You need a delicate touch and an imbalanced life.
Nice line. So true.
How desperate for just a dent?
Maybe Bob and Matt are getting married?
Uh huh.
I'll do it. I delete everything.
Morning everyone. Here's a couple of tips that might help you derive greater benefit from Ihub.
First - Many of you have premium (grandfathered) memberships. This entitles you to use all of the features and boards. Now I know that we ediggers tend to be a rather inbred bunch but some of us really should try to get out more. Did you know that there are a number of boards here dedicated to non-stock related interests? Click this link for a list - http://www.investorshub.com/boards/boards.asp?cat_id=124 - Included in that list are a couple of music boards, #board-1124 and #board-1654. Go ahead, click on them. What have you got to lose (that you haven't already lost following e.Digital for the last three years)? (Sorry, couldn't resist.)
Second - There have been some updates to the User Agreement that you should probably take time to review. Here's the link - http://www.investorshub.com/boards/complex_terms.asp -
Finally, I had a really bad dream last night. I dreamt EDIG was up $8 at the open and I couldn't get into my brokers web site to put in the sell order. Must have been something I ate.
Have a great Monday.
...so it's not out of the realm of discussion or possibilities.
Yes it is.
...if any one of several of its target markets hit...
That's exactly what I meant. I don't think I disagree with you at all.
Based on the future prospects of the business in hand we're screwed. If something really exciting happens, well, that changes things. Based on past performance I'd say the chances of something really exciting happening are not very good at best.
My gut tells me it ain't gonna happen. My wallet is still hoping for a miracle.
I also think that you are correct on the PPS....a slow death or a roller coaster to the moon..
That's why I picked up 20k more at this level. If we go to the toilet it only costs me a few thousand bucks more. If we go to the moon or even just to the top of my house, I could easily make back the whole load in a hurry.
No question about that. But having it happen to everyone else is little consolation. In the end I really don't care who's fault it is. In the end, it's my fault (or fortune), nobody else's.
Personally, I think the truth was far more to the negative side.
When this company was valued at $700 million (never mind 4 times that) there was no rational valuation in the world that could make sense of that. But you and I ignored that because rational valuation wasn't really the point, was it? We figured the irrationality would continue.
Wake up call. Suddenly fundamentals count and e.Digital's fundamentals are horrible. Now, at least, with a valuation of $25 million you don't have to be irrational, just incredibly optimistic. And you better hope history and track record have nothing to do with it either.
My strategy at this point is to keep riding the long shares I have to the toilet or the moon, whichever comes first, and trade the dips and maybe make some short term gains.
You sure created the best face possible with that piece of editing. You could at least repost the link to the full text.
Why did you feel it was necessary at all to pull out those paragraphs and make them bold and repost them? Tinroad's full text message was posted just 3 or 4 posts prior to yours.
I often find myself struggling to define the reason I'm deleting a post. It seems like I'm choosing spam or personal attack almost at random because they don't seem to fit very well. As you have restored very few of these I assume you agree that they should have been deleted.
Why can't the free boards have as many reasons available as the premium boards do? At the least I would like to have an off-topic choice. Maybe that's what spam is since it's missing from the premium board choices.
Why would violation of privacy and threat be OK on a free board?
We have comments on this thread by the likes of Onceinalifetime who IMO is brain dead.
That's a personal attack. Whether or not Once is brain dead is not subject of the board. As the moderator you have to set the right example.
Who says that?!?
Looks like I'm screwed. Those large trades weren't me. I hear that sucking sound again.
Sorry Tinroad, Matt told me that links work fine the first time you post them even though they are truncated. Next time I'll mind my own business.
Matt, I've found that I am unable to post long links. They are truncated with ... Same if I try to put them into the iBox. What am I doing wrong?
Tinroad, this is why I used the pink sheets link in the iBox rather than the one on the e.Digital site. For some reason IH posts won't accept long links. They're always truncated. I'll ask on the Q&A board if there is a work around.
I'll defend anyone that I feel has been treated poorly. It makes no difference to me what the opinion is.
The only price for being a moderator is learning to be comfortable in your own skin. And you never get to sleep. LOL.
That's been my belief as well. I can see, though, that there might be another point of view.
I suppose so, as is any private personal communication. Does that then give moral licence to publish the contents?
To the group: I find it in extremely poor taste to reveal the contents of a private message on these boards without permission. Please don't do that or post links to other boards where PMs from this board may be revealed.
If I find that the PM in question here today was in fact fabricated I will do what ever I can to see that the offending person is suspended for a really long time.
Common decency and courtesy are not demanded, they are expected.
Just to clarify, gotmilk, in the past you have sent PMs to me that you said could be posted if I desired. I find no problem with that once permission has been granted.
Matt, while you're at it - and if anyone else would like to give an opinion I'd be happy to hear it - does IH maintain an official position on someone posting publicly the contents of a private message. I find this to be extremely poor behavior. The lowest of lows. Is it just me?
OPM, that's the best.
Dude, you got any??
Uh, no. That would make me a savvy trader. I got mine at the high, 17 cents. But hey, there's always next week, right?
Ah well, that's the beauty of America. You're allowed to do crazy things with your own money.
I knew that sucker would turn north at the bell. Only lost a $100 today. At that rate I won't be broke till well into summer.
I was starting to doubt your sanity.
You haven't already?
Uh, I was kidding, actually. The only one that should be taken seriously in the pokey is Matt, and even then you have to be on your toes.
While you're toweling yourself off with my dry humor do you have the soap?
And he gives the normally good natured, easy going, polite, well spoken, EDIG denizens a bad name. What a shame.
Given the length of time over which the unusual buying took place this morning I find neither of those scenarios compelling. Might just be one big trade that sent everyone chasing. Who knows? We'll see.
Thanks for the info.
Edit.
Nah, I can't drink that stuff. I'm not quite a snob but I'm working on it.
What is spoofing?
Edit:Have I been spoofed?
Yea, you watch, "due to circumstances beyond the control of e.Digital management we regret to inform our loyal shareholders that...". I need a drink.
As it is I'll probably get sucked down the drain.
I heard a sucking noise but it just went away. I think I'm driving myself crazy. Anyone want to play hockey?
Consult recent company news to see what may have sparked this heightened demand.
I'll get right on it.
