Lets see, on one hand you have not idea what's going on with this company and your not sure why you keep investing after 5 years, but on the other hand you are absolutely sure Apple will keep liquidmetal from making any money off the car or otherwise.
A fool know all and knows nothing.
Watts, I am glad Lugee Li is coming in to take over. I think we might finally have a chance to see this company turn around.
Steipp on the other hand, should be ashamed of his performance for running this company into the ground and near bankruptcy the last 6 years. He should have never been brought on as CEO. Just didn't have the experience necessary to make this company a success.
With Lugee Li stepping into the drivers seat, what's your prediction for the share price by end of 2016?
Is this company ever going to get a legitimate contract with significant revenue!
Come on Steipp. What are you doing?
You have promised contracts and revenue this year. Where are they?
We are tired of hearing your projections of contracts based on the glorious RFQ's, only to be left for empty.
Realize that investors who support your salary are tired of hearing the same old hype year after year with nothing to show for it.
People who believe in the future of this stock are unwilling to sell their shares on the cheap!
What in the world happened to the CoNextions Medical production order from October 2015?
What! Why in the world would you be "hoping you are wrong". You just told the board you sold off your last shares.
Nope never said it about Visser. And for the most part I have been pessimistic about this company.
The tide is turning for this company. Enjoy watching the caboose!
So long!
You are out just when things are getting interesting:
The first time we are working with a company capable of manufacturing liquidmetal products for bulk commercializations, a new partner with deep pockets! This is a game changer for this company!
64 million dollar cash infusion coming that in itself, gives the company a life line for the next five years at minimum! Additionally, Lugee purchased over 100 million shares at 0.27.
Apple has been experimenting with liquidmetal for many years now, and is ripe for using it in their products. Apple and Liquidmetal team have collaborated together on many patents, and doubt Apple will throw Tom under the bus when it comes time to make revenue from the products. Many ways this can happen.
This is the time to be holding long!
Yep, all longs share the same sentiment, regardless of their entry point!
I believe if the vote passes for the additional shares it will prop the share price up further. Investors might start bidding higher in anticipation of this before the confirmation.
I don't believe the ASHM will bring any new information. Any worthy news will be released via a PR.
This is the first time in a very long time that share prices are actually being pushed incrementally higher without a bunch of hype!
Although most don't trust Steipp, the addition of Lugee, the potential cash flow of another 56 million, and the ability to produce on large scale has brought some stability at this level.
Apple is still not out of the question and could bring in some indirect cash flow. Even if Apple doesn't use liquidmetal until 2017, leaks will begin this year, and could give lqmt a major boost on top of contracts, if contracts materialize.
I am still holding for the long hall.
I don't see the price going anywhere right now.
1. We still haven't heard news of contracts after the last cc' boasting of RFQ's and expected contracts of 12-15.
2. This deal with Lugee is not finalized yet, so we don't officially have the 64 million.
3. There is no Trust in Steipp and management right now.
Most had similar reasoning when Visser came on board and was deeply vested with all his shares. Instead he sold off millions of his shares under .08. Unfortunately we have no guarantee the same won't happen with Li.
The track record of our company has not been one of success. And even Steipps comments on 12-15 contracts this year, based on last years RFQ's seams like empty rhetoric as we are nearing May with nothing to show.
Where are the 10-15 contracts we are suppose to see this year. Was Tom just blowing smoke out of his rear end again.
This guy is a professional spinster, but is clueless about how to run a company successfully.
Better sell it soon before its out the window.
Glad I didn't put any more money in this piece of junk!
Steipp disappoints again after his big speech on 12 - 15 orders for this year.
No one is giving him a pass!
This is the first year we have had a significant manufacturer with money to fill big orders.
Please don't bring up Visser who doesn't have the ability to manufacture his way out of a paper bag, which is why we got rid of him.
Steipp needs to perform ASAP or he should be thrown out into the street and the locks changed on the doors at liquidmetal.
Good look on that one! Apple iPhone news has done nothing for the stock price in years. No one believes the BS anymore!
Yes, it's getting frustrating that we still haven't heard any recent news about contracts and revenue.
If Steipps words at the last cc about 12-15 orders for 2016 turns out to be false propaganda, I will be right there with Watts and others proclaiming Steipp as a wolf in sheeps clothing.
Get this! Everything I say positive about Steipp is tempered by the fact that I still expect him to perform as a CEO and produce the contracts and revenue he talked about in his last cc.
If he doesn't perform he loses credibility again. If he does perform credibility is bolstered.
I believe this deal with Lugee was smart. But if Steipp expects investors to sit around and wait another two months and not release any news of contracts and news he should also expect to see the stock price tumble into single digits again.
As we see here on this board most investors are still very skeptical of Steipps ability to perform and produce. Therefore, this deal with Lugee will need to show positive results in an expedited fashion or any confidence summed up by the deal will be lost in a flash.
In my view Steipp needs to show that the words he spoke about 12-15 significant contracts this year were not just fluff and stuff. This should happen sooner rather than later to bolster investor confidence in him. Otherwise I will be right there with watts negative campaigning again.
Good point. Problem with pre-book critique is that the criticism is often proven wrong over time and makes one look foolish!
Someone has too much free time on their hands!
Good luck to you! Hope all investors who have lost big time get their money back. Not a guarantee in penny land.
Welcome to the game! I hope you make some coin. Day traders like to hang around.
The game is not over! But investors need to get real.
Capitalism, free enterprise gives us the privilege of starting and trying new businesses. It doesn't guarantee success. Many businesses don't succeed whether run by Christians or not.
Steipp has not done anything unethical or wrong. He has done what's needed to keep this company in the game.
When is Steipp going to announce a contract with significant revenue?
We are already in April and have had no further updates on contracts.
I would like to see a display of integrity by our CEO, and actual contracts communicated in a PR to back up his assertions of 12-15 orders this year.
This deal with Li, does not get him off the hook to produce something that makes us significant revenue.
I am skeptical about voting in favor for the deal, if I don't see a real contract soon.
Great points stocks green. Steipp has shown himself to be a prudent leader.
All the talk of Li getting rid of liquidmetal management is nonsense!
Whoever wants to catch this train better get on ASAP, or the wool be stairing at the caboose.
Nope. 90days from the signing of the deal I believe.
Get on the train, this stock is going to fly like a rocket as the bidding war begins!
Anybody thinking this stock is going to .03 is following unicorns and fairies.
Some like to use pottery to determine if something is a crock or not, like the deal with Lugee Li.
See where it gets them.
Totally agree Bob. It will be just a matter of time for abut out. And $1-2 range is within reason!
We have a take over on our hands.
Steipp got tired of waiting on Apple to do something with liquidmetal. Cook has been sitting in his hands for 6 years doing nothing for our company.
I am glad Steipp had the courage to move on, and develop a partnership with a major world manufacturer who has deep pockets.
This is a slap in the face to Apple which is well deserved. Apple will lose their control of liquidmetal in the Asian markets over time to foreign powers.
Go team Steipp!
Lugee can purchase and use Engel machines with his liquidmorphium.
Nothing in the licensing deal with liquidmetal forbidding it!
This will potentially open up more business for Lugee and for Steipp who is now cross licensed to use liquidmorphium.
Lugee can still sell and manufacture CE using his IP, his liquidmorphium, and Engel IM machines. He just can't use the IP shared with Apple and liquidmetal to do it.
The license agreement with liquidmetal and constraints in regard to CE is specific to the CE patents owned and shared by liquidmetal/Apple.
The liquidmetal team have done a fantastic job and deserve what they have received.
Problem is this board has limited knowledge of what team Steipp is doing, but their critiques presume full knowledge.
The fact that Steipp now has different formulas of liquidmetal is a case in point. He was constantly bashed for being to narrow minded and only working with one formula of lqmt.
I have not heard any board members here fess up to there blundered view if Steipp on this one.
The guy is getting paid fairly for the position he is in.
There are some on this board who only bring in negative input regarding the new deal. Much of it cannot be verified or supported with sound data.
I will leave it up to the board to interpret motives!
Some complained on this board that Steipp trapped himself into only one formula of liquidmetal. Now he shares IP with another cheaper formula through EONTEC.
This will open new doors, and Is a case in point that he is a much better leader than what he is portrayed as by some on this board.
Go team Steipp!!
Question is would it be feasible for Apple to go through liquidmetal and liquidmetal to manufacture some parts using Engel machines with Eontecs liquidmorphium formula which is more cost effective and compatible with Engel IM machines. There is nothing prohibiting Apple from doing this. And liquidmetal would certainly make revenue!
Wrong! Cross licensing is with EONTEC. Look it up!
