lots of games going on with this one today.
I had a limit order in for a lot of the day to buy at .0042 and all those other orders bypassed it.
I actually checked it earlier on my phone and when I saw the graph represent trades at .004 I was happy. Then when I looked later, no shares.
I must say I am honestly surprised this has held above .002. I know that is the dilution basepoint, but I did expect it to at least dip below it sometimes.
Was there confirmation yet on whether or not the sizzlin saturday was in fact cancelled?
Any sniff of NFL news yet?
I do think if this thing ever drops below that .002 line it is a great temporary play, I just dont have the guts to throw more than a grand or so at it. I do figure they have one or two more pops from news before people are very weary of the CEO and cant be won over anymore.
I would say it is more likely to be one of the wolves in sheep's clothing around here.
ignore the shennanigans guys. These people arent even good bashers. I am open to valid discussion, but throwing around blatant lies is ridiculous.
he is posting on Y! also. His post there at least makes some sense. It isnt a bad thing to set the expectation that tomorrow isnt the big news day. Likely wednesday of next week.
JD just called me back. Was quite surprised. Said he isnt out of the country yet, but would be leaving in just a bit. Wanted to return a few calls.
No answers on funding the acquisition. I didnt expect any, but cant hurt to ask.
My favorite part of the conversation was when he told me to use stock message boards for entertainment purposes only. Said "two weeks ago I was dying of cancer and today our stock is going to .25 for sure."
gave me a chuckle.
i didnt even think they were open yet
they could easily fund this acquisition with their credit line.
This company is probably a private company. It is probably toast. They probably have debt coming out of their ears. Those creditors probably realize that they have no chance to get their money from the current company.
EXPH comes in and says hey, we want this company and we are willing to assume a percentage of their debt. Some money is better than no money. They negotiate with the creditors for settlements of all the debt and then EXPH acquires the assets, any accounts receivable, etc.
If their credit line is asset based they can add these things to their asset list and none of the assumed debt gets added.
So if they are going to acquire 100,000 in AR, Inventory, etc then they can now be added and voila, acquisition.
The old company can sometimes just be so happy to walk away without a mountain of debt that they dont even get any money.
third that.
JD is out of the country for a week...fyi to all. I just called.
when you have so many green days in a row you are going to get noticed! Then when those people read more and see that we are undervalued, they will hop in too.
how can this board not be hopping?
i dont think we have a conflict of interest. He just has newer information.
good to hear. when I asked him if they would be having a CC a few days ago, he didnt really have an answer.
please post if you get a call back. I left a message too.
a couple questions...and maybe you didnt ask these of JD, so you might not be able to answer.
Is the 1% restriction something the company put in as terms or is he referring to an SEC rule?
Did you by any chance ask how many shares JD himself owns currently?
the only way the TA doesnt know the number of restricted shares is if the company didnt inform them or if the TA didnt record it properly.
Both are certainly possible here.
well then that is not agreeing with me. I dont think he has been selling.
what from last nights conversation would cause anybody to sell?
Why is everybody so defensive about the float? Its not like it is some super secret formula. If a share can not be sold, I am pretty sure that the stock transfer company needs to have that info.
Subtract restricted from O/S and you have the float.
Which doesnt really matter. Do people think Karl Malone is going to dump all his shares now? After all this time? The CEO?
Are people worried that the big sellers are some of these insiders? Who cares. If they are some insiders who want to sell a bunch of shares they acquired in the triple zeros because they want to put in a pool at their house right now, big deal. That just means somebody else has them now and can put in a hot tub in a year. I have never understood why people get so caught up in insiders moving shares here and there. A stock is only worth money once you sell it. Otheriwse it just sits there. Who am I to tell somebody they cant spend their money? I hope we all get hot tubs and pools and cars and all sorts of toys. We don't all need to get them the same day.
All I am saying and have been saying is that discussing facts on this board is a good thing. It is always a good thing. NO MATTER WHAT it is a good thing. Whether you like or dislike the information.
The fact here is the TA said on at least 3 occasions yesterday that the float is 930million. They are fully capable of determining it and that is what they claim to be.
Now it is certainly possible that information has not been given to the TA. It is possible that the company put restrictions on some shares and never informed the TA.
It is possible that JD considers these shares restricted because he knows the people and knows they arent going to sell. So he pretty much just views it that way.
Why is there any harm in discussing any of these possibilities?
If people bought into this company only because they thought the float was 100-200 million they may like to hear or be a part of this discussion. That is a pretty stupid reason to buy, but hey it is their money and this information should not be stonewalled. When the regulars on this board clamp down on any new information that isnt in the list of standard talking points it is a disservice IMO.
To try to say that these posters dont own shares is just a random stupid theory. Anybody who is on this board right now has a chance to buy in at a stabilized low spot. To make the claim that any poster is just mad because the missed out is ridiculous. They have had three weeks to evaluate and get in for around .0135 any day they wanted.
The A/S and O/S numbers are all I care about. In fact the more I think about it the A/S is really all I care about. If JD needs to give out some bonuses using the 18 million shares left it wont bother me at all. My girlfriend just cashed in a nice stock bonus for her company. She gets another one a year from now and has obvious incentive to stay loyal to the company now.
If I see the A/S go up, then I will be nervous, which is why I will keep checking on it.
the board meeting is key. I look forward to hearing what they are going to do.
I just really wish all the talk of a buyback would cool down a bit. I think this company can do some better things with their cash right now. I also think they kinda missed the window on the buyback. They can only get half as many shares back now. I would rather they just grow the business until it gets to a point that they want to uplist.
These companies almost never uplist, yet most of them talk about it. Lets just do what we are doing and that is make money and grow!
this is not true. That is the O/S share count on June 30. The O/S today is about 4.2 billion.
It has gone the opposite direction. As I have been saying, no buyback so far.
thanks to whoever updated the ibox.
Why do people think Karl Malone's shares are restricted?
They will. They just are a bit looney over there and you have to be persistent. The A/S is 1 Billion. O/S is 980million and the float is 930 million.
The float number is the only thing that is drastically different than what many had expected.
As I said before, I dont really care about it because I knew the float was nowhere near 100-200 million.
Also before people jump to the immediate defense of JD and think I am bashing him, he honestly could have in his own mind been telling the truth. Even though some of the "insiders" shares are technically part of the float, he probably considers them locked up tighter than a drum, which is exactly what he relayed to my friend during a conversation. I think that he might be right about a lot of them, but it has to be awfully tempting for some of them to take some massive gains off the table (who can blame them).
I think that has been happening. Which is fine. It gets some newer shareholders in there with a higher cost basis.
I agree TAKI said his was below the bid.
The TA said NO trades went through below the bid.
Those statements cant coexist. How did I twist that?
So are you saying that the trades that we see (I see them on ameritrade too) are not accurate?
That TA is hardly a reliable source. Maria tells me she cant give me the A/S count but she can give me the float. Then the dude tells me he cant give me the float but he can give me the A/S?
Then when I say Maria gave me the float before already, he says oh yeah, I told her she could.
i cant even imagine the explosion we would see if they announced all of that at once. Hahaha. It would be crazy.
it doesnt. 980 is bigger than 930
should update the O/S too, not that there is much of a change there.
i am sure many here will say that isnt true.
I dont really care because I knew 100-200 million was ridiculous when we have seen like 50 million shares traded below the bid in the last couple weeks. Heck just adding up the number of shares people talk about having on this board makes that number ridiculous.
it is in fact over 900 million.
Float number confirmed. Weird system they have over there, but it is confirmed.
well he is telling the truth that Maria is in fact giving out float numbers.
She also yet again repeated to me that she CAN NOT give out the A/S. I said well you told me the same thing the other day and the somebody else called and got the A/S, so are you sure you have current information?
She said yes, it is current.
I am calling back in a few minutes.
the MM's have a lot to gain by coiling this spring and keeping the price down. These MM's make a killing on days when there are massive volume spikes and all sorts of buying pressure. They know big news is on the way so they keep it down and wait.
When the news comes they will make crazy money. They will be able to take positions on the way up from sellers and sell them to buyers for a continuous spike for a longer time if the spring is coiled.
It is probably some of the only times that an MM actually likes holding a position.
if it is a build your own on demand order system then definitely wouldnt store it all. You would really need a lot though even if it was design your own, because you would have to carry all of the options.
lets focus on turning it into 8K first, lol
i asked this before and didnt get an answer...
Did any of the guys who were at the CC see any big ole piles of wood?
There would have to be massive amounts of wood for it to be some of the things being thrown around as guesses.
4's up for IFSL
looks like the first trade today was up pretty high, but the gap was filled down after and we are heading upward now.
