I was just watching the Weather Channel and they had a segment on Ethanol and how there are approx. 5 - 10 million vehicles on the road now that can take either partial ethanol or full ethanol. They also said that car makers are going to be producing more ethanol ready (FFD) vechicles in 2007. They said it's more readily available than bio-d.
Ouch!
But you also have to remember that he follows thru if it will be delayed. I expect a PR tomorrow on the status of the Call Center. Will see if I'm right!

LOL. Whatever works for you. In 2060, my kids will be around retirement age so they use it for a safer retirement as Social Security will be long gone.
I'm sure your great, great, great grandchild will be happy you did! Not sure though how you set up their account without an SSN?!
By the way, welcome to IHUB as your response to me was your first post.
For me, my JMCP shares are in my kids account so I don't care if they restrict the divi for 5 years. Then I won't take their money if they make some.
I figure a stock like this if they can do it, will help make it better for future generations and that's why I bought these for my kids.
Looks like our future dividend is getting better and better.
I hope we are both right!
I posted this question earlier but does any one know the answer on the 504 that just showed up why there is 1 investor shown for the state of MN and 2 for TX? This is on page 7 and 8 of the pdf.

going-for-it, it seems they are doing that lately. Putting the news on the website first and then later showing it on the wire.
Kindof good for those invested and looking at their website first as it shows they are kindof taking care of investors first with the info. That's my take on it at least.
stevo, not sure reading this as I haven't really read many before but does this show that the shares went to a couple investors in Texas and Minnesota (pg 7 and 8) or is that where they just originate from to sell on the open market?
I hope that..
"Upcoming ATWEC events include the December 15th launch of the national call center and an installation training session with mechanics of a national outlet. More information on these events will follow next week."
is the mechanics for the 1900 Tire Stores that we have been waiting to hear about.
If I was a CEO, I wouldn't PR that I had some bad components and I wouldn't PR that they were fixed. Would you? He did PR that the Manufacturing was "refitted" or something like that so I'm took it that he addressed the issue. That's only my opinion and it's from reading into the PR and knowing there may have been an issue with the boards.
I think the Call Center is big. He isn't a large company and maybe getting overwhelmed trying to handle the orders especially if they are starting to come in from his endeavors. Why else would he set that up prior to the new Year? Now he has something in place to handle it without having to increase his staff.
As for secrecy on where the deals are, I don't know but in what I've seen in the business world, not a lot goes on or gets signed from Thanksgiving to Christmas time as people are taking vacations, etc. Most want to wait until the new budget year that may start for most companies in January.
I would also think that if he had all those bad boards that he wouldn't be setting up a call center to field calls for orders otherwise he would be getting people very angry by placing orders and not being able to fullfill them. If he had some bad components, my guess is he got them fixed by now.

ohgeez, I think everyone is feeling pain in most pennies at this time. Some worse than others. We may not see much relief until the new year and then hopefully we are happy we held them and hopefully not the other way around.
IMO, I think ATWT is trying to build their sales based on latest PR's but this may take longer than we like and we may not seem much of the end result for a while. Per amechi's post, it doesn't seem like we may be seeing much in terms of PR's rest of December but I hope this isn't going to be the case.

That is sad. Kind of covers what he says will be his revenue for next year. There, your ROI is about a year.
Looks like Mobile Awareness will be bringing in some more customers that could potentially be interested in some Atwec products as well.

Their proactive focus on prevention and wellness is a revolutionary approach to reducing employee injuries, illnesses and vehicle accidents in the transportation industry." says Gary Rothstein, president of Mobile Awareness.
The Road and Bus Athlete Interactive Health and Safety Systems consist of Gamebooks with daily health and safety tips, goals, and "motor"vators and include 2 CD's with a roundtable discussion of health and safety issues, stretch card, quarterly survey cards and nutrition guide in the back. Optional training materials and implementation/incentive ideas are also available. Both the Road and Bus Athlete Systems are designed to help drivers make lifestyle changes, prevent absenteeism and driver turnover, leading to improvements in driver morale and company productivity. From the "kickoff" to the "final goal" scored, drivers will become winners in the "game of life".

Occupational Athletics gives us a practical and affordable solution our customers can utilize to run a truly successful safety and wellness program." adds Rothstein.

stevo, don't feel too much better otherwise you won't "contact a few people" to get those answers we all want and more importantly NEED ASAP!
I agree. A steady flow of product requests and manufacturing is better to forecast although I hope Alex has received some sort of idea when policies may be expiring so he can plan mfg capabilities. I was just being silly on having them all expire now. But according to someone posting a while back, I thought they did have a fair amount of product ready to go. Maybe it was from Scooter1's visit or someones visit.
dmondial, I hope all West Bend policies expire soon! That would get sales a moving.
Yeah, I don't remember when we had some good bashers here. That's why the PPS is low. Now they see some good things adding up, one after another, and everything falling in place, and figure they better start stirring up some trouble.
It's good he's here as a basher. That means the stock is going to go up. If we get more over here, then it's going up for sure!
My guess is they did take that long to file it but who knows. The September 12 filing is no where to be seen, correct?
I was also wondering what was in the 504 that was filed on 11/13 as well but can't figure it out. Maybe it's something that has to be ordered as everything costs money these days.
I'm sure a call to Wiley on Monday by you could clear it all up and then we won't wonder anymore.
hardasset, where's this SEC Filing then.

ATWEC Technologies Closes Regulation D Offering
Tuesday September 12, 10:56 am ET
MEMPHIS, TN--(MARKET WIRE)--Sep 12, 2006 -- ATWEC Technologies, Inc. (Other OTC:ATWT.PK - News) announced today that it has closed its Regulation D, Rule 504 offering and is no longer selling shares of its common stock to accredited investors. A Form D will soon be filed with Securities and Exchange Commission, disclosing that the company raised just under $1 million dollars during the past year. The limit to any such offering is $1 million in the trailing twelve months.
nez, No that wasn't me. 40 with 4 little kids. Would like to go back for some more but my wife would kill me leaving her with all of them just to take classes.
LOL. We'll see next week if I'm right and then I can change careers. If I do, you are better snooping out DD on the Internet (even though I'm a computerguy) so I may have to hire you for that kind of investigation.
Thinking about the PR today and last Monday. They said on Monday..
The company will report later in the week on contractual
developments from the annual conference of the National
Association of Pupil Transportation, attended last week by
CEO Alex Wiley.
Today at EOD they mention..
it is in talks with an Illinois and Tennessee Bus Sales
groups to supply it with Kiddie Systems products...
Could it be that they expected the Bus Sales groups to sign this week and that's why the Monday PR statement above, but since they aren't quite there and they wanted to stay true to their word about contractual developments, they waited as long as possible this week and finally put out the PR at the end of today to fullfill what they said Monday.
As we all know, Alex doesn't seem to like to PR anything until it's a done deal so if this is not almost a done deal, I don't think he would have let the cat out yet. To me, I see this as pretty much a done deal and hopefully next week we see the final result with some more forecasted $$'s.
Thanks Steveo. Didn't know that was the one.
Are we still without the commercial that was supposed to be ready. Has anyone seen or heard anything yet?
My thoughts exactly. My guess is also big contract news out after the bell but that's just my opinion.
TAKI, Stevo posted that the other day. From what I understand that was from the 504 that was mentioned a few months ago.
But, how do you read this thing? It doesn't tell how many shares were sold or how much they received. Can someone explain this better or tell me how to read?
Thanks.
fp80, Now the link is working if you haven't tried again. Keep in mind for those that look to make sure that your system is not blocking pop-ups as the video is brought up as a pop-up window. Got me for a second on that one.
That's what I thought as well. Not much could hurt us anymore at this point! Somethings gotta help.
I like the news. Since Atwec doesn't have a large staff, this will help them get orders out correctly and on time. I do hope however that they aren't any language barriers for those placing orders though.
Grow up.
Side note on Bus safety.....
Here's a segment on school bus safety that aired this weekend on our local station regardings seat belts/shoulder belts for kids. Maybe this is something Atwec should look into as well. Someone in the news mentioned that it would be hard for the bus driver to unlock the kids if needed but why not just have a switch by the bus driver to unlock all of them at one time if there is an issue. Wouldn't take much I would assume electronically but I'm not an engineer.

School Bus Injuries Send 17,000 To ER Annually
Crashes Account For Less Than 50 Percent Of Injuries
POSTED: 8:41 am EST November 6, 2006
CHICAGO -- New national data show school bus-related accidents send 17,000 U.S. children to emergency rooms each year, more than double the number in previous estimates that only included crashes.
Nearly one-fourth of the accidents occur when children are boarding or leaving school buses, while crashes account for 42 percent, the new research shows.
Slips and falls on buses, getting jostled when buses stop or turn suddenly, and injuries from roughhousing are among other ways kids get hurt on school buses, the data found.
Injuries range from cuts and sprains to broken bones, but most are not life-threatening and don't require hospitalization. And while the numbers are higher than previously reported, they represent a small fraction of the 23.5 million children who travel on school buses nationwide each year, the researchers said.
The researchers said the results provide a strong argument for requiring safety belts on school buses, something industry groups say is unnecessary and is more than many school districts can afford.
Safety belts, particularly lap-shoulder belts "could not only prevent injuries related to crashes," they could also keep kids seated "so they're not falling out of their seats when buses make normal turns or brake," said lead author Jennifer McGeehan, a researcher at Columbus Children's Hospital's Center for Injury Research and Policy in Columbus, Ohio.
"Our study shows that there needs to be continued vigilance on school bus safety," McGeehan said.
The study appears in November's Pediatrics, being released Monday.
The research, involving nonfatal injuries treated in emergency rooms, is based on 2001-2003 data from a surveillance system operated by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. Some 51,100 children up to age 19 were injured during the study period, or about 17,000 annually, the researchers said.
Data from the government's National Highway Traffic Safety Administration through 2005 show that about 8,000 children are injured each year in school bus crashes but on average fewer than nine are killed -- numbers that have remained stable for the last decade or so, the agency said. The tally is based on police reports, and not all injuries resulted in emergency room treatment.
In a 2002 report to Congress, NHTSA recommended against lap-only belts in school buses because they can be risky, especially in small children, by restraining them high on the abdomen, potentially causing internal injury in a crash.
Five states -- California, Florida, Louisiana, New Jersey and New York -- and some districts have implemented varying safety belt requirements for school buses, according to the National Coalition for School Bus Safety, a nonprofit advocacy group.
"It's an expensive proposition to outfit school buses with lap-shoulder belts, not just because of the cost of the equipment but because it also reduces seating capacity," said Robin Leeds of the National School Transportation Association, an industry group that represents school bus companies.
She said school buses are the safest way for kids to get to school, with or without safety belts.
The American Academy of Pediatrics advocates having lap-shoulder belts on all new school buses and supports having adult monitors on buses, too, said Dr. Barbara Frankowski, a Vermont pediatrician and chair of academy's council on school health.
However, Frankowski added, "it's kind of unfair to say each individual district has to suck up the cost."
