Holy moly .... 1.4MM for a 5 page report ... and probably a first class ticket to and from China to boot.
Now that's a job I could handle.
The sky is falling, the sky is falling! Actually what I think JoeC really means is that the radiation from Japan has irradiated all of the bio-diesel, melted all the precious metals and eradicated all chance of profit by RAPT! It must be true based on all of the corroborating evidence contained in Joe's last post.
Thanks for the latest in a never ending string of unsubstantiated hot air and wasted electrons.
Sorry guys, could not resist. But I still ain't arguing with him. Let him dither. People follow his posts only out of idle curiosity.
Thanks for setting me straight. I had believed that reported financials could either be audited or unaudited. Thus I added 2 and 2 and got 6!
Yes, I know they released that the audit was delayed but no time frame was given. Figured no harm in asking and also wanted to see if their email addresses were working. Last time I tried the address I got an undeliverable.
Was pleased when I got an almost immediate read receipt from Todd Jones.
I am assuming the audit is a necessary prelude to the 10Q.
I just sent an info request to RAPT Corp Hqs asking when we might expect to see 10K/10Q.
Got a "read" receipt from Todd Jones so I know he got my email.
We shall see.
Thought I read somewhere in one of the PRs that RAPT had switched to a 1 Jan - 31 Dec financial year.
Clearly these are fabricated numbers that have no basis in fact.
Is this pump currently taking place? Haven't seen squat about it. And if it is, it is clearly a failure.
Or is the possibly something in the past? I have only been watching this sucker since around mid Feb in the midst of a pump that that got it up to low .80s for a brief moment, then downhill.
After the fall a lot of posters started looking at this as a longer term stock given what appears to be a decent business model with the biodiesel stuff and hopefully mineral recovery. Hope this ain't all yet another fairy tale.
Seems the financial audit still not completed. The rest of the PR is fluff.
At least they made some sort of announcement.
Yet another succinct, insightful and totally useless post.
Is this one of our friendly promotion companies?
We are of one mind.
I generally ignore those who cry "THE SHORTS ARE COVERING". May be true but I am from Missouri (when I want to be ... SHOW ME). If they can't show me I don't put much credence in it. Plus, even if true, nothing I can do about it to begin with.
I agree with your assessment on timing of finances and reports, etc.
Spot on. Sort of like the the "house advantage" enjoyed by casinos. Only difference is the Wall Street mavens don't want you to know exactly all the ways the deck is stacked in their favor.
At this point I have racked WLOC as being an absolute and complete scam. Nothing anyone could say or tell me would change my mind. These shysters touted the wonderfulness of this shell company and took some of my money.
Now they are doing it all over again. I am trying to warn the current group of true believers not to waste their time or money. So far they must think I am out of my mind.
They will learn the hard way.
Greatly appreciate you taking the time to explain your position on this.
Good luck.
Woody,
Got any thoughts as to what might have caused the drop this AM?
I am not a tech analyst and don't know how to read such events in the absence of news.
Thanks.
This appears to clearly be a lot more than a couple of knuckleheads selling. Is this possibly insiders (or someone) dumping big time? Volume increased dramatically to the down side starting around 10:30 AM or so.
I am not a wizard when it comes to analyzing buy/sell action. Can anyone out there comment on this negative trading pattern?
RAPT just fell off the table without any apparent news.
Anyone have a clue?
Thanks Surf. I get Level 2 quotes through Ameritrade now and have noticed the after hours shenanigans. Can't see the individual trades like some can, just the continuing activity in the aggregate,
When I saw the .60 after hours on Thursday, some on the board were alleging that the stock would open at .60 on Friday AM. Of course it did not but as I recall it opened around .50 vice where it had closed at .44. I attribute that to some before market activity Friday AM but cannot be sure of it.
Then there was also after hours activity on Friday as well. Stock seems to have jumped to .52. But as you stated, it will not open at that level on Monday.
Have you been able to determine if these after hours jumps or falls for that matter have any bearing at all on the following day's open? Don't fully understand what all this after and before market action means. Will have to research that.
Regarding RAPT ... what is your take on the NR on Friday evening? Sort of ho hum in my view and self promotion but without any real meat.
RAPT previously reported that next week would be release date of a quarterly financial that, in the company's words, might announce profitability. Keep your eyes open on that one ... certainly some news coming, perhaps even good. This biodiesel stuff is OK, but the real unknown is this supposedly proprietary mineral extraction process they have. Sounds great but is as yet unproven.
Have had great fun watching from the sidelines the SFMI board. Everyone seems to be an expert and is touting huge gains. In your opinion is that just so much hot air?
Thanks for sending me tidbits. Appreciate it.
EboJr
In case you haven't seen this NR. Contains no new information, however.

Raptor Expresses Confidence in the Projected Growth of Its Business Model as Gasoline Prices Rise and Biofuel Demand Continues to Grow
8:16p ET March 11, 2011 (Market Wire)
Raptor Technology Group, Inc. (OTCBB: RAPT), which is in the process of acquiring Raptor Fabrication & Equipment, Inc. ("Raptor"), today commented on the rising cost of gasoline and its impact on biofuel demand and production.
The national average price of a gallon of regular gasoline climbed to $3.503 on Sunday -- nearly 38 cents higher than a month ago and up 15 cents in a week, according to AAA who posts gas prices daily. Oil hit $106 a barrel Monday as escalating violence in Libya seems likely to move the price of crude even higher.
"With the price of gasoline rising with no end in sight, alternative fuel production like biodiesel is more important than ever to reduce our dependence on foreign oil sources and maintain our national security. The patent pending, state of the art facilities we manufacture use waste vegetable oils, yellow grease, organic sludge and oil from non-food crops to produce clean, ASTM certified biodiesel. This fuel burns cleaner and more efficiently than petroleum diesel fuel," said Tom Gleason, President of Raptor. "As the energy industry continues its historic shift toward alternative fuels, biodiesel demand is growing significantly," added Gleason.

Hey, it's your call. Simply telling you that I know for a fact that WLOC, KDKN and TAMO are birds of a feather. All supposedly managed by the same so called executives, analyzed by the same so called 4 star analyst, pumped by the same PR firms, touted to be the next sure thing and, unfortunately doomed to the same end ... taking your money. They took some of mine because I believed the hype and the pump. These stocks basically are distributing hot air. KDKN (father of WLOC) enticed me in and I paid the price. WLOC got another chunk of others net worth a few months ago. These companies have no earnings and are, in my opinion, absolute scams. They basically sit there and do nothing until they are pumped, then they rise and everyone gets greedy for the next dollar and then the dump leaves you high and dry.
I realize you do not have to believe me and that's OK. Just hoping you will take my advice and not lose any more money to these guys. Technical analysis does not work on these pennies and as for fundamental analysis ... well they don't have any revenue or any other fundamentals.
The fact that it has not fallen recently is most certainly not a buy signal. It most certainly is a signal that no pump is currently underway - nothing more. If you are willing to tie up your money hoping the stock will either get you back even (highly unlikely if that's your situation) it will likely be a long wait as in the 12th of never. Or if you have a real low basis pps, ride the next pump, if there is one.
At the end of the day it does not matter to me in the least if you get fleeced. Was just trying to help you avoid it,
IMO.
Good luck.
Imperial Whazoo,
Pretty sure Oscar is on target here but suspect that Heywoody can tell you more. However, haven't seen him up on the board today.
Did you see my post 772? It was my attempt to summarize what I thought I knew.
Good news about the third biofuel plant ... all 3 should be generating revenue soon if not already. However, because all are only just coming online, none of the revenue will be reported on the 10Q which should have an ending date of 31 Dec 10. So, good going forward but nada right now.
If RAPT has nothing else behind the scenes to report revenue wise next week (e.g., other biofuel plants that we don't know about, sales of 300kW generators or, most importantly the mineral recovery initiative), then I suspect the stock will get hammered. On the other hand, if RAPT has revenue streams that have already started and are reported, then that will be a positive story.
It seems to be an issue of timing. I believe RAPT is setting a lot of good things in motion ... but they may not be reportable yet. Plus, I have not seen it written in stone anywhere that the 10Q will definitely be out next week. Have you?
Of course, if you were to believe JoeC, I am the evil dwarf controlling this stock! Fantasy land my friend! I am just a guy trying to make a few bucks in pennies.
Good luck.
P.S. - Been busy at work. Anything happening with HPGS? Ouch, just looked.
Thanks for coming up on the board. I thought everyone had run for the hills.
What happened? Did everyone who usually posts get swept away by the tsunami?
I agree with your assessment. I am standing pat for now.
Hmmm,
Is it me or is this board out of action?
Amazed there has been nothing at all posted since early this AM.
Imp Whaz,
Thanks for taking the time to respond. I understand what you are staying. I am a long time big board, buy and hold investor just taking his first steps on the OTCBB. Because of my investing background, what you explain about behavior just prior to close is not anything I previously cared about or experienced ... after all, when I am in a stock for the long run I only occasionally even check the numbers. So what you explain is new to me and is quite helpful.
Thanks for your explanation ... very informative.
Thanks Surf. Appreciate the insight and time you have spent helping me.
Greatly appreciate your support Woody and OSU. I have no idea who this guy is or what he is talking about. But based on one of his posts earlier today, he somehow seems to have concluded that RAPT is a scam and that I am somehow responsible for it. I admit I was pessimistic and cautious about RAPT early on but those days are long past.
I plan on making money on RAPT as it starts what I believe will be a period of sustained and steady growth. It greatly helps to follow this board as you and others have far more knowledge of the technologies involved than I do. So I will continue to follow this board but will refrain from responding to JoeC.
Don't like being accused of who knows what by whoever this guy is. Believe he must have added 2 and 2 together and determined the answer was 23! However, if you as board boss think my posts are out of line, please tell me. But I have no intention of getting in any sort of online argument with JoeC.
I also repeat my request to him that he tell all of us who I am really am. I am dying to know what he has cooked up.
Thanks again - EboJr
One more if I might.
Take a look at the after hours action on RAPT. What do you think this is saying about tomorrow? I can't imagine it will open at .60 but I don't know. Even if it does, do you think this might foreshadow a big run tomorrow. Not sure how to read all of this.
Educate me a bit if you would. Understand everything you are saying in your recent posts. However, what is the relationship, if any, between these after hours shenanigans by parties unknown, and tomorrow's open?
Guess I don't really understand what all this means going forward.
Your humble dum dum - EboJr
Surfin,
I did see your private post. Here are the results of my day. Please critique me if you care to.
Ended yesterday with 4500 shares. Hung on to those because I am of the opinion there is some growth potential in RAPT.
Last night I decided to try and buy 10K more as close to open as I could get. Stock opened at .30 and I placed my orders as early as I could. Took about 10 minutes or so for orders for 10K to go through. Basis in the 10K was .34.
Watched the stock jump nicely through late morning. Was thinking that it would perhaps test resistance in low 50s. Never did.
Mistake 1 -- should have taken profit in the .45 to .48 range but did not. Probably my big board experience (I am generally buy and hold there) caused that. Then stock flattened out for much of the afternoon. Sold 5K at .43 and 5K at .44 which was something near 25% up in each. Could have been better but not terrible either.
Question 1 -- in your experience, is late morning the witching hours wherein runs peter out? Of course, the answer is probably it depends on a bunch of factors. Do you advise that I put in a sell order at some set percentage and put it on autopilot?
Toward end of day I tried to sell my 4500 at .45. Never quite got there. I would have been happy to sell that at .45 but I am not unhappy that I still have a small stake in RAPT.
Question 2 -- this was nice positive run. But how do you deal with a down trend when you are losing profit or are going underwater? My broker does not allow stops on OTCBB so I have to keep a close eye on the stock and drop a sell order. Do you set some down percentage (say 15-20%) to keep dry powder for another day?
Realize I am not yet (and may never) placing huge bets at this point in my penny foray.
Really appreciate the time you spend helping this old dum dum out.
Sincerely - EboJr
Thanks Woody. I honestly don't have a clue what this guy is about. He seems to have conjured up some theory that I have a degree of control over this stock. Afraid my modest buys are not a ripple in the pond. Plus as you know, I am still a novice at pennies. He seems to have convinced himself otherwise.
Whatever.
Thanks Surf. Still on a free membership so can't respond to your private. Executing the middle course action as we speak.
Yes, and it appears that they are able to put these plants into operation much quicker than I would have expected. When I hear the word plant I usually think of some major brick, steel and mortar. These appear to be relatively compact and can fit into existing structures like warehouses.
Thanks for your tech view of this. That's way beyond me.
Well, one more in response.
You are completely and totally clueless.
Congratulations! You apparently think you have figured something out about me ... why don't you post your revelation for the world to see. I for one can only assume you have quite an imagination.
Please tell me who you think I am so I will know myself!
P.S. - This will be my last post in response to one of your assumptions.
OK, educate me here.
Based on research I had done on RAPT, yesterday's release was something we had been waiting for. Added to my position at market open today with a basis of .34. Currently at .485. Tidy little 42% gain already today.
Would I be an idiot to keep this for the longer term? Really do believe RAPT has good potential going forward. It was puped last time but this pop is a direct result of sales/revenue going forward. Or should I take a nice profit on run for the hills?
Based on a review of NRs since 1 Jan 11, it appears that RAPT now has placed 3 separate biodiesel plants into operation as follows:
1. Greenwave, 3.6 million gallon annual capacity. NR did not mention amount Greenwave paid for this plant nor was there any mention of revenue sharing.
2. Coastal, 1.0 million gallon annual capacity. As above, no mention of amount Coastal might have paid for this plant but unspecified revenue sharing was mentioned.
3. Eco Ventures, 3.6 million gallon annual capacity. 1.6 mill fee to be paid for plant by Eco Ventures along with 15% of revenue.
This appears to be be a strong start to 2011. However, none of these revenue numbers would have occurred in time to be included in anticipated 10 series reports.
The real unknown to me is what if any revenue might have been produced through end of 2010 that will be reflected in upcoming financial releases.
I also noted that the 300kW generator that Heywoody told us about is now on the RAPT website. No mention of sales of this as of right no.
And of course, the big unknown continues to be details for mineral recovery initiative.
All in all this may be the start of some sustained growth and increasing revenues but probably will not see that reported until mid year reports.
Hey, if anyone disagrees with my memory on this, please advise.
Good luck.
EboJr
I concur. Got to guard against chasing this sucker however. It could move quickly. IMO. Good luck.
This is moving all over the place pre-open. Now the spread is .26-.36.
Things are going to go interesting methinks.
Just noticed that the pre-opening bid/ask spread is huge (.20 -.505) with last at .31.
Looks like it may get expensive to add more this AM.
Am I reading this wrong?
