$DDD thoughts
I've never previously bought into the frequent buyout rumors about DDD that surface every few months or so.
But I think this time, if there is a rumor, I'd give it more credibility given the current market cap of DDD.
Nice article on HP and potential for DDD and SSYS buyouts here that makes a lot of sense:
http://3dprint.com/91305/hp-3d-systems-stratasys/
So I'm in DDD here (again) with (another) mental stop loss.
Consider this- a close above $13.85 today would mean DDD actually traded UP during the worst month in a long time for the market.
(DDD closed at $13.85 on July 30)
nice pickups carp and joe
Was also on vacation and don't watch this one daily so missed the cheap shares. Tried last 3 days to pick up more at .11 and even .115 when market was selling off with no luck. Even though the stock traded there, I never got my order filled. Damn Interactive Brokers...
Anyway, probably have some time left before things really heat up with Sysmex in the fall...so hope to catch more before then and have a bid in now at lower prices to catch some cheap shares in case someone else gets impatient.
Cheers,

Looking back at Q1 and Q2 results and conference calls, management stated weaker gun sales were a major driver of revenue...so good to read that gun sales were apparently strong this summer (record numbers):
http://money.cnn.com/2015/07/07/news/gun-sales/index.html
I really like stock here once again- but as always, I have a stop loss in place in case I'm wrong!
Started another ARCW position in yesterday's carnage
I hope to visit company again (they're about an hour from me) and compare expanded metal 3D printing capabilities added to meet demand that they discuss here to how things looked a year ago when I was there.

I'm re-entering here in $3.20s
Brutal day in market... but most 3D printing stocks up today.
Bottom signal maybe?
Thanks-
I see 10-Q is out.
Still looks great with all the deferred revenue from Sysmex- plus Sysmex deal language still in the discussion section.
I think we'll be hearing more about that in the fall.
Graphene 3D Lab acquisition news
Acquiring Graphene Laboratories, which was cash flow positive with > 1M in revenues in 2014.
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/graphene-3d-lab-inc-acquires-233000573.html
This is great news- Over $1M in revenues (that's more than 2X what ONVO made last year) and cash flow positive acquisition.
Absolutely great news here- over 8,000 customers of Graphene Laboratories now easily accessed by Graphene 3D Lab.
makes so much sense to roll the two entities into one- and the fact that the acquisition is cash flow positive with zero debt is huge.
My guess- this stock has seen the bottom.
yep- still here.
yes, a couple of days of nice volume in last few weeks.
Nice to see. I'll publish an update on my site in the fall. I have always maintained that those of us who are patient(and give the Sysmex deal time to fully develop as it is outlined in the SEC filings), will be very happy down the road. I still believe that- and there could be some more info forthcoming on Sysmex deal this fall- at least that's the general time frame as far as I know it.
Cheers,
Q&A with CEO of Chanticleer Holdings, Mike Pruitt
http://microcapresearch.com/chanticleer-holdings-ceo/
Took a DDD re-starter at average $14.56 today.
Looks like a falling knife here, so probably not the smartest move on my part- we'll see. Tight mental stop in place.
Great news. Hard to believe market cap is just $5M here.
I certainly don't believe a microcap company that engages third party research to gain exposure to a broader group of investors is "sicko"
But it's your investment I guess
$ONVO
I like it here.
Buying back ONVO here for 3 reasons:
1. Crazy cheap given the potential
2. New Buy/Overweight recommendations from Piper Jaffray and Jefferies today
3. Steep discount to recent financing at $4.50/share for $40M raise
Also think the $400M in annual revenue ONVO management cites is entirely possible
Nice news out of $GGG / $GPHBF lately
Doubled production capacity to meet demand for electrically conductive filaments:

and today, enters China/Australia/Japan/Europe markets with distribution agreement
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/graphene-3d-lab-announces-distribution-130000303.html
Wouldn't be surprised to see more JV/partnership/revenue expansion news to come.

I had the pleasure of meeting the CEO and COO and these guys are not only brilliant (COO was Russian chess champion as a teenager incidentally), they're among the first to enter R&D of graphene in any capacity, and probably the first to focus on graphene and it's potential in 3D printing.
When they first launched graphene filament production earlier this year they had to quickly expand production capacity. Don't know if you remember, but they sold out of graphene filaments and there was a 4-6 week backlog. I understand they doubled capacity right after that, and now they're doubling again so demand must be strong. I think the revenue numbers in coming quarters will show this company is on to something. Because they also run what I believe is the largest graphene supply source on the Internet (and in the world) with over 7,000 customers at graphenesupermarket.com, they have access to all the high grade graphene they need for filament production. Selling at $55.00/spool retail, I'd imagine the margins are quite high.
Exactly.
I think they'll be more vocal in the fall. Right now, they're being careful to foster their relationship with Sysmex on the COAG technology they're jointly developing, and I believe this is at the request of Sysmex personally.
I'm patient.
"When the price of a stock can be influenced by a "herd" on Wall Street with prices set at the margin by the most emotional person, or the greediest person, or the most depressed person, it is hard to argue that the market always prices rationally. In fact, market prices are frequently nonsensical."

Sold $DDD calls - doubled in 24 hours.
Amazing that the $21 calls were priced as low as .10 at one point yesterday.
I think it underscores the potential here. No guarantees of anything in the market of course, but I like the risk/reward here very much and am planning to hang on to this for longer term.
re: 3DPrintInvestor: your thoughts on this please.
Interesting- looks like GGG may be starting some on demand 3D printing from that news release.
Well... I can understand frustration of DDD shareholders. The company has not even given guidance for 2015 yet. That's just not unacceptable in my book.
Interesting volume spike in the $21 6/260 calls today however- so I picked up a few just in case something develops, but not holding my breath- and I seriously doubt the continued GE buyout rumors.

Yes, plan to do an update on MicrocapResearch.com
On vacation starting tomorrow (yea!), so probably in about two weeks.

Nice.
Can't say enough about how much I like what this company is doing, their institutional investors, etc. So many much less promising pharmas trading at much higher market caps that I believe it's a matter of "when", not "if", the stock starts to move back up.
OK- here's how to get MIDS report.
On the site it now says:
To obtain a copy of the above report (redacted) please email directly:
tom.barr@bioamd.com
----------------------------------------
Apparently there are issues with the contact form that they're aware of and working on now- but if you email Tom Barr directly, he'll get it out to you.
I think anyone who is investing in the company now as well as future investors will find the report very informational. I'm not their IR guy or anything- not paid to say this- just think the report is essential reading. It supports why this company could be trading much much higher down the road for those who are patient.
Gary
I'll email company to let them know several people aren't receiving copies of MIDS report yet.
I have a copy- it's very extensive and a great read. Gives current and future investors a really in-depth look at what their technology can do and the market potential for it.
The redacted MIDS report is now available to all by request from here:
http://www.bioamd.com/technology/magnetic-particle-reader
or, more specifically- from the contact page:
http://www.bioamd.com/contact
Agreed. What's also interesting is ATNM doesn't need the $5M. They already had $19M cash on balance sheet and even with Phase II for Iomab-B, they were well-funded thru the rest of this year and into next.
So I think this could be the start of future investments by Dr. Frost, some collaborative agreement to speed R&D, who knows?
What we do know is that ATNM definitely didn't need the funds here, so I think this investment is a precursor to something down the road.
Public version of MIDS report available to investors coming
Was told by management they'll have a link on site soon where investors can ask for a copy of the MIDS report that will be emailed back. Some of the full report apparently contains sensitive information the company doesn't want public (I'm guessing it gives too much detail on technology or partnership potential/partnership talks/etc.)
So- am looking forward to seeing more detail on the market potential for MIDS.
