store for the company and ultimately its shareholders. Looking forward to the coming weeks ahead.
Makamai
Scotch - Hey have a great long weekend - we deserve it. Need to rest up so we are prepared for another exciting episode in the life of building a conglomerate next week...lets hope the major drama is out of the way and that bigger and better things are in store for Quasar. September is the month - 9/10 would be just fine with me but I'd be satisfied with any date this month since I've been hanging around since July of 09.
Makamai
Cat - I hope you know what you have gotten yourself into. They shoot the messenger around here
Makamai
Verity - although your intentions may have been admirable, if you ever had or currently have inside information regarding the company, you have put yourself at risk as well as potentially jeoparodizing all shareholders in posting on a public board. All that has gone down should have been done behind closed doors. IMO your prior post was totally unprofessional and had "ego" written all over it. I trust all have learned from this experience and that integrity along with a professional atmosphere WRT Quasar operations can be restored, giving shareholders confidence once again in company management.
Makamai
I totally agree CAT - keep the boardroom stuff in the boardroom. At this point, Verity's loose cannon antics could turn around and kick us all in the okole Dean or no Dean...
Makamai
Jr - Kick back and relax. Everyone has to unwind every now and then to stay sane. Enjoy your vacation...
Makamai
Everything is subject to change at any time, and sometimes at the right time.
Makamai
I wonder how many will die of shock after all that's transpired when that happens
Makamai
IMO, getting on a major exchange would be the ONLY reason for a R/S if required to qualify (wouldn't be a requirement for a NYSE listing as they have no minimum SP requirement). Once on a major exchange, the present O/S level would be acceptable to maintain a reasonable float, especially since major institutions will buy in. If an R/S is utilized to qualify for a major exchange, once the SP rose somewhat, a F/S returning us to present O/S would make sense IMO.
