"orderS" plural?? Same customer (Miltner) with multiple prders or multiple customers??
I would love for it to hit .10-.12 so i can pick some more up.
Past performance predicts future behavior in people and since companies are run by people.........well you get the picture
Watts prediction proably has the strongest legs but either way I'm good. If it goes up great if it goes down great
Is it possible it is being built elsewhere or would there be some type of contract in place for that specific part?
I was under the impression that there agreement was amended which frees LQMT from using Visser?
From what I've seen the diameter of an ingot is about the same as a quarter (if not please advise) so that gives a bit of scale to aid in our critical thinking. The three slanted squareboxes are very familiar to me but i just can't place it.....
I googled the numbers "14315911" this number is the patent application number for an electric vehicle charging component. I am pretty sure that it coincidentally has the same number.
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a charging cable support aim which supports a charging cable for charging an electric vehicle.
I'm not even sure that iam seeing the numbers correct.
I am definitely looking forward to it! I just need a couple more "solid dots" (if they exist) before this takes off to justify purchasing more.
LOL Watts!! I barely survived my last "Out The Window" and my wife reminds about our money going there every so often.
The facts presented from the veterans here have helped ground me and i appreciate that. I will work on my SAMS this weekend.
Have a good weekend everyone!
Thank you for the lesson (really....thank you). I understand your stance on LQMT and appreciate your point of view and the "facts" that give.
I will refer back to my stance which is, had this company been managed appropriately then i would not have the opportunity that i have now as an investor in a Penny Stock and since it is a Penny Stock I hang on to "Forward Statements", Conjecture and "Dot Connecting".
Hauck led an organization that was tageted by and bought out by a very fundamentally sound company (FCX) that made a very bad decision recently when it decided to enter the oil and gas business and now has divested Hauck's prevoius employer because of those bad decisions (my opinion). I am confident that he will make significant contributions to turn around and I hope (there's that word again) it happens soon.
Now I'm just ranting...
My thought on the recent uptick in marketing activities is that maybe there has been a breakthrough that will be announced Tuesday...We shall see.
Great move by them! ANTICIPATION and PREPARATION
Materion:
http://materion.com/Products/Alloys/BulkMetallicGlass.aspx
How long has LQMT product been sold on Materion's website? months, years?
In actuality though, it's probably because they are exhibiting at the BioMed conference and they want that information front and center for website visitors that attend the conf.
Because Materion has been shipping LM105 to Applied...at least I hope (there's that word again) they are!
If it isn't.....Bottle of Wild Turkey
From my perspective the Medical Device angle (beryllium free alloy)seems to be closest and most proprietary that LQMT has to capitalize on, barring any generic beryllium free formulation. Apple has some very talented (at least on paper) scientists in the field of "BMG" which concerns me as it relates to CE, reason being they can prevent LQMT from using our tech but at the same time use their own new formulations cutting us out.
Head is spinning a bit but I'm still bullish on Med Dev
Thx! I'll have to spend more uninterrupted time reading and comprehending this but a quick glance answers my question. Thx
Does LQMT get some type of royalty on the final product?
My assumptions have been that LQMT has a partnership (exclusivity)with Materion to produce THEIR formulation?? I am hoping Watts is stirring the pot by saying GENERIC???
I just don't see him doing that though, so is there an expired patent that allow Materion to produce and sell to non-licensed LQMT manufacturers?
Is it possible that it was purchased for the Symposium to use as demonstration material??
Article from Feb of last year:
RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Liquidmetal® Technologies, Inc. (OTCQB: LQMT), the leading developer of amorphous alloys and composites, announced today that it is making available a new alloy composition which will enable its licensees to manufacture Liquidmetal components that do not contain beryllium. The new alloy composition, Liquidmetal 105 (LM105), will be supplied through Materion Brush Inc. (“Materion”), a Certified Partner of LQMT.
Liquidmetal amorphous alloys have gained widespread commercial interest due to their unparalleled precision, high strength, scratch resistance and elasticity. The availability of LM105 which provides identical performance advantages opens potential new markets where non-beryllium-containing components are preferred. These markets include many medical applications, such as in-body surgical devices.
It appears that Hauck has gone to the back of his closet, pulled out his sales shoes, dusted them off and is in full on sales mode! That other Engel machine is probably getting close to completion??
I like it!!
Created my order this morning, hit review and then chickened out and cancelled....lol
Edit: What i found is that out of hundreds of current employees 1 recent hire has a new job title/department. He could just be a Maverick and got creative with his naming convention. People do it all the time.
I just thought that it was interesting another dot...
I thought that it was interesting that a new hire was the only person in the company that used "Advanced Metals Processing" in their title.
Thank You! They are definately ramping up for a new product release that's for SURE
Heavy bag buddy??
Just did some virtual poking around Applied and found what seems to be a new department "Advanced Metals Processing". Any opinions??
Apple Watch
Is it feasible that Apple could have used Liquidmetal in the watch without anyone sniffing it out and leaking it?
I'm trying to connect some dots here....Isn't this a bad thing for LQMT? A competing technology going to the market first??
Ah ha. Makes sense. Thank you!
Another question: If/when we land a contract with the required volume of let's say an Apple would that require an additional 2-3 Engel machines or a 100 Engel machines?
I'm still learning about the the tech but can you tell me your perspective of its significance?? Meaning the tamper resistant bonding and possible applications. Thx!
Seems the verbiage went from subjective to absolute i.e. Omitting "substantial" seems that the technology has had significant advances??
The timing (pun intended) is very very intriguing
Patent references LQMT, Dendritic Crystals (sapphire glass?) resulting in a hermetic seal (air/water tight). Could be for the iPhone/Apple Watch case???
Something brewing here......
Or....does technology advance and now we are realizing it??
The .01 jump seems relatively small compared to historical Iphone rumors. I seem to remember reading a CIP patent that referenced 7000 aluminum. Is it plausible that the 7 could use LQMT??
Thanks! I'm excited about the potential in the Med Device industry. More so than CE
Tvasile-Based off of your DD is the item a small component of a device or is it the bulk of the device LQMT
Let's say that the company makes a turn for the positive, then the more likely scenario is that Steipp is praised as a genius for bringing Hauck in and then we are stuck with him forever....Watt say you?
