Eric said the news was already leaked by the Canadian co. Red bear. So he put out the FB update.
I just talked to EP, it's all true. will be on newswire today !!!
Am I reading the-numbers.com correct for Aug 9th Twelve, is not in the top 35 so it made less than $2,500 for Monday. Less than 10 bucks per screen?
Stockman we have rules here. Where did you see Twelve, what time and how many others were in the theater? Thanks
Did you enjoy the show, or were you too upset about the attendance.
Looks like Friday night was all around slow at the box office.

The point I was trying to make was why do we have 11AM showings and not 11:30PM showings. And not just for Twelve but all movies. I'm sure a study was done and found 11AM more profitable than the late show. I've never seen a show before noon.
I agree 100% who goes to a movie at 11AM, in the Cleveland area Twelve is in two theaters (should be in more, 2.5 million metro area) the late showing is 9:45PM. should have one later show.
all I can do today is 5K shares.
Hey SquareMeatball, I loved Conneaut Lake Park when I was younger. Donate some of your future TDGI profit and help get the Blue Streak up and running again.
Someone is working overtime trying to keep this below .05
Anyone remember the 1979 film The Warriors ? Can we compare it to Twelve ? Warriors was released in 550 or so theaters, did like 3.5M first weekend and 22.5M total. I was 15 years old, used my brother ID to purchase my ticket and I loved the movie, well I was 15. I bet very few out of my demographic though much of that movie, but it did very well on a limited release. Think if Twelve could do the same.
Nothing in Cleveland area yet.
I agree visibility is a problem. I just googled Hannover House, pretending I know nothing about this company at all. Finding the Hannover House web site is not hard, but having to use the tab "about us" to find stock info is a little harder. selecting company info is no help in finding stock info. You need to select Target Development Group. My point is, if your looking for Hannover House stock info why would you select Target development group ? nobody knows us as Target development group.
I asked Eric some questions about the HH Youtube titles, this is what he sent me.
Hi Gary -- actually, the YouTube titles are just one of about 75 outlets that we'll be opening up in the next few weeks for "the smaller" Hannover House titles. The "bigger" theatrical titles will be going out through a major new venture with 20th Century Fox. So we'll pursue VOD (and all other applicable revenue streams) via parallel paths: smaller, more "direct to video" level pictures will be self distributed on video and V.O.D., whereas major theatrical releases will be handled through our new venture with Fox. It's all good, amazingly good, actually. And it's the beginning of a series of significant new announcements. Best Regards, ERIC PARKINSON
Why would you want to skew the results ? I would rather see what the true desire is.
Choppers, I want Racing Dreams to play at the Cedar Lee Theater. Sit back with a beer in the A/C watch a movie and help out HH.
It's good about twelve's expanded opening, HTYMP not too bad, but it will be delayed.
that was TDGI circa JUN-Jul, 2009. Stock ran from trip zero to .05
RYLAWI, Eric copied you on a email sent to me SUN 7/25 2:23pm Re: Twelve and HTYMP are you going to post for the board. Your in charge it's your call.
The secret of Kells has out done Racing Dreams by 10 X 1
We (Hannover house) also had a deal with The Secret of Kells, I think Eric said something like $100,000 was placed in escrow. My point is, it's always something.
Anyone buying the 2's next week?
Well I guess this is par for the course. would have never guessed that. How many screens is Twelve opening on ? I know it will open, but how many over 250. My guess Zero.....
Oh, and my dog ate my homework...
My problem is, RD probably, don't know for sure but probably made money at the 1 theater in NYC so why is it only being shown at 1 instead of 6 in LA. Twelve was being released to 250 ? Is it ? that number is weeks old now. Things change, could be 450-500 right, so why not 100-200 ? Call the company, the only person than gives me a warm and fuzzy felling is Eric, the others do nothing but make me wonder. Guess i should stop calling. not personally attacking you either.
well how about coming soon.
Thanks, but looking for Twelve.
Can someone direct me to one theater web site or link that shows twelve opening on Aug 6th. I'm sure it is, I just can't find one. Again I'm very long this stock but after talking to the know nothing that answers the phone at HH and Fred telling me he thinks Racing Dreams is playing at Three theaters in LA this weekend. Well I'm not sure of anything anymore. Susan was not in, Eric was in NY, I just don't know any more.
When did this change to ONE LA area theater ?
4 What are the current plans/timeline for Racing Dreams?
Answer: Well, it would be inaccurate to characterize the initial launch of "Racing Dreams" to multiplexes as any form of success. It was not. We focused in on "NASCAR-friendly" markets in the S.E., had heavy support from NASCAR and the racing industry media, had great P.R., great reviews, lots of trailer and poster visibility and heavy newspaper ad support. We spent about $200,000 total to gross an initial weekend of around $20k, which is pretty bad math, in my humble opinion. So we've "regrouped" and refocused the campaign. Next weekend, we open at the IFC Theater in New York City, focusing to an audience that's "documentary friendly" or keen in independent cinema. We think this has a greater likelihood of success than mainstream multiplexes. We're opening July 23 in six theaters in Los Angeles (all "art-or-doc" friendly locations), and have a slate of dates lined up through Landmark calendar houses and digital locations. We decided to cancel the 100+ theater expansion opportunity through ScreenVision as all of the ScreenVision locations are all multiplexes, and we felt that booking the film and doing little business would hurt Hannover's reputation with these key theater chains (we've transferred our ScreenVision support programs to enhance "Twelve" instead). We think there's still a reasonable goal of 100-total locations for "Racing Dreams" by September.
This is from Yahoo, Does this look funny to anyone ?

I thought Racing Dreams was going to be showing in 6 LA area theaters. The only one I can find is Laemmle's Sunset 5.
Thanks, thats good to know. I can use it.
Let me try to do the math, I'm not good at this.
friday 3,000 per theater X 250 = 750,000
saturday same thing X 250 = 750,000
sunday not so good 1500 X 250 = 375,000
________
weekend take = 1,875,000
Don't know if I'm buying cheap shares or not, but I'm buying.
What, no news yet !!!
I don't know how to provide a link. But go to box office mojo, select genres then select documentary. this give top 600 or so.
Racing dreams brings in a little more cash, now has a gross of $63,052 and makes it the 361st highest grossing documentary of all time.
Racing Dreams will never make us rich, but it did bring a liitle more at the box office. As of 7-15-10 $59,692 makes it the 367th highest grossing documentary of all time.
look at post 35518
I have had Sensored in my Netflix queue for months, no release date is available yet. Wonder how it works with Netflix, do they buy hundreds or thousands of copies of a movie ? Do they pay the distributor per view ? got no idea.
