Hi Augie
DLP= Digital Light Processing
TXN owns the technology.
http://www.dlp.com/Default.asp?bhcp=1#Scene_1
Thanks again. I saw that, but since my desktop has it stealthed, I wanted the same for my notebook.
I'm not sure where that cd-rom test is. I got a pop-up wanting to sell me software.
It asked me to "click here" and it would try to open the cd-rom drive.
I clicked it and the damn door popped open! I wasn't real happy about that.
I tried this on my desktop before, and it was secure.
I'm wondering if port 113 had anything to do with that.
If I find it, I'll post a link.
Thanks, you're right. Never saw that.
Who reads the fine print?
DLP is the hot technology. Texas Instruments is the leader there.
Plasmas suck. People will be real sorry in a few years that they spent $10,000 on a T.V. that will need expensive repairs.
No way would I buy a plasma set.
Also, because of nano technology, in a few years, computer will be built right into the monitor. You'll have a monitor with a DVD drive built in and a keyboard.
You can go to CompUSA today a see the first generation of this.
The LCD screen is about 8" thick, all the components are built into the monitor.
He also was going to send out an e-mail periodically.
He sent out one as a test, but no more.
Yes, I understand. Thanks Bull. eom
O.k., thanks, Bull. eom
Glad to hear. eom.
Greg, thank you VERY much. I downloaded that file and installed it in the proper folder.
It did the trick!
Those are 2 good programs. I'm glad I can now use them on my notebook.
Thanks again!
Scott
LOL! A homeless hacker!
Did he go to public libraries, or did he use his PDA w/ Wi-Fi!
Only in America!
Thanks Bruce. By the way, how's Wonderdog doing these days?
All healed and everything alright, I hope?
Bruce,
I did a search of both my computers: notebook and desktop.
Neither one had "DCat Screen Saver" installed.
On the desktop, remember, both "Blaster" and 'guard' work fine.
Why it won't work on the notebook, I have no clue.
When installed, both programs reported that the install was "successful".
"...and I will probably set up a Wahz picks portfolio 1st"
That would be nice. We could book mark it and it would up-date automatically. That would be great.
Thanks, Bull.
I booked marked it.
You gave that to me once before. I thought I marked it but I couldn't find it.
Thanks again,
Df
A little help, please.
I run SpywareBlaster and SpywareGuard on my desktop, no problem.
But when I try and run them on my notebook, I get a "run-time error "339" and " Component 'MSCOMCTL>OCX' or one of its dependencies is not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid".
Any ideas what to do?
Thanks,
Scott
Componants, I guess. Like these.

Hey, I like the smilely face. Cool!
Do you have a chart like the BDH one ?
Thanks for that chart, by the way.
Come down quicker? eom.
I guess it's like anything else in a free- market society.
It comes down to need, quality and marketing (which may be the most important of the three.).
OT:Nothing. Straight. Black. Even then, it doesn't have much taste. Only drink it if I don't have espresso.
The markets are in the "goo". This is a good time to just sit on your hands.
Very true. eom.
Thanks for that "wake-up smack-in-the-face"!
I don't know how I missed that.
Wait... probably too little sleep and too much CAFFINE!
"..the CEO has never sounded this upbeat. NEVER!"
How do you know that?
How long have you been following this stock?
Are you currently holding some?
That was great info, and thanks in advance for your reply,
Scott
OT: Hey you can't say anything negative about Al Sharpton.
Why.... you'll be labled a racist.
OT: Syl, did you even look at that web-site? If you are using XP, I think you, or anyone esle, should check it out.
That was a serious post.
" I know about T&A though :)"
That's more important! ;')
Zone Alarm.
I'll have to re-visit the site.
It was 4 o'clock in the morning, and I was up WAY later than I planned.
I had to install a new USB 2.0 card last night and was up "playing"
I'll be back later on.
Thanks,
Scott
OT: Speaking of shooting the messenger, you and others may be interested in this:

I'v already "shot the messenger."
Bruce, thanks for checking it out.
I didn't know how useful it may ormay not be.
On another note, I ran a test on my notebook last night, and all my port are in stealth mode except port 113.
Later on, I did a test where the test tries to open your CD-rom tray. My damn tray opened. I wasn't happy about that.
Any idea what I need to do here?
Thanks again,
Scott
Just tested my notebook and it smoked my desktop.
Both P4 1.6Ghz w/512MB RAM.
Desktop best I believe was 726.
Notebook: 876
And that's with 2 yellow flags!
One for Internet and one for windows.
O.K., I must have missed that somewhere.
Thanks.
Df
Thought you may be interested in this "Shredder".
Supposed to "REALLY" delete files off your harddrive.

Let me know what you think.

So, you still see around 2300 and then a "rolling" correction"?
I think we're in a rolling correction now.
Intraday "swings" with a flat close (or slightly down).
You're not the messanger.
Messengers don't have a choice. They're given something to deliver and they deliver it.
You are picking what to, and what not to, "deliver".
Well, hope I don't come across as a Fu*king sheep, but you ARE the MAN.
The call you've made on NENG is F-ing incredible.
Wahz, you REALLY know your "shit".
Great job.
I don't know.
I just thought it was funny because the last few days, I bet a lot of people feel the same way. LOL!
"What just happened to SCON? I went to the fridge and came back to see that it dropped 40 cents. :("
Welcome to the club!
Everyone's "selling the news", it seems.
Thanks, Bull. eom
